I recently dined at The Italian Job and was impressed by the overall experience. The ambiance is warm and inviting, perfect for a casual meal or a special occasion. The menu offers a delightful variety of classic Italian dishes, and the service was attentive and friendly. While the food was good, I found some dishes to be a bit on the bland side. However, the fresh ingredients and generous portions made up for it. I appreciated the authentic flavors and the homemade pasta. With a few tweaks to enhance the seasoning, this place could easily reach its full potential. Overall, I enjoyed my meal and look forward to returning for another taste of their delicious offerings!

Mmm.. the staff were nice and appropriate. The cost of the pizza and portion size makes sense, inexpensive, and the crust had a nice crunch to it. However, it wasn’t fresh, which means the cheese was dried/hard. To avoid wasting it, I forced myself to eat it. Based on the customer service, I would give them another chance!

Google
Located inside legacy hall for pizza options good place to go. They have some limited basic options of pizza to pick from. Pizza is served based on slice which is already prepared. Place your order they will reheat and give. Since a busy place your pizza would be fresh. They have Sicilian option and slice option. Go for slice one as its thin crust. Sicilian has a thick crust and not much filling.

THE ITALIAN JOB at Legacy Hall deserves a five-star rating! It’s home to the best pizza I’ve ever had. I tried the Meat Lovers deep dish and the cheese pizza—both were phenomenal. The workers are super funny and cool, making the experience even better. The best part is that the stand actually has a place to eat your pizza, so you don't have to walk around aimlessly looking for seating. 5 stars all the way!

Google
First time trying this place and we weren't disappointed. Staff pointed out the size of slice of pizza provided which told us to get a salad each and split the pizza slice. Good choice. The salads were very generous for the price. And 1/2 of pizza slice was plenty. Fast service since we were only customers at time. Worth another trip when in the mood for pizza at Food Hall.

Google
The pizza was ok. My accomplice said it tasted like "Sam's club pizza" not sure if that's a good or a bad thing. We got the whole meat lovers pizza which is about 6 slices for $30. If you buy per slice it's $7. It tasted fine to me, but I probably wouldn't buy again. The pizza did come in a big white box with plenty of cheese and pepper packets.

Google
I visited the Italian Job restaurant yesterday. I bought one slice of the CBR, pepperoni, and truffle pizza. The pizza is very delicious but the price per slice definitely lowers my overall rating. Would highly recommend to buy a whole pizza instead of buying once slice at a time. It’s not the best pizza but it’s definitely better than your typical franchise pizza. Pepperoni and truffle were my favorite. Would have given a 4/5 but the price for your portion counteracts my review. Overall 3 stars Would recommend to try at least once

Google
One of the places I tried at Legacy Food Hall. The truffle fries tasted good but was a bit soggy for my liking. The attendant was courteous. As everything in the food hall, it is open seating and just has an overall “I wanna eat here” kind of vibe.

Yelp
Shared a meat lover slice and the fried mozzarella balls! The pizza was okay. I loved the mozzarella balls though! They were crispy and easy to share.

Yelp
Just had an amazing dinner at Italian jobs! The ambience is so cozy and charming, Perfect for a night out. I tried their homemade pizza and it's was absolutely delicious! the flavors was spot on, and the service was super friendly . If you're craving authentic Italian food, this place is a MUST- VISIT !

Yelp
Service was great! Grabbed a slice and a beer. Really fast to-go pizzas are huge! Love this pace right next to really nice bar to grab a drink while you wait! Love it here!

Michael S.

Yelp
Pizza was decent but it was very oily and dripped oil on my shirt when I picked it up off the plate. I dabbed it off with a few paper napkins and ate it. The pizza definitely looked good and was somewhat tasty with the addition of some chili flakes. I didn't care for the aftertaste from the oil and would not go back to for another slice. I felt the lady that heated up the pizza didn't want to be working that evening. I spoke to her and thanked her when she handed me the slice but no smile or personality. The manager/ guy that took my order was seen scratching himself under his shirt while standing at the register which I felt was very unsanitary and off putting. I did really like the scooter mounted on the wall and enjoyed the seating and service that the staff for the food hall provided.

Yelp
Good pizza. Large! I can't say anything bad about service because I grabbed this to go. Very large slices. The sauce is missing some ingredients that only a true Italian would add. It wasn't a NY Italian flavored slice but they gave it a shot. I'd compare this pizza to mall pizza.

Yelp
Surprised to see this place in Legacy Hall after not visiting for a couple years. Pizza is always a good idea, even more so when its a slice so I ventured here for a bite. I got the truffle mushroom pizza. It came out ridiculously quick and was appealing to my sense but I needed just a little more since it left me hungry. Prices are pretty reasonable too so good spot to stop at when you need a light bite.

Jasmine T.

Yelp
Pros: - Service is quick even on the busy day I visited. - The slices are huge. Cons: - The pizza is just not good at all. The dough was dry and had no flavor, and the cheese taste like heavy salt. The pepperoni tasted like the off-brand version at Walmart. I was disappointed but, it's a food court so I didn't expect much.

Tahlia Z.

Yelp
The dumbest people work here. Don't order delivery from them. Places an order. Simple most basic order. They managed to screw up each dish.

Miette T.

Yelp
Cold pizza and extremely rude service. I came later in the evening an hour before closing and it clear the girl who took my order was ready for closing time and didn't want to help me. She looked annoyed when I ordered their already sliced pizza and she simply had to heat it up. She did not greet it even say a word to me before or after I ordered my pizza. I wish I didn't give her a tip because she literally just wrung my order up and blew me off while she grumpily started doing whatever she needed to close. The pizza was awfully cold and I wish I would have went anywhere else. The cheese wasn't even melted. Do not go an hour or two before closing. Stay clear away from the rude cashier girl.

Calvin D.

Yelp
So I decided to come back here that same night and my experience was the COMPLETE opposite from my afternoon run. Most of the workers didn't acknowledge there was a a couple of people waiting to order and had to wait for a young lady (the nicest one that night) to come and take our orders. One worker (skinny white guy kinda long hair) who was putting the pizza in the oven to heat it up had NO GLOVES ON while handling the pizzas. He was also literally throwing food around like it didn't matter and didn't give a second thought about it. I ordered at around 11:30 PM; I'm guessing they were over it and ready to leave. I understand working late isn't the most fun thing to do BUT you WORK there so you have to do it correctly. I was super annoyed at how bad service was that night

Stacey A.

Yelp
While they had plenty of pizza I opted for the Alfredo. Nice size bowl and it was pretty good. Good customer service.

Erin H.

Yelp
The pasta and Caesar salad are great for food court caliber dining. Especially the Caesar. Come here if you Love Parmesan as they are Uber liberal on both the pastas and the Caesar. Worth a try for certain!

Annony M.

Yelp
The best Sicilian pizza this side of Brooklyn, NY! I grew up in Brooklyn spoiled with great pizza. "The Italian Job" in Legacy Hall in Plano makes THE best Sicilian pizza I've had in TX. My favorite is the all meat variety. It's absolutely delicious. I love the perfect crunch and crispy, cheesy edges. I highly recommend!

Bobby D.

Yelp
I didn't actually eat here. The pizza looked old and dried out. They had place a fresh pizza in the oven. I asked how long out would he before that pizza was ready. I was told that they had to sell the old dried up pizza before I could purchase the fresh one.

David C.

Yelp
Stopped by at this location to grab some quick food and received a burnt pizza the dough was so dry out, The crust was hard Very disappointing!

Sara G.

Yelp
They serve big slices individually, great for when you don't know what to choose, they Cesar salad us great!

Beryl D.

Yelp
The pasta came out fast and it was delicious! I got the Cacio E Pepe. The staff was super nice. Can't wait to try the next dish.

Elsa J.

Yelp
Amazing pasta that comes with the al dente bite that everyone keeps talking about. I got the Con Pollo e Pesto which includes a creamy pesto pasta sauce that really sticks to the pasta. Not a lot of chicken, but it does come with a warm crusty piece of bread. I'm really happy that Plano jumped on the fast casual pasta train! Their menu is kept really simple, but each pasta dish substantially varies in flavor and overall look. Since it's located in legacy hall, all the way in the corner on the first floor to be exact, the experience is self service. They give you a buzzer to take with you after ordering, so that you don't have to stand and stare while they prepare it. I do wish that the pasta is served in a bowl like the pictures, since there is something about holding a warm bowl of pasta. The legacy food hall is like a mall food court, everything is served in a take about container. The perfect solution for last minute lunch or dinner ideas. Perfect pasta on the go!

Alena S.

Yelp
Really wanted to love this place and was their first customer last Sunday. First impressions are everything and the fact that I was the only one at the counter and no one ever greeted me is disappointing. There were 5 people working including one that appeared to be either owner or manager. I stood there and looked at the menu, decided on eggplant Parmesan and had to make eye contact with someone to ask if I could order. Then I waited, and waited... My husband ordered hand pulled noodles at the Korean place next to it. He had gotten his order and finished it before my buzzer ever went off. I really hoped the food would redeem everything but sadly, no. The portion size was fine but the dish was so heavily salted. And I'm a saltoholic. I always salt my food. So when I say something is too salty, believe it. At least a cookie from Susie Cake's saved the day!

L W.

Yelp
Pizza super greasy. Re-heat upon order. Not very fresh. Did not work for me. May visit again and try the pasta dishes instead.

Jay S.

Yelp
Other than the cool name, there's nothing too impressive here. The fresh pasta doesn't really taste any better or different than a dried pasta. The pesto cream sauce was above average but the Alfredo wasn't very good. The chicken was shaved very thin (a la corner bakery) and was sparse. On the brighter side, despite appearing small, the overall pasta portion is fair for the price and we didn't have to wait more than five minutes for the food to be ready. The cashier and other workers seemed less than thrilled to be there. Maybe hiring a cashier with a bubbly personality wouldn't hurt.

Yelp
A small group of us attended a concert in the beer garden of Legacy Hall. I decided to order a pizza from The Italian Job through their online portal. There are no servers or delivery options available, you must pickup all orders at their store front. I made my selection then went to check out & noticed the price was significantly higher. I had to back out of this screen to review the charges and found they had automatically inserted a 20% tip to the order. That's just sneaky, so I changed it to zero. I picked up the pizza & shared it with the people at my table. The pizza was nothing special, but it did turn everyone's stomach that ate it.

David B.

Yelp
I ordered a large sausage and onion pizza for pick up on 12/18/21. Their pizzas at the store they use for slices are perfectly round. My 18" pizza was partially oblong, and didn't fit into box, and thus two of the slice were folded up towards the crust, in order to fit in the box. I get it home, and I ate a slice and the crust was dry, and not particularly flavorful. I tried a second slice, but after a couple of bites it was the same. My roommate finished a slice, but we both agreed the pizza wasn't particularly good, so the rest of the pizza, over half, was thrown out. This was my first time getting a pizza from them, and likely my last.

Catrina S.

Yelp
We have eaten here numerous times and it is fantastic every time! The pasta is PHENOMENAL. On a cold evening it is the perfect meal! Will keep coming back!

Morgan P.

Yelp
Super impressed with how fresh this pasta is and how affordable it is! You can literally watch the pasta drop out of the machine while you wait! I got the alfredo and it was SO good. Highly recommend.

Vianca R.

Yelp
Last time I came their chicken fettuccine Alfredo was delicious. This time I came to try the spaghetti marinara with meatballs and I'm a little disappointed. To anyone else the taste probably wouldn't be bad; but for a pasta fiend like myself, I've tasted better marinara -- quite frankly it almost tastes like the sauce they serve you at Sbarro locations or when you order from a pizza place. The meatballs would disintegrate before I took a bite out of them which idk if some people like that but for my personal taste I don't. It seems like pizza is definitely their main thing here which is cool either way, but I refrained from trying the pizza today just because I saw like two flies land on top of two different pies as I waited to make my pasta order (which kinda grossed me out). And the pizza slices look old and cold, which I'm unsure I would like to be served a reheated slice if I were to order one anyway...I give them 4 stars because of the alfredo, which I do recommend trying. Hopefully in the future I can try the pizza (when there are no flies around) I give them four stars instead of three just because you can't beat the price and portion of the pasta. The pastas are all made from scratch which is awesome and good portions for being between $6-9 (depending on if you get protein or not).

Don C.

Yelp
Not a lot of good flavor. Expensive. Order not correct. No bread or cheese with the pasta. There's much better Italian food elsewhere.

Ashley W.

Yelp
The best tasting pasta I've had in a long time! Ordered Pollo e Pesto and a Peach Fresca and it was so good! The quality and taste of the pasta was amazing. They also give you a large amount of pasta for the price. I was only able to eat about 1/4th of it and I took the rest home to eat laster on in the night. The Peach Fresca tasted fresh and high quality as well. I will be back to try the other pastas on the menu. YUM.

Marie T.

Yelp
This is a pretty legit addition to the Legacy Food Hall lineup. It's a fairly simple concept for pasta, but the quality is excellent. While I was still working at Legacy West, I've been here a few times to try their pasta, which include spaghetti with meat sauce, cacio e pepe, lasagna, and the chicken pesto pasta. The pasta is made onsite and it is a fresh is it can be. Usually they have their fresh pasta on display and ready for the next order. My favorites have been the spaghetti and meat sauce as well as the cacio e pepe. The pasta comes in a fairly small brown box container which is kind of similar to Chinese take out boxes. It may seem like a small portion from the box, but it actually packs a lot. Along with the pasta is a small toasted garlic bread, which is great to eat with the pasta. The pricing is great as well, with most pastas averaging around $8-10. Overall, this is a solid spot for fast casual yet delicious pasta. I'll make sure to return for more whenever I return to Legacy Food Hall. Enjoy!

Jordan N.

Yelp
Great pizza and quick service. My kids enjoy it too. In the many times I've eaten at Italian Job, only one bad experience which caused me to leave a negative review. I've updated my review to reflect my overall impression rather than that one instance.

Victor D.

Yelp
I went to have the famous bolognese, the pictures are totally lies, first their site says bolognese is 8 bucks with tagliatelle, but is 9 with spaghetti, also no plates, is a small Chinese style box with past up to half only. Taste was really good, great work ok the quality of the pasta and sauce, terrible work on presentation, portion size where you charge for a full meal but serve just the first course. Forgot to take pictures to put here. Be aware of the huge difference on the photos and what you will get, also on the menu.

rosario j.

Yelp
Wow!!! Fine dining at a fast food price. I loved the fresh made pasta! I got #3, the mozzarella basil pesto pasta in red sauce which comes with complimentary focaccia. Very filling and only $7. Simply delicious! I've had less filling Italian meals at quadruple the price in DFW. Cooked Al dente - just the way I like it.

Chris N.

Yelp
While legacy hall has tons of options that have come and gone. This may be the best place yet. The pasta is delicious and made in house. The sauce was excellent on the #4 and #7. While the portion might look small coming in the brown box it definitely is enough for one. The price is very reasonable especially when you consider other similar Italian joints who make there own pasta are considerably more expensive than what we paid for our meal.

Andrew N.

Yelp
Be careful when ordering the pizza. I'm always very particular when feeding my kids, so I always look to make sure the food is fresh, it looked fairly new so I ordered the cheese pizza. I come back to pick up my order and the pizza that I thought I ordered from hadn't been touched. One slice was so hard it was not even edible. The pizza they decided to reheat was not in the display, and when I looked to see where they got it from, it looked like the food had been sitting drying out all day. Extremely disappointed that a food place would operate this way. There are plenty of other places. Don't go here.

RockinIan121 J.

Yelp
My mother ordered from this restaurant and their food was worse than School food. The quality of food was not worth the 60 dollars for four items (and delivery) and was overall just not at all good. The size proportion for their large, was small, almost like they got a bad quality microwave lunch and gave that out, and even then, I'd rather eat microwaved lunches. This restaurant is very disappointing and I was hoping for more. If they gave larger proportions and better food for the money their asking you pay, then it'd be way better. Sadly, it'd be better off getting Taco Bell, McDonald's, Wendy's, ETC

Kaitlyn L.

Yelp
This place is bomb, everything I've had here is delicious. Food is fresh, service is fast, flavors are well balanced. Anything with their pesto is delicious. Highly recommend.

Chell P.

Yelp
I was waiting for about 15 minutes before another customer, that placed their order after me, asked if they were making me a whole pizza in which I replied no. I was only getting two slices of pepperoni. & we started talking about how long it was taking. They stated their cheese pizza was sitting on the rack the whole time but no one sliced it & gave it to them. Meanwhile, I walked over to ask how much longer it would take & that's when she realized mine had been in the oven that whole time & they were burnt to a crisp. Of course, those happened to be the last two slices. Two employees were talking by the register, one was scraping dough off of a cutting board with a knife & the other one was throwing food at the other two employees. Super annoyed & frustrated, I asked for my money back.

Jonathan C.

Yelp
Loved the sauce. Great flavor in the bolognese. The tagliatelle was a hair overdone, but great for the price point and venue. Will definitely return to try the rest of the menu.

Grace J.

Yelp
I did not actually eat here, however, while waiting for food next to The Italian Job, I watched all of the employees touch the food with their bare hands. The employees were literally using their phones, and then touching the food right after. I was so disgusted, that I was moved to write this review to warn future guests of this nastiness. Do not come here!!!

Priscila D.

Yelp
We love the food here, and we love it even more now that they added the zoodles option. We miss the eggplant parmesan they had when we first came in since it was the best we had had in the DFW. It is the only reason we came back a second time. The zoodles was a great add though.
