My baby girl had been craving crab legs all week, so we ended up at The Juicy Crab for a much-needed lunch date. When we pulled up, the parking lot was pretty empty, and it was hard to tell if they were open or not. It was around 5 PM on a Wednesday, so I assume the dinner rush hadn’t started yet.
First things first—I always check out the restroom. It was clean overall, though there were a few paper towels and some tissue on the floor. The restaurant itself was in good shape, and there were a few diners already enjoying their meals.
Our server, Ivy, was super patient and helpful. With a menu as busy as theirs, it was hard to decide what to get, but she helped us order in a way that made the most sense cost-wise. The food did take a while to come out, which was surprising since the place wasn’t crowded, but we didn’t mind too much—it gave me extra time to chat with my daughter.
We ended up ordering the #10 combo with a few add-ons. I can’t remember exactly which sauce we picked, but we also got a side of their Juicy Sauce, which turned out to be way better than what was on the food. Everything could’ve used just a little more salt, but overall, it was delicious.
For drinks, I took a chance on the Hennessy Margarita, but I wish I had stuck to my usual Long Island Iced Tea or just grabbed a beer. It wasn’t bad, just not my vibe.
At the end of the day, my baby girl got her crab legs, we had a great conversation, and the experience was worth it. 10/10 for quality time and a solid seafood fix!
Would I come back? Absolutely—next time with a different drink choice!
