I am absolutely furious with this company. Really disappointed. I paid $500 for a repair on my ice machine, expecting it to be fixed properly. Shockingly, it stopped working just one month later! When I called them to demand support or a warranty repair, they flat-out refused to help, claiming there is no warranty despite me paying a hefty amount just weeks ago. This is unprofessional, unacceptable, and downright dishonest. They took my money, gave me a temporary fix, and then left me with a broken machine and zero support. Save yourself the headache and avoid this company at all costs!

I would like to send another great review to them as they have been continuing to provide excellent service. Just to point out that The Iceman does a lot of business with the commercial and service industry, so their delivery service only applies to their commercial clients or if you have a very large order. Despite this, the staff there still provides excellent service even if you are there just to pick up a bag of ice -- it's nice to know they still really care about their neighbourhood customers just as much as their big restaurant clients. They were even nice enough to offer to carry my bags of ice to my car, but that wasn't necessary. A nice plus, they sell dry ice, which came in handy when I was experimenting in molecular gastronomy and making some really neat cocktails and even instant ice cream. Dry ice is great for transporting food and perishables on a long road trip as it is extremely long lasting and doesn't melt or condensate into a wet mess.

Purchased Ice here for my 30th birthday several months ago and had a so-so experience overall. My biggest complaint was in the quoting and communication portion of their staff. I requested a quote for a certain amount of cocktail ice (1 inch cubes) perfect for making craft cocktails on their website and received a reasonable quote quickly via email. I placed the order, satisfied with the quality, quantity and price of my order. Apparently, unless you're doing a very large order, you're not getting delivery as they promote on their website. I even offered to pay for the service and they would not budge. I had to make the trek to pick up my order, and despite it being incredibly inconvenient to access their tiny parking lot off of Adelaide with limited parking, I'm glad I did because this was where communication lines broke down. I arrived, found parking and provided the staff my order reference number, my bags of ice were brought out and as I double checked it, it turns out I was not provided with cubed ice I requested, in fact it was regular ice, ideal for regular drinks but not what I ordered and especially not ideal for making specialty cocktails. I brought this up and the staff informed me that this was what I ordered, I showed her my email confirmation which stated the type of ice clearly and the quoted price, and the woman blankly looked at me and insisted that what they had prepared was what I had ordered and if I wanted the other ice I would need to pay an additional fee -seriously? I insisted repeatedly but in the end had to pay the difference to get what I had originally asked for and had been quoted on... not a great experience IMHO. The ice was great quality and made excellent drinks, but the stressful and misleading customer service experience ruined my opinion of this business.

I needed to have medication shipped to rural Quebec (2 days delivery) and it needed to remain cooled at a fridge temp. I called a couple different times and everyone I spoke to was knowledgeable and most importantly able to explain to me a boxing process for what I shipping. They had all the products necessary to do so and did it quite quickly. When FedEx horribly messed up and I had to wait another day to ship my package, they worked with me on repacking the box so it could last the 48 hours. The dry ice was almost gone when opened, but those gel packs were still frozen! Thank you all, my heart was in my throat having to have the medication shipped and remain cooled. Only downside was in order to do all this the box was very large, and barely fit inside of my two vehicle (the medication was in a box smaller than box of kleenex) however, that said I appreciated them understanding the urgency and taking the measures necessary to assure the package arriving appropriately cooled. Highly recommend them for any cooling issue, and should I have a function or need for Ice, dry ice, gel packs, or anything I will definitely come back here.
