The rooms here looked fancy and the bathroom is a very nice and large sized - there are both shower stand and bathtub. The beds are nice, but the room we got only has 1 tall narrow window so we didn't get as good a view. The room didn't have a mini fridge, and we also had trouble finding where to tune the AC. The skyway system is also a bit wonky given that they're kinda in a corner. Overall I had a good stay.

Very nice hotel I didn't get to stay in a nice room because they're booked which probably says something about the hotel were sold out 3 nights in a row during a traditionally slow weekend. My room was 374 after taxes. Bar downstairs in basement is nice and appeals to a younger professional crowd. Drinks are in the 12-15 range for cocktails beers are 9. The accommodations are meh for a 4 star and starting to show wear and tear. The people working are doing their best.

Excellent service all the way around. A definite step up from standard hotel chains. Rooms are beautifully appointed with very comfortable beds. The bathroom had a glass steam shower and separate full size jacuzzi tub. The patio at Monello is a great place to relax with a drink and the bar Constantine serves great cocktails in a dark, candlelit space reminiscent of medieval castle.

Loved the room, loved the hotel, HATED the parking experience. The night I arrived the valet was slammed so my husband and I decided to self park in one of the many paid lots around the hotel. After checking with the girl at the front desk to make sure we were in one of the hotel approved lots, we parked in one behind the hotel that advertised 24hr parking that we had to download an app and enter all our info to use— which we did. However we were only permitted to stay six hours on the app. Assuming it was an app glitch I woke up at 6am to go downstairs and ask the front desk for help, they said I could park in another lot or valet. I was annoyed but since it wasn’t their fault the app wasn’t working I bundled up and moved my car and brought it around to valet. I waited, and waited and waited but no one showed up despite the sign advertising it as 24hr service. Finally I asked the front desk who was informed no one was available at the moment and to just park out front and leave my keys in exchange for a number. In the end I was so tired I did that even though I didn’t love the idea of leaving my car out there. The gist of my review is this, if they don’t have good parking options around the hotel that’s fine, but have a killer valet service. I didn’t love getting up at 6am after a late work night to try find a way to park my car. Needs some work on their service from that perspective!

I got a few drinks at Constantine Bar in the lower part of the hotel. The atmosphere was really cool and chic. The drinks were really good, and the selection was top notch! I would recommend to anyone looking for a unique place to throw a few back.

We stayed at IVY apartments and believe me it was spacious. It was like a studio apartment with all furniture (5 seater sofa and dining table including). We stayed for 3 weeks, all the amenities were provided (Washing machine with dryer, tv, cutlery, cleaning agents, vaccum cleaner). It was a pleasant stay. And 20 min drive from International Airport.

We visited The Ivy and ate at Monello. The food and service were excellent. The salmon tart was generously sized and delicious. The steak sandwich was very good, and the chocolate budino that I ordered for dessert was decadent. Everyone in our party enjoyed the experience.

Everything was good, the room, the service, the food, and the drinks. There's no microwave in the room. Bell man took the bags 3/4 of a block to our rides parking spot and loaded them in the car for us.

Yelp
This is my second time staying here and both times have been absolutely wonderful! You can either do valet for a pretty penny(it's downtown, what do ya expect haha) or you can self park across the street, which is way cheaper!! The front desk staff were amazing! Very friendly and we got cold water bottles to start, which was an unexpected but great surprise! We were on the 17th floor! Loved the views! My boyfriend and I drank wine and enjoyed the night views before dinner. The room was very comfortable! The bed was soft yet firm and the pillows were feather. It just had a luxurious feel to it! The tv in the room was huge! There is a minibar but of course it's expensive! There was a shower with a rainfall shower head, as well as a large soaking tub! Felt so good! All of the complimentary products smelled amazing! There are food/ bar options on the property. I have heard good things about them! We opted to go to Stock and Bond which is about a mile away and was VERY GOOD! While we were at dinner, someone brought up a chilled bottle of prosecco and small dessert. There was also a card of my boyfriend's birthday! A very welcome touch! This place does have breakfast you can order to your room! Or lunch, dinner, snacks, depending on the time of day. The menu looks great! This is a beautiful and clean property! Everyone was very friendly and I would happily stay here again!

Yelp
I had such a great experience at Hotel Ivy. First, the front desk service is outstanding - truly top notch. When checking in, they asked us if we were here for a special occasion and upon learning that it was a girls night getaway, they provided us with BOGO app and drink coupons to the 2 restaurants onsite. They also suggested a few dishes to try. When we returned to our room after a show at the Orpheum, we found a bottle of bubbly with a handwritten note on the table!! It was such a kind gesture and so so thoughtful. I've never experienced something like that before - usually it's a birthday or anniversary where this type of stuff happens so we were thrilled the front desk would provide such a gift for friends simply getting together. We had dinner at Breva Bar (on the first floor) and loved the food. One tip - if the Minnesota Orchestra is having an event (close proximity), there will likely be a rush of diners beforehand and service can be tough/limited due to restaurant capacity. We experienced it first hand and had to wait a long time for food. But once the orchestra crowd cleared, it was prompt service. Another tip - do not skip the burrata & apple starter. It was so good we ordered it TWICE. Our room was on a high floor with views of downtown. The real star is though is the bed. I've stayed at Marriott properties before (Ivy is part of the Marriott family) but none of them compares to a Hotel Ivy bed. There's a reason this is a luxury hotel because this is a luxurious bed. Fun fact: Marriott actually sells these beds online and the prices are crazy expensive. There was complimentary coffee in the lobby the next morning. We enjoyed a simple but filling breakfast at the hotel bar before concluding our short 1 night but very memorable stay. So glad I got to experience Hotel Ivy, the beautiful ambiance, and stellar service. If I feel like spoiling myself again for another girls get together, I'm coming back here.
google avatar

Bob A.

Yelp
I've come here a number of times just to dine at Breva, which I love, but I've actually stayed a night here now and I think it's a pleasant upscale hotel. My room was clean and had a unique design that I liked. Super comfortable bed. In addition to Breva, there's a cool bar downstairs that serves Mexican-influenced food & drink. Breakfast was served in the bar area near the front desk, though. All three of these dining areas are cool places to spend time. Between my breakfast, a couple of drinks/snacks downstairs, and the times I've been to Breva, I can definitely comment positively on the service in the food-serving areas. Their espresso machine wasn't working when I was there, though, and I was less impressed by the people I interacted with outside the bars & restaurants. (They goofed up my valet parking and I had to wait quite a long time to get my car back.) There is also a spa on the second floor with a large number of offerings, in addition to their fitness center. I also noticed an event going on in a fun spot - they closed off the Skyway over 11th Street and were having a party in there, never seen that before! Also there is a cigar lounge called Thor that looked nice, but I don't like cigar smoke, but no one was in there, but whatever. Prices for incidental purchases such as minibar items and spa services seemed high. I don't know if it's appropriate to associate the word "luxury" with this hotel, but it definitely is a significant step up from what you get at a mass-market hotel chain.
google avatar

Kayla K.

Yelp
This is the most stunning, chic space with the most wonderful vibe. We attended the grand opening of THOR Cigar Lounge at Hotel Ivy and cannot recommend enough spending some time here with friends or a significant other and enjoying a smoke, or just taking in the atmosphere! Bar Edera is also right next door in the hotel and has the best food, downstairs you can find a tequila speakeasy too at Masa Agave! So much fun and various energy/vibes all housed in one gorgeous space!

Yelp
We are on tour and we're staying in budget hotels every night. We decided to splurge on this place to celebrate.. Sadly disappointed. When you charge this much for a room and get better service at a Best Western, ya got a problem.. Room was nice. Tiny fridge not cold. Took over an hour to get an extra pillow, and the person who brought it was rude. The Masa & Agave restaurant downstairs was awesome. 5 stars. Alex was our server and he was great. Breakfast service in the lobby restaurant was non-existent. Severely understaffed. One server at breakfast rush. Took over 30 mins to get cappuccinos. Even longer for food. There should have been 2 or even 3 servers during breakfast shift. Front desk very nice! Servers were nice too but everyone felt bad for them.. As Im typing this review our server (the bartender) just came over to tell us our breakfast order was given to the wrong table and they had to remake it, which wasn't a surprise because I saw the server bring the wrong food to at least 4 other tables. I am trying really hard not to bring my review down to a 1... The place is nice! Lots of internal problems though... yikes. ...Update.. food just arrived and it was wrong. Still delicious though! Silver lining! DOUBLE UPDATE.. Alex from the restaurant just clocked in, and he has been awesome. Review has gone back up to a 3 from a 2.

Yelp
Stayed here recently for a staycation Shared a double room because the price for one night dt is ridiculous!! It was a nice room but no view, concierge forgot to send up free Prosecco for the bday celebration The Anda spa didn't mention the quartz spa was closed for a private event- Breva bar and grill for breakfast was not great - see my review Masa and Agave was the best part of this hotel stay- see review Location is fine but we had to Uber back and forth to north loop area I do think overpriced for what you are getting here ,compared to other cities and other hotels - no coffee pot in room either ! Disappointing

Yelp
Amenities were hurting. Two elevators for 19 floors. One elevator was out of service. Here for a tournament, so several additional guests with extremely long line and extremely slow elevator. Not hot water for our shower at 3:30pm on a Saturday afternoon.
google avatar

Yelp
I stayed here for my birthday staycation this year. It's an average hotel, but not nearly as fancy as it tries to pretend it is. Hotel staff is friendly, but nothing above average expectations. My SIL told them it was my birthday, and they said they would send a bottle of prosecco to the room, but it never arrived. The beds are comfortable, with a good balance of squishy and support, and the sheets were nice. The bathroom was the highlight with deep tub and separate shower. Complimentary robes were a nice touch.

Jovanna A.

Yelp
A very cozzy and beautiful hotel, Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Super easy and close to restaurants and bars. It has an amazing Spa that is found it excellent!

Stefanie E.

Yelp
Less than 0 stars. Watch your bill when you leave! I was charged for valet when I didn't have a car on the trip. I called and they said they would reverse the charge. That never happend and when I disputed the charge with my CC, they came back that the hotel would not reverse the charge. Would have totally recommended this hotel otherwise but now will tell people to go elsewhere.
google avatar

Hutch C.

Yelp
Ehh, totally average for the price. What kind of hotel doesn't have a single bar/restaurant with a , room service took so long I abandoned it

Yelp
We had an excellent experience at Hotel Ivy during our recent stay! We were greeted and checked in by an exceptionally friendly front desk staff member. The lobby is stunning with a great little bar area near the check in desks, an attached restaurant, a full day spa on the second floor, and a whiskey lounge on the lower level. We got upgraded to a suite with a rain shower and bathtub. Their bathroom amenities were top notch: even a handheld scrubber and bath salts were provided! Only strange thing was that the bathroom had large French doors that were a bit wonky to close. Robes and slippers were included, and we found the bed and bedding comfy cozy. Highly recommend!

Yelp
I spent three nights at the Hotel Ivy in January 2023 for a work meeting. The hotel is an upscale Marriott property. The lobby is bright and the staff are welcoming and courteous. This property offers a lobby bar, a downstairs speakeasy styled evening bar, and an Italian restaurant where breakfast is also served. The bed in the rooms is very comfortable. The water pressure was also good. The room I stayed in felt very dark, I never felt like I was able to get just the right amount of light. One of the bulbs in the bathroom light fixture went out on several occasions. It was a nice hotel and experience for what it was, however at the price point if it was my money I would have gone with another option.

Yelp
Quality: 3 Decor: 3 Service: 3 Stayed here for 3 nights in February. Overall, pretty average hotel and probably worse than most other Luxury Collection hotels I've stayed at. They did not have Byredo products until requested from the front desk, and the room was pretty average. Not much of a view, and the service at the restaurant was awful. Front desk service was pretty good, and they have valet.

Robin N.

Yelp
Wonderful Service, we celebrated our 34 wedding anniversary on March 28th and visited the Anda Spa for a couples massage! Highly recommended

Yelp
Very disappointing! Had it not been for Amex FHR and using points I would be even more upset. I would have given 1 star had it not been for the nice lady at the spa- check in. The hotel itself is beautiful and very clean, I like that. Let's start with pulling up and there is absolutely no service whatsoever to help you with your bags. The lazy valet guy casually walks over and says nothing. Since I'm not into paying the outrageous cost, I decide to self park across the street. The people at the front desk are nice and helpful, but again nobody attends to your bags. Fast forward to the room. It's clean, nicely decorated and overall charming. Here's where more complaints start. The toilet is literally 1 foot off the ground. Definitely not Ada approved. The shower is nicely done in stone tiles but there is no water pressure. Same thing with the sink, no water pressure. Speaking of the sink, there aren't even any cups to rinse your mouth, place your toothbrush, nothing. What is there you ask? A giant sign that says you'll be charged $50 if you take any bottle of the products. In the end, stay at the holiday inn and save your $, then you won't be disappointed. Fast forward to the next day and we're down to 1.5 stars. The hotel is tremendously understaffed and you're never going to get your food or drinks at the restaurant. It's really not fair to the server- yes singular as there is only one.

Yelp
We had an exceptional experience here. High quality hotel at an affordable price. Every staff member we interacted with was exceptional, everything was beautiful, and the location was nice (connected to skywalk). They loaned us out bikes for free everyday, which saved us money and time. I would love to come back and highly recommend staying here.

Vee B.

Yelp
This hotel is marvelous. Even when I don't have time to partake in the beautiful spa, everything is perfect- and if there is a problem- it is fixed in moments. The rooms are sparkling and the views are stellar. From the smiling guest services reps to the valet drivers, to the concierge staff- everyone goes above and beyond to make the stay special. I have stayed here many times over the years and will definitely be back again. 10/10 recommend!

Yelp
Went for restaurant week, a lot of dishes had an up charge which wasn't shown online. Our entrees came out 2minutes after we got our appetizers so we had no time to finish the first course. After our table was cleared and ordered dessert, it took over 30 minutes to be told one of the desserts was sold out. We were given an extremely dry lava cake that seemed microwaved as a substitute we didn't ask for. Hot honey chicken wings were great, craft cocktails are very good. Little Gem Caesar salad was good but too big as an appetizer. Short ribs were very good as well, shrimp scampi was extremely dry and tasted like it had been left in an oven for 10 minutes after it was plated. Server was nice but timing of dishes and quality of half the dishes is not worth what they charge.

Yelp
Had one night away from the kids and we wanted it to count. We picked the Hotel Ivy because of the reviews and loyalty to Starwood Brand. The lobby is nice, the location is bust but the valet parking makes it a snap. The bar downstairs and on the main level are hopping and we had some great drinks in both locations. Our room was fantastic, spacious, full tub, walk in shower, with the bedroom separated by the layout. The bed was comfy and we hit so many of the local establishments, the area is why Minneapolis is so fun. It's not cheap but worth every penny! We will be back
google avatar

Will K.

Yelp
Just a wonderful hotel. Very elegant. Very relaxing atmosphere and very friendly, helpful staff. I've stayed here 3 times now and I love Byron at the front desk who remembered my name. Kayla on the desk was very helpful with items I needed printed and had a super disposition. The rooms/bathrooms are gorgeous and the "Monello breakfast" was fantastic.
google avatar

Todd B.

Yelp
During a business trip, I had the pleasure to stay here. The rooms were ample, updated, and modern. The conference rooms were comfortable and well looked after. The food provided by catering was delicious and on point. Should my travels bring me back to Minneapolis, which I hope they do (never really thought I would say that), I will stay here.
google avatar

Terry E.

Yelp
I had flight that got canceled so I thought I'd try a new hotel. This is a really great one! The room was beautiful and super clean. I had a really great view. The staff was wonderful. Room service was delicious.... I'd def stay here again!
google avatar

Mikayla K.

Yelp
I recently had a reservation with Hotel Ivy but canceled it when my friend was feeling sick to be safe. I was informed in my initial reservation email and online that I could cancel up until the day before and receive a full refund. However, after I canceled I never got a refund so I called the hotel for an update. I spoke with four different hotel employees before I got this resolved. Each of them was unbelievably rude and told me that I wasn't eligible for a refund and that there was no flexible cancellation policy offered by Marriott. Despite telling each of them that I had an email which specifically outlined the flexible cancellation policy as well as Marriott's flexible cancellation policy outlined on their website, they continued to shut me down. The customer service was absolutely appalling. This has absolutely turned me off from the entire Marriott company.

Matthew M.

Yelp
Very nice hotel and staff. The food at the restaurant is amazing as well. The gym is basically a workout club, free weights, machines, great equipment... One of my favorite to stay at in Minneapolis.
google avatar

Trish W.

Yelp
Kia & Kiara were so wonderful and welcoming at the Ivy Hotel bar. They both were gracious, kind, generous and attentive. Kia made the best espresso martini of my life. They did not have to be as kind as they were and made this out of towner welcome and comfortable while cared for in a genuine midwestern way.
google avatar

Amiee L.

Yelp
We have been staying here while we are Minneapolis for work and it seems to get better & better. Best thing still.....free coffee/tea with your wake up call! 2nd best thing the big soaking tubs and the bath salts they put out!!

Heather A.

Yelp
For a "boutique" hotel the experience was no better than a motel. My room did not have a fitted sheet on the bed. Yuck. Just a flat sheet thrown over a mattress. We had a block of 5 rooms and only 3 were ready and hour after check in time. No one at the front desk was apologetic or helpful. No bag service. Definitely not a winning attitude from staff.

David L.

Yelp
Very nice staff. Hotel looks to have been renovated but seems outdated especially for a Fine Hotels registered property. We were upgraded to a suite, but it was just ok. The room was expensive for what we paid as were the breakfast ($75 for 2 omelets, coffee, bacon and pancake) and $54 for valet parking for 1 night. There was no ambiance. Unless you need to be in this location and are on an expense account, I'd recommend alternative options.
google avatar

Alicia O.

Yelp
The boy and I stayed here after his summer at Carleton. Overall, I was so impressed by the lux. The check-in process was quick and efficient. The staff was helpful and friendly, very accommodating and attentive. Our room was cozy and comfortable. The window was small but the view of the city was nice. We slept amazingly in the plush beds. The bathroom was a great medium size with a powerful shower and a deep tub. I was so happy the water actually got hot. I hate taking lukewarm showers at hotels. I could have stayed in that shower and that deep tub for hours! We even got Lush bath bombs to enjoy during our weekend. We had one issue with the toilet which was fixed quickly while we were out. I was happy to have Netflix which is a great updated feature for a lot of hotels. The wifi wasn't as fast as I'd like but we did get to watch a couple shows while staying. I wish I could have taken advantage of the spa. Everything is right there in the hotel. The restaurant also looked fancy and nice. This is a treat location for a lot of self-care while in Minneapolis. I was very happy with my stay and would highly recommend.

Yelp
Second time here Rooms are kind of dark with very small windows. Giant tv and nice bathrooms. Suites are large. 1008 is really dark though As of 1/23/19 the gym and spa is closed. Temporary area on floor three totally sucks. Ask for access to the Hilton until the reopen this summer at The Ivy
google avatar

Risa D.

Yelp
The reason for just 3 stars is paid wifi. It is insane to charge guests who fork out hundreds of dollars for your hotel 14$ per night for wifi. Insane, rude, crazy. Aside from that, I loved this hotel. I loved my room, the big firm bed with awesome sheets, the huge super comfy bathtub, the incredible view, everything immaculately clean and every interaction with the staff kind, friendly and super accommodating. I also loved the location, I was able to walk to awesome food, the beautiful riverside, etc. Great hotel. Make the internet free and I'll throw all the stars at you because aside from that you deserve it.
google avatar

Garrett O.

Yelp
First stay at Hotel Ivy was good but not great. Given the price you pay for a "luxury" facility, I was surprised to hear they don't offer much in terms of amenities. Most basic SPG properties provide complimentary breakfast to platinum members, but I was disappointed at their lack of such a welcome gift. In addition, there was no lounge or club area, happy hour, etc. Overall, no major issues. Yet nothing stood out to me.
google avatar

Emily V.

Yelp
Pros: very helpful and accommodating staff, Constantine's is awesome, incredible gym, beautiful room. Cons: $100 for parking for a $900+ stay was a little much, didn't care for Monello's menu, the spa (my boyfriend and I both did the $380 package) didn't "wow" us. For just a few dollars under $1,000 it didn't quite have the "awe" factor for me. Also, their website for booking the service was incredibly misleading. The description of the package starts with "we invite couples to step away..." which you'd think would imply it's a couples package, but no, it's just for one person. I will definitely give them props for squeezing both of us in for a couples massage, and our masseuses were very professional and awesome. Steph was mine, I can't remember the other girl's name but they were great. All in all, I just wasn't blown away by our room or the decor. It just didn't feel quite worth it to us, I guess. Our mattress was firm, the bedding felt cheap (one of our duvets was ripped upon arrival). Although it was nice getaway in a nice location with nice services on site. It was just that, though: nice; not amazing, not incredible, and certainly not what you'd expect for $2,500 for parking, eating, spa, and room. We had a good weekend, but probably won't return and will opt for something a different.

Yelp
I recently started flying to Mpls monthly to meet with a marketing agency in the warehouse district. I typically stay at Le Meridien because I'm an elite Starwood member and I enjoy walking to/from the office. On my most recent trip, the Le Meridien was sold out, so a colleague told me to stay at Hotel Ivy because it was in Block E and also within walking distance. After booking my stay and seeing the 11th Street address on my reservation, I knew I was directed to the wrong hotel. I called the Hotel Ivy and explained my mistake, and asked that they allow me to move my reservation to the Westin so I would be within walking distance of the office. They stated "we never return money" and that they had no interest in my reservation moving to another SPG hotel because they were independently owned. Having just finished explaining that I'm a long-standing elite SPG member, and that I travel to Mpls MONTHLY, I told them their firm stance was very short-sighted. At arrival, I walked over to my bed to turn the light on and suddenly both of my feet were soaking wet. I called the Front Desk and first thing guy says is "we're completely sold out so we can't move you." SO WHY DID THEY INSIST I KEEP MY RESERVATION IF THEY WERE FULL?? Maintenance guy comes up and says "what did you do?" I tell him I just checked in and he lays a bath towel over the huge wet area, says "that should do it" and leaves. This place is terrible.

Yelp
Just stayed here for a Birthday "staycation" with the hubbster last weekend. We are SPG members and were able to score a super low rate online which put me in an good mood off the bat. The room was a little smaller than I expected but very well appointed as people are fond of saying in hotel reviews. I wondered if the room was on the smaller side due to that good rate but it appears to have been the regular size at least from what I can tell from the pics on yelp. The wardrobe was set up in such a manner that it formed sort of a hallway and divider to the space which we thought was a smart use of space. Important: the bed was plush (a must for me) and there were lovely soaps and of course, bathrobes. They had also left us cookies and a special birthday dessert, some kind of flourless chocolate heaven with raspberries. Our stay was extremely pleasant. I spent the entire day in the spa (separate review to come). TIP: if you must park, use the lot across the street. We paid $5! for the entire night. I compare all my hotel stays to my honeymoon stay at the Four Seasons Aviara in San Diego (now actually no longer a Four Season - boo...). The only negative side to the stay was that reception could have been better - at both the hotel and the spa, actually. Overall great hotel, beautiful lobby and a lovely time enjoying my home city.

Ali B.

Yelp
This review is specifically for Brooke at the front desk. She was extremely courteous and helpful and helped me in a bind as I had forgotten to pack some things. She was super sweet! On the hotel itself it was disappointing there was no sauna or jacuzzi (additional $50 pass) for the price you're paying already for the room.
google avatar

Dawn D.

Yelp
We celebrated our anniversary at the Ivy Hotel and spa. We had a great weekend. We found the staff to be very attentive and interested in ensuring a great experience. Breakfast - we enjoyed the smoked salmon, omelette and eggs Benedict. We also ordered sides of fresh fruit and fingerling potatoes. All was prepared perfectly and delicious. Spa - we opted for the couples retreat. All services were outstanding, but we especially loved the instructor for the partners yoga and the massages were spot on! Dinner - we opted for the chef tasting menu. All of the food was served perfectly. I would have preferred two more bites of everything. We also enjoyed the hot tub and sauna available as spa and hotel guests. If you're considering a weekend away at Ivy hotel. We would highly recommend it!

Yelp
Overall, the Ivy wasn't just a very nice place to sleep and get ready. It was a good experience in and of itself and I really appreciated that. It has a really terrific gym, big tub, quality products (a nice hairdryer as well!), and fun loungey bar downstairs. They had a DJ doing hip hop. We did the $25 day spa passes and it was definitely worth it to me -- super relaxing jacuzzi tub, heated ceramic lounge chairs, coed and locker room saunas, and waterfall showers. The ambiance is warm and dim.

Yelp
This hotel saved my relationship. My bf and I had stayed at another hotel the night before, and had such a terrible time with no sleep that we were both on edge. Luckily, the Hotel Ivy had rooms available and we hightailed it over there. Believe me, what a difference it made!! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and got us into a room right away. On top of that, the rooms were gorgeous.... and most importantly, quiet. :) We immediately felt so comfortable and relaxed in our beautiful room that our mood shifted and we were once again at peace. Once we soaked in the luxury, we went out, enjoyed the town, even had a drink at the cocktail bar downstairs, which was incredibly boisterous and fun! I would 100% recommend staying here, and plan on returning for our next trip to Minneapolis.

Yelp
I did not stay at the hotel but I went there for "Tea at the Ivy" which is their high tea service. While the food they serve is from the kitchen of Porter & Frye the actual tea is held in the lobby area of the hotel. The service is offered daily from 3-5 pm and you can choose from a variety of Harney & Sons premium loose-leaf teas. I choose the classic earl grey and while it may be considered a boring choice by some, I thought it was delicious. But high teas isn't just about the tea it's all about great conversation while enjoying savory and sweet treats and the chef did not disappoint! For only $15 we each got a pot of tea and 7 different little finger foods that were all fabulous. The savory selection that day was chicken meatballs with an apricot filling, a mushroom puff pastry and a crustini. For the sweet there was a apricot samsosa shaped thing, a hazelnut and chocolate filled cookie, another cookie and a raspberry and chocolate cake. It was great to be able in indulge but not feel guilty about it because the portion sizes where small. I've had high tea elsewhere for triple the price and received way less quantity and quality of food. This is by far the best quality food at a high tea I've ever been to and definitely the best price. Perfect for a girl's afternoon out or even a mother's day treat!

Yelp
The nicest hotel in Minneapolis. I was looking for the best hotel in Minneapolis for my wedding night and settled on Hotel Ivy after considering other hotels like Lowes, The W and The Grand Hotel. The service at the Ivy was absolutely top notch, from the valet, to the front desk, the restaurant, the spa, and room service. I travel to major US cities fairly regularly for work, and usually stay in decent (4-star) hotels. While I've found slightly nicer rooms in Chicago, LA and Dallas, I've never found significantly better service than at the Ivy. The room itself was plenty nice, with a great bed, and curtains which easily blocked out almost all outside light. The room was also quiet and spacious. The bathroom was also nice, with a deep tub and a nice separate shower. While a room isn't cheap, I was pleasantly surprised to find that prices for the mini-bar, restaurant, etc. were not outrageous. The workout room was very nice, with a Peleton and a free yoga class in a separate studio. It was roomy and had good equipment too. While I've never stayed at the W or Grand Hotel, I did stay at Lowes a couple of days later, and while Lowes was nice, Ivy is clearly a notch above. Highly recommend!

Yelp
The only thing luxurious about this hotel is the price. I paid $379 for a ine night stay standard room on a Saturday. The rooms were clean. However, there was no concierge. The staff was less than helpful. There was little choice on the food menus. To top it off, to start my morning, there was basic coffee with half and half. Even a Hampton inn has flavored creamer. I will not be booking here again.

Yelp
Love love love this hotel. By the way, I am not the kind of person who settles for low standards when it comes to my traveling sleeping arrangements. The Super 8 Motel is not even in my vocabulary. The Hotel Ivy is the best hotel I have had the pleasure of staying in in Minneapolis. They take great care of their guests, have fantastic arrangements, and their spa is phenomenal. If you are in Minneapolis, do NOT settle for anything less. The Hotel Ivy has it all, and it is within walking distance of many of Minneapolis' great restaurants, nightlife, and tourist attractions.

Yelp
Worth it especially for the company at the bar! Kia and Kiara are incredible bartenders - friendly, helpful, and highly skilled. I've stayed here 3 times and can say that they're the best in the place. I always recommend a drink at this hotel just to socialize with these two great people!

Yelp
We had torn towels and a broken light bulb in the bathroom. The bed was ok and they didn't change our bedclothes given that we had preordered the service of changing them everyday. The stain was there with us for at least two days. Also not impressed by the birthday cake, which was very small (my boyfriend ordered a medium size) and it tasted no better than its look...

Yelp
I'm REALLY picky when it comes to hotels. It's already strange to sleep in a bed that a million other people, of whom I never met, have slept in so cleanliness is an absolute necessity as is newness. This place is very clean and updated. The bedding was fresh, new, white and fluffy. I have nothing bad at all to report about this place. Bonus: has a Keurig in each room, had a blow drier, great view of the city, beautiful decor and awesome TV!!

Yelp
Hotel Ivy is the most luxurious hotel and spa we have in Minneapolis! The atmosphere from the minute you walk in is welcoming, calming, and you truly feel important. The valet staff is always available immediately and when you are getting spa services done, it's complimentary! It's such a perk being downtown and not having to look for parking. They have a super chill lobby bar to hang out at, and the spa is tucked away on a floor up. The spa lobby is unreal and so picturesque (literally take a picture in the lobby in the cute corner nook). They have snacks, supplements and champagne in the lobby area, along with local (and some not) wellness goodies to shop for yourself or gift a special someone. The nail salon is also out near the lobby and incredible gym (Peleton's, stair masters, and weights, private studio!) so you can have a more lively experience away from the zen of the spa behind closed doors. I've always gone to the spa for massage, because it's what I need most, but I get so much more out of the experience. It's truly a day (or night) spa that allows you to unwind and relax before an/or after a service. No one is ever trying to rush you out. I always utilize all the amenities! They have a coed Hydrotherapy cove with a large heated sauna bath (swimsuits required!), experiential showers, and saunas. In the locker rooms there are showers and my favorite...the steam room! If you want the ultimate quiet, there is an aura room that you can take a nap under a gravity blanket, meditate, or just enjoy peace and quiet. I will be spending my 35th birthday at Hotel Ivy and Anda spa next week, and I am so excited for the couples massage with my husband. They even have a soaking tub in it's own room, which is next level luxurious! I can't recommend Hotel Ivy or Anda Spa enough. You will not find a hotel/spa combination with all the amenities like it anywhere in the metro area. So if you are looking to invest in your self-care or have a getaway with your girlfriends or significant other, they will deliver!
