King of Prussia has been missing a deli since Michaels' closed. There has been a yearly survey asking the same question - What does Upper Merion need. Every year, "Jewish Deli" came out #1. Good Friday, we got our wish when The Kibitz Room opened, and it's been well worth the wait. Have been there numerous times, never disappointed. Great food (pastrami, corned beef, latkes, MATZO BALLS - yeah, they are huge) and just about anything else you could ask for.
Fan of pickles? Yup, there's a pickle bar there. We've done Dine In and take out. Wife always reminds me to get pickles when we take out.
Expensive? Um, it's not cheap. You need to factor in that it's 2025, and the quality of food, and portions are huge. Most of the time there's like a $4 or maybe $5 price difference between a half, and a full sandwich. Easy decision, get the full sandwich, and take half home for another meal.
Atmosphere is fine, just tends a bit too noisy for me, but, no more than any other deli.
Almost forgot - the bakery is 12/10. Just look at the pics.
Highly recommend. We've met friends there that have a different local deli, and the preferred The Kibitz Room.
