Excellent food, super cool rotating pop up themes, unique drinks (I highly recommend the Carrot Boi!). Small plates, but packed with flavor. We went for the Italian Mafia theme. Baked ziti was excellent, but the Spoumoni Baked Alaska was TO DIE FOR!!! So amazing. I love it here and always look forward to returning.

This was my first time here. Very welcoming staff. Tyler recommended some great mocktails for myself and cocktails for my friend. She also had never been here before. They had a Harry Potter theme going on which was cute. Highly recommend!!

We tried The Iron Gate for the first to check out the Harry Potter themed nights. We were pleasantly surprised. The theme was fun and dim lighting felt warm and cozy. The food was better than we thought we'd find. The drinks were amazing. Speaking from someone who tried half of the cocktail menu that night. Lol. The best was drink was one they have regularly but for the event was called the Lightning Boi. Delicious!! We will definitely be back even though we love an hour away.

They had a Harry Potter theme going on..Place was decorated really cool. Vibes were good, food was good and drinks were good. Our bartender Tyler, was fun and kept the drinks flowing.

We had a fun evening at Iron Gate, we went for their themed Harry Potter event … The place checked a lot of boxes: the decor is really cool, the staff were very nice and welcoming, and the overall vibe felt special and elevated compared to your average bar or casual spot.

Our Iron Gate experience was fantastic. We dined on Halloween which matched the HP theme perfectly. Service team was really great. The broom^2 shrimp, shepards (sic) pie, and drinks were all excellent. Bravo!

As a huge SpongeBob fan growing up, I was excited to try this pop-up that the restaurant put on. I knew it was going to be busy so I made sure to make reservations in advance. We were seated immediately and wowed by all of the decorations. The music playlist was spot on too. Waters were filled for us as we were seated and told our server would be with us shortly. After waiting about 10 mins, finally our server came and took our drink orders. We each got a shot and then shared a cocktail. The shot was super good, couldn't even taste the alcohol in it. The cocktail was very tasty, and not too strong either. After we put our food orders in, they were slowly brought to us one by one by different people. It was a bit upsetting as the plates were sloppily tossed onto the table as they walked away. Half of the restaurant was empty at the time of our reservation but we barely saw our server as she and many others were speed walking back and forth past our table in a hurry. We also had no cutlery or napkins available when we were seated and had to ask for them. The flatbread with feta, arugula, caramelized onions and hot honey was probably our favorite item we ordered. Everything on it came together so well and was tasty. The steak bites were cooked well but had no flavor. We were desperately trying to dip it into what little sauce it came in with the broccoli slaw just to give it some taste. The Krabby Patty was good but nothing out of the ordinary. The menu said it came with an onion gastrique but I couldn't taste it. The meat quality overall through both dishes were great, but not flavorful. We did enjoy the parmesan fries and the chocolate mousse wasn't bad either. Our empty plates kept piling up on our small table as each new dish came out and I was out of water for a majority of our time there. I had to stop our server as she passed us to ask for more water and the bill. Overall the vibes were cool but the food was nothing special and we were not happy with the dining experience

I went for their SpongeBob-themed pop-up. The vibes were fun, but the food… not so much. The burger was dry and overcooked. I asked for medium, but it came out well done. The fries were super thin and dry, so definitely not my favorite. The truffle, on the other hand, was really good, and the customer service was solid. But overall, for me, the food was a no.

My wife and I have been here about 5 4-5 times. It's one of those ho yo places for good cocktails and great restaurant created own style good eats. We ate appetizers and had great drinks. Service was spot on. And the ambience is a dark ceiling, way speak vibe. Although there's no pictures than the sinks we had, I can post. We enjoyed the Ube Thurman mix drink and the Whirlwind of lies mix drink. We also enjoyed the appetizers. Steak Frites, Bang, Bang Shrimp

Went for the Harry Potter pop up event so the review is based off of the experience that I received during that pop up. Ambiance: The decorations were well done and they encompassed the atmosphere of the IP. Definitely was impressed with the decorations and the way the bathroom was also decorated. Food: I ordered the steak bites, and was sadly disappointed. My food came out cold, and the portion sizes were small. The Butterbeer was sad, and did not really taste that great. Price was absolutely sky high for the portion sizes that were dispersed. My friend ordered the churros and pierogi for the table, and both orders were about $14-17 each and each order came with 4 miniature churros and 4 mini pierogis. Service: The service was unfortunately poor during my first experience at Iron Gate Bar. My fiancée has some dietary restrictions and asked the waitress to ask the kitchen to see if they could accommodate and the waitress left to ask. Then our entire table received our food and the waitress said she had forgotten to ask and now would go back to ask again. We did not see her again, until it was time to cash out. Based solely on this experience, I will most likely not visit again during a pop up event.

Great pop up for Christmas and changes throughout the year. This was Christmas Vacation themed when we went but it was Harry Potter prior. Cocktails and apps is what we went for. We were not disappointed. Red Ryder was the best. Atmosphere was fun. Server was very helpful and guided us to some great selections.

Iron Gate is one of the best small plate restaurant/bar! My boyfriend and I go here frequently and have never been disappointed! We order a bunch of different things to share and split and the drinks are way too good. My favorite cocktail is the Carrot Boi. Some favorite plates of ours is the Elote Churros, Bianco flatbread, and the chicken sammy. Although their menu changes we see these items frequently! We made a reservation during the fall to experience the harry potter themed menu and it was amazing! We look forward to every dine in experience here!

Walking in the host was EXTREMELY rude! You are forced to make a reservation as per their website and when we got there still had to wait. Then the host proceeded to sit 2 other groups. The place is very small. Tried to get the wait staffs attention she looked at me and then walked away. Drink are a bit pricey and so is the food

My husband & 2 of our friends drove out to MIS for their Christmas Nite Lites and decided to stop here to check out their Christmas pop up on our way back home. I would definitely recommend reservations because it is a small space, but it is absolutely worth going! Since we made a last minute decision to come here & didn't have a reservation we sat at the bar. The service was fantastic & the food was AMAZING! The tots were crispy on the outside & almost a mashed potato filling on the inside & the bacon jam & crème fraiche were the perfect pairing. My husband had the Das Burger & said it's the best burger he's had in a loooong time. I had the spicy udon noodles with egg & I am STILL thinking about it a whole week later! Our friends ordered the pierogis and steak frites & were raving about their food & drinks as well. Absolutely zero complaints & we will absolutely be back! We are already working on picking a day to go back!

We love Christmas pop-ups and I'd heard great things about The Iron Gate, so despite the fact that I unknowingly made reservations the night of the Lion-Green Bay game, we drove 35 minutes out to Wyandotte to check it out. When we first walked in, I was surprised at how small the place is. No wonder it's so difficult to get a table during their awesome pop-ups! The decorations are fantastic. We showed up a half hour early, but snagged a of couple seats at the bar for a round of cocktails. My husband had the Mele Kalikimaka and I splurged on the Black Magic, served in Santa's sleigh. We were having a great time and the service at the bar was excellent, so we decided to stay there when our table was ready. I asked our fabulous bartender for her recommendation for round two and absolutely loved her pick of the Exterior Illumination. It wasn't like anything I'd ever tried before and that snickerdoodle foam was heavenly! Their food was a really nice surprise. Our favorite of the night was Cousin Eddie's Disco Tots - They were these crispy on the outside and really creamy on the inside "tots" with bacon jam, pimento cheddar, pickled onion and chive creme fraise. We also shared and loved the Butternut Squash Cornbread and Dat Chicken Sammy. This was no ordinary "bar food". We really enjoyed our experience at The IronGate and will definately make the trip again. We were even home in time to catch the majority of the football game!

Iron Gate Bar is fantastic, in every respect. Our server was very attentive and courteous, and the food and drinks were outstanding. The location is ideal as well; it's situated right on Biddle Street in downtown Wyandotte. If you're looking for a classy cocktail bar with great food, you've found it.

This place is great for there theme's for holidays. I have been for Halloween and Christmas and they really put their all into the decorations and what not and the food and very good. I think they need a head chef though because rhe food does not come out together though for instance the last time I was there I order a pot roast dinner and my husband ordered a salmon dinner and he got his food and could have basically finished it and I was still sitting waiting and our server may have had to many table that she couldn't handle and she didn't notice this so she was running around so much I couldn't get her attention to ask her if maybe something happened to my plate. But as I was sitting waiting it was other tables getting partial orders of their meals to. Well anyway besides that it's a great experience and yummy drinks. I worked in food industry for 10 years so I get it can get overwhelming but I believe maybe 1 more server would have help the floor out alot.

Iron Gate has quickly become one of our favorite spots for a date night downriver. We've always experienced delicious drinks, fantastic food, and superb service. The menu evolves with the seasons and this extends to the cocktails as well as the shareable starters, entrees, and desserts. I don't think we've ever ordered the same thing twice and we were also never let down on a single menu choice. We have some clear favorites though so if you get the chance to try these items, you'll see what I'm talking about: Elote Churros, Korean Disco Potatoes, Pierogi, a root vegetable salad I forgot the name of, and so much more... Favorite cocktails for me are the House Old Fashioned, and the Ube Thurman. My husband likes the bitter/earthy flavors and really enjoyed the Unlikely Negroni. The bar is stocked with leveled up ingredients, syrups, garnishes, and alcohol offerings. Parking can be found on the street if you're lucky but there's usually ample parking available in the public lot behind the building.

Went to Iron Gate last night for the Harry Potter event, and it did not disappoint! The themed decor was so fun, creating a cozy and magical setting. The service was great as well. We sat at the bar, and our bartender was friendly, helpful, and attentive, allowing me to switch out my drink for something more to my liking. Our favorite cocktails were the Whining Myrtle and the Life Eater. The elote churros were amazing! Crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, and such good flavor. Mains ordered were the spicy udon noodles and the chicken Sammy, both very tasty. Finished the night off with the Cauldron Cake - chocolatey, crunchy from the toffee, and a perfect end to our meal. This place is an hour drive from us, but I'll definitely be looking for an opportunity to come back. Thanks, Iron Gate, for a wonderful, Harry Potter-filled birthday evening!

We wanted to go out to get a few drinks and we were not disappointed! We came here on a busy Saturday and did not have a reservation, but we were seated at a table within 5 mins. This spot is so trendy and fun! I loved the truffle fries, I would highly recommend. They did not taste like the cheap truffle oil and I really appreciate that. Come here for your fancy date night!

I recently had the misfortune of dining at Iron Gate for their Harry Potter-themed event, and despite the incredible theme, the experience was a complete failure from a customer service perspective. We arrived promptly for our reservation, only to be told that our table was still occupied. Anyone who has been to pop up themes know tables should be advised ahead of time on time limits. When we asked how long the wait would be, the hostess mentioned 10-15 minutes, but this turned into a 50-minute delayed ordeal. Despite an empty bar, we were told we couldn't sit there and had to wait outside in the cold Michigan autumn night--because of their miscalculation. We had driven over 30 minutes for the event, so leaving wasn't an option. During our wait, we saw not one but two large groups without reservations being seated before us. This was a blatant disregard for customers who had planned ahead. When we addressed it with the manager, they blamed it on a "miscommunication" with a hostess who had already left, which was an unacceptable excuse for such poor management. The so-called effort to make it up to us was laughable. The manager asked if we had any allergies, only for us to be served the cheapest appetizer--topped with mushrooms, which the birthday girl was allergic to! And yes, they were advised of the allergy. It was so bad that it felt almost comical and we didn't feel uncomfortable after being served food we were allergic to. We had to advocate for ourselves when we the ones paying and the service was slow despite being served an hour after. We all had work in the morning. From a customer's perspective, this experience was completely unprofessional and unwelcoming despite their efforts to correct it. I had been warned about Wyandotte by friends of color, and now I see why. It's a shame that despite the excellent Harry Potter theme, the service was a glaring failure. This experience will stick with me, and not in a good way. Unfortunately not all spaces are welcoming.

Although we didn't have a reservation, we were seated immediately at the bar. Went here on Saturday night and it was not my first time. When I come here, I usually like to get the elote churros. They are so good. The restaurant is completely decorated with holiday decor. They have some amazing, amazing, holiday inspired cocktails.

We went here on a Saturday night. We didn't have a reservation but were able to grab seats at the bar, next to an infant and its parents. The bar had a tiki theme and the bartenders were knowledgable and able to help me find drinks that weren't super sweet (Quetzal was my favorite of the two I tried). They also have a non-alcoholic drink menu; I had a few drinks from that, too, and they were good and only $6. We ordered 7 appetizers for our group and everything we ordered we enjoyed -- especially the goat cheese flatbread and the elote churros. The truffle fries probably would've been my favorite but we just received a batch that wasn't fresh (they were cold), but they were perfectly seasoned. The chicken meatballs were basic but good, but came with 3 very small meatballs and were also cold; they were one of the only protein-forward/lighter options on the menu. It would be great if they also had a deviled egg option that didn't have lobster in it Overall, it was decent atmosphere and parking was easy. From what I understand, this kind of cocktail-forward bar is pretty unique for the area, so it's popular. You'll definitely want to make a reservation if you want a table on a weekend.

This has to be the best place that ever happened to the City Of Wyandotte. We eat here often. We tell everyone about it. We also took our Doberman for his first birthday for daycare and they made him the most delicious meal. It was unbelievable and we will be customers here forever.

Not sure what happened here, but the food had definitely gone downhill with their new menu. $40 for steak frites and it was hard to eat. Must have been a skirt steak because it was so chewy. Not what I would expect for that price. Fries were way over cooked and the "truffle fries" has barely any seasoning. Have had good experiences here before, but this was a very disappointing meal.

My friend and I drove over an hour to enjoy the Harry Potter themed pop up bar. We both come from the restaurant industry and are extremely understanding when it comes to the busy life that comes along with it. However, the bartenders showed their exhaustion and frustration on their faces. We were even told by the (visiting) manager bartender from another location that they all were done and over it basically. It definitely dampened our experience. They did not crack a smile once. The attentiveness was not there. The food was amazing and decor definitely did not disappoint. I guess my suggestion would be to ensure the staff is up for that busy lifestyle. We will give it another try for Christmas.

We decided to stop by after our not so great dinner at another location establishment . We were grateful and impressed with the small plate and cocktails we ordered! Loved the perigees and craft cocktails. A very classy romantic place! Would be perfect for a rainy day or late night. There is some patio seating. It was not super busy, we sat at the bar and the bartender was attentive. Clean bathrooms with feminine products available, and never ending toilet paper! Love it! Would absolutely come back for more!

This place is pretty freaking cool. Decor is fancy. They do have the instagrammable signs and interesting wallpaper. Drink menu is fancy. Food menu is small but has a variety. I got a burger with a salad. The burger was delicious with pickles and a special sauce. To be honest, I am super glad I got the salad it was the best part of the meal. It's their rocket green salad. Had a tangy dressing not iceberg lettuce and had some sprinkle of crumbled cheese. Really good. The vodka drink was fantastic. Wasn't overly sweet. Carrot and ginger blend was good. I tried some of their cherries and it was luxardo adjacent but called filthy black cherries. Will come again. Friendly staff and impressive decor with tasty upscale food and drinks.

Came in for the first time for holiday pop-up! Made a reservation for Tuesday night just in case. Food was absolutely delicious. A bit pricy for the portion size but absolutely delicious. The drinks were fun and festive! Service was good but not great. Was a little disappointed that the crispy skin salmon was served with beets instead of puffed rice, as was listed on the menu. Loved the holiday decor, green velvet booths, it was fun!

We were in town visiting our son for the art fair. This place has a great vibe. The cocktails were good as well as the food. Despite it being rather busy our server was very attentive. Can't wait to return.

The Iron Gate establishment opened in August 2021. Downriver needed a craft cocktail & tapas spot, we were very excited to squeeze in on a busy Saturday night! The ambiance was upscale and inviting. The decor was cozy and modern. The tables were quaint and perfect for cocktails and appetizers. Our tasty drinks were delivered by our friendly, upbeat sever. Everyone was satisfied with the quality of the craft cocktails. We opted to come back for tapas another night. The Iron Gate was jam packed, we figured it would be easier to enjoy during the week. We can't wait to come back!

I absolutely love how cute this bar is inside. It's my favorite thing about it. The food is very good. They have an interesting menu for a bar. Not your typical bar food. My favorites are the firecracker shrimp and bacon wrapped dates. They have lots of interesting and delicious cocktails. My only thing that keeps this bar from 4 stars is the staff is not overly friendly. One time we were there one guy was straight up rude and unwelcoming. The worst I've ever experienced anywhere. I didn't go there for almost a year after that. I started to go back because I did like everything else about the bar.

I met my BFF here for our annual Christmas dinner. We were excited to try this new establishment after hearing rave reviews. It's located right off Biddle along the main strip in downtown Wyandotte. I made reservations and I'm happy I did because it was very busy. We were warmly greeted by our hostess and seated in a cozy booth. She then promptly told us that we had an hour and a half time limit due to all the reservations that they had. We didn't appreciate that, but proceeded to look over the menus. We ordered the pow pow shrimp, crispy potatoes and pierogis to share. We also each ordered a drink from their cool drink menu and they were both really good. Unfortunately, I can't remember the names. The food is delicious! The atmosphere is very welcoming and cozy. They did a great job with the Christmas decor. We will definitely return!

Best restaurant in Metro Detroit! The food, cocktails, and service are always 10/10. Loveee the ambiance of their current pop-up event! If you have the chance to snag a reservation or make it on the waitlist, you should absolutely go check it out!

As our night was coming to an end we decided we wanted to try one more place. So glad we did! We sat at the bar where our bartender was able to give us his recommendations on drinks and a late night snack. That's a long drive home. Snacks are essential! We chose our last drinks of the evening, and then ordered some bacon wrapped dates. I had never had a date before so this was new to me. The sweet, salty and succulent treat was an amazing combination. Someone knew what they were doing there. The cocktails were perfectly prepared, and the atmosphere was a perfect way to end the evening. We both would recommend this place and will be back next time we come down to Wayndotte! Check it out!

Iron Gate definitely has something good going on. I don't frequent this part of the metro area often but this was a really nice spot! It's sort of a tapas neighborhood bar spot but it's definitely not bar food. Beef Wellington was the special for the night but I tried the dumplings (pork and shrimp), the bang bang shrimp, and the burger. My companion had the Delmonico steak frites. All of the food items were very well executed. We tried the polar vortex drink which was good and I had a very well made old fashioned. The steak frites was the only item that I'd say was super expensive. Everything else was well priced. If you're in the Wyandotte area, this is definitely a visit for good food and drinks at the right prices. Wyandotte is lucky to have this place!

Disclaimers we went on tiki Christmas night. So there was a lot of music and a lot of Christmas lights. It seems interesting but a bit off. Plenty of seating and the service staff was very attentive. We didn't eat. They had lots of drink options and seasonal drink menus. They also had a 5 course food and potentially drink pairing. The only think I didn't care for was the pricing didn't seem to fit the ambiance. For a very well lit venue with borderline loud Christmas and tiki music, the beer bottles were like 4-7 and mixed drinks 13-15. Apps 12-15 and plates 15-25ish. I estimated the prices but I'd say $$$ prices, 5 star service and an ambiance somewhere in between.

Wow! Wow! Wow! Stopped here for a craft cocktail. Decided to try the Eternal Sour. Absolutely outstanding! In fact, I will go on record to say that it is truly the best craft cocktail that I have ever had. The ingredients in all the craft cocktails are extremely well thought out. And they even have an extensive mocktail offering that is also well constructed; not an afterthought at this establishment. To say that the owner Troy has done an exceptional job is an understatement. I did not try the food, but it looks amazing! And sleek, clean, and relaxing surroundings. Cannot wait to revisit with my wife to grab some dinner.

I was extremely impressed with Iron Gate Bar. I'm not from the area, but I was visiting a friend and my friend wanted a cocktail, but due to health problems I can't have alcohol currently. After some googling, we decided to try out Iron Gate Bar because I saw that they had mocktails online. I was so surprised when we walked in. I didn't expect to find such a cute, hip spot in Wyandotte. The big emerald green booths and fun colorful wallpaper caught my eye and made me fall in love with this place. My friend was able to get two cocktails and I had my mocktail - The Grapefruit Julep which was absolutely delicious and made me feel included by being served in a glass with garnish that to unassuming bystanders made it look like an actual cocktail. I'm really appreciate of this. We had already eaten dinner that evening, but after browsing the food menu we decided we have to come back another time and try some of the delicious sounding options. We weren't planning on having dessert, but the menu convinced me to try the baked Alaska. I had wanted to try baked Alaska since I was a kid, but never saw it on a menu before and was too lazy to make it at home so I jumped at the chance. I was not disappointed. It was amazing. My friend had the sticky cake and I tried some - it was also so good! I can't wait to return and try more! Thanks for making this a welcoming and inclusive environment for all.

Both of our drinks were poured from a tap. The only thing the bartender did was add a rim and garnish. The drinks made for a good Instagram picture but there's something about a handmade cocktail that feels higher quality. The place was absolutely adorable though. Very cute decor!

Went back to try the Iron Gate again. We had an extremely friendly server but extremely slow as well. 10 minutes for our drink and then probably 10 minutes with nothing to drink at all during the meal. Carrots were very good but different from the first time we were there along with the meatballs. Dumplings were great. Churros were decent. Overall, 3.5? They were busy but maybe an off might or bar/kitchen was over run? 4 items and we were still kind of hungry after too. Might try again based on the first time we ate here.

The decor was all decked out for Christmas probably one of the nicest decorated bars I've ever seen. It was absolutely stunning. Great atmosphere! I loved my old fashioned and the mezcal drink on tap was phenomenal. I definitely will be back for the drinks and atmosphere. However, the food was a disappointment. I've heard nothing but good things about it so I'm just hoping we had an off night. The tapas were very expensive for downriver. The bang bang shrimp had potential but it was cold- server told us it's the most popular dish. The burger I was so excited to try it but again cold and extremely pricey. The fries were good and warm/ crispy. The cheese flat bread was the worst thing Ever. I don't know how that thing made it on their menu and I think it was 11 dollars for literally pita with cheese. I only ordered it because of the Yelp pictures everything looked so good and unfortunatly it was not. I'm bummed about the food. But I will say , the mezcal drink they had on tap I'd be back just for that.

I had an absolutely terrible experience at Iron Gate Bar. I made a reservation for my birthday dinner specifically to experience there Harry Potter themed decor and menu. This has nothing to do with my experience at the restaurant, but I just put my uncle to rest 5 days before and was truly looking forward to this experience to commune with my friends in a fun environment. We arrive promptly and I am informed by the hostess that our reserved table was not ready, we need to wait an additional 10-15 minutes, and that we could not sit at the bar which had a row of empty seats but had to wait outside in the dark in the cold Michigan Autumn weather. I am still not too bothered by this because I truly want to have a good time and stuff happens. We sit outside and wait talking and huddling together to keep warm. The hostess or a waitress comes outside a few times and we ask if our table is ready each time only to be told they will check on it, the people at the table are still lingering, the people at the table got the check, and so on and so on until we had been waiting outside for more than 45 minutes. We then see a party larger than ours go inside and we think surely they will be turned right around and be joining us out here only to see them move into the restaurant. We get up to see what is going on because even if that group had a reservation it was either an hour after our reservation or they were extremely late which either way still shouldn't result in them being seated before our group. It turns out groups were being seated before us who did not have a reservation. When we asked to speak to a manager we receive various excuses from it was an Ipad error to the hostess thought you were sitting outside (even though we repeatedly asked the hostess when she came outside if our table was ready), to the hostess left and we were unaware you were still outside although the hostess at the stand was the same person we kept checking in with to ask about the status of our table. Finally, we get seated at "the table" which they had failed to clean off until we started speaking with the manager. I decided to put everything behind me and enjoy the rest of the evening. The manager and waitress came over asked us if we had any allergies and offered free appetizers for our inconvenience. I and another member of our group tell them our food allergies and settle in to pick the other items we want to order. The complimentary appetizers chosen by the manager are ones that I the birthday girl am allergic to ( there were plenty of other items on the appetizer menu that they could of chosen including the same type of appetizer but just without the allergen) they did finally bring me the churros which were good but the portion size was tiny. Our food then proceeded to come out in a haphazard fashion and when served was lukewarm at best. Overall the experience was extremely disappointing. I cannot see myself ever returning.

Throwback atmosphere, reminiscent of an old speakeasy. Excellent drink menu, and excellent seasonal appetizers. Small, but good, entree menu. I recommend the bacon wrapped dates & an old-fashioned drink.

Went back during the Fall Menu and we were blown away! Music, atmosphere, and service were all 10/10. Expect to enjoy a romantic, fun evening at this upscale restaurant! We enjoyed sitting at the bar watching all of the drinks be made too! Expect to wait a tiny bit for food, but I promise it's worth the wait - you can tell it's made with thoughtfulness and is delicious! Will be back soon :)

So glad this spot opened in Downtown Wyandotte. Small plates, good cocktails, great service, and a damn good chef. I've been here a few times and the food is always good, but my favorite thing has been the Elote Churros. Cilantro lime crema, chili spice, + cotija. Points for creativity and flavor, these babies are super unique. The corn mixture is stuffed inside the churro and it's delicious! This savory spin on this sweet dessert was well done. If you haven't been to the Iron Gate, check it out. Not overly priced and always busy. On my first visit, the chef knew I didn't eat meat and he made me special vegan pork and ginger dumplings that were amazing. Such outstanding customer service you don't get at many places around here anymore.

Service was excellent tonight! Morgan, Autumn, and Nolan were so knowledgeable and recommended some stellar cocktails. Would definitely recommend trying the highly suspect and whirlwind of lies. Will definitely be returning! Downriver needs the Iron Gate!

Came in off the street hoping for a grand time. Was told that I would need to be out of the table because it was reserved at 7pm. It was 5pm upon arrival. Service was quick and food was good. Don't really feel warm and cozy here. Nice decoration for the holiday too. I had the pierogi and it was good , not bad for a small plate order..

Nice! Good quality drinks, original presentation and composition. The appetizers were generous- definitely shareable. Tasty! The place is comfortable enough to hang out with friends while enjoying some unique drinks, with or without alcohol.

Fantastic spot in Downtown Wyandotte! Very swanky and nice layout inside! The drinks and food have a nice creative twist. Depending on the time you decide to go like a Saturday evening, I would make a reservation, as it can get busy and is a small place. You may luck out and have spots available at the bar! This is definitely the place I will come back to again in Wyandotte!

I cannot WAIT to come back here. I'm from Livonia but, we have nowhere with good craft cocktails. Plymouth is meh so, we go to Detroit every week for the best food and drinks. My friends live by this place and it's honestly SO good. Very comparable to what I like about bars and restaurants in Detroit. Love the decor in this place. The bartenders were super sweet. I've got a date planned next month to meet with friends here again. I'm definitely looking forward to it!

Great hospitality and delicious drinks! I can't wait to try the food menu, but I highly recommend the Delores O! I really loved the music (some chill house remixes) and the vibe was very laid back but still a little posh. Reasonable prices and a simple but killer menu. Will edit when I try the food
