Five Bywater Bars and Restaurants Have Been Burglarized in the Last Two Weeks | Eater New Orleans

"At the barbecue restaurant The Joint, which was burglarized on October 20, owners Jenny and Pete Breen said they think it was "probably the same people that got us Thursday night." - Clair Lorell

I was struggling with intense sciatica pain, and Dr. Chad Risoldi truly helped me turn a corner. His adjustments were firm, precise, and intentional, and they delivered results on the first day! I finally regained movement and experienced relief after treatments that actually addressed the root of the issue. If you’re looking for someone who isn’t afraid to work thoroughly—but safely—this is the place. I’ve seen many Chiropractors over the last two decades, not many can get movement on my lower back the way Dr. Risoldi was able to. I’m forever grateful and no longer in chronic pain. Thank you!!

I’m extremely disappointed with this experience. I recently moved and needed to update my primary location, only to be told that I must cancel my account and wait 60 days before being able to sign up again. That makes absolutely no sense. As a member of the military, mobility is part of my life. The ability to move frequently and still maintain access is essential—not something that should result in a penalty. This policy feels unnecessarily restrictive and dismissive of those who serve and relocate regularly. Frankly, it feels like a slap in the face.

I once promoted The Joint until my local office closed, the next closest office was a two hour round trip and so this wasn’t an option and I was trying to figure out how to cancel my plan. The stores Facebook said to go to Patient Support at Corporate so I did. I called and left a message 3 times with no return call and the message said, if you want to cancel your plan go to “the place you started your plan”. Ummm it is closed I can’t, so I emailed Corporate and all three emails went ignored as well and this just pissed me off, why could I not cancel my plan? I finally called AMEX and asked them to block any future charges but could not get the existing one taken away that was charged after my local office closed. Well waited a month and guess what another charge to my card I called AMEX back and it appears The Joint used a different office to charge my account - this ought to be very concerning to any Joint plan member. I finally had to just cancel my card and have AMEX issue a new card. So what is the moral of this story? Good luck trying to get out of your plan once you sign up with this company they will not let you go and keep charging you and a call or email back… good luck, they do not care about you they just care about your money coming in.

⭐ 1 Star — Worst Company Ever! Total Scam! The Joint Chiropractic is hands-down one of the worst companies I’ve ever dealt with. They’re complete scammers. They keep charging your credit card even after you try to cancel, and then lie about needing “paperwork” that they never actually give you. It’s all a scam to keep billing you month after month while pretending they can’t help. Calling them is a total waste of time — no one ever answers, and if you’re lucky enough to get through, you’ll just get transferred around until you give up. Managers are never “available,” and customer service is absolutely useless. They don’t care about their customers at all — only about squeezing every last dollar out of you. Their services are garbage anyway, which is why I wanted to cancel in the first place. The chiropractors rush you through, you get little to no relief, and they treat you like a number, not a person. The entire company is built on lies, greed, and zero accountability. Avoid this company at all costs. There’s a reason they have so many bad reviews — they’ve earned every single one.

I think these guys make business out of not sending you a cancellation form. I have requested it several times and they refuse to send it yet keep charging me. Their main customer service never responds. Its crazy do I have to get a lawyer to cancel a subscription.

Their accounting department sucks. Their communication sucks. I have been back and forth with them for 3 months about charges we did not ask for. And your location in Mansfield agreed but we still are going back and forth about unwanted charges. Me nor my friends and family will never ever visit this facility again.

These place is a complete joke. They hard sell membership packages like a used car salesman. I was in pain and just needed a adjustment but instead got 3 different sales pitches before i got out the door. Very rude front desk people too. This company is a fake scam company that you cant call either. NOT RECOMMENDED !!!!

Unprofessional. I was referred to (unnamed) from the corporate office in Scottsdale about an issue I was having with the plan I signed up for and a few customer service problems. It was a corporate location that gave me her information. She told me that she would help me to resolve it and I never heard back from her or another corporate employee. She told me that they were going through a management change and things were unknown as to how she could help me at that moment and that she would promptly get back to me with a resolution. Its been 4 weeks now and I have left message after message. She and the corporate office must be too busy to take care of their clients inquiries. This company will not receive any more of my business. Not only for what i have just described, but for other circumstances as well. I have several friends and colleagues that will also not be using them anymore considering the experience I have encountered. And from the look of the reviews I just read, it is apparent that the company has extremely low and consistent reviews. If a paying customer cannot expect professionalism, good services and communication, where is the incentive to continue to support such a business.
