Moved in very recently, and must say this building has some of the best, most responsive, positive, and helpful management I’ve ever seen! They take all your inquiries very seriously and urgently. Management and leasing are very reasonable and approachable.
Some things to note about the building:
- Mailboxes have been fully set up recently and ready to go
- Amenities spaces are awesome, there is a brand new half basketball court
- Penthouse terrace looks amazing, both during the day and night, you get a clear birds-eye view of Queens, Brooklyn, Downtown, although parts of Midtown are blocked off by some buildings in front. But nevertheless, still amazing and refreshing views!
- Elevator speed is actually quite reasonable despite hearing otherwise elsewhere
- Trash rooms are very nicely located away from any apartments and there are no smells. The apartment floors almost feel like a hotel!
Some things to note about the rooms:
- Very spacious rooms with floor to ceiling windows. If you get the corner units, you will have penthouse-like sweeping views which are amazing both daytime and nighttime.
- There are induction stovetops so you need pans and pots that support induction heating, which you can buy downstairs nearby. My old pans didn’t work so I had a great excuse to buy new ones. The upside is that induction stovetops are very easy to clean.
- The AC is not loud and very quiet compared to other buildings. Be careful though, as it can get very cold or hot very quickly
- Be careful with opening windows for an extended period of time on the upper levels; there are no bug nets on the windows (which give you better views), but the downside is there are tons of lantern flies (invasive bug species in NY) lurking around and might pop in. I’ve had a few come in recently
- The bathroom is extremely spacious with lots of room to store all your creams, bottles, toothpaste, etc. It also comes with heated flooring, although I haven’t had a chance to try it during the summer
