The Italian Bakery - Review - Walthamstow - London - The Infatuation
"At The Italian Bakery, there are no queues, there’s no hype, and it doesn’t serve the best Italian food or pizza in London. But that's kind of what's great about this Walthamstow spot. It’s just a warm, friendly neighbourhood restaurant where we pop in for some TLC and bubbling lasagne after a bad day. Children nibble at crisp pepperoni slices, walking sticks are propped up next to seats outside, and the pleasingly chewy Neapolitan-style pies are delivered and dispatched quickly. Our go-to order is a salsiccia and friarielli pizza, a bottle of bitter Sicilian chinotto, and a Nutella cannoli for later. And by later, we mean the bus ride home." - Sinéad Cranna
