I had the pleasure of spending an evening at The Jazz Club at Aman New York, and it was nothing short of exceptional. I went with a friend, and from the moment we walked in, we were immersed in an atmosphere that effortlessly blends sophistication with the charm of a classic speakeasy. The live jazz performance was phenomenal — rich, soulful, and perfectly curated to complement the elegant yet relaxed setting. The ambiance truly stands out, creating a space where music, conversation, and refined indulgence come together seamlessly. The food and beverage selection was excellent. Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious, prepared with great attention to detail and flavor. That said, I would recommend slightly expanding the menu and increasing portion sizes to better match the overall experience — but quality-wise, everything was truly top-tier. A special note of appreciation to the lady who served us — I believe her name was Loo, from Brazil — she was incredibly warm, attentive, and professional, adding a personal touch that made our evening even more enjoyable. The Jazz Club is undoubtedly a place I would recommend. Whether you’re a local or visiting the city, it’s a perfect spot for a memorable night out. I suggest reaching out to the host in advance to secure an invitation, as it’s a popular venue and reservations are essential.

The private "members only" club is beautiful and sophisticated. If you're not a member, you can only get in by invitation from a member. The 5 member Jazz band belts out some of the greatest music. The service is excellent and everything that Aman is known for.

Such a lovely night spent with friends with an amazing set. Superb ambience with a speakeasy feel as you go through a labyrinth of pipes and generic walls. Service was impeccable. We reserved via email which was answered promptly. Kudos to the sommelier for the great wine recommendation. Just get your fill ahead or after as you’re meant to enjoy the music with some sips more vs. having a sit down meal and treating jazz as background music (no no no). We had fun and would love to come back soon!

Coming here was an exceptional experience. Welcoming staff. Discrete location. Exclusive vibes. Coat check. Amazing cocktails. This is definitely a place you want to come to. The band was Amazing. They had great energy and incredible talent. The food was tasty as well… my favorite was the tuna rolls and crudite. No complaints at all. I would definitely come back and I highly recommend.

Absolutely love this spot. I don’t drink and was pleased to find four options for cocktails. I had the Jenna. Loved it. Brian Newman was incredible. The staff were all so kind and attentive. Classic old New York vibes. I will be back regularly

Man I reeeeally wanted to love this place. Lot's of amazing things but one big negative. First, the service is amazing. We had issues with our table, and they were accommodating and let us table hop to find the perfect spot. The drinks were the best I've had in NYC and for over $30 a drink, they better be. The talent? Unmatched. One of the best NYC Jazz shows I've seen. The big negative? THE VOLUME LEVEL. OMG blast your eardrums, melt your brain, SO unnecessarily loud. And it really doesn't have to be because the space is small and there's no "bad" seats. You can hear the band wherever you sit. The volume continued to be an issue during the 30-min intermission when the DJ took over and started BLASTING club music. Like...why? This is the time to eat, drink, and talk. But instead we're YELLING over the bass. We ended up waiting in the cold hallway during the intermission, letting our drinks melt and our food get cold, because we couldn't hear anything. Will we be back? Maybe, but only with ear plugs.

Cozy jazz bar at the hotel. The entrance is on 56th street and there is one guy standing outside the black door. The performance last night was amazing with Christmas themed. Loved it dearly . Only complaint was that poor crowd control. People were standing near the bar and chit chatting. It blocked some of the tables. They should have better arrangements and crowd controls. The drinks were expensive yet not impressive.

Came late after the jazz performance, So I cannot speak to that. However, as a cocktail bar/lounge itself, it has a long way to go. The drinks are very expensive. That is a given. However, they were not really that good in my opinion. I got one of the summer, seasonal cocktails off the venue, and it was extremely sweet, it didn't feel like they added much alcohol. Also, we had multiple wait staff because it was so empty. (it was a Tuesday night). And they didn't communicate with one another, so there was a mistake on our bill. It got fixed eventually, but it was such a hassle, and honestly expected more attention to detail from a place of this caliber. In terms of ambience, the clientele was reasonably snooty, not very social, and a bit odd. I guess that is what is to be expected on a random weekday night. However, I would probably not come back, and definitely would not advise to bring any coworkers or colleagues here even though it is right near All the offices. It would be a disaster!

The staff and venue here are amazing. You'll need to email to get a reservation if you're not a member through the website. The only other review at this time is from Angel, and she lays it out pretty well. You'll want to enter on 56th street, even though the hotel entrance is on 57th. There is a doorman with a list. We got seats at the bar for $35. The band on 11/29/24 was exceptional. Thanks to the management and staff for hosting us. Shout outs to: Anna, Jesse, Rob, and Gin.
