Great food here, expect NYC deli dining experience and you will not be disappointed. The food was very tasty and flavorful as expected, the standout from our order was the pastrami cheese steak. The pastrami cheese steak has red and green peppers, onions, Swiss and of course pastrami. The roll used was of high quality and it stated together which is important! Lastly, the pickle bar was included in all orders which was a great added touch! They also serve doctor browns here :)

King of Prussia has been missing a deli since Michaels' closed. There has been a yearly survey asking the same question - What does Upper Merion need. Every year, "Jewish Deli" came out #1. Good Friday, we got our wish when The Kibitz Room opened, and it's been well worth the wait. Have been there numerous times, never disappointed. Great food (pastrami, corned beef, latkes, MATZO BALLS - yeah, they are huge) and just about anything else you could ask for. Fan of pickles? Yup, there's a pickle bar there. We've done Dine In and take out. Wife always reminds me to get pickles when we take out. Expensive? Um, it's not cheap. You need to factor in that it's 2025, and the quality of food, and portions are huge. Most of the time there's like a $4 or maybe $5 price difference between a half, and a full sandwich. Easy decision, get the full sandwich, and take half home for another meal. Atmosphere is fine, just tends a bit too noisy for me, but, no more than any other deli. Almost forgot - the bakery is 12/10. Just look at the pics. Highly recommend. We've met friends there that have a different local deli, and the preferred The Kibitz Room.

OK, the food was absolutely wonderful. I’ve actually been going to this place since I was a child, but the one in Jersey.. However, upon entering the restaurant, I visited with my father and the stares from the customers were alarming. I’m not sure if they’re not used to seeing a black father and daughter or just Blacks dine here at all. We were the only blacks dining at the time. As far as atmosphere, the dishes at the pickle bar were quite dirty. The bathroom was not the cleanest and out of paper towel. We were also asked where we taking out as we were sitting at a table with menus. The actual food was good. The service was mediocre not really tentative. However, the food did come out pretty fast.

I just ordered for the first time via Door Dash. First of all, let me state how wonderful it is to have a Jewish style restaurant in the area. Very seldomly do I get to eat my own people's food without having to make it myself. Now let's get to it: I had the Liver Kinish and the Lox, White Fish Salad, Kippered Salmon sandwich. Omg was it good! It was ALL incredible. The liver was done perfectly; I'm a snob with this and they hit it out of the park. Brilliant flavor without that livery twang. Plus it was STUFFED well! Now the Sandwich; Wow! The sandwich was incredible. Everything was done so well and it was huge! Plenty of each type of fish on the sandwich. Very happy with my purchase!

I was super excited to learn that a Jewish deli was coming to KoP, especially one with a great reputation like Kibitz Room. Lemme tell you, it has not disappointed. I’ve been 3 times since it opened and been straight to pastrami nirvana each time. People might think the sandwiches are expensive but it’s easily enough food for 2 meals. There’s an unlimited pickle bar included with every visit (even takeout!) which is as lovely as it sounds. Particularly love the pickled cherry peppers. I got a pastrami egg and cheese sandwich today and it’s easily the best breakfast sandwich I’ve tried in/around KoP. I’ve only ordered pastrami every time I’ve gone and I don’t think that will change, it’s just too good to pass up. Wife has gotten a couple of the specialty fish sandwiches and has loved them. Highly recommend, well worth the trip!

This place is great. An absolute gem. If you are in KOP, you must come. Great food, and they are creative with the pastrami. The pastrami cheesesteak is great. Yes, the price is kinda higher than I would like, but you get a lot of food for the price. You need to come here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Yes, it’s that good of a place. and a great opportunity to support a small business.

This area needed a Jewish deli/restaurant bad! So I was thrilled upon learning Kibitz Room would be opening in KOP! I've been in a bunch since their soft opening - but there was nothing soft about it! They hit the ground running and were rocking and rolling immediately! They are no amateurs when it comes to the deli game, running delis for many years. Sure, there were some kinks in the very beginning, but what new spot doesn't?? The food has been phenomenal and consistent every time! Everything I've tried hasn't been just good, it's been GREAT! Those kinks I mentioned earlier...I got a corned beef reuben by accident vs pastrami or a salami "pancake" omelette vs pastrami (gotta admit they sound alike, that one could've been my fault lol). Both occasions I kept the "mistake" and they gave me the correct order to-go (my barber was really happy, he said the pastrami omelette was amazing 😁). They do AMAZING catering for real! Brought that fish tray to my mom's for Mother's Day and they recently catered at my office for almost 100 people! Everyone raved about the food and beautiful presentation - really made me look like a hero! My favorite thing to date (and last thing I had) was the hot brisket platter with mashed potatoes and roasted veggies - O.M.G. 🤯 Oh, you'll notice some items seem a bit pricey, but there's a reason for that - QUALITY. They make everything in house, meats, salads, bakery items (try the cherry Hamantaschen!!). I've had pastrami at all the top places in Philly and surrounding area - KR is top notch and well worth it. Besides the awesome food, the owners are really great people that love making people happy and keeping them well-fed. The staff are all super friendly and also passionate about satisfying guests. Great culture. It's a very welcoming, comfortable, clean space that makes you feel like family. Oh, and the pickle bar is pretty sweet! 😏
