The absolute best!! Above board with high-end everything. The attention to detail is unmatched. The personal service is everything you want in luxury stays. Grand but cozy with all the charm of a private oasis. Convenient upscale restaurant on premises with a patio garden and individual fire displays , while soft jazz plays in the background. Wonderful selection of wines. Intimate atmosphere, with an elegant private ambience. Definitely recommend and will be booking again.

Amazing stay! Rooms incredibly comfortable with high end bedding and robes; bar cart with free snacks and fresh ice provided daily; iron & steamer (!!) provided; large bathroom with walk in shower and heated floors (!!); innkeeper was very responsive; excellent on-site restaurant. Breakfast was tasty but menu options were limited; charges for other items like toast ($3/slice!!) and fruit. Would prefer a fruit and main course (different each day) served to all guests, with pastries or bread included.

What a beautiful boutique inn! We stayed for a 3 night anniversary trip and absolutely loved the Inn at Four Eleven York. The Magnolia Suite was wonderful with a very comfortable bed, well stocked bar cart and a large bathroom with two sinks, stand alone bathtub and heated flooring. These touches felt luxurious and made the room special. The included breakfast was delicious and every staff member we spoke to was so friendly. We can't wait to go back 😀

Great boutique hotel in Norfolk. Highly recommend. Customer centric. Comfortable and clean rooms. Kept up to date. Lovely historical Victorian home with a modern flare that is a gem.

For years I’ve traveled to Norfolk and stayed at the Main. My sister suggested 411 and I’m so glad she did. It was absolutely fabulous. Well thought out, first class, extremely comfortable, appointed with great choice throughout, this is my new home away from home when visiting. Norfolk. The owner and staff were gracious and welcoming. I couldn’t have imagined how nice this was but it has set a new standard. Absolutely recommendation!!!

After getting hitched, we decided to swap a honeymoon for an epic staycation that turned out to be the best decision ever! We were absolutely dazzled by this inn's incredible charm and attention to detail. Our room was like something from another planet—out of this world! And as for the restaurant next door, let's just say the food blew our taste buds away. Plus, they treated us to a complimentary breakfast every morning, and we couldn't get enough of it. The owner was the cherry on top—thoughtful, amazing, and just the perfect fit for such a magical place.

Really nice place! We hosted our family and wedding party here when we had our wedding ceremony down the street and had a fantastic experience. The hotel is so charming on its own, but Malia, Hillary, and the rest of the staff really went above and beyond for us to make the weekend a special time. Highly recommend for an event or just a stay!

Yelp
Beautiful Inn. What a treat it was to stay here. This was the final leg of our vacation and it was such a nice way to end the week. On arrival we were greeted by Brianna who showed us to our room and offered us complimentary Prosecco. She also arranged for us to have dinner at their amazing restaurant next door. We had such a fun, peaceful evening. In the morning we enjoyed a delicious breakfast and got back in the road. Thank you to Brianna and Jasmine!!

Yelp
Amazing Inn and amazing staff. If you are ever in Norfolk, you owe yourself a stay at this little gem. The adjacent restaurant is on point- wonderful food and cocktails! We came down for our son's college graduation. We had to be on the road early, so they accommodated our schedule and packed up a hearty breakfast for the road. We will definitely be back! Tina&Terry

Yelp
A grateful thank you from the Hunger and Pena families for a memorable intimate wedding for our two children. Malia McGee, owner of 411 York Boutique Inn and Restaurant, made a special day even more special! Set in the beautiful courtyard nestled between the inn and restaurant, Matthew and Eliana celebrated their lives becoming one with family and friends. It was truly amazing witnessing how much Malia pours her heart into this lovely treasure! With Malia by our side, this whirlwind wedding came together in just 10 days. Her love for what she does - combined with her amazing customer care - made our small ceremony feel romantic, heartfelt, and truly magical. To complete the wedding couple's enchanted night, Malia suggested the Magnolia Suite at the 411 York Inn, an 1890's Victorian she restored with some modern-day conveniences like the luxurious bathroom while honoring the genuine warmth and charm of the 19th Century Era. Thank you for going above and beyond and helping us create lasting memories!

Yelp
What an experience... This was by far an experience we intend to do again. Everything was organized and just wonderfully done. From the moment you reserve all the details are put in motion for your stay. You will get a text reminder of your stay (for the less ocd). As you get closer, they will request your expected ETA in order to be waiting for you when you arrive. Upon pulling up, you will be greeted at the door and I sure as heck couldn't find the source of it, but the entrance smelled uh-maze-ing... The small sitting area to the left with some classic board games was a very nice touch of elegance. We went up to our room and honestly, I loved the simplicity of everything. The little wine/snack area was on point. The cookies, chips, wine, liquor, beer (I ordered an extra package) was just a special way of saying: "welcome, you can decompress now". The details of the stay were thoroughly explained to us by the hostess and she was always available for anything we needed. The bathrooms... oh the bathrooms. Some of y'all may already know this but... heated flooring for bathrooms are the things I never knew I NEEDED (yes need) in my life. Combine that with the raindrop shower head and spacious shower, it was just a thing of beauty. We tied our dinner with the restaurant that is next door. DO THIS. For real, if you go to the inn, make reservations for your dinner there. The two facilities tie together SOOOO well. Our hostess was able to check up on us and the staff give you little specials along the way. I'll do a separate review for the restaurant just know that it's worth it. If you happen to be here during the spring time where the weather will be awesome, I'm jelly b/c the patio area is just gorgeous. (I'm sure we'll be back). After our dinner, we took the smaller back staircase up to our room and blissfully enjoyed relaxing. The bed we had was huge and I seriously can't believe how amazing I slept. Whatever mattress they used there is A+. It's not crazy hot and just snugs up to you wonderfully. Everything was so chill that at one point we were so relaxed that we legit forgot where we were. It was just nice being able to focus on just us. Come morning time frame I'm officially spoiled... I don't even like stepping in the bathroom until the floor is warm (it's a real thing I promise). But yes, you get breakfast/brunch with your stay and we were delighted to be sat down right by the street side to enjoy our mimosa (and pimmosa) while having brunch. Breakfast was delicious (other review), and this was the perfect way to end our wonderful stay. I don't know what you need in life but if you're like us and just needed a way to recharge your batteries and feed your relationship, this is the place to go. We know we'll be back and are so elated that a place like this is so close to us. Thank you!!!!!!!!!! Yelp
What an amazing bed and breakfast to stay at! When you're in Norfolk, there's really no other place to stay. Natalie was the inn keeper and she was fantastic. From the emails and texts that she sent before we arrived to the personalized service during our stay. She was truly outstanding and really helped to make our stay the best it could be. When we arrived she helped me unload and bring our bags upstairs. Then she gave us glasses of prosecco to welcome us to the bed and breakfast. Then she gave us a tour and gave us information about ordering breakfast for the next morning. The room that we chose had an amazingly comfortable bed. The bathroom and shower area was in a separate room and the floors were heated in the bathroom which made it very nice getting out of the shower. The shower itself had three different settings, a handheld shower sprayer, a rain shower from above, and the regular wall shower. You could have easily fit two or maybe three people in that shower! The atmosphere and ambiance of the bed and breakfast were fabulous. In addition to the inside and roomy areas in the room we were in, the breakfast area was very nice and they had an outdoor courtyard with seating on the patio and out in the open. I think some of that was for the restaurant and private parties. This place was so warm and inviting, I will definitely be back. Have a meal in what looks like a fabulous restaurant next door. I can't say enough good things about this place and also Natalie again made our stay so special.

Yelp
I stayed here on the night before and the night of my wedding. What a beautiful experience. The room was cozy and relaxing. It was everything I needed it to be on one of the best days of my life. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. The breakfast in bed the next morning was hands down the best poached egg I've ever had in my life. With all that said I gotta say the highlight was the heated tile floor in the bathroom. I loved my stay here and I look forward to staying here again and recommending it to both my in and out of town friends.

Yelp
Very cozy, clean, and romantic. Both hostess were wonderful and very friendly. They both made sure we were comfortable and satisfied. Will definitely recommend to friends and family. Perfect little getaway.
