"The name isn’t an empty affectation—this restaurant actually happens to be one of the South’s best jazz clubs . Accordingly, tables are arranged in rows, so that diners can better keep up with the music, and portraits of the greats line the walls; otherwise, there's little to distract from the show. Diners are mostly music fans, though there are a few foodies sprinkled in—the menu rightfully represents New Orleans , the birthplace of jazz, with a spicy gumbo and a Bourbon Street shrimp (popcorn-style, and served with alligator sausage). The food alone is enough of a reason to come, but the bonus of being serenaded by world-class jazz performances makes it a must-try for visiting music fans." - Paul Oswell

We went with some friends to see a jazz show. For me, the stake was overcooked. The side dishes were 2 carrot halves, 2 asparagus stalks and 5 fingerling potato halves. A tablespoon of some sort of grave. For the cost I would expect a better quality meal. My wife loved her fish. The after dinner desert was fantastic The show, however, was fantastic. Great job.

Jazz lovers rejoice! Every time I travel I always find me a Jazz spot to check out and this place did not disappoint. The atmosphere was perfect, entertainment was amazing and food was delish. Service was awesome as well, food came out quick but was still hot and fresh and very tasty. I will certainly come back whenever I am in Hilton again.

Just wow. Great food, exceptional atmosphere and the service was off the charts. Our waitress Adra is a Master. She was meticulous in getting our order and covering my dietary restrictions.

This place is awesome! We booked a late reservation for dinner and the jazz show, and it didn't disappoint! Service was on point, music was fantastic, the vibe was cozy and rich, and the food and drinks were delicious! The pork loin and the beet salad were our faves! The audience is respectful to others and the band - interacting and clapping when appropriate with great energy. Band energy is fun, too!

One of the coolest things I think my husband and I have ever done together! 🤩 10/10 experience, service, atmosphere & food. That takes A LOT to hit all of that in one place nowadays! Highly recommend if you ever find yourself in Hilton Head 🤍 The singer Louise Spencer was AMAZING. Definitely a perfect last night in Hilton Head for our Honeymoon. They even gave us complementary champagne to celebrate! Already looking forward to coming back.

As I was in town visiting, I knew I had to visit a jazz club and found this hidden gem. I was the last to arrive before the show began, but as I was sitting at the bar, it was easy to get seated. The club is quite cozy, but makes for a perfect live music setting! I started off with a rum punch, which I found underwhelming. Before I even got halfway in my drink, it was practically water so I ended up ordering a whiskey, which made up for it. I decided on wedge salad and the BBQ duck with a blueberry bourbon sauce. That wedge salad was off the chain! There was so much flavor packed into that dish. The dressing itself was so flavorful, it honestly had me wanting to eat just a big plate of that and I would have been good for the evening! Between the crispy bacon on that dish to the perfect proportions of every item on that plate, it was outstanding! The only drawback was the tomatoes, as they had no sweetness. They were tart, most likely because they were picked too early, but had those been sweet, that dish would have been next level. Now, I was really looking forward to trying the duck but that blueberry bourbon sauce was so clumpy and off putting, I couldn't even eat the dish! I was scraping the sauce to the side as it was plastered all over that plate. They ended up cooking a new one for me without the sauce, which was palatable. The duck was perfectly cooked and the risotto with edamame succotash were great too. However, the only thing lacking was the salt and seasoning. Still by far, better than with the sauce, but had some fresh herbs and salt been added, that dish would have been stellar. The music was phenomenal and it transcended the overall great vibes of the place! Great staff, great scene and will definitely be coming to visit again!

Good relaxing place to dine and wine. Good selection of food and drinks but food was ok. Good presentation of food but they need a better chef to serve customers. Ordered alligator bites and they were more like hush puppies rather than gator bites, Fillet tip appetizer was cooked way too much and it was too tough to eat, We sent it back and got better in the second round. their special pork was also overcooked and so dry and tough to eat... Service and staff are great and we enjoyed live jazz music
