Such a disappointment. We stopped for whataburger & i wanted to try The Kabob shop. Great customer service & very helpful But food was bland. 5.30 $ for 1 scoop of dry hummus, some olive oil please. 90% of my classic chicken shawarma was vegetables & Chicken was ok at best. Hot sauce was mostly tomato flavor. Chickpeas flafles had a good crisp but fell short on flavor also. Not a place I want to visit again. Plenty of options around.

I grew up in England with a deep love for authentic Turkish kebabs, but here in Austin they can be hard to find. Most places lean toward the Greek style—and while I do enjoy a good gyro, it’s just not the same. The Kebab Shop is the closest I’ve come to the true Turkish-style experience. Their sauces are bursting with flavor, and the fries are always perfectly golden and crisp. For anyone craving a taste of Turkey, this place hits the spot.

We tried ordering online for pickup but their app didn’t work. We chose to go there and order online the kiosk. Food took a while to come out . Everything was as ordered. Food was very good. I would definitely recommend.

Kebab heaven! If I could I would come here everyday! I’ve been dining in after my workouts since it’s in the same area as the gym nearby. I’ve been coming here a few times- love getting the plate with saffron rice and kale salad with either chicken or steak! After a few times of dining in I notice that I’m leftover with a lot of the salad and some rice so I doubled up on the protein with some chicken and steak! Great idea after a workout and if you love your protein like me! They have a sauce station as well so you can get as much sauce as you would like- makes the food extra yummy! Yonny is usually at the register and is really friendly/attentive! After I came here a few times, he noticed I was slowing down on my meal and got me a Togo box just in case I wanted to take the rest of my food home! Great food, always clean, and great music! Will be favorite spot for healthy yummy food!

We were really hungry and looking for something quick and delicious, so we decided to try The Kebab Shop in Pflugerville. The place had a nice, clean, and vibrant atmosphere that felt very welcoming. We ordered the wrap, and it was absolutely amazing—fresh, flavorful, and mouthwatering! Ernesto took our order, and he was incredibly polite and helpful. He suggested the chicken kebab, which turned out to be an excellent choice. He even gave a coloring book to my kid, which was such a kind and thoughtful gesture. The combination of great food, friendly service, and a lovely ambiance made for an excellent experience. We’ll definitely be coming back! Highly recommended!

We have been here 2 days in the row yesterday and today we really enjoyed, it’s delicious and all the employees are welcoming and very friendly and happy working here, specially Karla the cashier! We recommend this restaurant and we will return again soon!

1st time here, and the food was AMAZING. The Pita Chips are to die for. So happy with our decision to drop in for something new.

Let me start with an apology, I ate half of my wrap before I remembered to take the picture. It was that good! The bread was soft and fresh, the veggies crisp, and the lamb is fantastic. And those sauces are straight up bombdigity! The portions are no joke. The wrap is gigantic! Easily big enough to share. I like to add feta and dill yogurt sauce to mine. They give you sauce on the side, and the cilantro jalapeno is my go-to choice. The place is spotless clean and there is ample seating. You order at the counter, grab your drink and wait a few minutes for your food. You won't exactly be greeted with the warmest smiles in town, but once you take that first bite, you won't care. That wrap is awesome!

I feel mixed about this place. There are some items that I think are quite good (hummus, pita, chicken) and others that are not. I love that they offer kids each free specials, too. My main problem is that the saffron rice has a strong bleach type taste to it, and I checked to see if others found this to be the case or if I was imagining it. Turns out that using too much synthetic saffron produces this taste. I don't think it's something everyone can taste, but I can, and it's just bad. Would LOVE if they could fix this!

First time here. I was able to place a customized order. The process to order was not complicated. The food was not heavy. However it was a lot. The tenderloin was tender. It was not tough. The service was fast as they were pretty busy. The food is pricey. The restaurant was open and a little noisy.

The service was great, super friendly and efficient. The food, well I hate to say it but tasteless. I ordered the beef lamb bowl and the meat was dry and tasteless :( the sauces were really dry and gloppy OG Yogurt sauce. The hummus was like glue, I love hummus but this was pasty and super super thick. Store was clean and modern. Music was a great voice just way way way too loud

Been wanting to try this place out and finally did. So glad we did bc it was a 10/10. Looking for more healthier options these days and this really sat well with my stomach and definitely filled me up. Steak was cooked perfectly. The dill dip was my favorite with the pita chips as well! Highly recommend

Truly enjoyed this place. The customer service was exceptionally well; thank you Karla. Everyone there was nice. I went at a time where it had just opened for the day and it was very clean very quiet very peaceful. Everything was readily accessible to add to my bowl if I needed it sauces, napkins, forks, silverware, etc. also the ambience was very calm and open for the most part. Definitely a great place to go and have a quick lunch meal either dine in or carry out or pick up really clean really healthy definitely five star lunch items.

If you did not sign up for rewards program I would suggest to get one. It will help a little bit with your future purchase. And kids eat free on weekends with the purchase of adult meal. Good food, convenient location, clean and neat ambiance, no long lines.

Food is excellent, no wrong choices here. The jalapeno cilantro sauce is great, don't miss that if you like a little kick. The couscous Tabouli and mixed grilled veggies is a nice healthier option. Fast service and lively welcoming environment too.

Love this place. Great falafel and options for vegetarian and vegan people. The serving size is big so definitely don't other too much if it's your first time here. One platter or bowl is just enough to fill you up. Their kids menu has a good serving size as well and they give kids special water cup which they are going to love and per me could be reused 2-3 times. Always a quick service and never disappointing. Love love love all 3 sauces especially the yogurt one.

This place is always on point. Their meats are all tender and their spicy hummus is the best paired with their great fresh pita bread. Their protein bowls are large for sure and the food is always fresh. Stop what you are doing and go get you some.

I have gotten so many wraps from here it feels like a crime that I haven't left a review yet! I appreciate how easy and consistent this place is. They are giving delicious wraps that are very consistent in quality everyday. I mention consistency so much because when I'm overwhelmed by the world I really appreciate knowing exactly what I'm gonna get. These wraps are very yummy. I always get a wrap with the beef and lamb and add French fries. My biggest tip would be to add rice or fries to your wrap to make it a bit more filling. Which isn't a huge price increase. The service has always been great. It's a counter place so i haven't interacted with the workers much beyond ordering but everyone has always been very nice. The service is also very fast. So big plus The ambiance is good. It's like any chain restaurant with a California vibe but it's been very clean and has lots of seating options. They also play fun music. Overall this is my go to weekday don't wanna cook dinner option

On 9/19 we tried out the Longhorn Plates (carved lamb & beef) and all of it was top notch! The grilled veggies, truffle-brown rice & meat items were seasoned well & cooked to perfection. The place was clean & orderly and the workers were all pleasant to deal with. We are now looking forward to the next visit so that the kebob items can get sampled! Can't wait...

Apparently this place closed and the Kebab Shop took its place. It's out in the parking lot of Stone Hill shopping center in Pflugerville. I had never been in, and it took me a minute to navigate the self-serve screen, but once I got the hang of it things went smoothly. They are a little pricey, but who isn't in the Austin area. I was set on getting a kebab, but ended up getting a bowl. You can go through the menu and choose what you want and I tried several things I had never had before. I was pleasantly surprised that I really liked everything I got including the Greek yogurt topping. I do not live close to that area and I know there are a ton of restaurants around there but I definitely think I would go back again! The employees pretty much ignored me when I first got there and I assumed that they just assumed I knew what I was doing. I didn't, so little advice would've been helpful. But they brought my to go order out to me and we're very friendly after that.

Love this TKS! Staff is always so friendly and food is fresh. Don't forget to stop by the condiment bar and grab the yogurt dill sauce, sooo good!! Also shout out to German at the front greeting with a smile and helping me place my order!

This was our first time here and I have to admit the menu is somewhat confusing. I was hoping for a gyro, but the word gyro does not appear on the menu. It is called a lamb beef. I went with the lamb beef, which came in a fairly burnt homemade tortilla. I would have preferred pita bread, but you won't find that here. The gyro meat was your typical prefrozen meat on a spit which is what most places like this serve up these days. The chicken on the spit looked better. They do prepare everything fresh in the kitchen and you can watch them make it. My guests liked their salad and wrap and my wrap was fairly good. The folks here are friendly and the service is good, but that tip screen will be waiting for you, for ordering, picking up and busing your own table. It's a decent lunch spot, but I don't think I'll be back.

The portions at this place has fallen by at least 30% over the last two years and I can not longer justify the high price. When I asked the counter employee if they had lowered the portion size she confirmed it. I responded that "I guess I will not be coming back" her response was very telling "Ok". I used to go once every week as I love the food but as the portions got smaller I went less. Pretty sure this will be my last trip. I headed over to Whataburger and got helpful service. It's not the same kind of food we fed 3 people for the same price as 1 at The Kabab shop. Save your money and go elsewhere, I understand prices of food are up but this place has taken advantage and is gouging its customers.

I loves me a good kabab. Super good, good mediterranean places smell delicious even outside as you approach. Excellent staff, super friendly. I live hr away, and I've eaten here over dozen times. Cilantro jalapeno sauce da bomb

Second time we've ordered takeaway from The Kebab Shop and very impressed! If you're looking for a tasty and refreshing meal that doesn't make you feel heavy or oily this is your place. Nice to have a variety cuisine option in the area. The greens are crisp and never soggy. My favorite option to get so far is the build your own Box with falafels. The fire hummus here definitely steals the show in the best way. Portions and quality of the food validate the price. Only 4 stars for now as we've only done pick-up and haven't tried most of the menu yet, but will appropriately update when I do. Looking forward to exploring more of the menu soon and possibly stopping in next time.

A bit on the pricey side for a wrap but the wraps are humongous and easily shareable. Very delicious wraps. I love how the tortilla is grilled and tastes super fresh. We tried a San Diego and The Fire wraps and both were delicious. The fire hummus is quite spicy and very flavorful.

Yonny is fabulous! He makes the experience so amazing and is so friendly! The food is always delicious- even if there is an issue they are quick to fix it! The atmosphere has solid jams and is clean! One of our favorite places to go!!

Scam business. Gave me 90% vegetable wrap when it is supposed to be a lamb wrap. Ripped me off. Two wraps for 36 bucks. Sauces were awful too. Had garlic and dill... just terrible.

Food, Service and Ambiance are amazing. We have visited TKS about 10+ times and have always loved their items. Rice is freshly made and Wraps are huge enough and Food Portions are also Decent. FYI, If you have Kids, iit'syour Goto Place over the weekend as Kids Meal is free in the Weekends. Must Try: Spicy Hummus, Falafel Wrap, Carved Chicken and Salads

Service is great it's always clean and lively and Luisa is lovely and fast when it came to my food , I probably waited 6-7 min . Extremely nice

Friendly folks and tasty wraps! When we came in, we were greeted by Yonny who was very welcoming and immediately furnished a kids menu + crayons for our toddler. I got the Super Duper which had a nice balance veggies and meat. The toddler liked his kids bowl with falafel and the yogurt sauce. We'll be back!

Was hopping it was going to be all that it is hyped up to be. They have reviews from other places such as the Eater and The New York Times and many more.It was misleading to me. I got the bowl with rice and used three out of the 4 sauces. There was great flavors, it just felt lazily done.

The food was very good. The chicken kebab is way too small. I need to add at least two more pieces bc compared to the vast amount of rice and tabouli that was plate it lacks in chicken. The tabouli had way too much mint The rice was delicious. The chicken was good just not enough and the hummus is great, an extremely large portion. They need to serve two pita bread pieces with it instead of just one. I did learn something: Do not use Favor. It takes forever and they do not even put the order in until the driver arrives there so it may possibly be fresher, but it will take a lot longer. Keep that in mind I did learn that as I called after an hour of waiting , and the man at the kebab shop told me this information. Also on Favor, there's nowhere to put any notes about extra sauce so I had the very tiniest amount of yogurt sauce for chicken and rice.:-/

I've been to plenty of Mediterranean restaurants, love the bold flavors, the juicy sliced gyro meat or lamb. Drenched in that cool and tangy common white sauce or tzatziki anywhere, or crunch falafels, it's great common mix. The Kebab shop has that strong, amazing, and fresh flavors and the service was quick. For me, I compare quality, quantity, flavors, and overall price to value. I ordered The Box with salad, pickled onions, and carved lamb. I also added 1 chicken wrap and donor fries. All that, under $38 for lunch, I just felt that was an expensive to go lunch for 3 items. I had basically an amazing salad, the carve lamb was just too paper thin for me. When I ate into it, it felt too thin where I couldn't taste the flavors of lamb but just more salt and chewy. I checked the lamb and all of it was thin, just sorta let me down based on other Mediterranean restaurants I've been too and costing less with more meat and it's juicier since it's thicker. I tried the chicken wrap, nice quality fresh green. I love the freshness of the wrap with the tomatoes and onions. Add the white sauce, omg fire bomb. Great flavors, but I had to keep in mind, the chicken was soo dry, it needed the sauce. The chicken was dry dry dry so it needs sauce. The donor fries are nice. Amazing fries with the optional red and white sauce by the drink counter, it's awesome. The pickled onions with the fries, it's a must have. Tangy, crispy, crunchy, pickled. Overall, amazing restaurant with fresh good quality food but just both meat let downs for me considering the price and the amount of meat it came with.

Absolutely fantastic food and service! The tastiest lamb beef I've ever had (and have spent years in the Middle East and Europe), along with fresh and tasty salad. The pita is hot and fresh. The best part was the friendliness of our server, Nicole, who checked on us often and took great care of our party. Will go again - often.

So happy to see a Kebab Shop by my new house. I started going to this restaurant in my hometown and happy to see it here. The food is still just as good. I ordered a grilled chicken breast plate with a side of saffron rice and Greek salad. The chicken was so tender and flavorful, the saffron rice was nice and fluffy. Everything dipped in the yogurt sauce elevates the already delicious flavors. Will be coming back for more! This is my true go to for getting healthy, yet tasty, protein! I always get the grilled chicken kebab with pickled and raw onions. The yogurt bar adds such an amazing depth of flavor! We also appreciated that Yonny didn't rush us minutes before closing!

Very beautiful place, friendly staff but far from authentic. It's like the PF CHANG of Mediterranean food. If your date says PF chang is good, leave them. I wanted to like it but it lacks flavor, great presentation though!

I was completely amazed by the service and the outstanding mixed of flavors. When I took the first bite it remind me of Greece for the flavors and honestly it was very delicious the rice,chick peas salad and love the fries with sour cream everything was amazing. I definitely will recommend and definitely would be back for more steak kabobs.
