The Hungry Black Man

Frank, honest, and knows food and customer service describes The Hungry Black Man. In my locale (Atlanta), many of the restaurants that he reviewed, he was absolutely correct about, especially those that serve subpar food and have the audacity to refuse to refund knowing they're intentionally serving subpar food. He doesn't give negative reviews; he gives honest reviews. Thank you for keeping it 100!

Yeah, his opinions can be a little frank and honestly not always sure I'm on board with the politics. I can tell you though as someone who lived in the city and went to several of the restaurants he has reviewed before I ever even came across his stuff, his reviews of Detroit restaurants have been spot on, his writing is a lot of fun and he goes out of his way to promote restaurants that aren't on the radar for somewhere like Eater or some of the more well known Detroit publications that do restaurant reviews.

This guy travels and post live online and says derogatory things about black owned restaurants! Do not support this man! He does a huge injustice for black owned restaurants all over the south! This is my opinion and mine only!

The Facebook posts plus the lack of their understanding of verbiage and now couple with sub par food is why they get 1 star. My first 1 star review.
