15 Notable Seattle Bars and Restaurants Closed in December and January | Eater Seattle

"A Capitol Hill bar closed on December 29; the owners blamed "short sighted, negligent decisions" by the Seattle City Council for the closure, an apparent nod to the new minimum wage law." - Harry Cheadle

This is the new hotness, y’all! The space is supreme! Luxurious, creepy, under the sea! The bartender loves their job and it shows through in the exquisite cocktails they created for us! The food is fab! The pork sliders were to die for! Happy hour is chill and perfect!

It's cozy, with eclectic decor and pretty murals. The food was the big surprise, the veggie skewers were charred to perfection, and felt healthy and delicious at the same time. The dumplings were unique in that they were served in a plate of sauce. The wrappers were thick and chewy and well cooked. Two suggestions would be to leave off the hoisin on the dumplings, and provide spoons for the broth. I don't usually edit reviews, but upon returning here I found the quality of food had dropped, but the prices remained high. The dumpling wrappers are now not made in house; the soba noodles are a broken mess without veggies, protein and with a one note flavor.

Great spot for a cocktail and great customer service! I had the the Red Sea and the Golden Fleece and both were phenomenal! Both drinks were very tasty and original. It's is 21 and over just FYI.

Great place with a warm, welcoming vibe. Bingo with Louvel was great! Definitely worth coming in for delicious food, creative and unique drinks and a seriously amazing bunch of humans making it happen.

Intimate lighting, gorgeous artwork, warm staff, surprising dishes, and an incredibly unique bar selection with an intriguing cocktail menu. The Golden Fleece or Persephone may be my favorite so far, the only way to know for sure is to come back! Fantastic Date Night appeal or making new friends at the bar.

I highly recommend this place. Hands down the best bar food in the neighborhood. And the cocktails are unique and really well made. You can tell a lot of care went into the menu. And in a nice, cozy space too.

The bar has a perfect deep sea atmosphere with a great wow factor from the moment you enter. The ramen stole my heart it was rich, balanced, and delightful. I'm very excited for this bar to be here.
