"I note that Dapper recently purchased the famed Huntridge Theater for $4 million; the theater, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, originally opened in 1944 and hosted acts including The Killers, Smashing Pumpkins, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Violent Femmes before closing on July 31, 2004, and Dapper plans a three-year renovation of the theater and outlying buildings that will include restaurants." - Susan Stapleton
I have so many memories with this place as a kid, my first time ever was when I saw ET there, in the 80s, then multiple concerts as a teen, then a lgbtq church as a teen. Not to mention my grandparents had a home right behind this place. This place will forever hold a special place in my heart and memories.

Anyone have video of Porno for Pyros, who played in the early 90's. I believe 94. "TOOL" was the opening band?

I love the nostalgia of old Vegas. Can't stand all the new places that cater to rich, out of touch people. I saw ICP here in the 90s. I also saw a few local bands too. It's not about how it's ran, but the nostalgia of the theater itself. The Huntridge Theater needs someone to save it from the bums!
I just noticed last night (10/26/2023) that the lights are back on. So, maybe just maybe!

I remember seeing Operation Ivy back in the late 90's as an early teenager. A couple of years later I was able to see Less Than Jake, The Aquabats, and New Found Glory on the same marquee.
I've had so many fond memories in the past of this theater. Every time I drive past it a little piece of my heart hurts.
This theater didn't deserve what it's getting. I'd love to see it return to its former glory one day.

Old school feels. I have always wondered what it will be when you're inside the theater. I'm looking forward to visiting the theater when it's finally reopend, bringing back the old times to the modern era.

Definitely This is one of the best venues in Vegas, good food, good bar, good services, the venue is very subtle & elegant and they have very good prices, looks inside like one of the Wynn venues. And outside have a Tuscan vives, totally recommend it.
