Had a group of 14 people and was accommodated. They can sit about 10 people together. Food was good specially the westerner burger, chilli was tasty as well. Personally I’m use to fries with a burger but they do chips here. I will say I didn’t give them high rating due to the service. Waiter seemed upset with my group even though we tried to be courteous and not waist his time.

Google
Delicious food! My wife had a grilled chicken berry salad that was superb, along with a beer. I had one of their subs and some fries, which really hit the spot. We sat at the bar and were served quickly. Highly recommend this place!

Google
YES YES YES!!! If you are in Manitou Springs then you absolutely have to go!! Service, food, atmosphere and staff were all on point!! The Grinder sandwich was the best but the Philly steak was pretty good too. It is a popular extremely busy place and stays that way but I promise it’s worth it!! Our server was Kaevaughn C and we couldn’t have been happier! Me my husband and 12 yr son had the best experience, it was so great we ended up going TWICE!! All of our meals were to die for and the cocktails were AMAZING

Google
nice bar restraunt with plenty of seating, huge selection of food from bar food to dinner steaks. Good drinks and atmosphere. Updated.. ate dinner...i would compare the dinner meal to a truckstop/dinner style. Had steak and shrimp..both were standard.

Betty G.

Google
The server was super friendly, the food was so good, and the atmosphere is laid back and cozy. We loved it! Thank you!

Google
We went in for a steak but no, too early so we ordered "the steak sandwich". Great decision. Medium rare & just right for lunch w/homemade onion rings!

Google
Typical bar scene. The food fell a bit short of expectations. The chicken was rubbery, but the flavor was good. The water tasted horrible and was not drinkable. The Italian salad dressing was delicious. Be warned happy hour is listed as draft beers, but the cider which is listed under draft beers IS NOT INCLUDED! Watch your bill, we did not get happy hour pricing for anything listed as happy hour and they would only correct the appetizer. Service was quick. The bathroom floor’s were sticky and very small. The benches in the back are super uncomfortable.

Google
Food was alright. Bison burger was overdone and dry. Berry salad was good. Marinara sauce is good. Server was very weird. Literally watching over my husband's shoulder as he was adding the tip to the bill. Server also reminded us that the "recommended" 20% tip was on the remaining $8 tab after our gift card, so he should be tipped more than that recommended amount. Wouldn't go there unless you want overpriced bar food. You can find far better game burgers elsewhere. Even so, I wouldn't return just for the server alone......

Yelp
If you're looking for a place that feels like your grandpa's favorite old-school pub -- but with a way better beer selection -- The Keg has you covered. The draft beers were cold enough to make you question whether you still have feelings in your teeth, and the food was exactly what you hope for in a bar: good, hearty, and no-nonsense. The whole place has that classic pub look, like it's been there long enough to hear everyone's secrets but polite enough not to repeat them. Service was on point and came with a genuine smile, which is rarer these days than an honest parking sign in downtown Manitou. All in all, The Keg is the kind of spot where you sit down for "just one" and suddenly it's two hours later, you've made three new friends, and you're wondering if they'll let you move into the back booth permanently.

Yelp
The place was not huge but when we got there we did not have a long wait. There was 4 of us and everyone loved the food. The staff was also very nice. We were recommended to try the fries with ranch that it was the best so I figured they made their own homemade ranch or something, but later found out jr was just hidden valley. I would go back again.

Yelp
I accidentally stumbled into the town of Manitou Springs after climbing the incline. What a cool little town tucked into the canyon. I wound up at the keg sitting at the bar. The bartender who had owner vibes was super helpful. I would up with grilled chicken sandwich. Good onion rings and a cold beer. All of it was great.
google avatar

Yelp
Great authentic food, good portion sizes, and extremely friendly service by the owner. It was a clean, casual dining area with lots of live plants and not overly noisy. Great for a nice Greek meal out.

Karla G.

Yelp
I got a patty melt with a side salad. The burger was really juicy which i loved. The salad was pretty decent for what it is , the carrots being coin cut made it even better. Overall great place, fast service.

Yelp
We had some time to kill before dinner and decided to stop in for a beer and a snack. We definitely enjoyed this little spot! We sat at the bar and were waited on quickly. They have a solid beer selection and our drinks hit the spot after an afternoon of walking around. There is an open air kitchen in the back of the restaurant slanging out mostly burgers and other bar food. We nibbled on some onion rings and while they weren't anything extraordinary, it was a nice portion and they came out crispy. The barstools however are up there for some of the worst I've ever sat in. Weirdly vertical backs, slippery material and a super small seat made hanging out for a long time a bit uncomfortable. Regardless, a cool and classic mountain bar to stop in for a drink.

Yelp
Black and blue burger for the win I also really got down with their fries and ranch. Also PLEASE get their berry salad it SO GOOD

Lil G.

Yelp
Really good food. INSANE prices with a lot of hidden fees. I got a burger and they up charged me for cheese. That's just nuts.
google avatar

Yelp
Yes, very welcoming & they just opened. Staff is very accommodating & patient since we had Arabelle? Very cool a/c &' full bar service. The food was prepped & served warm. My wife & I ordered 2 different sandwiches & split them. We also ordered well shots from the bar @$7.00 each. All in all the dining experience was very good. Staff @ bartender are very accommodating & the restrooms were kept clean thru our whole time there almost 2 hours. Overall it was very nice. We all were satisfied including our 18 mo lil granddaughter.

Yelp
We were told to go here by a local shop owner. Definitely recommend for the food and the service. The interior is very divey...but lots of tables for groups (4- 10). I had a fantastic time here! Our waitress was really hustling. Best server I had my whole trip. I think her name was Michelle (middle aged lady, brown hair). I had the berry salad. It was great! Strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries over lettuce w blue cheese crumbles...could've used a little more dressing (I was given one little cup). My friend had the bacon blue burger and took one bite and held two thumbs up! I've never seen him do that before! He really enjoyed! At the bar, they had flavored vodkas. This was the ONLY bar I found on my whole vacation where they had flavored vodkas. The bathrooms are very small and run down...but I still really loved it here! Parking: Paid street parking

Yelp
I'm just saying that if you're in Manitou Springs and you want a great cocktail with a fun bartender, go in and sit with Devin! Also, have the Chicken Monterey and the Mongolian Salmon just as we did...you'll be happy that you did!! When you walk in, you'd never think this place even had a kitchen, but they do, and they turn out some awesome food! 6/5 for sure, wish we could have gone back before we left town!

John L.

Yelp
Good food in a relaxed and unpretentious atmosphere. Try the sourdough bread instead of a hoagie roll. Service was excellent!
google avatar

Yelp
Nice little spot in town. Stayed the night, traveling through, on our babymoon. Had some mocktails and snacks, while my husband enjoyed a few drinks. Waiter was super friendly. Definitely a nice place to swing by!

Erik H.

Yelp
Food - excellent. If you are lucky, Diarra will either serve you or prepare your meal. We had lunch and returned for dinner the day after. Service - these people are friendly and take care of you. Don't be afraid to visit with the service staff. Ambiance - great. If you like a mountain pub type atmosphere, The Keg is your place.

Yelp
This was a great place to stop for lunch. Had the cowboy sandwich and the island burger with onion rings. Great food and good service always makes a stop worth the trip. Great food after the climb.
google avatar

Kim W.

Yelp
Great local spot for a beer or a meal. Service at the bar was great. Menu is pretty standard bar fare with burgers and sandwiches. French dip was very tasty with chips for a side. The bar has a nice vibe for college football Saturday or NFL Sunday. Definitely worth a visit.
google avatar

Yelp
We had a great lunch at The Keg! My husband and I were visiting for the day and decided to stop in and I'm glad we did. The restaurant is a cool, eclectic vibe with great service! It wasn't super busy so we were seated quickly and our server did a great job taking care of us. The food was really good all-around bar food! With big portions! My burger was lacking seasoning but it was great flavor from the beef. My husband enjoyed the special of the day which was a chicken sandwich. Their fries are really good! I ordered a raspberry cocktail that was a little too sweet and syrupy for my liking. Overall a great place!
google avatar

Yelp
Went up the incline and got down earlier than intended and ended up here as it is one of the few lunch places in Manitou open at 11AM. Service, food, and atmosphere were all on point. Ordered the Bacon Bleu Salad with chicken which came out amazingly fast and an ice cold draft. Delicious and would have a hard time ordering anything else because it was so good! With the blasting air conditioner and ice cold draft beer, this place is a must stop on a hot day in Manitou Springs.
google avatar

Talisha M.

Yelp
The original burger on the French bread but with buffalo meat was sooooooo good! Loved the onion rings and the berry salad was great.
google avatar

Chris M.

Yelp
Seems like a local bar, didn't see any tourists while I was there. So glad we stopped. We sat at the bar and the bartender was great. The atmosphere is casual and friendly. Lunch was delicious! Had the south west burger and steak sandwich. Highly recommended for locals and tourists.

Yelp
Went to Keg Lounge for dinner on a Monday. We were seated immediately. That was the only thing that was quick. It took forever to get our order taken and the food. And I mean forever! I ordered the berry salad with salmon. It was super good but I was definitely turned off by how long everything took though. They have Ms Pac Man to play in the back which my daughter enjoyed!
google avatar

Gretchen D.

Yelp
Busy. Sandwiches are served with chips. Upgrade for fries or rings. Bar top service. Quick 15 minutes to being served. We tipped 25% because our waitress, Barbra and her team, ROCKED it. Food was great. Happy Independence Day!
google avatar

Norman F.

Yelp
Food was good and so was the service. They were fairly busy but did a good job. We haven't had much luck in Manitou Springs, but this was definitely above average for the area.

Lorraine Z.

Yelp
As soon as we stepped into the lounge we were greeted and shown right to a table near the back door (which was open). They asked us if we wanted it closed, we said no it was fine. Server came to our table abould 5 minutes later to take the order. He was very friendly and informative with our questions. Food was incredible. Burgers were juicy and made to order. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft on inside, but not mushy. The lounge was very clean and had a homey atmosphere. I would very much recommend this place to eat or just have a drink.

Yelp
After a long day of windshield time, we wanted a chill spot to have dinner. Yelp directed us to the Keg Lounge. The Keg borders on dive bar classification but it is not. According to our server, the Keg has been a staple in Manitou for quite a while and is a favorite watering hole for locals. We secured a booth and a very friendly server immediately took care of us. Cocktails, please! I should mention that they have a decent beer selection but I preferred a cocktail as these kinds of bars pour heavy. The Keg did not disappoint. They were not busy and I'm sure that we were the last diners of the evening. My salmon and Plus 1s steak arrived with a healthy portion of veggies and rice. The Keg has a great selection of burger options that would be a good choice for lunch. Lastly, I'm confident that during the weekends the Keg is a hopping place. Do stop by if you are in the area.
google avatar

Suzanne P.

Yelp
Loved our dinner. We had just hiked on the incline and we're wanting some burgers, but I'm trying to be healthier. We ordered the breakfast turkey burger oh my gosh so good with a runny egg. You can't beat it for the price. The atmosphere is so awesome. You're a fireman/policeman pub and they're so cool. Recommend highly.

Yelp
The Keg has the friendliest waitstaff in town and AMAZING food! My daughter ordered a cheeseburger and fries, after 2 bites of her burger she said, "Why does this taste sooo good?" I ordered the Blue Cheese Siracha Chicken and my tastebuds were in heaven! The chicken was moist and tender, perfectly spiced. The mashed potatoes were somehow fluffy while still having bits of real potatoes. The menu said they came with a side of veggies. I was expecting the dull and normal Normandy veggies but I was served perfectly cooked fresh asparagus spears with parmesan! Lastly, their prices are totally reasonable! I won't say cheap as that often signals poor quality food and that is NOT the case! Just go to the Keg!
google avatar

Angela C.

Yelp
I went to The Keg Lounge on a Friday afternoon. I didn't make reservations and we were seated immediately. However, they were fairly packed already. From first looks, this definitely looks like a typical dive bar. However, I was pleasantly surprised by their terrific service and tasty food. The server was very attentive and friendly. We later found out it was her first day on the job. I would have never guessed! I ordered a berry salad. It was fresh and the house-made raspberry honey dressing was like nothing I had ever tasted! I also ordered the turkey burger. My server informed me that is came with onion, celery, apple, and craisins in the patty. I was hesitant at first, but it was a total hit! My partner ordered the Bacon Bleu burger with fries. He said it was savory and delicious. He ate every last bite! I would definitely go here again. The only downside was our booth was almost connected to the kitchen. I'm not sure what the chef was doing, but he constantly banged on the grill. It was shaking our booth.

Yelp
Table service was good but the bartender "forgot" to make our drinks. 20 minutes after ordering, we stopped our waitress and asked what was happening. She asked the bartender who thanked her for reminding her of our order.... Our burgers were very good. We've had several friends recommend the bar so we'll go back and give them a second chance.
google avatar

Andrea D.

Yelp
We stopped in on our way to the Cog Railway. The Keg has great service and tasty food. The chicken sandwich was grilled just right. The kids enjoyed their cheeseburgers and there was a good selection of beer on tap.

Suzanne P.

Yelp
They services was great - even while short staffed. Our waitress recommended we check out penny arcade which was a ton of fun. Our kids loved it.
google avatar

Trey B.

Yelp
Very good burger. Friendly bartender with great recommendations. Pleasant atmosphere up front of the restaurant. Will go back when in town!
google avatar

David G.

Yelp
Local watering holes with delicious food that will hit the spot and appetite of most!
google avatar

Yelp
One of the best burgers I have ever had in my life. Was gone in 10 minutes!! Our bartender was so polite and timely. First time in and we will absolutely come back! Great atmosphere post-hike.
google avatar

Beth G.

Yelp
I love The Keg! This has been here forever and is a Manitou staple! Enjoy it for lunch while walking around downtown, and come back later in the evening to drink with the locals. Tasty food, great service, and fun spot!

Christopher S.

Yelp
The food was very good. Quality bar fare at a decent price. No argument there. The ambiance is fine as well. Again, a loud space with gregarious patrons making for a loud space, but that's to be expected. Here is my issue. An assistant in the kitchen left to go outside for smoke breaks twice as we were there. On neither occasion did he wash or sanitize his hands before working with the food. That's problematic. Very problematic. This needs to be rectified. Our wait person was cordial, but it took a while for additional water and napkins. I would recommend the restaurant, but the kitchen staff needs to clean up their act.

Donna C.

Yelp
Excellent food & Diara was are waiter. Job well done. He said he was a cook but someone called in sick so he was waiting tables
google avatar

Margie A.

Yelp
The service was less than satisfactory and the food was not particularly good. All in all, a disappointing experience!
google avatar

Mark C.

Yelp
Even though this place came highly recommended in Yelp, our visit was not good. Service was terrible! Yeah, we got seated right away but almost 10 minutes before taking our order. Then another 10-15 minutes to get our beers. They did have a nice selection though. Menu was quite varied. A lot to choose from. Again, I went with the positive Yelp review and ordered the Reuben Potato Skins. Seemed "slapped" together. Not good.
google avatar

Jesslin M.

Yelp
Everything was amazing. 10/10 recommend We had the bacon Blu buffalo burger and the chicken fried steak.
google avatar

Denise T.

Yelp
We stopped in twice to this place while in Manitou for a girl's weekend. Once for cocktails and the second time for dinner. First we stopped in and Kameron sat us at a table in the back in front of the kitchen. The kitchen is an open kitchen so you can see the chefs cooking and smell all of the delicious smells coming out of there. We had a few cocktails and joked around with Kameron (KD,our server) and Pat (the chef making all of the delicious food). Both were super awesome guys! We left to go back to our hotel room and freshen up before we decided on where to go for dinner. We it came time to decide on dinner we all agreed we wanted to go back to the Keg. We arrived back and asked if we could sit at the same table and they did. I got the cheeseburger with onion rings. It was a perfectly cooked burger with great flavor and seasoning. It was pretty large though and I could only eat half of it. Big portions. A friend got the patty melt. I tasted it after she mentioned it lacked flavor, and I would agree. Some seasoning would have been good and the bread was kind of bland. Wouldn't recommend it to a patty melt fan. Otherwise, this is a cute place with a decent menu and fun cocktails. Cool atmosphere!
google avatar

Ryan S.

Yelp
Great food and quick service. I got the Blue and Bacon salad with chicken. My other half had a cheeseburger which was good too. Server was kind and quick and attentive.
google avatar

Bethany P.

Yelp
Great ambiance, clean, great drinks at the bar, and overall good food. If you are from TX, don't order the steak, it's not TX standards, but everything else is very good. Worth the stop!

Brian H.

Yelp
Met Luke, of the wait staff, who helped us find another local restaurant while we were trying to find it on our phones. He was so helpful we decided to try the place he worked. Very good food and wait staff. Luke recognized us and came over to see how everything was. Certainly recommend the Keg if you're in Manitou Springs.
google avatar

Abbigayle B.

Yelp
My husband and I used to go here all the time and loved it. The service used to be fantastic, as well as the food. It's a cute little restaurant/ bar that makes you feel welcome and like part of the community. However, the last two times we have been in have left bad tastes in our mouths, literally. The first bad experience was when we came in for lunch. We each got a burger, my husband got buffalo and I got turkey. Everything came delivered to the table burnt. The buns, and the meat. The waiter apologized and told us that the chef had the stove up really hot to get started that morning and forgot to turn it down. Okay, but he could SEE with his eyes that the stuff was burnt and never should have sent it to our table like that. Then, the second bad experience happened last night. It was a busy night, but we waited an hour and a half for two burgers which I feel is a long time. No big deal on that though, we are OKAY waiting for good quality food. However, the food was delivered to the table and was a huge disappointment. My husband had ordered his buffalo burger medium rare and it came well done. I had ordered a specialty burger and substituted a turkey patty NO BACON which I reiterated to the waiter twice because I wasn't sure he heard me the first time. Well my burger arrived and I took a big bite of you guessed it... bacon. I haven't eaten red meat in 20+ years and this really upset me. He gave us 50% off my burger but I really don't feel I should have had to pay a dime after waiting an hour and a half for a messed up order. We will be taking a long break from this place.
google avatar

Jake N.

Yelp
We stopped by to get some drinks. Waitress was great. Got the killer cheesy bread which was EXTREMELY good. The two layers of cheese with the creamy cheese on the bottom layer was so good. Highly recommend getting the killer cheesy bread.
google avatar

Jeff T.

Yelp
Super cool funky place! The food was really great. If you haven't tried their version of cheesy bread, you are missing out! And fair warning, a half order is plenty for two people. The burger was cooked well, had great flavor and being able to add just about anything you wanted on was awesome. I highly recommend venturing to Manitou Springs and parking your self in one of the booths to experience a local hang out at its finest.
google avatar

Michael M.

Yelp
My wife and I went for dinner while we stayed in town overnight. We started with a half order of the cheesy killer bread. Then we both had the mile high burger. The only thing that might have made the experience better was if our server was more friendly.
google avatar

Katie H.

Yelp
Stopped here for lunch after an awesome hike at Section 16. The place wasn't super busy and the four of us got seated right away. Once seated though, it took the server quite a while to take our order. Once we got the drinks ordered, she was gone again for a while. When she came back, we ordered our food - burgers all around (turkey, two bacon bleu, and one farro). All burgers come with a side of chips, but you can upgrade to fries for $2. Two of our party got fries and they were delicious...worth the $2 upcharge in my opinion! My farro burger was pretty tasty as well (it was mixed with carrot and had good flavor but was a touch dry). Once I added the vegan curry mayo that comes on the side that spiced it right up! We asked for more water multiple times before she got us another pitcher as well. Overall a nice place to stop in for some good eats, but make sure you have plenty of time because the service isn't too quick.
