"Situated in a magical, highly remote location on Scotland's west coast, this roadside inn is a welcoming place from the moment you enter, with the team exuding a genuine warmth and hospitality. Choose between the "Chef's Menu" and the great value "Bib Gourmand Menu", both of which display the chefs' pride in their local produce, including plenty from the nearby Kilberry Estate. The cooking is classic at its core, avoiding unnecessary gimmicks in favour of honest, satisfying dishes. Stay overnight to see more of the beautiful surroundings." - Michelin Inspector

Love the place, having been a customer both for food and also overnight stays since the 1990s, with 3 different owners. There has always been a warm welcome from the hosts and the food is always delicious. A couple of minor room teething problems (this time) were very efficiently dealt with by the lovely front of house lady, and the unique atmosphere of the hotel and its super staff made next years visit eagerly anticipated. Well done and please keep up the good work.

Enjoyed possibly the best meal of my life at The Kilberry Inn yesterday evening - and I’m no spring chicken. Delicious food beautifully presented. Tasteful setting. Busy - all tables taken - but we were still made to feel special. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Relaxed and unpretentious. Well worth the effort getting there.

We have been going to the Kilberry Inn for years and it was always an annual treat. Last year it changed hands and you wonder if it will be the same. We shouldn't have worried. Of course there are differences particularly in the style of the hosts and the previous hosts were superb but the new team were excellent. ||The welcome from Daniel was so good, his enthusiasm was infectious and his service so very good. Then you meet Chloe and get that same feeling of someone who want to make you feel so welcome. Chef Joseph served excellent food, for me seafood heaven the Monkfish Tail, wow. He came out later to have a chat, a nice touch. Behind the scenes in the Kitchen and I am sure he was doing an excellent job.||The owners have made some lovely changes in terms of decor, subtle but very good (not sure about they way the bar had been closed in a bit). But here is a challenge to them. You have a great team in place this season, try and keep them in place for next season as they are superb. If you do that then people will travel to return.

We had the absolute pleasure of spending the night before our wedding at Kilberry Inn, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The staff were amazing – warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive, making us feel completely at home from the moment we arrived. The rooms were decorated beautifully and the personal touches made our stay even more special. The dog bed, hand written welcome notes, flower bouquets and welcome cake made the welcome very homely. The little dog teddy on the bed was a very special touch for me. We appreciated the little touches personal to our stay. The food was outstanding – every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented, clearly prepared with care and creativity. Not to mention the extensive whisky range and the staffs knowledge made it a very personal experience. It felt like a real treat and added something truly memorable to our special weekend. The cosy atmosphere made the whole experience feel personal and intimate. Kilberry Inn is a gem of a place, and we’re so grateful to the team for making it such a wonderful evening. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, character, and fantastic hospitality!

A fabulous, secluded, peaceful hotel set in beautiful countryside. The staff are so welcoming and the room we had was super clean and tastefully decorated. Some lovely touches- fresh milk in the room, freshly baked cake offered soon after arrival, wild flowers on the dinner table, board games and real fires. The bed and linens were of excellent quality and very comfortable. The food was sublime, some of the best meals we have had anywhere in the world - local ingredients cooked beautifully and with great skill. Lovely wines too.|We will definitely be back.

Absolutely amazing. Everything about the Kilberry Inn is just a wonderful experience in hospitality. Daniel, Chloe and Chef are an amazing team. The bar serves a lovely array of ales and whisky. Both the dinner service and breakfast are locally sourced and very well prepared. People that care about what they do make all the difference - I cannot recommend it highly enough. (Bear in mind that this place is pretty much in the middle of nowhere and requires some effort to get to- it is completely worth it!!)

We had a wonderful dinner at the Kilberry Inn. An absolutely lovely restaurant at a beautiful, remote location on the Scottish coast. The food was delicious (the single best lamb I ever had!), the selection of drinks is precise (I can understand why the pudding wine from Cyprus sells out so quickly!), and the service was perfect: highly professional and highly sympathetic. We enjoyed it so much that we had to come back the day after for drinks in the late afternoon. Happy, happy days!

Wonderful DB&B stay atThe Kilberry Inn . Be prepared for the single track journey to get there! but this scenic drive is Scotland at its best and the warm welcome at Kilberry is superb . The team , now managing Kilberry,Danny and Chloe ,are super hosts . They have it just right . The right combination of friendly ,knowledgeable and professional service. The food was delicious, local produce, scallops, oysters and beautifully prepared venison. The room was very warm and comfortable , the heating was on !! July in Scotland 😂 . |All in all ,the Kilberry inn is a wonderful experience.
