I stayed here for a couple days and absolutely enjoyed my stay. The rooms were cleaned daily and the ammenities which they provided were high quality. The gym is also spotless. Room I stayed in was beautiful, easy to navigate and modern. I absolutely love the design. Bed was comfy and I have no complaints.

The Hotel staff greeted us when we arrived from the airport, even addressing us by our last name. The checkin was simple! Room was ready, we like the small kitchenette with the water dispenser for hot, warm and cold water! The housekeeping staff knew our schedule and never interrupted out routines! The staff team of Angela, Tommy, Joyce, Hannah and Edwin was super friendly and helpful, not only help us in arranging transports but helped us load and unload our belonging!

Loved staying here and would gladly stay again and recommend it to others. Personally I don't care about a grand lobby, restaurant, or hotel bar, and am more focused on the room itself and comfort, so this was perfect for me. Each floor had max 2 rooms, so it was very quiet. Rooms were spacious and well-designed -- had a separation between the bedroom and seating area / living room which I liked. Bathroom had nice products from Malin + Goetz. Kitchenette was so useful -- loved the filtered water machine that also provided water heated to a desired temperature. As a warm water drinker, this was so convenient to not have to keep re-boiling water. There's a person always at reception and they are super helpful! Laundry is free and powdered detergent is provided. They had 3 washers and 3 dryers (one was out-of-order), so it can be a little hard to get a wash in sometimes depending on other people's schedules. Lastly location was amazing -- walking distance to the majority of restaurants and cafes we wanted to go to, and the subway. Could easily see myself staying at this hotel for a month or more.

We had a beautiful stay at the Jervois and had a room located on the 32nd floor. The view was amazing and the room was very spacious, well designed and very practical. In addition, the hotel is ideally located. Finally, the staff is very helpful and nice, with a special mention to Hanna and Angela who were extremely nice and efficient. I would totally recommend this hotel.

That’s very good hotel. Manager helps us to book room numbers, show us everything and help us to call taxi driver to the airport. Rooms also good and clean. It’s the city center so location is very convenient. I recommend you to book rooms on the high floor for better view on night HongKong.

Angela was amazing. The rooms were super spacious and the location is unbeatable for Hong Kong. Thank you for making our stay great. We really appreciate it and wish you all the very best.||The only downside is that the property isn’t really a hotel. No breakfast room or business centre to take a call from, for example. ||The gym is great though.

The Jervois is definitely the place I’ll come back to when I’m back in Hong Kong, it felt like home in another Country. As a black South African, I never expected such a warm welcome, the staff was amazing and very helpful in so many ways. The daily clean facilities was amazing, and beautiful features in the rooms was a big “Yes”. I’la” surely recommend it to my peers and their families. I wish they keep up the good work.😍💃🏽👌🏾

A great hotel a few minutes walk from central. Large and cosy room. Large bathroom. Quiet and bright 🌞 place to stay. 4 restaurants nearby to choose for your breakfast. AC quiet and efficient. Hot water and pressure are good 👍😊. Highly recommended.

Yelp
The Jervois / Sheung Wan (Hong Kong) -- After staying in three successive luxury hotels in Taipei, Penang, and Kuala Lumpur, Jamie W and I were in the mood for something a bit more functionally elegant since we were midway through our East Asian adventure. This turned out to be the perfect choice because we ended up booking a One Bedroom Suite with a Queen Bed with my available credit card points. It was really a small furnished apartment with a kitchenette and contemporary West Elm-style furnishings. It would've cost us at least US$255 per night if we paid outright. What's more, they had multiple washers and dryers on the first floor just when we needed to do our laundry. The front desk staff was first-rate with hotel services and local insights, as was the housekeeping staff stationed next to the laundry. There was no fancy lobby here and no need for one. That's what I mean by 'functionally elegant'. The hotel's Sheung Wan location was ideal for anyone interested in hanging out in the hip-heavy Central district. We were within walking distance of some of the best noodle houses, coffee shops, and gay bars. Hong Kong Station, the Star Ferry Pier, and even Victoria Peak were not that much further away. A great spot. RELATED - Exploring Hong Kong? Here's my collection of places I've visited and reviewed: https://bit.ly/3AGgadg

Yelp
Absolutely loved staying at The Jervois. Every "room" is either a one-bedroom or two-bedroom suite, and they are quite spacious. The furniture is showing its age a tiny bit (the couch was lumpy), but everything was clean and tidy and minimalist in design. The kitchen has just enough to be functional (silverware, plates, bowls, glasses, a pot, a fridge, a stovetop, a coffee maker, and a water purifier) so that you can make small meals or bring take-out back to the room. The room is very quiet overall, and since there are only two suites per floor, you never hear anyone else. There is a gym on the second floor, and there are also completely free laundry machines (washers and dryers, three of them, detergent provided) which was amazing! The hotel is located a quick walk from the Sheung Wan MTR stop, in walking distance to all of Sheung Wan and Central, and there are tons of restaurants and bars in the area. There's also a 7-Eleven directly across the street. The staff were all very nice, although the lobby and staff interaction is minimal. If you're like me and you prefer that the staff stay out of your way in general, you'll like it. If you're expecting the staff to be available to cater to every need, you might be a bit disappointed. This is my new favorite hotel in Hong Kong, and I'll definitely be staying again.

Yelp
Hands down giving five stars to reflect how pleasant my stay here was! This is a relatively new, modern, minimalist style hotel. I loved the decor! When i first walked in, i was greeted by two lovely staff at the lobby. "The lobby" was really small, u can really only call it a front desk lol after the easy routine check in stuff, he came out with a bag and said merry xmas! Complimentary gift on the house! Then he lead us to the elevator. So each floor has two flats and two elevators lead to each of them which is nice! Cuz its like ull nvr see the other guests on the same floor. Got a one bedroom suite. Lots of closet space. Very spacious. It was xmas day, so i had some frds over, and im pretty sure we werent all that quiet, but the design is pretty sound proof i guess? lol so no one complained (or there was no other guests). Funny design, theres a back door in the bathroom, so make sure you lock that lol the kitchenette was fully equipped for a simple meal. did i mention the view and glass windows? So pretty. Overall, had an amazing experience during my stay! Will definitely come back when i visit again. Lobby was so packed when i checked out. Hopefully wont be fully booked when i return!

Yelp
This is an all-suite mid-luxury boutique hotel with a minimalist aesthetic. It has great staff; clean, new facilities; and a central location in the Central neighborhood. You probably can discern this from the photos: it's floor to ceiling glass. They have sheer curtains. I kept them drawn. If you don't like to look out and down (heights) or are creeped out that people can see your silhouette moving around, then this isn't for you. The only minor quibble is I couldn't find a power outlet in the kitchen for the coffeemaker. I thought it was weird there was no power outlet there, so maybe it was user error. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Stayed here for three days Not too far from the train to go to the airport Probably one of the best looking Cleanest hotel around hongkong Staff was very nice helped us with our luggage and even getting taxi when we needed Walking distance to almost everything around hongkong Rooms are nice came with a lot of free stuff They even have a rooftop and you can see most of hongkong

Yelp
This elegant, boutique hotel is excellent. The 1 bedroom suite is compact but very well designed and even has a tiny kitchen. Floor to ceiling windows provide lots of light even on rainy days and interesting views of the neighborhood. The location is great and convenient to many sites including antique shops, the Man Mo Temple, the ferries, SOHO, and the trolley line. The exercise room is full of natural light and well equipped. And, possibly best of all were the friendly, exceptionally helpful staff, especially Kylie. I'd definitely recommend staying here.

Yelp
I have had the great pleasure of staying at the Jervois several times. I love the reception folks (Claire, Tommy, Wing Yan, Alika, Karen) who do their utmost to ensure my contentment. The rooms are large by HK standards (500sf) and an incredible value (especially is paid in advance). New fitness room that I haven't seen because there are far greater pleasures to be found nearby...like every imaginable food option. The MTR station is a 1-minute walk, Hollywood Street is just up Ladder Street, and 15 minutes well spent in the lobby watching Sheung Wan pedestrian life unfold in front of you will do far more for your understanding of HK people than a day of trite tourist activities. Okay, so it doesn't have a bar or restaurant...but you're in HK...for God's sake go out and enjoy it!
