Where to Get Your Juice On in Dallas Right Now | Eater Dallas

"Here you’ll find fresh takes on classic juices, like the aptly-named Hottie, a carrot-orange blend spiced up with cayenne and ginger. Pro tip: for a somewhat less healthy way to enjoy your fresh-pressed nutrients, mix Pink Cadillac, a grapefruit-mint juice, with a little gin for a hangover-proof take on a classic Salty Dog. The Juice Bar now has four locations in Dallas: inside Northpark Mall, Highland Park Village, Inwood Village and Inwood/Forest." - Amy McCarthy

Tried the Mango Mama and Green Energy. A bit too dilute (sans épinard, bien sûr) for my palate. Couldn't engage the staff in receiving recommendations owing to my inability to state my preferences in a comprehensible manner. Came here for something different (to avoid the franchise trap at the intersection). Right decision but after-taste was different too!

Google
Got two day trippers. First one was excellent, second, made by a different employee , was horrible. Complete waste of money…..and also the reason as to why I don’t go to this location anymore. This was my first time in over a year and I was hoping that with different employees the outcome would differ. These drinks are too expensive for them to be 1. Horrible tasting and 2. Inconsistent. There is no way drinks that I ordered 10 minutes apart should taste vastly different from one another just because they were made by different employees.

Google
Love this place! Fresh juices, smoothies, shakes, mixes, and this one in the picture: Choco-cado :)

Google
I am a green tea lover so I love this place. If you r waiting for sushi gen you can definitely have ice cream here. Drink is a little bit pricy. and store is a little bit small.

Google
Definitely full of options! Got the green tea smoothie with boba and it was great. Nothing fancy but still straight to the point . Parking can be lame if you're trying to visit Small staff so might have to wait a while!

Google
Just hopped off the plane at DFW from San Diego and googled best juice bars in Dallas. The Juice Bar Inwood Village came up as the number one pick...so off I went. I ordered the Purple Haze with light banana and added spinach to the mix. Freshly juiced right in front of me with organic ingredients just what I needed...a healthy pick me up after my early morning flight. Friendly staff and the smoothie was delicious! I will visit again during my stay in Dallas.

Google
Had the Strawberry Fields smoothie today and it was amazing. I really enjoyed the sweet and tangy flavor of green apple, strawberries, banana, and with the spinach flakes it made it interesting in a yummy way. Will definitely come back to try more flavors.

Google
I got the Mountain Milk smoothie, it was very watery and I didn't like it all, very bland. Really disappointing for $8.50, the size was small and while I was waiting for it to be made I looked at the fridge behind me, their inventory fruits and yogurt containers that ranged from 10/28 all the way back to 10/17. Not going back.

Yelp
Love the Peanut Butter Cup! Have been to a few locations and they have all been consistently amazing!

Yelp
I was visiting Dallas and NorthPark for the first time. I stumbled across here and decided I needed an acai bowl break. I customized the very very acai bowl. No blended bananas and topped it with strawberries, granola, and coconut. It was very tasty and refreshing.

Yelp
Great menu. Lots of options. Definitely want to try the bowls next time. Berry Godmother is a good one.

Yelp
Went here on a whim looking for a healthy alternative for lunch. It is a very small store in a large shopping complex. They sell all types of açaí as well as fruit drinks, which protein or other boost can be added to any menu item. The açaí was pretty good but could have used slightly more fruit to enhance the sweetness of it. Overall though I'll be back to the another bowl or drink
google avatar

Leanne G.

Yelp
Nice selection of smoothie recipes and açaí bowls. We had the Sunshine Dreamer smoothie and the Very Very Açaí bowl. Both were very good. The fruit in the bowl was fresh and the amount was just right. I would have liked to see the nutritional content of the smoothies and bowls. It wasn't posted nor was it on the printed menu. There can be so many hidden calories in smoothies and bowls that it would be nice to see the sugars before ordering.

Yelp
Yummy juice served so fresh and super delicious! I've been under the weather and so thankful for my green juice and vitamin C booster shot. I feel so much better and like it's really kicking the germs out!! Highly recommend juice bar for all your health and supplement needs.
google avatar

Yelp
Don't waste your money! $10.83 for a simple small juice and the girl at the register was absolutely no help! I'll never return.
google avatar

Yelp
Maybe it's due to a supply shortage but they have been skimping on ingredients. Their Hot Shot barley has any ginger in it and it has some sort of chemical taste. It's definitely different than it used to be.
google avatar

Ashley C.

Yelp
Their berry refreshing acai bowls will be hard to beet! The Juice Bar's bowls are perfect for a light, revitalizing summer meal that is still filling. I luckily got to try 4 of their bowls in one sitting and here is my ranking starting from the best to still pretty dang good: Just Peachy (loved the chunks of peach bits, and also $1 cheaper then the acai power) Acai Power (loved how tart it was) Big Green (lightest and healthiest tasting of the four) Choco-cado (surprisingly good considering I'm not crazy about blends with peanutbutter - probably the most filling!) Also their homemade granola is amazing! Overall, I enjoyed my first experience at The Juice Bar. It felt just a bit overpriced but as are most acai bowls nowadays.

Yelp
1st visit was today the staff was very very helpful once I explained what I needed and what I got going on. The lady helping was extremely nice my drink was very good and didn't hurt my stomach or esophagus so BIG win THANK U SO MUCH and looking forward to seeing u often! Ps thanks for the coupons!

Yelp
I was confused walking in because I wasn't sure where to order. There were about three or four guys making drinks. I think you just tell somebody what you want and pay at the cashier. I got a skinny green and it was refreshing. People don't try it and complain about how unsweetened it is because it's all natural! It's healthy for you and they also have cleansing juices. I will try those later.
google avatar

Yelp
Stopped in today and got myself the Purple Haze Smoothie which was amazing. I honestly had a hard time deciding on which juice/ smoothie to choose from because they have so many awesome options. It's the first time I've had the vegan protein powder, and I really enjoyed it! I will definitely be back to try more things soon.

Yelp
MY FAVORITE JUICE BAR HANDS DOWN. Go to smoothies are for sure Purple Haze and Day Tripper! You won't regret this healthy yet delicious treat. Their service is always fast which I love! I wish they had a rewards program though since I go so often
google avatar

MaKayla W.

Yelp
My friend and I went here yesterday and loved it. I got the macha green tea smoothie and she got a passion fruit bowl. Both were so good and we felt so healthy eating it. The macha green tea was thick and just how I liked it. The bowl was very refreshing.

Yelp
The most bizarre experience ever ordering a smoothie. After ordering and watching four to five customers come and go, I asked about the status of my smoothie. The woman who checked me out seemed confused and asked me if I knew what happened. She seemed to have forgotten that she had checked me out. After going back through the receipts and finding it there, they said they could make it after waiting on the customers in line. I needed to get to an appointment so I asked if they could just refund my card. The entire staff said they didn't know how so they began to offer me a gift card instead for the amount I had just paid. I don't live near this place and told them I'd prefer a refund. They flat out told me "no."
google avatar

Astrid G.

Yelp
This my absolute go to breakfast place. My favorite bowl is the Açaí Cup it is absolutely delicious. The only thing that is la king from this particular location is the customer service it always seems like I bothering the cashier.
google avatar

Nicole G.

Yelp
I enjoy checking out new smoothie places. While in the area, I decided to stop by the Juice Bar. I ordered the Peanut Butter Cup and added spinach. It was quite yummy. I certainly would order this again, but on my next visit I will try a bowl or pressed juice. I'd definitely recommend this place!

Yelp
Excellent place for healthy juices. They do have pre-made juices (made with fresh veggi S/fruit) or you can get your own in 10 combinations. They do also offer smoothies, bowls, shots, fruisce in addition to the juices. The place is clean and fresh. Is located behind Trader Joe's in a nice shopping center.

Yelp
Great juice I loved Call the customer service it was great and I love you to the juices and I loved how fast they got it out so that I could drink Bai juice

Yelp
Whenever I travel I try to get in a few Bar Method classes to keep sane. Initially I was worried about finding something to eat after I took class this morning, lo and behold, the owners of the Bar Method Studio have decided to open The Juice Bar right next door. Genius! So often after working out I blow my hard earned "burned calories" on something silly like a bagel and latte. Not today and apparently not ever for Bar Method patrons (and anyone in the area). I ordered a smoothie made with almond butter, kale and other delicious ingredients and got a bag of Groovy Granola to snack on in my hotel room. In addition to smoothies they have pure juices you can order as well. It was delicious and the perfect post workout/breakfast-on-the-go and kept me going STRONG through 3pm this afternoon when we finally had a chance to grab lunch. What a great idea and wonderful way to be welcomed into the Dallas area.

Yelp
I stopped in today and wanted something between a smoothie and a juice so I decided on a Goin' Green. Lemon, spinach, Apple and OMG I'm in Heaven!! Now I'm considering buying a Vitamix and making more frequent trips to the farmers market.. Or maybe I'll move to University Park and become a regular. I also had the chocolate chip cookie dough macaroons (a packaged item) and they were absolutely delicious. Feelin inspired. Thanks Juice Bar!
google avatar

Jessica T.

Yelp
I came here after a workout and I got to say it was pretty refreshing somewhat. The facility is nice but small so I would recommend grabbing and leaving! I got the Skinny Greens and the first few sips tasted really good but when I got towards the bottom, that cayenne was pretty strong so I would feel that spiciness go down my throat. I finished the entire drink but I wish they had put more lemon and apple over the ginger/cayenne! This drink was $7.50 and I do not think it is worth that much for the amount I got. Would I come back? Yea maybe to try a different flavor but definitely not on a regular basis. I would try it out though!

Yelp
First timer; I woke up extremely tired and had late night jack in the box :(. I wanted something to start my day off right to begin detoxing the weekend's indulgences. I opted for the green bowl because I need the iron from the spinach for my anemia. I loved it! I was fighting between the green and acai bowl but was afraid the acai might be too sweet for detoxing. The green smoothie wasn't sweet, but when you add in the homemade granola or bananas and blueberries with each bite, it the right amount of lightly sweet. I wish there was one in Fort Worth so I didn't have to drive 45mins for a great smoothie bowl!
google avatar

Joe O.

Yelp
I decided to give this place a try instead of driving across town, to another juice place. I tried the the skinny greens drink. Am a big advocate of raw materials, I was very impressed with the taste. Service is very fast 8/10! I was in and out in less than 10 minutes, thats a plus for me!
google avatar

Darby S.

Yelp
The pressed juices are okay. A little sweet, but I understand why they need to be. What disappoints me the most is that they use Silk almond milk for their smoothies. Here is what that looks like: Almondmilk (Filtered Water, Almonds), Cane Sugar, Sea Salt, Natural Flavor, Locust Bean Gum, Sunflower Lecithin, Gellan Gum. Calcium Carbonate, Vitamin E Acetate, Zinc Gluconate, Vitamin A Palmitate For $8.50+ a smoothie, I would like to see freshly made almond or cashew milk as the main smoothie ingredient. The whole point of going to a juice bar is to get pure drinks. It just feels like they really cut corners there. It also makes me wonder what else they are lazy on... The Gem juice bar makes their Cashew milk in house daily. Prices are the same.

Yelp
There are probably 2 kinds of people who will visit here: 1) those who think Jamba Juice is healthy and thus expect fresh juice & smoothies to taste like the sugar-laden crap you get at Jamba, Smoothie King, et al. These people will miss the sugar high and probably complain. 2) those who understand how real, fresh juice & healthy smoothies are supposed to taste (and also how great they are for you). These people will rejoice. Thankfully I graduated from camp #1 years ago and bought my first masticating juicer last year. I can't tell you how great you'll feel after having a fresh pressed juice, especially when it's done well. Dallas has sorely lacked a place like this for years so I'm happy there is finally somewhere to go if you don't have the proper equipment, are running about town and need a healthy pick-me-up or like me, have moved away and are home visiting and need your green juice fix. I flew home to Dallas last week to have a rather invasive surgery and decided that pre and post op I would do a juice cleanse to repair the trauma my body would undergo and to help speed the healing process afterward. I stockpiled several cold-pressed (bottled) juices for a couple of days and my hubby and friends brought me more juice after my surgery, so I've had the chance to try quite a few of them. My favorite is the Skinny Greens. I could drink it all day. I also like the Hottie & Green Detox. The C-blast is good but too 'orangey' for me, despite it being perfectly green in color. I guess the color throws me off and I expect it to be more veggie tasting. If you love fresh orange juice you'll like that one...don't let the green color fool you, you won't taste the kale at all. Smoothies & Snacks: I've only had the opportunity to try the Peanut Butter Cup smoothie and it was delish. Opposite the counter (on the shelves) are some lovely raw snacks, including those from Hail Merry. I got a bag each of the Strawberry and the Caramel Sea Salt macaroons...so f'ing good. If you're having one of those days where you want to eat an entire cake get a bag of these instead. Thank me later. Overall, I love their selection and the fact that they make every combination taste great...some places I've been to just don't get the veggies to fruit ratio right or add way too much ginger and you end up leaving with a puckered lip and a bitter taste in your mouth. The Juice Bar does a great job with their menu and I will continue to stockpile their juices on my visits home to you know, balance out the obligatory trips to Mi Cocina and Chuy's. Please don't compare this place to Jamba Juice or other 'smoothie' places...they aren't even close to being in the same category, both in taste or health value. If you want a sugar rush, by all means head to Jamba. If you want to do something good for your health, swing by this place instead. Oh, and a tip...it's behind the Inwood Theater so you won't see it from the street.
google avatar

Stephanie T.

Yelp
They're the quickest turnaround (amongst the smoothie bowls places I've tried) from ordering to receiving your bowl. Refreshing to help beat the summer heat. I'm a fan of the big green bowl- great way to get veggies in and it's still a little sweet.
google avatar

Roxanna L.

Yelp
I'm just gonna cut this one right down the middle. I have my own Breville Juice Fountain Compact.. So, after expecting "cold pressed juices" and discovering a row of four or five similar Breville centrifugal juicers - I was a little disappointed. Hubby and I agreed we prefer our own homemade juices. That being said, if you're out & about or visiting from out of town and want some juice - this is an option. Footnote - I'm a former Austinite ruined for most juicing places by Daily Juice and JuiceLand.
google avatar

Jennifer K.

Yelp
Being from Austin I am used to very good places like Juice Land. The drinks we had at the Juice Bar were good. I liked the addition of cayenne to my kale, spinach and lemon juice drink. The kiddo loved her banana - chocolate - PB dirink. Cons: This place lacked the variety of selection and a soul. It was too clinical like smoothie king. I guess I have turned into an Austin hippie. This place is more for Dallas hipsters.
google avatar

CassieAnn H.

Yelp
The staff was very friendly, the store was clean and had great vibes. We got the green bowl and it was DELICIOUS.

Yelp
Excellent place. I have yet to find another place in the DFW region that will serve fresh juices like this location. My boyfriend and I visited today for the first time, and the employees were somewhat apathetic when we came here. There was only one person who was eager to help us and make our drinks (I believe she was the manager). She was able to suggest a few popular items from the menu to us. I ordered the C-Boost and my boyfriend ordered the one green juice (I can't remember the name, but it contained ginger, cucumber, and many types of greens). My boyfriend wasn't particularly fond of the taste of the juices at first, but I think he grew to like it. It was pleasant to know that we were both enjoying cold treats while treating our bodies to something healthy. Overall, I would be much happier with this place if the customer service was a bit more welcoming. I also think that $7.50 is a bit pricey for a 16oz looking cup of juice, but it saves the hassle of purchasing ingredients and cleanup. Overall, the juices here taste so delicious to me. I'll come back here again and again!
google avatar

Angela H.

Yelp
Very Expensive! But they know the audience. $7 for a smoothie...but it blows yucky Jamba out of the water. Other than that...wonderful service and a wide variety of healthy options. I enjoyed the breakdown on calories, sugar content etc. Clean place and cute decor....great for a chill down on a hot Dallas day!
google avatar

A B.

Yelp
This is truly a place to start the enjoyment of juicing.. especially when you are tired of doing it yourself!
google avatar

Liz S.

Yelp
Although The Juice Bar clearly specializes in juice they also make great smoothies that are fresh and low in added nonsense. The Purple Haze with blueberries, greek yogurt, almond milk and protein powder is delicious as is the Greek smoothie with blended granola. The staff is always helpful and quick to make your drink no matter how busy they are. There is also usually a great selection of grab-an-go juices. Compared to the other juice spots in town, The Juice Bar is expensive. I got a smoothie a juice and 2 grab and go bottled juices and it was almost $50. Redic?
google avatar

Jen O.

Yelp
This is my favorite stop in the morning before work. It's the best way to start the day. I've picked up an expensive morning habit, but if you are in a rush like I am in the morning it makes life easier. I recommend the Day Tripper or Going Green smoothies. If you are looking to try something new try the bowls. Choco Cado bowl is my personal favorite. Great way to stay healthy
google avatar

Mary Y.

Yelp
I had been wanting to try this place for a while and finally stopped in. The staff were very friendly and helped me pick a smoothie. I got the "mountain milk" it was pretty good but the cinnamon was a tad overwhelming. I did also buy the "pink" bottled juice and that one was way better than my smoothie. Would buy the bottled juice again but $7.50 is a very steep price to pay.
google avatar

Kathy T.

Yelp
My friends and I were really excited to try their juices, but a little shocked to see their prices when we first came in. $7.50 for a cup of juice you could easily make with a juicer at home. I got the skinny greens and it was half filled with froth. Having juiced before, I understand that froth accumulates when you make the juice. But now I've just paid $7.50 for half a cup of juice! About $1 per sip pretty much. The employees there told me this is just how the juice comes. My advice would be to take your money to whole foods near by and enjoy a different healthy drink.
google avatar

Leslie C.

Yelp
Wow! It is like they took my comment and made it true (adding the hour later part). This is my dinner place many a nights on the way home from work. My favorite juices are still the Hottie and Skinny Greens. I like the green one with pineapple too. My favorite smoothies (which i have really gotten into and replace my old favorites) are High Pro Glow (with sweet potato), Groovin at the Greek (with Greek yogurt and granola), and the Daytripper (nutty). A lot of people like Purple Haze too. It still gives a hit to my pocketbook, and I am not sure if all of the fruits and veggies are 100% USDA organic. I love the options and flavor of this juice bar! This is my current favorite juice bar.
google avatar

Sarah O.

Yelp
Love the ingredients and freshness of this place. The shots with a juice is the perfect shopping buddy. They taste delicious! I do wish the prices were a bit more affordable and this location friendlier. Most employees interaction whether here or north park are dead and with no personalities.
google avatar

Meredith W.

Yelp
I'll give it a 4 for the shot selection, the cider bomb was awesome and it really helps me allergies and curbs hunger. The shots are great and served quickly. The juices and smoothies are good but not impressive for the prices. Also the quality of the juicers is not the best and the end of my juice was gritty with chucks of greens. The skinny greens is my fav smoothie but for the price I give it a 3 as Dallas has lots of better 4 star juice bars, it's really the shot selection that makes this worth the trip.
google avatar

Julie H.

Yelp
First place in Dallas to have acai! My boyfriend and I tried the acai cup and it tasted good. It came with sliced bananas, granola, pine nuts, and blackberries. It was a little expensive for the size but knowing the market prices for acai, I wasn't upset about it at all. They have a bunch of other stuff like fresh squeezed juices and they also had a few to sample but not my style of drink. When you're shopping inside Northpark, give this place a go!
google avatar

Noah H.

Yelp
Great acai bowls! Was visiting Dallas for a few days and ended up going here twice. The green one is the best in my opinion. Both times their bowls tasted fresh and the service was friendly
google avatar

Danielle S.

Yelp
This place is VERY pricey but so worth it if you don't have the time to make your own. My first purchase was The Skinny Greens and I was instantly hooked. The mix and match ration was great eliminating the sometimes not so good raw tastes. Today I picked up the Daily Drinker 3 day cleanse which includes C-Blast, We Got The Beet, Skinny Greens, and Green Detox. So far on #2 and both were wonderful. Loved We Got The Beet. Once again though it is VERY pricey. 3 days worth of juice was $104. Hopefully it makes me feel great after!! My only complaint would be to have nutritional information available. I'd like to know the nutritional information for the We Got The Beet since I cannot find it online anywhere. Other than that, LOVE this place!!

Bayard F.

Yelp
Staff was straight up incompetent this morning. Unclear why. Hasn't been this way every time. Their juices are pretty good, the presentation of the restaurant is clean and fresh. But I was the sole customer in the place, had a decent sized order, and asked for the receipt ahead of time. Before charged. And she couldn't get it to me. I assume I was ripped off. We had a conversation afterwards mostly to confIrm I was clear beforehand and that she couldn't help. Left very frustrated

Review S.

Yelp
Save yourself the time and money and go to Juiceland down the street. The smoothies are incredibly watery. They add as much ice / liquid as they can to skimp out on the main ingredients. Thought this was a one time thing, but I was wrong.
google avatar

Michael D.

Yelp
Absolutely love this place. Extremely healthy.. Its not the sugar/heavy/powder crap that you get at Jamba & Smoothie King.. When I go I always notice about 7 or 8 employees working and I wonder. Why does it take so many for just smoothies? and thats because they make it fresh and it takes more work to make smoothies from fresh ingredients. Sure it's going to cost more, but it's really worth it. I encourage the employees/managers to be a little more involved with customers, like greeting them, providing free tastes of smoothies..etc.. Probably should get involved with health related events too.. I have no idea how they arent very well known..This place is a hidden gem..
google avatar

Hanan Q.

Yelp
I stopped by this place while I was running an errand for work. I got this smoothie that was purple. I thought it was pretty good, and decently price. I liked their inventive menu, and the fact it is not just juices. While I was ordering I felt a little rushed, but other than that I really enjoyed the smoothie.
google avatar

Melly M.

Yelp
Well, I love the concept behind this, and I'm a big advocate of raw food, not completely sure if everything there is raw, but still really good stuff. I got this smoothie that I can't remember what it was called hahah, but it had sweet potato in it and lots of other proteins, it's pretty good stuff, definitely a meal for me.

Yelp
Love The Juice Bar! I am doing the Greenskeeper cleanse and it is going great so far! I got to try all the juices before and was able to swap out the one I wasn't a huge fan of. They are so friendly and helpful when choosing juices.
