Perched on the 6th floor of the Wythe Hotel, this sleek rooftop lounge serves up stunning views of Manhattan complemented by stylish cocktails and a casual vibe.
"In 2021, this property reopened as Bar Blondeau , a French-style wine bar. For some of the best views of the New York City skyline, you have to leave Manhattan. Case in point: the Ides Bar at the Wythe Hotel in Williamsburg. Located on the east side of the East River, this place serves up a view that stretches from the World Trade Center to Midtown and beyond. The bar has soaring floor-to-ceiling windows filling the space with sunlight during the day and providing a glittering backdrop of city lights at night. It's a popular spot and often fills to capacity, but if you get in you can enjoy the signature cocktails along with bar snacks like deviled eggs, salted caramel popcorn, and chips and onion dip. Note: There is a $10 cover on Fridays and Saturdays after 6 p.m."

"Situated on the 6th floor of the retro-industrial Wythe Hotel, The Ides offers views of New York from the East River. The bar features an extensive beer selection, playful snacks like salted caramel popcorn ($6), chips and trout roe ($15) and lobster sandwiches ($18 each). Beloved Brooklyn restaurateur Andrew Tarlow (of Achilles Heel, Diner, and Romans, among others) runs the hotel’s food and beverage program, which means an elegant courtyard dinner at Reynard could easily follow time spent at The Ides." - Marguerite Imbert
A view with a bar or a bar with a view? The place is amazing, with a fantastic view of Manhattan, but the bar makes the option of practically not serving food because it is convened to the restaurant Reynard, also inside The Whyte Hotel, em Williamsburg.

Come for the views, don't expect amazing drinks. The view of Manhattan skyline is definitely what you are paying for. The drinks are ok. Nothing amazing. They are also gratuity free (tip included in price) so although cocktail drinks are 16-18, it's reasonable for a rooftop bar on top of a hotel.

This is a really great spot for drinks with nice views. They had some good beer on tap and was not too crowded on a Thursday night. Perfect for a date.

Great view and relaxed vibes. We had cocktails, which were quite good! However you pay a premium for the view, as the food and drinks are pricey. Good date night spot, but not great for staying long because of the high prices.

Stopped here on a bachelor party and blown away by the service of the staff. They understand how to treat their guests. Gorgeous views and DJ spinning vinyl to boot.

One of the better views from a bar, with nice seating inside and out. It's not a huge place, and can get crowded easily. The view of the midtown skyline is not to be missed though. The drinks were good, but not spectacular and a bit strong. The home made chips with onion dip were amazing though. Pretty nice, especially for a hotel bar.
