Google
I have been ordering from this restaurant for almost three years, primarily for takeout since it’s the closest option to me. Recently, they renovated the interior, and I really love the new look! Now, we are looking forward to dining in. The service has always been great, and the food remains excellent.

Google
recently visited Hyderabad House and had a very disappointing experience. The service was extremely worest — the staff was not attentive, and we had to wait a long time just to place our order. Even after ordering, the food took too long to arrive. Coming to the food quality, it was nowhere close to expectations. The taste was bland, and the dishes lacked the authentic Hyderabadi flavor they are known for. The biryani, which is supposed to be their signature dish, was cold and dry, making it hard to eat. Overall, the hospitality and food quality were below average, and I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re looking for a good dining experience. Not worth the price at all! I never Recommended to anyone worst food and service. I’m waiting for service min 30min ⭐ Rating: 1/5

Google
First time customers. This is the real deal! The Food was flavorful, delicious and served in copious amounts.

Google
I did a Uber Order from this restaurant. I accidentally ordered 2 Naans and since I won't be able to finish it I asked Uber to remove 1 Naan, they sent me back to the restaurant. The restaurant staff was very rude in dealing with this issue. On top of that in the same order I had ordered Chicken Curry - Medium Spicy but they sent me a curry which is super spicy snd tampered with my order on purpose because they were going to lose an order or had to payback for x1 Naan, since I am an Indian I have a very high spice tolerance but it was too much even for me. You can see in the picture the curry is literally red hot. Never had this bad of an experience with any restaurant. I am never ordering anything from this restaurant.

I recently ordered haleem from this restaurant, and it was absolutely delicious The flavors were rich, perfectly spiced. I highly recommend this place to anyone craving authentic and tasty food. I Will definitely order again

Google
Hidden gem. Lots of food for a reasonable price. Only downside is they don’t have an ice machine for drinks. But very worth it

Google
Oh my goodness! Trust me on this one, guys—hands down, the very BEST Mango Lassi I have ever had in the Twin Cities. It's a must-try, $5 for one, and worth every penny. I'm super addicted. Thank my review later! Cheers!

Google
My husband and I have been here a number of times and each time the food and service has been excellent. We always order a different dosa and at least 2 different entrees and each time its been wonderful. The chilly chicken appetizer is a new favorite. I had a chicken and cashew curry which was perfectly seasoned. My husband had Malai Kofta which is a vegetarian dish and he loved it. They do a brisk take-out business as well. thumbs up! 👍

Yelp
Amazing food. We had chicken vindaloo, chicken Tikka Masala, basmati rice and garlic Naan. The chicken, sauce, rice, Naan were very fresh and delicious. We chose spice level 2 and 3 out of 5. I like spicy food but 3 was too much for me and 2 was too much for my wife. Even so we devoured everything. Portion sizes were generous. Service was friendly. Restaurant is basic but clean. There are 7 tables for dining in. The takeout business was very busy with people coming in continuously.

Yelp
I took my friend from Newyork to this place, normally everything taste good when you are very hungry but that didn't happen to us. We were very hungry still food didn't taste good at all. I don't remember exactly what curry we ordered but it taste weird. I felt like it was just tomorrow purée with some pieces of chicken . I will never go even I am starving.

Yelp
The food was good, but I wouldn't recommend dining in. The staff was too busy with helping drivers for third-party delivery orders to provide attention to the customers in the restaurant. Half the restaurant was closed off because they don't offer the buffet service anymore. The water we got with our meal was warm bottles of Costco water.

Yelp
Solid. I only ordered one item for lunch and it was so delicious and warming on this snowy day that I will be back to make my way through the menu! I'm not sure why, but I'm usually hesitant to order from places that have more than one location. I think I just expect the quality to go down, however, that was not the case with this place! I ended up getting the Chicken Vindaloo. The chicken & potatoes were super tender, all smothered in a THICK curry-like sauce that had a nice heat and touch of clove! It came with a large side of the fluffiest basmati rice I've ever been served! Note, when you order takeout make sure to put what spicy level you want in the instructions section! I just decided on a medium level and next time might request more heat!

Yelp
This place is so warming to the soul. Every item I've ordered so far (I've tried about 4 different entrees) has been absolutely delicious. Juicy chicken and lamb every time, fluffy rice, and the veggies are never soggy or over cooked. The fries are crunchy and delicious too! The mango lassi is so creamy and the perfect dessert if you're gluten free like I am! My husband and I eat here at least once a month. We absolutely love the staff too - always kind and welcoming! For the people saying food takes too long - there is barely ever more than one person working in the front. Have some compassion and patience. I'm always counting down the days til I can come eat here again!

Brianna B.

Yelp
The food is amazing. The decor is not fancy, but If you're looking for high quality Indian food, go here.

Ben B.

Yelp
Super slow service and very unclean atmosphere you would think we were in the slums of India itself

Yelp
This restaurant is tucked away in a corner of a giant Target parking lot. It's easy to miss, especially as it's blocked by a low hill. The interior is amazingly drab: zero decorations. It's just tables and chairs with four walls. But the food is good and they label their vegan options. The vegetable samosa ($7 for three) was savory and nicely done. The masala dosa ($11) is vegan by default and while I liked the interior filling, the crepe portion was too thick. That said, it wasn't terrible. The vegetable coconut curry ($12) was superb: addictive and umami and reminiscent of a Thai red curry. Get this dish spicy, though; the sweetness of the coconut milk was tempered by the chili pepper. I wish the dish had more vegetables, but it was still great. The chana masala ($12) was a tad watery but fine; the dal palak ($12) was heartier and goes nicely over rice. The baingan bhartha ($12) is a smokey eggplant dish that is borderline overpowering in its smokiness (and vinegar-y undertone), but it grew on me. Lastly, the chapathi ($1.50) was excellent: perfect thickness and nice chew. Ultimately, this is some of the better North Indian food in the Twin Cities. India Palace on Hennepin is also decent. If you want the freshest and lightest option around, check out Gorkha Palace in Northeast Minneapolis (which is Nepalese, but fairly similar to North Indian cuisine).

Yelp
I've never had butter chicken before, and I am so happy I got to try it here!! It was amazing. I got the butter chicken with medium spice which came with rice. I also got garlic naan bread. The people were so nice and quick. It looked really clean and quiet inside, i just took my food to go! Will be returning :)

Yelp
Great food. Ordered so much! I wished I had pictures! Samosa chat is enough to divide by two. The nan is so soft and yummy. Dosa was amazing. Difficult to hide my excitement, I ordered quite a few dishes. And all of them did not disappoint. The paneer tikka masala was great
google avatar

Asma S.

Yelp
Tasty food but a little bit more spicy. I ordered medium spice but it felt more like very spicy. The staff was very nice.

Yelp
Hyderabad quickly became a COVID takeout favorite and is our overall favorite Indian restaurant in the Twin Cities! We kept passing Hyderabad when we got pickup orders from Target, and I am now remorseful of that time spent NOT eating their food. Everything we've had has been so flavorful and the servings sizes are abundant. I'm a carnivore, but I usually order all vegetarian here because the robust flavors make me not miss meat at all. Like I said, we've loved everything we've tried, but our must haves so far are the Samosa Chat (in layman's terms: fried veggie dumplings topped with chickpea salad and chutneys) and Gobi 65 Biryani (basmati rice packed with aromatics, veggies, and beautifully cooked cauliflower). We've also thoroughly enjoyed their palak paneer, fish tikka masala, garden vegetable curry, vegetable coconut curry, and of course garlic naan. I love their food so much that while I'm eating it for dinner, I get SO excited thinking about eating it again for lunch the next day. I can't wait until the pandemic ends and we can order a humongous feast to share with friends.

Mark D.

Yelp
Hyderabad: it's Hyderagood! :-) (Awkward pause) Thus, yet another rejected spec jingle (i.e., bad dad joke) goes by the wayside, but that's all right. Their food is excellent, whether you're dining in or taking it to go. Dining in is currently a very sparse experience: few tables, remodeling in seemingly eternal progress (or unused stuff is stored in general view) and service is polite, but infrequently seen. Takeout is a better option at this stage of the game. Of the food, distinctive mention goes to their Hyderabad Special Gobi 65 appetizer. This is essentially Gobi Manchurian, with the spicy coating, but without the sweetness (or cloying syrup sometimes): it is what cauliflower should be. Their Peshwari naan is also excellent. The food is very tasty overall and I recommend it.

Yelp
Their mango lasi is to die for. Sometimes I show up to just to get that drink. They make amazing Indian cuisine. I highly recommend coming here. It might take awhile but we'll worth the wait.

Yelp
Ordered Mild biriyani, but was way to spicy.. Places charges surcharge for credit card No paper plates provided.. overall need better service little things go long way..

Yelp
I ordered via GrubHub and while you always know that things aren't quite going to be as good delivered as they are fresh out of the kitchen, I was pleasantly surprised with Hyderabad. I went with the Chicken Vindaloo (extra spicy) with a side of onions. The dish ($12.95) was served with basmati rice and was piping hot by the time that it hit my door from the 'burbs. While the Vindaloo was not quite as hot as I'd like (I eat extremely hot South Indian foods), it was not overwhelmingly rich and was loaded with chicken. The potatoes in the dish were a nice compliment and the gravy was enough to simply eat with rice and onions alone the following day. Aside from the dish not being XXX hot, I have no complaints and would assuredly go back/order again.

Yelp
Nothing but amazing flavor. Door dash does a great job of delivery from this place. Give them a try. Share entrees or expect enough for a leftover lunch for the next day which I believe is the best part of ordering from here.
google avatar

David N.

Yelp
This has become my go-to Indian restaurant for delivery during the pandemic. I actually have never been to the place in person, but have not been disappointed with anything I've eaten from there. So to be clear this rating is purely based on their food and not service or interior. Overall I'd recommend giving them a try if you live in their delivery radius.

Kristen G.

Yelp
This place is terrible. I've been there three times and it always takes way too long to get the food. it's never made right. They can't get the spice levels right to save their lives. I swear they used green food coloring in my spinach dish. If it's already green what are you hiding? Most dishes are simply not edible.

Mike Y.

Yelp
The inside looked horrible and service was even worse. Lucky us we had carry out only. We felt sorry for the couple inside. The food was not as good. The curry was watery and the chicken was flat tasting. Overall we will not be back.
google avatar

Lauren B.

Yelp
Best chicken tikki masala sauce. I could eat that w the batura bread every day. They gave me a sample of the sauce when I bought 3 breads and now I'm hooked.
google avatar

Randy B.

Yelp
If I could give zero stars I would. Waited 95 minutes for food. It was cold not to spice level and honestly gross. They served numerous to go orders and other tables before we were served. One of them sent back their food as it had hair in it. Frankly any place that serves you bottled water, has tables occupying only half of the restaurant and disappearing wait staff should be a hard pass. TLDR: STAY AWAY
google avatar

Sam S.

Yelp
Downright delicious Indian food! I am in love with their Padadum (the sauces are the perfect balance of sweet and spicy), and we pretty much get their chicken Tikka masala every time we order. Their menu is also HUGE, so there's always more to explore.
google avatar

Natalie S.

Yelp
Daughter and I tried this restaurant today for Sunday lunch. Only one other group was dining when we arrived. The chairs were piled on top of the tables giving an impression that they are not open. We were sitting for several minutes before someone took our order. We ordered the Lamb Samosa. This appetizer order came in 3 pieces. It's delicious with the tamarind sauce and some kind of green sauce. The Spinach Paneer was delicious. The homemade cheese was very filling. The Chicken Tikka Masala tasted similar to the sauce of the Spinach Paneer. We're not big fans of chicken breast. Chicken thighs would make this tastier. Portion sizes were good so lots of leftovers. Daughter said the Mango Lassi was okay. She also ordered the Batura which never came because the server did not put in the order. He must not have heard her. Overall, the food was above average but service sucks. They do a lot of business with takeout. This establishment needs to improve its service so more people will be encouraged to try them out. Will probably not be returning.
google avatar

Ashish G.

Yelp
Good food. Had Dhosa + Chicken Tikka Masala. Loved them both. Location is in a non descriptive area by Target in Fridley and decor is nothing to write about. But food is worth it.
google avatar

Ashley L.

Yelp
I placed an online order for carry out and it was ready in 20 mins! There is also a 10% coupon code on their website for carry out right now. I ordered the Butter Chicken & Chana Masala. You can choose your spice level for your dishes. Both dishes came with basmati rice. I also ordered garlic naan. Everything was superb! When I got home, the food was still SUPER hot (bonus points)! Each dish was super flavorful! I was incredibly impressed with how much food I got as well. I had lots of leftovers! When I arrived to pick up my order, the lady at the front was super nice. Can't wait to order from them again!
google avatar

Nahree K.

Yelp
The Hyderabad Indian Grill is tucked away behind a series of stores, just before you reach Target. Though the restaurant is easy to miss, it's worth stopping in to place an order for pickup! I ordered dinner for my family and it was so much food, not that I'm complaining! I ordered the family pack of butter chicken, spinach paneer, vegetable pakora, and garlic naan. The order came with plenty of rice, a meticulously packaged butter chicken for easy transport, the squeakiest and freshest paneer, light and crunchy battered vegetables, and buttery, chewy naan. The quality of the food is fantastic, the spinach was so creamy, and the combination of buttery, creamy, savory, chewy, and crunchy foods was delightful. I can't wait to order from there again as it was a complete hit with everyone at home.
google avatar

Leeia F.

Yelp
The food is always good. I love the veggie pakora, all the biryanis, especially the chicken dum and "65".

Vue V.

Yelp
Now I know their naan is not freshly made. It's prepackaged and microwaved only. They accidentally gave me ice cold naan.
google avatar

Abhijit B.

Yelp
We had seen this place when we were at the Target store in Fridley last week and so decided to come here tonight to pick up some awesome Biryani. They had some system issues because of which the food was delayed, but the food was really really good. It's very reasonably priced and is sufficient for 2 adults. They have a 10% off coupon on their website for takeout and delivery orders so make sure you use that . We finished up the food so quickly that didn't have the chance to take a photo. Will definitely pickup food again the next time we are at the Target store .

Karen K.

Yelp
This food is delicious!!!!! We ordered the Lamb Vindaloo, Chicken Tikka Masala and Mixed Veg Pakora appetizer. Spice level was perfect, food delivered hot and fresh. You will definitely have leftovers. The green sauce that comes with the Pakora needs to be sold in jars!! It is incredible!! Highly recommend
google avatar

Laura G.

Yelp
Very good food! I had the vegetable coconut curry, my boyfriend had the chicken masala and we shared the chili garlic and garlic Naan bread. Bigger portions and delicious flavors. The staff was incredible and we were very pleased. Definitely will be returning.
google avatar

Kris T.

Yelp
The owners looks the same as "Paradise" with a new restaurant name. The butter chicken was water down and the rice was pretty plain. Two meals cost $40.
google avatar

Nancy I.

Yelp
We had takeout this week. It was great! The food was ready when we got there, it was hot and delicious. Big portions. Highly recommend!

Lynn B.

Yelp
The best Indian food I've had since grandma made it for my family.... Everything I've had was delicious and I've been back several time once dinning in and 3 times for takeout... very consistently good quality and service.

James M.

Yelp
Food is barely edible, you get a warm of bottle water with your food, service is almost non existent, the server lady acted like she hated her life. Wish I never went there.
google avatar

Sikander S.

Yelp
Awesome place!! Always love to go their. I would highly recommend try their North Indian dishes like Amritsari Khulcha and chole, paneer tikka. Dosa and biryani were ok.
google avatar

Sonali P.

Yelp
We stumbled upon this place on DoorDash and we are so glad we did! They serve some of the most flavorful vegetarian Indian food I've had in a long time. It's definitely our go-to for dinners these days.
google avatar

Kurt K.

Yelp
Thank good , use to be paradise . So glad Indian restaurant is back first time here and was not disappointed at all food is so very delicious. And the waitress, was easily one of the best experiences I've had. Definitely be back many times over. I would definitely recommend this to all my friends and family.

Elizabeth P.

Yelp
First visit this past Monday. I tried goat shabdi korda because goat sounded good. And it was! Also chili garlic naan and meal was perfect. Many orders being picked up but they could use some more in house diners. I mean, if this is in your comfort zone. I had leftovers so life is good. I got the medium spice level so it was spicy but not distractingly so. So, if you live nearby and want some tasty vittles, this place is for you.
google avatar

Arun Prakass P.

Yelp
Disappointed with the take out wait times. They gave me wait time as 25 minutes but it took about an hour. When I asked the waitress at front, she was rude. Didn't even apologize for the delay.
google avatar

Jon P.

Yelp
Just had for take out. Great chicken tikka and chicken biryani. One order has three samosas. Medium spicy is actually medium. All was I had better that Paradise-
google avatar

KaBao Y.

Yelp
The food was delicious with lots of flavors. Will order again. Wished I would of have known the dishes comes with rice so I didn't order a dish with rice but it's all good.

Alemap T.

Yelp
Very good! Big portions. Remember: if you want a chutney, order it. I'm used to another place, organic, that includes the chutney with the pakora. But, Hyderabad has such a large portion, so it is totally evened out. The pakora was so good that it was o.k. without the chutneys. Also, the online ordering has way more choices than the online menu so check it out, and don't be dismayed by the sparse looking menu online. Maybe it is because they are new. Hubby loved the onion Naan, and thought the Chicken Tiki Masala was o.k. (more flavorful at the organic place, which makes sense when you know about that mineral chelator glyphosate that is in air, water, chicken feed, etc). Overall, we will probably go again! I need to wait to see if I feel o.k. later on..., but that doesn't apply to most of you, so go for it. -A canary in this worldwide coal mine.

Yelp
This place is the best Indian food I've had in the cities. We've ordered from them three times in the past month. Everything is super fresh, hot, and the flavors are outstanding! The chicken with noodles, Tikka Masala, Apollo Fish and Onion Naan are our go-to's. The portions are huge and leftovers are as good as eating it fresh. It's so good!!!

Priya M.

Yelp
Extremely bad customer service. The person in the counter yells at us for wanting to place an order because she wants doesnt want to do it.

Amanda K.

Yelp
Food was really good! I will be going back to try different things!! Only problem I had was trying to call in to place the order. The guy working there was talking on the phone causing calls not to be able to go through.

Deb M.

Yelp
I am sitting outside of the restaurant waiting to pick up an order and 3out of the 4 people working in the kitchen are NOT WEARING MASKS! Be very careful if you decide to order from this restaurant as safety precautions are not being followed. Also, it's taking forever to get the order - extremely disorganized.

Brigitte S.

Yelp
We've ordered/eaten at many Indian restaurants and we were utterly impressed by the quality and flavor of the 6 dishes we ordered. Will order again!

Lyndsey W.

Yelp
Very delicious food. This will be my new go to Indian restaurant. We had the naan, samosas, butter chicken, and tandoori chicken. All very good! Our favorite was the butter chicken, would highly recommend! If you like Indian food you will love Hyderabad!
