The Hyundai Seoul

The Hyundai Seoul is a modern and stylish shopping mall that offers a great overall experience. The food court is impressive, with a wide range of delicious options, and there are many popular cafés gathered in one convenient location, which makes café hopping very easy. The spacious and clean layout makes it comfortable to walk around and shop. If you are a fan of luxury brands, this place would easily be a five-star destination thanks to the number of high-end stores available.

Super clean, modern, and nice. Even the bathrooms were impressive. It's designed nicely and they have cool resting area with a lot of plants on the fifth floor. But that's about it, i don't think it's worth the trip to 여의도 for just this place. We intentionally avoided weekend to come on a Monday afternoon but there were still a lot of people! We were like man where are all these people from? Do they not work? They can't all be on a PTO. Anyways, it's a nice spot and maybe worth a visit just once so you can say you've been there. Honestly my wife and I prefer shopping at Lotte Mall and dept store in Jamsil where we are staying.

There’s B1 food court that has a great concept here, easy ordering by kiosk and convenient collection of food via SMS once ready. Their fish set is quite impressive, and the bibimbap beef is a must-try—it’s delicious! They also have spicy beef rice that’s equally tasty. There’s a wide variety of food choices in basement 1, so come hungry!

We love the Hyundai Department Store and made sure to visit again this time. It’s super spacious, with plenty of shops and brands. Everything is spread out in a way that creates a relaxed and enjoyable shopping environment. The garden area on the upper floor is especially impressive. The entire floor is dedicated to relaxation and recharging. It is huge! They could have easily filled this space with more shops and restaurants to generate revenue, but instead they chose to create such a delightful area for visitors. I really admire that decision and philosophy. The top floor features a range of restaurants. Some are just okay, but most are excellent. Down in the basement, the food corners are amazing, with endless things to see and eat. You could easily spend an entire afternoon here. Highly recommend a visit when you’re in Seoul!

A great mall for luxury brands. Very impressive specially stories. Hyundai is known for its great construction and the mall shows there ability to build a very beautiful mall that is also a comfortable space. There is a wide range of restaurants. Including lunch I spent about four hours there. Easy to get there by bus or subway which stop in front of the mall. I uploaded a lot of exterior pictures so if you are into architecture take some time to walk around the outside of the mall.

It was a bit disappointing compared to what I had expected. It is composed of an open concept layout that slightly resembles Starfield, and the movement is very long. It seems like the Christmas decoration is in an island style in the center, making it inaccessible. Even coffee shops have a wait, and everything else has a wait, so it might be difficult for older people to come.

A great high-end shopping mall. Standard: Mid to high level brands. - The mall has a good mix of local and international brands. - The mall size is just right (not too big and not too small). - Many cafe shops are available. A solid shopping choice in Seoul.
