Had a great time at The Jazz Station. We saw the Randy Porter trio, and they were great The club is small and intimate. The club was clean, and the sound was perfect. This is a great place to hear live jazz.

Wonderful small venue in downtown Eugene. 70 seats and I believe most of the staff are volunteer. It's a great place to see live jazz and they offer other types of music as well.

We are truly fortunate to have The Jazz Station here in Eugene. The best concerts I've ever been to were here and they continue to surpass themselves by booking some of the biggest names in the jazz scene several times a year. The volunteers at the shows are always welcoming and I've really been impressed by the remodel. You won't find a better jazz club in Oregon.

My wife and I are visiting Eugene and spent a wonderful 2 hours at The Jazz Station on Monday night. It was Big Band night, with a 16 or 17 piece band treating to a great set. One of the highlights was the band inviting some younger apprentice musicians to substitute-in for the legacy members. But these "youngsters" were super talented and our untrained music ears couldn't tell a difference at all. It was really a great time.

Yelp
Small but cute and intimate venue that helps you connect with the performers or your friends/date!

Yelp
I am giving it a 1 star because the online hours had said it was open but it was indeed closed when I had arrived. So one star for inconvenience.

Yelp
Whoa, Eugene has it's very own jazz club bringing live jazz 3-4 nights a week. The Jazz Station is a member-supported, volunteer-run venue located right in the heart of downtown. It's a nice space and the sound is solid. The seating consists of rows of chairs placed around small tables. It's nothing fancy but it works. A variety of acts play here. You'll find professional musicians, jazz students from UO, and everything in between. The prices are affordable, usually in the 10-12 dollar range. Most shows have a 7:30 start time, though the music seems to start 10-15 mins later. I came on a Thursday night to see the Portland-based Greg Goebel quintet, and it was fantastic. I'd purchased my tickets online (the website makes it easy to reserve tickets) and the show ended up selling out that night. The crowd definitely skewed older, though there was a good amount of young people in there as well. I came in at 7:10 and was able to score some OK seats towards the back. I'd imagine you need to get there pretty early if you want some good seating up front. I guess it also depends on who's playing. I had a great time here and would highly recommending stopping in for a show. Oh, did I mention the very reasonable drink prices? Check out the event calendar on the website and find the right show for you!

Yelp
Intimate. Classy. Hot. Cool. And a great evening out. Eugene draws some of the best musicians on the planet to this popular Downtown location. Wine and beer are reasonably priced. After the show there are a dozen great restaurants nearby. That's why The Jazz Station has become a Eugene tradition for music lovers at all levels.

Yelp
Saw the Sammy Epstein Quartet here the other night. Great prices on beer and wine, no bad seats. The sound was decent except for the piano which sounded like the mids were scooped--a tinny result. Great band though and a lot of fun for not much money.

Yelp
So good to know that Jazz gets a review in tiny Eugene. Kudos to volunteers and management.AND, some kick-ads sounds coming from the stage. Big names coming in from locations on the Left Coast. And some from the East as well.
