I adore this grocery store. We drive across the Twin Cities to shop here for kosher food items. The owner and staff are wonderful: they are helpful, polite, and treat us like family. They carry kosher meat, dairy, and parve items, as well as Israeli items that are hard or impossible to find in other grocery stores. They will special order items on request. They also have tons of baked goods and some deli selections if you want an easy and good knosh. I am very grateful we have such a fine store!

I was really surprised by the large selection and the massive variety of food products in The Kosher Shop. From baked goods to dairy-Chalav Yisrael, glat meat, and even fast food. It is neat, clean, and pleasant; the staff also went above and beyond to assist me. Their helpful and friendly nature made my experience of buying kosher food here truly enjoyable.

Good food, staff are professional, however, I am not a huge fan of the vibe here, and it's not the most welcoming place I have been to.

Kosher chicken, steak, ground beef, deli items, pickles, and more are available, and of high quality. The owner and staff are helpful and accommodating of special needs and request. For example they have researched ingredients for me due to allergies. I go to the store wearing a mask due to my immune system issues and the ongoing pandemic, and they have helped stay safer when checking out by allowing me to take pull the receipt myself, and showing me how to wave my card over the chip scanner.

Yelp
I was super excited to check out the Kosher Spot as there are far less Jewish restaurants and stores out in the Midwest than I am used to in New York. The store is right next to a kosher sushi spot which is pretty convenient for those who keep kosher. When I walked in, it was quite crowded with a lot of other Jews ( I am also Jewish) which I always take as a great sign, but the selection was super limited compared to what I am used to and the prices were incredibly high for most normal items. I know there is always a large markup for kosher items, but this was significantly higher than I have seen before and seemed to apply to items which are generally kosher by default like oil and other regular household supplies. Furthermore, a lot of the items have no price tag - especially the freezer section which made me have no idea what I was going to pay until I got up front. I ended up leaving with a box of frozen knishes (7.99) and a refrigerated pair of knishes (4.99). The refrigerated section knishes were delicious, I heated them back up in the oven when I got home and really enjoyed it. Much better than the knish I had at Cecil's. But as a store, the prices are way too high for me to give a higher rating even though it is nice to see a kosher store.

Yelp
A kosher grocery store is very needed and Kosher Spot does a great job. There is a great variety of Kosher items and everyone is very helpful there. I especially like shopping there during holidays where you can pick up items for Purim, Passover, Hanukah or other holidays. There is also a nice Kosher meat selection and you can also order online from there if there is a needed item. Lately they also have had a wonderful hot food mini deli where you can get items such as salads, cooked meat dishes and sandwiches as well. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Drove from Eden Prairie in order to get some kosher food I can eat. Was pleased with the selection of kosher products, as well as the take out from the deli next door that they had in the supermarket.

Yelp
I stopped by here for some Shabbos essentials. This place has a little of everything, including fleishigs, nash, and challah. This is a great quick stop grocery, right next to the Kollel, two shuls, and a Kosher Deli. Great place, perfect location.

Yelp
I love this place -- they have everything you need to make kosher meals, and the owners/workers are so personable!! Very friendly place to shop. Plus, now they have rugelach from Marzipan Bakery in Israel!!
