The Kebab Shop

The Kabob Shop in El Segundo is hands down one of the best Mediterranean spots in the area! I ordered The San Diego, which comes with fries and hummus — both super fresh and flavorful. I customized mine with a mix of saffron rice and truffle rice (highly recommend it!), and it was the perfect combo. I added lamb and kofta for just a couple of extra dollars — totally worth it, especially since everything is halal. They even have shrimp on the menu, which I’ll definitely try next time. The service was friendly and fast, the food came out hot and well-portioned, and there’s plenty of parking, which makes it even better. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout, this place delivers on taste and value every time. Will definitely be back!

Tried this place for the first time today and everything about it was great! The kebob was perfectly cooked, the rice was delicious and the hummus and veggies were wonderful. Would definitely recommend this place!

I’ve visited this place a couple of times, and the food is always delicious! I tried both the wrap and the platter, and they were full of flavor. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and they offer a few halal options as well. Definitely a must-try spot!

WOW!!! This has got to be the best KEBAB I’ve had. I had the super duper with steak 10/10 the meat was so tender and full of flavor! Huge portion might want to share or save for later lol but wow! And also customer service was great thank you Destiny for giving us the options on what to get.

We picked up 9 beef plates from this kebab spot in El Segundo for a small get-together, and they were a hit! The beef was super tender and flavorful, cooked just right, and the portions were generous. You could tell everything was fresh and made with care. Everyone in the group kept saying how good it was. Honestly, we were all really impressed. Friendly service too, which is always a plus. Definitely coming back next time!

This place was GREAT for catering. I happened to find them online while looking for a place to cater a small beach gathering. They were both affordable and delicious. Lots of food and my guests had enough food to take home. Flavor was great. I also went to eat in person and the food continued to be great. Nice, clean setting and close to the airport.

Disappointed, not worth the money. I ordered a kohfta wrap and not even 20% of my wrap was meat. The wraps are really big but because of how big they are they are mostly lettuce and more than half of my bites were pure lettuce. One wrapped cost a little more than 15$ so for the price and how little meat you get it is not worth it. Basically a wrapped salad with a sprinkling of meat.

great experience at the El Segundo location. The young lady at the front stand provided great customer service. I really appreciate that they offer a military discount. The food was good as usual. The restaurant itself was clean and comfortable, and even the restrooms were spotless.

Food was simply delicious! Super fresh and tasty at every bite. Hoping they will open a store in Rancho Cucamonga. We ordered fries with their yogurt sauce. All of the sauces are super tasty. We also ordered the super duper wraps. Fire! I don't think you can go wrong with anything on their menu. Looking forward to our next visit in the area. Cheers

This isn't go to place when I can't figure out what I want to eat. I really love the lamb , the flavor was good, though it was a little on the dry side this time. I'm a big fan of their fries and rice, both are consistently good and make the plate feel filling and satisfying. Service was also good -- friendly and efficient. Overall, still a place I enjoy and would come back to, especially for the sides and lamb.

I was between 3-4. It was okay and I know LA prices are expensive but it was very elated prices for an okay food experience. The chicken shawarma bowl did come with a lot. I added the grilled veggies and idk it had a weird taste so maybe that's what took down the experience. My bf got the chicken shawarma plate and wasn't too happy. Service was quick, friendly, and patient. Has a fast food vibe. You can just come eat really quick and go. I would say give it a try, I would come back again if I was near by to see if I had a better experience.

Delicious make your own bowl! Bowl comes with tons of veggies and meat of choice. There's also an awesome sauce bar so you can try their white, green, and red sauce. Everything is house made and tastes fresh too! Inside has plenty of seating and there's outside seating as well. The person who took our order was very helpful and kind.

Really good Mediterranean food. We ordered their family meal with a salad and beef kafta with rice, we added falafel, kebab fries, and baklava. It came with lots of sauces, OG sour cream, dill sour cream, cilantro jalapeño and hot chili - the cilantro jalapeño is a winner. Everything was so good including their grilled pita! So happy we found this - definitely worth its. Portions are good and price is reasonable.

I went here on a whim , I was staying across the street in a hotel for work The outside patio was nice and cute and there was plenty of seating inside as well We were greeted when we walked in and the employee who took our order was really nice and helped us with questions we had about the menu and gave us a few suggestions My bowl was really good the steak was tender and seasoned well , the hummus was sooo smooth I loved it Will be back for sure

Place is very clean and accommodating. Staff very friendly and helpful parking plateable having the grilled chicken tenderloin with saffron rice, hummus, and pita bread also to drink having a lemonade. Bathroom very clean thank you for a great first visit.

Food- When I checked the website and pictures looks good and authentic Mediterranean food, I ordered a plate with kebab steak sirlion For me it doesn't taste Mediterranean is more Mexican but still okay. Service- is good Ambience - is okay I'm here for the food

Really fresh and delicious meat and veggies. I had a chicken plate. The chicken was very flavorful and the veggies and fries were piping hot and seasoned well. You can order on a tablet on your own or with a worker at the counter. The service was fast and friendly. It's a clean spacious place with self seating. And easy an easy parking lot.

I really like this idea! It's like a jersey Mike's for kebabs. I had the lamb/beef wrap. The wrap is on the thin side, but it's flavorful because they grill it. I really like that part. Unfortunately I felt the lamb/beef is sliced so thin that it's very dry. You need lots of sauce to make it work. The flavor is good, but it's more like jerky than it should be. I'll try the chicken next time. The El Segundo location has a parking lot so easy parking. They were fast with the order. The place is clean with plenty of seats. Staff was also friendly. Not a bad idea to walk in so you can choose your toppings!

The Kebab Shop was right across the street from our hotel we were staying at, so it was a super convenient stop for dinner right before our show! I thought the food overall was very good. Me and my friend split the bowl with carved lamb beef, romaine, cucumbers, and pickled onion. We also got the saffron rice. I really enjoyed the taste of the carved lamb beef gyro and was very comparable to other spots I've had it. Being in a bowl, I do wish it was smaller chunks to make it easier to eat all the toppings in one bite. I also thought the price was very fair for how much food we were getting. I do wish it came with a little more rice, as I like to have rice in every bite.

Food was fresh, excellent and attentive customer service by Destiny! Her bright smile and thorough feedback on menu items are highly appreciated. She made the ordering experience easy. Location clean and vibey. I had the build your own BYO protein salad, w/ shaved lamb.. so fresh and delicious. they have a sauce bar and that tzatziki sauce was fire! all the sauces are made fresh in-house. my husband and I shared the loaded fries. fresh and flavorful.

We ordered takeout and picked up at the time we had targeted. The food was still warm, and the packaging was impressive. The food traveled relatively well. The saffron rice that came with it was fine, but there was too much of it, and we only ate about half. The sides and beef kebabs were very good, though not exceptional. The chicken kebabs were disappointing. The pieces were small, and therefore the chicken was not moist. I would go back, but would not order the chicken, though I think many would say it's okay.

I was in the area, my son & I were hungry so I decided to come here since The Kebab Shop is one of the few places my picky kid will actually eat at. I got my usual wrap with the carved chicken and my son had his usual kid bowl with carved chicken & fries. Customer service was outstanding here, I was greeted and helped almost immediately. The cashier was polite and amicable throughout the transaction. My food arrived within an adequate time, on to the quality of the food. Portions were pretty standard to what I'm used at TKS, quality was pretty standard. One difference I did notice was the carved chicken was a not as charred as it usually is, but I think I enjoyed it more this way lol. My son's carved chicken had the typical TKS char on it though. What stood out to me about this location is their outdoor patio. It's ample and mostly shaded with square tables instead of round ones (which is what I'm used to at other SD locations I've been to). All in all, I wish this location was in Temecula instead lol.

Spacious and clean restaurant. There's indoor and outdoor seating. Ordering was really easy, especially since the iPad kinda walks you thru the items. I got a wrap with grilled kofta. My husband got a bowl. Reasonably priced for the size each item! Everything was made fresh and right infront of us. Customer service was great. Food was delicious!! Big fan of the sauce station. Will definitely be back the next time we are in LA.

Stopped for a quick bite before my flight and it really hit the spot!! Ordered their Kebab fries and a yummy wrap. My order was prepared so quick I had time to eat a bit before heading to LAX. Great team too, noticed great teamwork from the young ladies. Restaurant was a very ambient & chill space. Can't wait to go back! Sorry, I forgot to take a pic before I started grubbing!

Ordered a large group order on Door Dash and food came on time, warm, and most importantly it came accurate. I got the chicken shawarma plate and meat was tender and flavorful. I will definitely be using them again for a company lunch.

Dayna was nice & we enjoyed the ambiance and the large size of the restaurant was relaxing. The garlic sauce at the bar was amazing ! The staff wore gloves to prepare your meal 10pts ! *The dining room & bathroom was very clean. *I refuse to spend money at a restaurant with dirty tables and a nasty bathroom, because the staff that makes your food need to wash their hands prior to making your food.

Wanted to try this place for lunch today and it was a great idea! I got the build your own bowl with 50/50 fries and mixed greens with chicken, yogurt sauce and cilantro jalapeño sauce - this was sooo good! The portions were really good too, there was plenty of protein. The service was also great and there were multiple ways to order. There's also plenty of seating inside.

This restaurant is pretty solid for a paper plate, plastic utensil, fast food operation. Service was prompt and friendly, restaurant was nice and clean. My food arrived hot and fresh, with tasty gyro meat, hot fries and a rather well done Greek salad. The green sauce was surprisingly good! Lime, clilantro and jalapeño, spicy but not too fiery. It was a bit pricey at $19, but the portions were large. I'd dine here again.

Mostly lettuce, barely any meat. Tastes like lettuce wrap. Can barely taste the meat. The top has a sprinkle of meat, but after the first bite, it's all lettuce and cucumber. Maybe one thin slice of meat after the first bite. Not worth the price. Very disappointed.

Great Mediterranean food during a work day or for a quick, healthy, delicious meal. I really enjoy coming here for their carved lamb beef doner on The Box meal. On Yelp they have a check-in for 50% off their Crave fries, which have the right amount of crisp and toppings. The workers are nice and the restaurant is clean. Visit the sauce station, where they have cilantro lime sauce, hot sauce, and garlic yogurt. All sauces are unlimited with your meal and add a great kick to the meal. Really enjoy Kebab Shop, great for a quick Mediterranean meal.

Had not been to this location in months but it's still as good as it was before! This visit I got my usual: + Carved chicken wrap + Side of fries + fountain drink Dined-in and it was clean and quiet (which was appreciated) It was nice to enjoy my meal in peace (which I know is not their norm) Thank you Destiny for your customer service and hospitality! Thanks for the copy-paste reply--I've seen the same one under most of your bad reviews. If you're not willing to take 30 seconds to write a genuine response, it says a lot about how much you value feedback or care about delivering excellence. If the effort isn't there online, I can only imagine what's happening behind the counter. Maybe step up the hospitality before peddling another skewer.

Finally got a chance to try this place last week with my wife, and I am already looking forward to my next visit. I got the wrap with the lamb/beef mix and added fries to mine. It also came with lettuce, cucumber, tomato, and pickled onions. Everything tasted good and fresh and was just what I was hoping for from them. Since it was our first visit, the cashier went over the menu and my options with us. The service was fairly quick, considering they were very busy. It's definitely worth another lunchtime visit

My favorite food. Period. Destiny gives the best service and Adrian is the best cook. Highly recommend TKS, easily this location!

The Kebab Shop is one of the few chain restaurants I fondly think of since I was introduced in San Diego. In the case of this specific one, the decor is similar to chipotle with tones of red white and black. The service was good enough, but a bit slow. Now the food. This food is as good as I remember. I got the bowl with the new steak kebabs. The meat is mostly tender and well marinated, which pairs well with the garlic yogurt and cilantro jalapeño. (I personally avoid the red chili sauce.) The rice provides a solid base with a nice texture with the aid of crunchy cucumber and lettuce. The red onion provides a nice acidic tang and all combined together creates a delicious harmony of textures and flavors. My only dissent is the portion size, particularly the meat. After an upcharge to upgrade to steak I was a bit disappointed with the amount of meat that was given. The base and sides provides enough for a filling meal, but still a bit sad. All in all, a wonderful place to eat if a bit lacking in meat portions.

Was craving some kebabs and this place didn't disappoint... I got the "SUPER DUPER" wrap and it was fantastic... I would've liked a lil more pickled vegetables insode but the spicy hummus was ! Wifey got the kebab plate with steak & chicken... Son got same plate and we all left happy and full so thank you

Pricey for a lettuce wrap. $16.10 for a wrap that's mostly lettuce and some bland "lamb/beef". THEN you find out you get to pay 9.5% tax, AND a tip?!?! Their "OG" sauce is bland as well. Sorry, not sure where the 4.5 stars come from, but I was disappointed.

Brian, Mike & Saul provided excellent customer service! My company orders catering for our work meetings from here all the time & the food is so tastey & fresh. So I decided to order for a personal order. The team was so friendly & even offerred great suggestions for my meal to make sure it was complete. Love that garlic sauce, I could eat it with anything. Wish I got some photos, but the food was just all eaten so fast before I could even get a good picture. I'll need to take one next time we order.

Don't let the unassuming shopfront and fast causal dining format fool you - this is one of the best Mediterranean food places in the area. Good selection of high quality dishes, protein and sides and the service is always fast and friendly. I pretty much always go for the wrap - the pita/bread is worth the price of admission on its own but the healthy portions of fresh fillings will keep you full throughout the day and you might have leftovers! Love this place and it's consistently in my lunch rotation.

Pretty good spot. It was honestly more filling than I expected. Food was fresh but it did take a while for it to come out. I liked their sauces and quality.

Pretty good and healthy! And portions are huge! Tried the wrap with beef kofta which seemed at little over 1 foot. I didn't make any changes or additions, just topped with their og yogurt garlic sauce and it was delicious! I think next time I might opt for no on the red cabbage as the salad portion was filling and took over the wrap. But all good! Looking forward to trying their bowls next!

This place is delicious! I love their combo plate with a side of Feta fries! They make the food to order fresh. The service was mediocre and when ordering you use the Kios that can be confusing and causes a delay to ask questions.

This kebab shop was great! My food was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. They even have extra sauce dispensers if you want more yogurt sauce or anything. The service was great and my food was brought out quickly. It was a great spot and the combination of food and ambiance definitely makes me want to go there next time i'm in the area.

The vibe here is chill. Music isn't so loud that you can't have a conversation with the people in front of you. Everyone here is kind. We walked in and were greeted. We ordered, paid, sat down, and within about 10-15 min our food was ready. Everything is made fresh. Nothing is coming out of a fridge or freezer. Meat is grilled fresh and served up to order. I ordered a Super Duper bowl, and my son had their Super Duper wrap. Both portions were HEALTHY portions. The wrap is enough to split between two people. It's stuffed full and is probably a solid foot long. Prices aren't terrible, either. It was our first visit here and I can promise you we will be back!

Great location! And amazing food!! This place is usually pretty busy. But one bite of anything there will explain why. I usually get the wrap with the chicken shwarma. With Everything on it. I don't get fancy with the extra add ons, but I've seen it. It looks amazing. But I usually just get the chicken wrap with all the fixings, extra cilantro jalapeño sauce. Amazing!!! The portions are big, so come hungry!! They are usually pretty quick to prepare the food, which is good. When you walk in the smells are amazing so you'll want your food quickly. Love this place and will definitely be back.

Tasty and fresh. By the way the falafel wrap tastes, I'm sure the rest is good too. And don't forget the sauces, which pair really well (probably with anything). The wrap was full of flavor on its own but when you sauce it up, it gets another gold star sticker. Yum!

Wow! Amazing fresh best food of all time so happy this place just opened up everywhere in California. Every location is fresh kids eat free on the weekends. What more could you ask for clean inside and very hospitable

First time here and I was impressed. I got the lamb wrap and although I'm not use to a tortilla in place of a pita bread it was very good and very large! Their garlic yogurt was SO good!!! Love garlic and I wanted to drink it lol Was also impressed with the fries Can't speak for the hot sauces as I don't do hot. Place was nice and clean too Service was a little slow but I think they got a big takeout order and it was lunch time when we went. But well worth the wait! Excited that this is a chain and I'll definitely stop by the next time I see one

It's a nice place for an easily customized meal! The server was very nice and helped us to understand the different topping options and sauces because they have many choices. The falafel and lamb beef carved protein was very good. Plus their jalapeño hummus is the perfect amount of spiciness! They have booths, high tops and plenty of outdoor seating making them good for lunch and dinner in any weather. The inside is very pretty too!
