This place is such a great place for events,.. who knew this place could be so welcoming 🤗 and such a beautiful view of the water at night.

I had the pleasure to photograph a Bat Mitzvah celebration. Photographing a Bat Mitzvah is important because it captures a pivotal and meaningful moment in a young person's life, preserving memories of their coming of age within the Jewish community. This milestone is rich with religious, cultural, and personal significance, making photography an essential part of the celebration. Knowlton is a unique, waterfront event venue in Fairfield County and I highly recommend it.

The artist experience here is amazing! Love all around! Also no better art venue in terms of the area. Right on the water! Has such beautiful sunsets!

Held my daughters Sweet 16. Turned out to be a beautiful event. Don’t let the location of this place fool you. It’s a hidden gem! The staff and event coordinators were professional and thorough. Would definitely recommend.

The Knowlton is an Artist Loft and event space. There are 3 event spaces depending on the size of your event. A beautiful hidden gem in the City of Bridgeport. Whatever your event, there is a space to accommodate you and your guests.

The Knowlton was the perfect venue for our daughter's bat mitzvah and Shiran and the Knowlton team made the whole process easy and stress free. The space looked absolutely magical and all of the high tech lighting and electronics transformed the room. Highly recommend - such a special venue!

The Knowlton is absolutely one of Fairfield County's hidden gems. It’s a captivating indoor and outdoor space with a unique charm and a spectacular outdoor view that offers a glimpse into Bridgeport’s storied industrial era. The event spaces lends itself to any type of event from weddings and social gatherings to corporate events in either the Armstrong Gallery, the 9,000 square foot Boatyard or a convenient outdoor event. Shiran Nicholson, the owner of The Knowlton, is great to work with. He’s multifaceted in that he has a tremendous amount of experience as an entertainer, DJ, Emcee, photographer and event planner. I highly recommend considering the Knowlton for your event.

Impressive mural park outside + gorgeous galleries, and huge event spaces inside! The staff has been amazing, they always work with me to create beautiful lighting, the right music for my crowd, plus the artists in the main building are truly talented. Great art everywhere! This place is perfect for small and large parties, photoshoots, artists who want community, and anything creative you've got going on.

Event space. Art gallery. Artist & maker studios. Rental space. Party space. It's a creative and flexible space along the river with a focus on community and the arts. It's a hidden creative community with passion for growth and cultivating great things. I dig it.

My husband and I had our cocktail hour and wedding reception at the Boathouse at the Knowlton. I cannot express how absolutely amazing this venue is. It will WOW your guest in more ways than one and it was a STUNNING place to take pictures! I should start off by saying Shiran and Sandy are a DREAM TEAM. They helped me from start to finish a year in advance with my wedding through me panicking and wanting to see the venue about 1,000 times for my "vision". They were always happy to give advice and to open up the doors for me! The day before we were let in to drop some things off which was great so we didn't have to worry the day of. Most venues don't allow that so I am so happy they did. There is ample parking and the space is new and beautiful. Shiran did a GREAT job with the lighting (such a talented jack of all trades). Do not hesitate to book this place... it was our favorite part of our wedding and our guests too! Open and airy (we were able to keep the huge doors open to the deck on the river). We can't recommend it enough! P.S. It was amazing to see all of our friends change their profile pictures to them in front of all of the murals at the venue!

Rental pricing is extremely high for area residents. Creating a space that locals cannot afford to use is unfair on many different levels.

Best venue for our holiday party! Shiran was amazing to work with. The lighting, seating, and extras we requested were perfect! Shiran was also the DJ and game host. Everyone had a wonderful time and still talks about the party. We will definitely book The Knowlton again!
