I attended my first performance at the Klein last night and was very impressed with both the venue and how well it was run. Parking was easy to navigate, and with the amount of security guards and parking attendants, it was worth the extra $5. The venue is right across the street from the parking lot, and there was staff at the edge of the lot checking IDs and giving out wristbands for alcohol purchases, making it easy to get a beer right away once we got inside. My tickets were will call, and the ticket lines were so organized that I didn't even have to wait for them.
The venue itself was very nice inside. It was clean, there were multiple stations for beer, wine, and concessions, and there was not a bad seat in the house. The auditorium feels a little like a nicer high school auditorium or college theater, but that's not a bad thing. Sound quality was very good, you could see the stage from anywhere in the auditorium, and the seats were roomy enough so we didn't feel cramped. We saw Neutral Milk Hotel, who were fantastic, and it was a great time. If an artist or show I'm interested in seeing comes through here again, I'd be happy to come back.
