How to Experience Tidal Bay, Nova Scotia’s Scenic Coastal Wine Region

"The Inn at Grand Pré is located directly on the Domaine de Grand Pré property and can often accommodate same-day bookings. Recommended to book in advance during the summertime peak season."

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Inn. Super nice and comfortable room with huge bath. Complimentary breakfast brought to room was a plus. The adjoining restaurant had great food. Highly recommend the Zeppole desert. The office staff were friendly and helpful. They offer high quality E-bikes for rent because of all the scenic trails nearby. We rode out through the historic Acadian dykes and farmland for great views of the water and migratory birds. Then took the scenic Harvest Moon trail towards Wolfville with lots of options for wine tasting and lunch on the way. Overall a great stay.

Stayed for 2 nights. |Rooms in the Inn are spacious and beautifully renovated.|Warm and comfortable with very large and luxurious bathroom . |Breakfast was simple and freshly prepared but more than adequate with choice of being served in your room or in the dining room downstairs. |Staff very courteous and friendly. |Real bonus of the property is having a very popular upmarket restaurant just across the courtyard where we ate each evening and lunchtime. the food was excellent, again served by very professional and courteous staff.

Amazing night at the Inn. Beautiful setting. Lovely rooms. Friendly staff. Gorgeous outdoor sitting weather permitting. We did a wine tour followed by dinner at the on site restaurant. So nice to simply walk back to your room with no need to drive. Hiked Cape Split and biked on the Rails to trails. Highly recommend this spot for a night away.

Extremely caring staff and exceptional rooms. Our stay at the Inn was lovely. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and breakfast was a delicious treat. Best scone I’ve had in a long time! The breakfast was heavy on the carbohydrate sides so it you need protein for breakfast, bring a protein shake with you. Everything else was 10/10!

My partner and I stayed for a night and could not have asked for a better experience. Everybody working there was exceptionally kind. Months ahead of my stay when I first booked the front desk staff helped me book reservations for a wine tour and dinner on the winery. When I arrived we were pleasantly greeted and given a tour of the inn and ideas of things to do at the winery, which is very charming. They are also located on the edge of a UNESCO heritage site which was a stunning view from the edge of the vineyard. We were told that we had booked a smaller room, though our room was much bigger than rooms at other hotels we had stayed at on our trip. The bed was very comfortable, air conditioning was great for a part of the country where it can be surprisingly difficult to find decent AC at times, and they even brought us breakfast in bed! I would absolutely stay here again. My partner and I are very excited for our next visit.

My husband and I booked the inn’s wine, stay and getaway package and we had the best time. The room was spectacular, the restaurant was intimate and romantic with fantastic food and the wine was amazing! A special shoutout to Giselle who was so easy to communicate with and who ensured our stay was perfect. We look forward to coming back soon!

My husband and I recently spent two days at the Grand Pre Inn and Winery where we were treated like royalty. Beatrice met us at the front desk and showed us to our bright, spacious room on the second floor. My husband and I slept so well in this room, we decided to buy the same mattress when we got home. The Inn is warm and welcoming, housed in a beautifully renovated turn of the century home, located in a small university town that’s full of historic sites. We visited in winter, but the area is at its scenic best during the summer and fall. We were visiting Nova Scotia for a family reunion and enjoyed a delicious private dinner for eleven guests followed by a delightful surprise party in the winery’s tasting room. The food and wine were fantastic! Beatrice and her husband, our chef, were excellent hosts, they made all of us feel so welcome and cared for. We look forward to returning when the weather is warmer.

I would recommend staying here if ever you get a chance. Located on the property of the winery and restaurant, it's absolutely perfect for a romantic weekend away. Minutes from downtown shops and hiking trails, it's a kind place to base camp from when exploring the area.
