The Dixboro Project With Dixboro House Restaurant and the Boro Cafe Open in Ann Arbor Along Fleming Creek This Spring | Eater Detroit

"I recall that Roger Monk’s was the previous bar and restaurant in the barn before it shuttered in 2016; it had been a legendary local hangout for more than 50 years, and Farah and her husband frequented it for cocktails, which helped her recognize the site's potential for redevelopment." - John Reyes

This was a great restaurant with good food and very helpful service. I got the rice bowl with chicken and sweet chili sauce, which was gluten-free and delicious. My friend got this amazing soft pretzel which she absolutely loved.

I ordered garlic parm bone in wings and the tavern fries. I ordered the wings extra crispy with medium heat, I have to say, I really enjoyed them. The wings were a good size, the flavor was delicious. I also enjoyed the Tavern fries, not too much seasoning, which is how I like my fries. Fresh, crispy, good seasoning on the Tavern fries. I love ranch so it matters to me how the ranch tastes at their restaurant. Luckily, their ranch passes👍 I ate here with a few coworkers for lunch, we all ordered wings and everyone really enjoyed them! If I am ever in the East valley, I know which sports bar I will be stopping at from now on.

To start off, the waitress told us this was a scratch kitchen. Nothing is frozen and all their sauces are freshly made. The portions are great, the food is great and the service is fast. The customers here are an older crowd, not rowdy.

We tried this place one evening for dinner and happy hour. We were greeted right away and seated. Our server Megan got our drink order and then returned and took our food order. I ordered the Smoked Wings with Cajun Medium the wings themselves are very favorable with no sauce. The Cajun Medium Sauce was not spicy, will try the hot next time. The Fried Pickles were fantastic and very delicious cooked to perfection. The ranch dip dressing must be made in house because it was some of the best tasting ranch dressing we have tasted in quite awhile. My partner ordered the BLT with Avocado which was very delicious, they do not chinch on the Bacon. The Tator Tot side were cooked to perfection. Our server Megan was fantastic. If you go ask for Megan. The Beer was very cold and delicious. The restaurant was clean as were the restrooms. They have daily specials which are great and happy hour Monday through Friday 2pm to 6:30pm and 10pm to close and all day Sunday. Great deals on food and drinks. We cannot wait to return and try some more items on the menu. It is a sports bar but they have a great menu.

We met friends here for lunch and drinks on the day after Christmas, we hadn’t dined here before and we weren’t disappointed. We were greeted by a sign to seat ourselves when we entered, it’s always nice to be able to choose your own spot. They have QR code menus on the tables and we were also brought hard copy menus. Some newer offerings aren’t in the online menu and there is also a lunchtime special menu with a wide selection of items for $12. I was super impressed with the selection of food overall and the quality was decent for pub fare. As an example, we asked if the boneless wings were essentially chicken nuggets and the waitress said they make everything from scratch in the kitchen, they don’t get frozen wings and deep fry them. We ordered the wings and the Bavarian pretzel with honey mustard as appetizers and they were both delicious. When the time came to order our meal we weren’t sure we needed any more food! But we caved and ordered the smash burger with sweet potato fries and the grilled cheese sandwich. Our pals ordered the burger and the tuna tartare salad, they both were very impressed with their choices. They didn’t ask how we wanted the burger cooked (we prefer a medium rare burger) so it was overcooked for our tastes. My grilled cheese sandwich was fun, their take on it with tomato and arugula is a good version. My sweetie wanted to try the Mac and cheese so I ordered that as my side, honestly that was disappointing, it had panko and bacon and I’m a bit of a purist so it wasn’t for me. The service was outstanding in a way that deserves special mention. We were helped by no fewer than four people who checked in on us, all with engaging good humor. I’m sorry I don’t know your names or I would give you a shout out, you all deserve it for making our lunch (and a reunion with our pals) memorable for all of us. We all enjoyed a beer while we were there, they have a huge selection and were quick to provide samples. The restroom was clean and well stocked. It was also clear where they are located. I highly recommend this as a place to drop in for drinks and a bite, you won’t regret it and the service in particular will knock your socks off!

Worst customer service!!! I would like to say they were understaffed, but they weren't. Our visit started with the waitress getting 3 of the 5 drinks correct, then she NEVER followed up with refills, to include the additional drink we asked for ......3 times!!! We ended up getting drink refills and requested drink from the food runner. When ordering food, an item requested was sold out, which was not related to us by the waitress during her interactions prior to ordering. Our appetizer came out with our food, 30mins after ordering. One of the five meals was room temperature. When it came back to the table, at least 15 mins later, the plate lacked the amount of food as the first time. Following the notification and replacement of our cold meal, we watched the manager stare at our table but he never made contact. Had he spoken to us, we would have brought up the concerns of lack of service. We also watched the manager readjust himself and check his pants zipper, with his hand, while facing the resturant floor. For the duration of the hour and 10mins we sat at the table, the waitress NEVER checked in on us, outside of taking our order, dropping off the meal replacement, and the drinks, but we did hear her check in other tables around us. In the end, had we not waived her down to pay, who knows how long we would have sat there. Not that we asked or were expecting, but for those wondering, we recieved no discount or comp for the cold food. The Hungry Monk, do better! Customer service is not a dead concept.

Google
We haven't been here for years because we moved out of the area. Now that we are back, we decided to return. Not a good decision. Sevice was pretty much nonexistent--no drink refills, no extra napkins, no one was around when our order was wrong. The food (Cali wrap and dippers) was seasoned with so much black pepper and salt my mouth was on fire. It also was not made correctly (left off the cheese and avocado). My husband had the wedge salad and there was no dressing and they charge .75 for a tiny extra cup. It took so long just to get the extra dressing--again horrible service. Next I will mention price and the are ridiculous for what you get. Very small portions with a very large price tag. Very disappointed. 😔

Google
Best food hands down!! 10/10 recommend. I've been here a few times and tried something different each time and I was not disappointed!!

Yelp
The 4 cheese grilled cheese is excellent! It was toasty and gooey. I ordered it with a side salad with honey mustard. The croutons were crunchy and salty and delicious. They could offer those as an appetizer alone! I will return to try the baloney sammy. Way to go off the beaten path and be creative with the menu. I started with a Joy Bus Wheat which always hits and then a Donut Stout which tasted to me like the old fashioned chocolate covered cake donuts. My friend thought it tasted like coffee. Delish! And I appreciate the tiny taster sizes as I like a cold beret and I like options so this size provides both.

Yelp
This place never serves a bad meal or other than stellar selection of beer. The service was great considering there was only the bartender really running the service but nobody seemed to be neglected ever. The bar is kind of dicey but that is a reason I keep coming back and will be back in the future
google avatar

Nicole R.

Yelp
The service, atmosphere, people and drinks here are all awesome. The staff are amazing! Melissa is the best! This place is fun and comfortable and even being from out of town, we feel at home here!
google avatar

Yelp
Come for food, stay for service! The wings are the best in the valley that I've tried so far. Absolutely tasty! And Melissa is AWESOME. She's the real deal.

Yelp
My friend and I are big football fans but don't live that close to another. We decided to meet up on a Sunday that our teams were playing another but weren't sure where to meet that was relatively in-between us. Lucky for us, Yelp pointed us to Hungry Monk! They aren't a fan-specific bar and offer TVs for any/all Sunday games (with team logos on each TV to identify where to sit). Lovely that they offer NFL Sunday Ticket- we had a bunch of teams represented jn the early games. I'm shocked that I've driven past this intersection for years and never thought anything of it. Based on their socials they offer rotating weekly fun- trivia, HH, etc. The bartenders were super sweet and took good care of us. My friend arrived ahead of me and found the TV for our game, belly up at the bar. Sunday is all day happy hour for food and drink specials. What I really appreciate about The Hungry Monk is they offer craft and domestic beers on tap and bottles/cans. We both had a few plus some of the sliders (another HH win, $3/per). I initially ordered one cheeseburger and one chicken slider... and then ordered another round! Cheers to The Monk!

Yelp
Heck yes. Looking for a late night spot to munch? This is the place. The wings are homemade and tossed in the best sauces. There is trivia night and there are games you and your friends can play while you dine. Servers are cheery and great at their jobs. Highly recommend the hot wings here.
google avatar

Amy F.

Yelp
Great place to hang out and watch the games with family and friends. I have no complaints
google avatar

Wesley E.

Yelp
Haven't been here for years and wanted some good beer and dinner pretty late in the evening. We got in right after trivia had finished up for the night and the vibe was perfect. The crowd had died down and it was just a nice chill meal. Our server was an absolute peach, the beer was amazing, and the burgers were outstanding. The fries, though, oh my god they are the best fries I have had in a little bit. I'll have to remember to keep coming back, and they have all kinds of different daily specials and events, so I'll have to check those out l, too.
google avatar

Amanda M.

Yelp
We had the gyro quesadilla and it was worth it! Staff was super friendly- Marcy was our bartender and so sweet. The bar was hosting trivia night when we went in and the atmosphere was fun with both family and friends hanging out.

Rebekah S.

Yelp
We love The Hungry Monk! The bar tenders are always so nice and attentive and their food is awesome! My only complaint is that they stop serving food at 8. That is a bit confusing especially cause that's early and also wouldn't you want your patrons to eat something before they drive home? This place is great but that is my only complaint. I highly recommend this place and again their food is really good! Also they make their own sauces in house!

Michael R.

Yelp
I had the Brewster crushed double burger and my wife had the Seared Tuna Sandwich. Both of the sandwiches were awesome. The Cole slaw was good also. The service was great, too. We will be back soon.

Yelp
I was craving a nice cold beer on a hot AZ day, so I decided to check this place out with a friend since I saw they had a nice selection of IPAs. We got the boat shoes IPA as well as the Rocky Point. Both were great ! For food, we got the carnitas fries, cheese curds, and the caprese sandwich with a side salad. The carnitas fries were not my favorite , the meat had a strange smokey taste, just not the carnitas I was expecting. The cheese curds were delicious! Side salad was good, tasted very fresh. The caprese sandwich was so good! Love the concept of making that into a sandwich. It just works ! Service was great, the waitress was very kind and attentive. Check them out next time your in need of a cold one!

Yelp
First time stopping by for dinner. Came it at 630 on a Saturday night and got seated right away. The place was pretty packed and they have several big tvs with all the college football games on. Seems like a favorite neighborhood hangout. It was so packed because they have trivia on Saturdays at 7pm. I ordered the apple walnut salad to start and split with the hubby. I got the brewtus burger (sub impossible patty) with the seasoned fries. They have several options for sides including several variations of potatoes (seasoned fries, dipper, Belgian, sweet potato, abbey chips). I got the seasoned fries based on our server Alicia's recommendation. Hubby ordered the tenders tossed in Thai peanut sauce. It's a little strange they don't come with any sides but we ordered the salad and fries so we could split them. The salad never came out as an app. When we asked about it they said the kitchen was behind. We got the salad and chicken tenders a few minutes later (35 mins after we ordered) and then the burger took another 15 mins. The place had every table full because of trivia and I assume the kitchen got backed up with all the orders going in around the same time. The salad had 4 small slivers of apple (maybe 1/4 apple) for an apple walnut salad. There was plenty of greens which is what I wanted the salad for anyway and the walnuts were really good. The burger bun was super buttery and soft. The burger smelled like beef and made me super nervous since I was ordering an impossible patty, but the manager came over and assured me it was impossible because of the shape and her daughter is also vegan, so that made me feel better. It's just clearly cooked on the same surface as the beef and absorbed the flavors. The chicken tenders were huge pieces and hubby said 3 would have been more than enough for him. The chicken was a bit game-y and stringy but the flavor of the sauce was good. We weren't in a huge rush, but it still took way longer than we hoped (almost two hours). We will try to stop in another night to give it another shot when they aren't so packed.

Yelp
Omg...my boyfriend and i just tried this place for dinner and it's amazing! The food is great. Tayler E served us and was fantastic. Working in the industry it's so nice to come out and receive great service and hospitality. I would definitely recommend the pretzel and their Oreo fudge sundae!! We got burgers for dinner and they didn't disappoint the menu has everything you can think of! Once again thank you guys for such a great dinner and make sure you ask for Tayler when you come in!!!

Yelp
I take my Buffalo wings seriously, and Hungry Monk provides a solid crunch-to-juice ratio along with a wide variety of sauces/seasonings. I can always appreciate an establishment that carries local beer & mead too.
google avatar

Jude R.

Yelp
They have amazing tasty wings and their trivia nights are so much h fun. It was my first time there and I was pressed
google avatar

Damilola L.

Yelp
I was invited to this place by a friend for trivia night on a Tuesday at 7:30 pm. Walked in to pack room with a neighborhood feel. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive despite how busy it was. This will definitely be a spot that I'll revisit for their daily food specials and theme nights such as: trivia, bingo and paint night. We ordered tacos, wings, fries, and chicken pesto bites. All delicious!

Maya S.

Yelp
Loved this place! Burgers were absolutely amazing and juicy! Service was great! The night we went it was a trivia night so that was very cute to watch
google avatar

Jorja L.

Yelp
While visiting family in PHX, we decided to try the Hungry Monk since they had trivia on Tuesday night. It was a great choice! The service was incredible. Drinks from the bar arrived in less than two minutes and appetizers in less than 10. Our waitress never let a glass get empty, and helped us make selections from the menu. We loved both our appetizers. The pretzel was hot, fluffy and the perfect amount of salt. The buffalo cauliflower was delicious. Not too much breading and the right level of heat. For dinner, I ordered the fried chicken salad with the jerk hot sauce. It was huge and very tasty. I couldn't finish it all, although trying my best. The rest of my party also enjoyed their meals (a mix of sandwiches, tacos and burgers). I really appreciated the craft beer menu - they had a great selection of things you can't find on most sports bar menus. My husband and I have been to a lot of bars for trivia and this one was great. They had tv monitors displaying the questions, answers and scores. The servers definitely knew how to handle the trivia teams (I say this because many servers don't get it and ruin the experience). Next time we are in town, we will return!
google avatar

Scott S.

Yelp
Had the jalapeño, bacon grilled cheese, hamburger and cheese curds. Grilled cheese was great, hamburger wasn't anything special except the bun was exceptional, fries were lack luster. Cheese curds appetizer were good but arrived only 2 minutes before our meal.
google avatar

XxFlawed L.

Yelp
First time there. New to the area. Great BLT! A lot of country music, but I won't ding them for that since a slipknot song slipped in there somewhere, no pun. Good service. Will be back.
google avatar

Henry W.

Yelp
We attended a bourbon and beer six course meal event last night. The event was well organized and a lot of fun. The food was way better than I thought it was going to be. They really put a lot of thought and attention into the dishes. Overall a really neat place.

Jazz J.

Yelp
Delicious food! Great all you can eat wings deal. Great service, friendly and on top of everything. Definitely recommend!! Taylor is a great server!

Yelp
Stopped in for the first time yesterday. Had great service and great food. Couldn't have asked for anything more.

Sandy S.

Yelp
I went with a group for a paint night here. The waitress said they had no paper menus - you had to use the QR code. Mmmm ok. I wish businesses would realize that not everyone likes the QR code method. I couldn't even read the menu on the app. It was so small with no way to enlarge it. It's really not that expensive to run off a couple printed out menus...Chinese restaurants have been doing it for decades. The food was ok. Just regular bar food. We kept looking for our waitress. She kept disappearing. It's not a huge place. At one point no one could find her and we were like...um...do we just leave? No one was on the floor to check us out or even take our money. My friend went up to the bar to speak with the bartender and our waitress showed up magically! Weird. The floors were sticky all the way to the bathroom. Some cleaners leave a sticky residue to I kind of blew that off. Bathrooms are easy to find. Went again with my husband maybe six months later for lunch. Place was dark. No one greeted us, they just all chatted behind the bar. Ok, that's fine. Again the QR code thing. We logged on and I still couldn't see the menu, nor would it zoom on my phone. I was not going to go through the trouble to screen shot it and zoom in. Not convenient at all. (Apple phone) My husband's Android had the same issue. After 5 minutes of sitting there, no one came by and we were struggling with the lame menu...we just got up and left. NOT ONE employee even looked at us. Is it like a common occurrence? It was kinda surreal. With all the businesses trying to stay in business, you'd think someone would at least say "welcome in". Everything was sticky this time. The floors and the tables, the door handles. (At the art party the tables were all covered with plastic to we did not ruin stuff) I think they would be worth checking out if they get the menu issue resolved and change our the cleaner they use. I've gone to other QR code menu places and you can zoom in to read the menu on the app, OR they give you a cheap paper menu. No biggie. At the art party I ordered the soft pretzel - It's HUGE and tastes like a pretzel should.

Yelp
I LOVE the Italian grilled cheese sandwich. And ordering their mushrooms is excellent. They are of great quality and quantity. I haven't tried anything else but their meals look like many options. I will try their green chili cheeseburgers. Man, I just see a lot I'm interested in. Their service is excellent. You feel very welcome. They have big greeting smiles. I love that they welcome dogs in the patio. Other customers are so nice. They welcomed my dog with warmth. People are of good cheer. I highly recommend this restaurant.
google avatar

Julie F.

Yelp
I am once again updating my review. I am sorry to say that the food quality has continued to decrease. Tonight I had grilled chicken tenders, and they were so charred (burned) that I could not eat them. I also had the coleslaw, and it was very dry. Tasted like dry cabbage only. The beer selection is fantastic, and I love going to trivia, but the food needs to get better. Especially with the increasing prices. I will give them another shot, but they are quickly running out of chances.

Rita F.

Yelp
I adore the owner Tiffany, and Chef Giddy is very talented in the kitchen. I always feel welcome and she makes the best drinks! The entire staff is so friendly. I love their Buffalo cauliflower and wings, but honestly everything is amazing. The chef makes all of his own sauces and dressings. A gem of a spot.

Kathy C.

Yelp
Amazing food and daily specials for 15 people and served by Meghen! Thursday Steak night! Sirloin and mashed potatoes and Carrots great price tasty meal! Great Happy hour specials too warm and friendly pub!! We will be back

Yelp
Fun interior with board games to play with friends. The food was great (wings and sweet potato fries) and the service was prompt and friendly. Will definitely go back next time I'm in town!

Yelp
Overall a great experience. I tried this place with some co-workers recently, and now we go about once a week. Their lunch menu is awesome and very reasonably priced. I personally love their wings which are always crispy and perfectly spicy. Plus the tater tots they come with are light and crispy. The servers are all very nice, and they are very good about making sure we get our orders quickly. The place itself has a chill vibe, and lots of sports on all the TV's. They even put up certain games you are looking for on the TV's near you if they can. All in all a solid spot.
google avatar

Susan G.

Yelp
It's described as a family place / sports bar but the music is more family oriented - I mean, what sports bar plays a rendition of "You Light Up My Life". LOL! Stopped in a couple Saturdays ago, around 4:30ish & it was pretty empty which means we were seated immediately. Dislikes: the edamame was barely warm; the salad's walnuts were all globbed together, as were the dried cranberries; and the grilled cheese did not have enough cheese. Would I go back? Unsure. Likes: well, it was a wide open dining area with plenty of parking. The mushrooms were good although they may have come from a grocery-bought bag. My sister liked her hamburger though - and I have been told that is what the Monk is known for so maybe, just maybe, if I return it will be to try a burger.
google avatar

Paige P.

Yelp
First time we tried this place it was great! The atmosphere was hopping! The food was yummy! Unfortunately, the next time we were there we sat outside with our dog... the company was colorful to say the least. Some older fellas, regulars, talking about how women should be at home cooking dinner, etc. Every other word was foul. I was very uncomfortable being there. We quickly asked for to go boxes, wrapped up, and enjoyed our cold burgers at home. I guess this place is a place to meet up with friends for a sporting event...and stay inside.

Destiny B.

Yelp
Hungry Monks is the best place to try new beers and have a great meal. Been coming here weekly for almost a year and the service and food has always been 10/10. Megan is amazing and so is Tiffany and Giddy. I tell everyone i know that they need to experience the hungry monk. Also the tables and bathrooms are always clean because they have the best attentive staff!! Love this place and will always recommend to anyone that'll listen !

Luke V.

Yelp
Amazing service we come here every week Tiff Giddy Megan make this place the best to come too the best food and drinks in Arizona. My whole week is looking forward to the Monks!

Samantha J.

Yelp
My friend and I went to The Hungry Monk before heading into Daiso in the same shopping complex. Upon entering, I noticed a very relaxed bar theme. There are some tvs, booths and tables. We saw a sign asking us to choose wherever we'd like to sit. We chose a booth and within a few minutes we were brought our drinks and the menus. They have some really great lunch specials here. I ordered the 5 wings with fries lunch special. I ordered my wings hot with Buffalo sauce (extra sauce). My friend ordered a burger. We both really enjoyed our meals. I thought the wings were pretty tasty. I've recently returned from a trip to Buffalo and so now I judge all hot wings against those amazing wings in NY. These were great. They came out crispy and hot. The sauce reminded me of a real Buffalo sauce. The fries were battered fries and very crispy. I really enjoyed it and will be back for more wings.

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch and can't complain. They have affordable options and the beer and chicken sliders were great.

Tom G.

Yelp
I always stop here when I'm in Chandler on business. The food is amazing and the beer selection is some of the best in town!

Eric E.

Yelp
The Monk knows how to take care of their Customers. Food is great, they have serious variety of beers on tap. They even have Dos Equis in a bottle. Servers are happy, on top of their game always. Good time is guaranteed at the Monk. Check it out

Yelp
WTH!!.. Let me start off nice first!! I had my order delivered, The Nachos look amazing but probably better eaten in the restaurant. By the time they got to me they didn't look so fresh, It seemed like the delivery driver sat at Dobson and Warner for like15 minutes and then only took him maybe 5 minutes to get to me.. Maybe he had another order to drop off but he seemed to be there for a bit... But There a few BAD issues with my order..!!  One of the sour cream containers was partially smashed SO sour cream leaked out everywhere, The bowl of Chili was laying on its side and that lid was partially coming off soo my Chili leaked out also... My piece of Carmel cheesecake for 11.00 well the plastic lid came super cracked up with a chunk of it punched in like somebody literally punched it.. All my items seemed to of been crunched, smashed, or punched for some reason...Soo everything probably would have been delicious if there weren't so many screwed up things that happened to it before it got to mee!!!... I am not sure if all this happened because of the packaging at the restaurant!?? Or from the delivery driver!?? My cheesecake I can't eat at all dammit because of the plastic pieces.....I did take a picture of the lid right away though which is right there below.!!..... VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!!!... My first time trying Hungry Monk.....! ... I paid 48.00 for Nachos and a slice of Cheesecake that wasn't soo edible after all but looks like it could have been.....!!!

Yelp
Friendly Fun and most certainly entertaining! Best local bar staff and excellent food!

Yelp
we have been going to the Hungry Monk in Chandler for years, but no more since they are now putting the tip on the ticket. There were 4 adults and 2 small children. My $12 lunch came to over $ 18 with tax so we will not be going back.

Yelp
This pains me greatly to have to give this review. I've always enjoyed this place in the past. It has a nice ambiance to watch sports games, the servers are generally very nice and accomodating, and the cost is not crazy or anything. But DAMN the food SUCKS now. It was much better 10 years ago, but I just ate there tonight and the food is terrible. Beyond terrible. They should have paid us to eat it, it was that bad. The nacho appetizer had the driest terrible pork meat on top and hardly any cheese. Virtually everything we ate was horribly dry and tasteless. We even ordered honey hot wings and what we were brought was not that. It tasted horrible and acidic and was definitely not that flavor. Drinks we had were average and tasteless. And got delivered an order that wasn't even ours and meant for someone else. I would assume blame falls squarely on the manager for allowing bland, useless meals to be served here. The menu definitely needs a massive upgrade. It is the worst 'bar food' I've ever had and I've eaten at hundreds and hundreds of bars all across the country. Just terrible. Please upgrade your menu because I would love to see you remain in business and you will quickly be out of business unless the food gets a hell of a LOT better. Seriously guys you can do much better. Nut up and make your food worth eating!

Yelp
The Monk is still the go-to place for great Chicken. (Oh, and their Bar is pretty well stocked, too). We've been coming here for over five years and it seems everyone in my office is here on most days. Yeah, I know that Wild Chicken place at the Mall does some nice business too. But they cannot beat The Monks for flavor, price or size of their chicken tenders. If you like heat, well The Monk has something called Nuclear. You got to try it. It will make your mouth water and make the top of your head perspire. Now that I just describe it, can you taste it? Don't forget their $0.65 Wings Tuesday's and $3.00 Craft Beer & $0.65 Boneless Wings - All Day Wednesday! "Another Hopknot IPA, barkeep." Enjoy!

Yelp
Utterly disappointed. How does a place who advertiser a chef on staff and the food doesn't come close to enjoyable. Don't waste your hard earned dollars on this place. Venture down the street and you will find something decent oppose to the service and good quality of this place. Drink specials, new ownership and smiles doesn't change the low quality and depleting environment you sit in.

Yelp
Horrible Service, new owners, beware. Use to love them and their service ! Don't do it! Trust me especially if you are a minority. Disgusting service, disgraceful.

Yelp
The manager/server Marcia was great. She added to a fun local ambiance. A very extensive menu that really has something for everybody. Looks like they have great specials for every day of the week. So if you are in the area and want some good food, make sure you slide on in here . You will not be disappointed.
