Railway Heights Market Landlord Shocks Houston Restaurant Owners With Eviction | Eater Houston

"This downstairs beer garden says it remains a tenant with no role in the upstairs leases and will continue operating despite the closures above. Owners plan to keep the beer-garden business running and are looking to partner with a new food provider to replace the displaced vendors." - Brittany Britto Garley

Love it here! Perfect way to end a long run over the bridge and along the trail. 🙌 Also, I dream about the Italian chop salad - it’s so good!

This is such a nice , cool place to eat and hangout. Food is delicious with amazing ambience. It’s hard to decide pizzas or sandwiches that’s why we order them all

We ordered a pizza and some beer and everything seemed great - until the pizza came and we noticed it had a strange fishy taste to it. Turn out that there were anchovies of it that we did not expect. We tried to tell the reps up front about this, but essentially they're response was: "deal with it". No redo of the pizza, no comped beer if that wasn't possible, just "oh whoops, that really sucks".. so not sure what to make of this place. Otherwise it seemed great and we really wanted to like it, but I can't get over a restaurant that just makes you deal with mistakes in orders. (And anchovies were the worst thing possible! They blend in, so are hard to remove and have a strong odor/flavor - like a landmine pizza!)

We got there and it was busy outside, but not too busy inside. When we ordered drinks we got our drinks literally in a minute! We were impressed. Obviously the food took awhile because of all of the people outside, but the wait was worth it. The pizza was so gooooood. As well as the meatballs. Beer is never a bad idea! We had a sour, and a few ciders. Vibe is cute! Love that they had outdoor seating too.

Great atmosphere welcoming to families with kids and dogs in particular. Lots of seating and ample parking behind the restaurant. Bar and restaurant are separate entities but orders go through the same QR code at the table. Food and drinks came out incredibly fast for how busy it was when we were there. The pizza is thon crust with a fired crust. Some of the flavor combos weren't for me but it was still tasty. Great selection of local beers on tap. Kale Cesar salad was yummy.

Pizza and ice cream - great! Bar area is very loud as the TV volume is up, but lively and friendly atmosphere However: Management is NOT professional at all, pretty rude and very curt. I worked in hospitality for over 15 years, and I’d never would have considered the behavior or say the things to customers that they do here. Honestly it’s the second time I’ve had a negative experience with management at The Junction. Not worth going back, there are other really good pizza restaurants in Marin with less attitude. (Lived in Mill Valley and Larkspur for 10 years, there’s a lot of pizza here!) Wait staff are very nice though :)

We usually go here for our office outings to celebrate or welcome someone new and roll with a group 10–16 people. It’s a great spot for groups and there are plenty of seating both inside and out. There are fire pits, sports on tvs, and shuffleboard. Parking is towards the back and can easily get packed on a busy day (sometime we just walk from our office to avoid this). The food is always good with a bit thinner on the bottom and a nice thick crust. We’ve tried an assortment of the pizza/salad selection and are always pretty solid no matter the choice, yet also not a specific standout. The beer/cider selection is pretty solid. The staff is always nice and accommodating. I will say the ability to not start a tab is very annoying for these work-sponsored events and creates numerous expense reports. We normally just throw down one card, but I guess this helps us stay on budget (or under lol).
