Orange County’s the Kroft Opens in LA Selling Canadian-Style Poutine - Eater LA

"The Kroft is a well-known purveyor of poutine, offering a variety of loaded fries flavors and sandwiches. The new Los Angeles location is set to open next month at the base of the Jia Apartments building in Chinatown. Owner Stephen Le has faced numerous delays since signing the lease in 2016, but he is determined to finally open the doors. The Kroft joins other new restaurants and shops in a rapidly gentrifying neighborhood, with Le aiming to recreate the success of its Anaheim location, which opened in 2014 and quickly became popular." - Brian Addison

Overall, a great spot to kick it at, they had the basketball game going on the flat screen, so that mad eating there even more enjoyable. Big sis treated me to a parmesan chicken sandwich, fries, and cucumber mint lemonade. It was all good. 👍🏽 Most definitely a place you should check out.

Google
The cheese steak, wagyu smash burger, regular fries and spicy fries all tasted great. The cheese steak earns it's name with the amount of cheese and steak in the bread. Usually smash burgers can be on the smaller side but this one was big and filling. I will be back to try some of the other items on the menu

If you are hungry and have a hankering for burgers or fries or burger patties with fries, head to Kroft!! Calling them a poutine restaurant is limiting what they serve as they also have fried chicken and smashburgers. I had the yummy BBQ wagyu Smash Fries (loaded w fried onion strings & BBQ sauce and two cheesy patties) and wished I had two other people to share it with! Their portions are very generous. Great service too!! Really friendly and helpful guys working behind the counter. There are several tables and a large TV in the dining area (it was playing a Rams game when I went). I think they validate parking for the attached garage? There are two other locations but this is the only one in LA. It’s not far from me but I wonder how well it does bc the location is randomly at the entrance to Chinatown with little pedestrian traffic. The homemade blueberry or strawberry or lime &mint lemonades are also very refreshing and delicious!!

Great comfort food at a solid value. Smash burger and chicken parm sandwich were both delicious. Service was friendly. Will definitely return to try more items.

Google
The Kroft is just perfect. They have the best burgers and fries and all sorts of other items. It is all great. It is all cooked to perfection and it is all served with care. At Kroft you order at the counter and then get your food. There are plenty of places to sit or you can get takeaway. They also deliver. When you walk in you notice the most wonderful smell. It is burgers fried so great. The place is just adorable and it is ever so clean. You will love the service. They are all super nice and can guide you through the menu. Our favorite is their burger and fries, but they also have BLTs, grilled cheese, Poutine, cheese steaks, fried sprouts, mac and cheese (oh my), and many more items. If they have the ingredients they will make it for you. Everything is fresh, made to order. The beef they use is some of the best I have ever had and whatever you want on your fries they will add it. It is just a great time, so relaxing and ever so tasty. You are going to love it and come back. Have a great meal.

Google
My boyfriend found this new place and we decided to give it a try bc we had been craving a good burger. Needless to say , it didn't disappoint. I loved their smashed style burger. The meat was full of flavor and so were the fries, very crispy and enjoyable. I really liked their list of toppings to put on your burger: mushrooms and fried egg. Love it . There's more toppings but those are the ones I like the most. Will definitely go back 👍🏾

Google
Max 5star but will try another time and will definitely try their loaded Fries called Puttinnn! Biria Eggroll was new but don't recommend to try it! unless curious like myself. Parking is a challenge unless in the back of building they have assign Parking for clients. Tried their loaded Fries too, still a 4star max! it's about taste n quality.

Google
Had a great experience here, and glad they set up in Chinatown. The wagyu spicy jack smashburger - 2 patties, jack cheese, grilled onions, candied bacon, sautéed mushrooms, garlic mayo on brioche bun - was fire. My buddy enjoyed his chicken katsu curry poutine as well. Reasonable price and great service, will be back!

Yelp
My family and I had a great experience from the moment we walked in. The cashier was friendly and even let my curious son sample the drinks at the counter. We ordered the following items: the Wagyu Smash Burger, Wagyu Spicy Jack Smash Burger, French fries, and jalapeño coleslaw. The food was fresh and full of flavor. Honestly, everything was delicious. We also tried their fresh lemonade, which was unique. Both the food and service were amazing! I highly recommend checking them out when you're in town--there are plenty of things to do in the area. We visited on a Saturday night, and finding parking in the structure adjacent to the building was a bit challenging.

Yelp
I love the food here! Definitely a very underrated place as I was surprised to see how empty it was on a Saturday afternoon. The portions are so big and definitely worth the price. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan Sandwich and my boyfriend tried the Double Wagyu Smash Burger. It was definitely one of the best Chicken Parms I've ever had. The chicken was thick and juicy with a thin panko crust coat! You can tell they use real chicken! It also comes with a generous amount of marinara sauce and cheese, which I really appreciated. The Double Wagyu Smash Burger was decent, but nothing extraordinary. It was so filling for the both of us, and I loved the soft, toasted Brioche bun that they use. The wait time for the food was around 10 minutes. Because their establishment has an open kitchen, it is EXTREMELY LOUD inside. It was somewhat difficult to have a conversation because of how noisy the kitchen was. Overall, the food quality is good and so worth the price!

Yelp
Max 5star but will revisit another time and will surely try their loaded Fries called Puttinnn! Biria Eggroll was new but don't recommend to try it! unless curious like myself. Parking is tricky unless in the rear of building they have reserved Parking for clients. Tried their loaded Fries too, still a 4star max! it's about taste n quality.

Yelp
Chicken was kinda over cooked And stringy. The breading had no seasoning to give it an edge. Service was good and nice. That's a one and done. The Mac and cheese was decent and creamy

Yelp
Update review We were craving a burger so of course we went back to the Kroft. However this time, we decided to try a burger and the Philly cheesesteak. Loved both! I'm a fan of Philly cheesesteaks and the meat was marinated perfectly. I hope more people check this place out or order delivery. You won't be disappointed.

Yelp
This place is SO GOOD! We order for the office quite often and the food has always arrived fresh, hot, flavorful and very professionally wrapped, packaged AND labeled; which is extremely helpful with a ravenous group of hungry mongrels. There is no one in my office that's ever had this food and did not like what they ordered.
google avatar

Elle K.

Yelp
I have dined here on multiple occasions and consistently found the food to satisfy my cravings. Parking is readily available in the rear lot. Its location in Chinatown offers convenient access to numerous restaurants and tourist attractions. The site's proximity to the freeway ensures easy access, and the service is consistently satisfactory.

Yelp
This place is a great spot to grab a nice sandwich & fries. I've been here about 2 or 3 times. They have free parking in the apartment building the restaurant sits in. Clean establishment, the staff has been pleasant on all occasions. I love their chicken Parmesan sandwich. The chicken is always juicy and crunchy. I also like how it comes with a side of marinara for me to add at my leisure. I typically get fries with the secret sauce. Love the strawberry lemonade. It's not too sweet or too tart. The portions are large, I always end up taking the other half of my sandwich home. They typically have a game going on the large TV. NOW, this place is located in Chinatown where there is a bit of a homeless population battling mental issues. So I would just advise being vigilant and humane.

Yelp
The perfect place to get the heaviest, most decadent lunch that will leave you in a coma for hours. The quality of the food is solid! The Cubano is a 10/10. Unbelievable balance of flavors. The perfect Cubano is smashed so thin the ingredients melt together yet you can pick out each part of it. Would try this again for sure. The fried cheese curds were fine. A little on the bland side surprisingly. Doesn't seem like the breadcrumbs were seasoned. Poutine fries were fine. Nothing else really stood out here.
google avatar

Ernesto B.

Yelp
Great smash burger, great customer service, different than any burger I've ever had, pleasant surprise.
google avatar

Elle L.

Yelp
Hard not to love this place. Stringy cheese, decadent toppings over hot crispy fries? It's the perfect comfort meal or ultimate after drinks meal. The wait is never too long and it's never too crowded, although the space has few seats. Egg on top is a must as well.
google avatar

Jenny K.

Yelp
YUM! The bread was soft and all the parts of the sandwich worked well with each other. There were good portions of chicken in the sandwich which I appreciated. Overall very solid sandwich but it tasted standard. There wasn't much that differentiated it from any other chicken sandwich place.

Yelp
The Kroft started in OC i believe; like near Anaheim packing district. Happy to have this place join the neighborhood. You can park at the complex in retail lot. Its a good fat juicy burger and hits the spot. Is 20$ the new norm for burgers now?

Yelp
Came here for a yelp event so I was hyped to return. I ordered the two piece birria egg roll with dipping gravy and it was very good. Definitely a lot of beef. Actually only beef which was a little disappointing, but it still tasted good. I highly recommend dipping your egg roll into the dipping gravy. I HATED my jalapeno coleslaw!! I swear, there was mostly jalapeno in it!! I set it aside because it got way to hot to eat. After I pushed all the jalapeno aside, there literally was nothing left except some red onion. Very disappointing. Would I come back? Sure, but definitely not ordering the coleslaw again. Service was good. Free parking in the structure.

Yelp
I visited The Kroft as part of the "Treat O'Clock in DTLA" promo organized by Margaret. I didn't know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. A couple of tips: 1. Street parking can be tough in that part of Chinatown, however the venue is part of a new commercial complex and immediately north (on the west side) you will find the parking structure. No fee, if under 2 hours, however I had no issues as the parking control arms were up. 2. If you are participating in the promo.....SCROLL all the way down on the Yelp App (the Kroft) and look for the "check-in" button, as you will need that to get the 25% discount. The venue is new and has an open feel. They have a nice variety of sandwiches. I opted for the Cubano and the Fried Chicken sandwich. Both were well prepared on a french roll (may have been a brioche??). Anyway, the Cubano was very tasty. As for the chicken sandwich it comes with heat and after further inspection I noticed slices of jalapeno. No problem with me as I love the spice and the heat (for those who might be sensitive, I simply would have them omit it or put it on the side). The chix was a nicely fried breast. I ordered to go but there is plenty of seating. Staff was very friendly and my order was called within a reasonable time. Due to their overall selection. I will be returning. Thanks to Maggie for organizing the promo and of course to the owners for being willing to introduce a new business.

Yelp
I grew up in OC and had the Kroft before in Anaheim and Long Beach, so I was really excited when they opened one up in Chinatown to show my husband who has never been. The space is underneath the Jia apartment complex, so it's not huge spacewise but has very high ceilings. The workers were very nice and helped me figure out how to apply the Yelp check-in offer for Treat O'Clock. We ordered a braised beef poutine (a classic), and the food took about 10-15 minutes to come out. The poutine was a lot more drenched/saucier than I remember, but it was still just as delicious. The braised beef and mushrooms had lots of umami, and the thick gravy with melted cheese made for a flavor bomb. The pickled red onions were really necessary to help cut through the richness of the whole dish, and the fries thoroughly soaked up the gravy when you got to the bottom. One poutine is enough for 2 people to share, so we didn't get the opportunity to try any other food. But next time I want to come back to The Kroft for their sandwiches or unique egg rolls!

Yelp
I'm not a huge smash burger fan BUT they do offer other sandwiches and loaded fries. We ordered the Double Wagyu Smash Cheeseburger Combo (comes with a drink and fries, we got the garlic fries) & Cubano sandwich with regular fries. The Cubano was delicious and I would definitely come back again for it! I also highly recommend the garlic fries over regular fries. It's a casual spot and there is plenty of indoor seating. The staff was friendly and if you dined in, they brought the food to your table. There is a parking garage. It was free when we went (no ticket needed to enter/exit) or it's free for the first 2 hours with a validation from Starbucks.

Yelp
Really great food! Excellent service. I had the Loco Moco, I can't wait to try the rest of the menu.

Yelp
We stopped here for Saturday lunch. The area is not nice, kind of trashy NYC vibes and the restaurant isn't really suitable for a sit down meal. Few tables, but not good vibe. That said, food was outstanding. Best cheesesteak I've had in LA and the classic poutine was tasty. Fries are thicker cut but good crisp, and while the gravy / cheese curds are a bit salty, get side dipping sauce and you're golden. Only knock would be the roll the cheesesteak came on. It gives off "took this out of bag from grocery store" vibes, but the meat/,cheeze/garlic aioli filling is really, really good. Griddled thin slices of steak, cooked to perfection. Will be back for sure, just maybe for pickup only.

Yelp
Ok, we had just driven 570 miles over 9 hours drive to our hotel and had no idea where to eat. We found The Kroft just by their menu selection. Boy was I right!!!! The delivery was quick and ALL of the items we ordered were hot and fresh. I had the Birria egg rolls with dipping consume the flavor was 10/10! Hot and crispy egg rolls. I also had the Beef with gravy on French fries, again 10/10. My wife had a chicken sandwich with jalapeño Cole slaw and yes 10/10. Sorry no pictures, but the pictures on their site are spot on. Great meal, we're ordering again tonight.

Yelp
BLUF: Classic Poutine (oh hell yeah), Wagyu Smash Burger (Yes plus), Porchetta (Yes) Need to tell you the food here is pretty dang good. Not sure what I was expecting in terms of ambiance but it wasn't this. The Kroft is a basic burger place that has a lot more than burgers. My wife introduced me to Poutine when we took a trip to Canada last year so for this LA boy having it here in LA was a treat. Got the classic Poutine with gravy and hot fries. All I can say is that it was dynamite! The Smash burger rivals any of the others here in LA (see my other reviews). The meat was fresh, made to order and hot. The bun was just as fresh as the meat. This burger may just be the best one in LA! My buddy ordered the Porchetta and he raved about it. Said he was going to bring his dad here to taste it and the Poutine. Overall a great eating experience. One more thing, the cashier and workers here were super friendly!

Yelp
When planning my recent trip to SoCal I stumbled upon The Kroft. I bookmarked it in my LA private Yelp collection. Of the many places I visited this past week between LA and San Diego, this was one of the restaurants I was most excited to try. Smash burgers? Lots of poutine options? Whaaaaat? Sign me up!!! I asked the cashier, who was very nice and helpful, if she thought I could finish a smash burger and a poutine. She was honest (thank you) and said no - realistically I should pick one or the other since the poutines are on the large side and meant for sharing. So I ordered the best of both worlds - the Wagyu Smash Fries. Or so I thought. It was so salty it was almost inedible. For reference, I hardly ever eat fast food, most often frequent "mom and pop" type restaurants (not chains), and I use very little salt when I cook at home. To be fair, I made a point to taste each component of this item to see if any one of them was responsible for the "too salty" conclusion. Nope. Every component was too salty except for the grilled onions. And maybe the fries, which were cooked perfectly. It was hard to tell since the fries were the canvas for everything else and potatoes are good at sucking up salt. Would you love it when drunk? Yeah probably. Would you love it if you eat a lot of fast food? Yes because it is higher quality, at an acceptable price point, and you are already used to these salt levels. I actually thought I was going to eat here 2-3 times while staying in the area because there were multiple menu items that called to me. But the one experience was enough. If virtually every ingredient of my order was way too salty, and most menu items are just derivatives of the same small number of ingredients, why would I want to take that IQ test by trying a different item?

Yelp
I really wanted to like this place. The menu read well and my guy and I were so excited to try out the food. We picked up our food, so I didn't really get to check out the seating arrangements. It looked like an open seating place. There were a few people inside and it was clean. My beef sandwich was a soggy mess and my guy's sandwich had no flavor, not to mention the order was done within five minutes of us ordering for pickup. So, we know that food was sitting a while and it definitely looked it and tasted as such. Actually, even the employee on the phone was surprised when she told me it was ready. She knew we had just put our order in online less than five minutes from the call. I even made a comment about it being done that quick, doubting it was the right order. But, she assured me it was ours. So you know that I'm a fan of poutine and search out the best poutine fries in LA, so for sure I wanted this meal. The poutine was a flat yellow rubbery thing mixed in with the sauce, meat and fries. I was not happy. I did call to complain and the supervisor knew the order was not up to par. He refunded my money and told us to come back when he was cooking and it would be as we expected. We will go back to check it out again. Maybe earlier in the day and also when the supervisor is there. I let him know my guy was a chef and kept telling me, "I don't think they executed that the way the chef intended." For me, that means the menu is great, the food combinations are well thought out, but the execution was wrong that night. So, I'm not telling you not to go and check it out. I'm just saying that for this night, the food was not fresh or cooked well. I'm sure on any other night or day, it is an amazing experience, one I'd like to try out since I'd love to have another place to buy my poutine fries.

Yelp
We stopped by for lunch on the weekend, and we're shocked that it was so empty at noon on a Sunday. This place is way too good to be so empty! Smash burgers are so delicious and were cooked perfectly. So much flavor, delicious, crispy, edges. The garlic french fries were also very good, and we loved the birria egg rolls! They also have a Yelp check that gives you 25% off your purchase, so make sure to take advantage of that. We didn't realize that until after we paid, and they were nice enough to , reverse 25% off of the bill and put it back on our credit card after we ask them. Nephew the owner was manning the grill, and he spoke to us and told us a little bit about the business. I highly recommend this place and think you should give it a try if you're anywhere near Chinatown, or Long Beach, and I believe they have locations in Orange County as well. You couldn't ask for a nicer staff or better food!

Yelp
I picked up food here and had the Cubano with truffle fries for lunch. Parking is in the back of the Jia apartments with the entrance on Broadway. The Cubano sandwich comes with ham, pork and sauce. I ordered mine without pickles (it even said it on the receipt), but somehow ended up with pickles in my sandwich. I probably got caught in the lunch rush. Since the fries were packaged and it took a while until I finally ate them, they were soggy, but still tasty.
google avatar

Elliott W.

Yelp
Absolute garbage! Everything about this place sucked. Went in to try their french dip and they were out of the meat to make it. This was at noon on a Wednesday. Also out of the philly sandwich. Also out of the birria egg rolls. I settled for the chicken parm with fries and both were awful. The fries had an off taste like they were cooked in old oil. The chicken parm sandwich had a brittle coating and a bitter tomato sauce to go with it. This was one of the worst meals I've ever had and I threw it away and left after 3 bites. The owner of this place should stand trial.
google avatar

Sergio G.

Yelp
This place was really good, I had the Spicy Jack Smash Cheeseburger with fries and I have no complaints! I could actually taste the spice, mushrooms, candied bacon and talk about cheese. Loren was great and very helpful with offering suggestions. The place was clean and had a chill vibe. I'll definitely return.
google avatar

Jennifer D.

Yelp
It could just be us but this place is complete overkill on the flavors. We ordered the smash burger with the pepper jack and it was delicious just after the first bite it was overkill on flavors and very spicy. Same experience with the loaded fries. We ordered the BBQ ones and...overkill on the flavors, way too much BBQ sauce that we couldn't even eat most of the fries at the bottom. Staff was kind and advised against ordering something on the menu. They seem to be popular or at least had a good amount of business while we were there. Unfortunately I wouldn't return.
google avatar

Melimited T.

Yelp
Got the original smash burger with garlic fries. The bun was soft and warm, best bun ever had. Meat was good, a bit salty. Fries was mediocre, not much garlic tastes or graded cheese in top. maybe would return.

Yelp
Loveeee this place but I was a little disappointed they didn't have the yummy Porchetta sandwich when I went to this location. I settled for their smash burger and it was delicious! Dropping with beefy goodness, melty cheese, delicious pickles, drooling right now thinking about it. I also got the braised beef poutine! Ohhhhhweeeee, crispy fries, gravy was perfectly rich and flavorful and that soft cheese curd made it the perfect bite. Can't wait to go back for my Porchetta sando next visit!

Yelp
The Kroft is great for when you want to indulge in fried food and heavier meals (burgers, fries, etc). The Chinatown location is near the 110 freeway on Broadway and is a nice stop before hopping on the freeway or before driving through Downtown. Service is fast here too!
google avatar

Michiel D.

Yelp
Absolutely amazing wagyu smash burgers. The Kroft's Chinatown location is easily accessible by car (parking next door), and did not disappoint. The chef was super friendly and helpful. You could tell he's dedicated to the craft and committed to the growth of restaurant. We tried the birria eggrolls (nothing short of amazing), the spicy jack wagyu burger (candied bacon and sautéed mushrooms both a huge plus), the regular wagyu burger (pickles are slightly overpowering), and truffle garlic fries. The place also offers some creative condiments like a pineapple habanero ketchup and wagyu horseradish mix. The only thing keeping us distracted from the amazing food were a couple of mosquitoes that somehow made their way inside, and a slight desire of having solid AC.

Yelp
Not happy. Had the egg rolls-So Bland. Double fried Fries definitely weren't double fried. Brussels-Boring Mac n cheese-just ok. All for $43. No Thank You

Yelp
Saw TK on Yelp looking nearby in Chinatown doing errands. Porchetta pics and reviews enticed a visit. The Porchetta sando $13 was incredible. soft grilled ciabatta, tender flar packed pork, cracklings cool arugula and a green sauce. Man a total ten. I thought it looked small, because it was but its slso not 16-18 bucks so value and quality very good. Couldn't stop there, so added a house specialty Smash Burger Poutine $13. Two great burgers with cheese, hot grilled onions and a decent medium portion of fries. Asked for well done and they were. Really elevated food. The bathrooms are locked, very clean and theres a handwashing sink located outside the room. Service was friendly offering a water cup.

Yelp
Been excited to try this place ever since I saw signs for its opening earlier this year! I've tried their original location at The Hangar in Long Beach, and I have to say their classic poutine are close to as legit as what our Canadians neighbors have, but their unique poutine creations are what makes them stand out. There's not a lot of people who may know this place has even opened, so when my friend and I went seating was plenty and service was quick and prompt. It also makes a nice hangout spot, and being next to a Starbucks helps that. The menu is diverse, with poutines, burgers and fries for every taste. Draft beers are coming soon, which will surely pair well with the food here. I ordered a BBQ Wagyu Smash Fries poutine, which definitely wasn't a classic poutine but amazing in its own ways. For $14, the portion was HUGE- it can definitely feed 2 people! I was greeted with smorgasbord of crispy fries topped with medium beef wagyu patties lathered in gooey American cheese and BBQ sauce plus healthy amounts of fried onions and green onions. Every bite was like eating a really juicy and savory BBQ burger, but in delicious messy crispy fries form. The fries always stayed a little crispy to the end of the meal, and there was plenty leftover to make for a dinner after. This definitely met my expectations, and I'll be sure to come back and try everything else that's on the menu!

Yelp
Super yummy smashed wagyu burgers with a nice chew to them! A very wet burger indeed. Service: Burgers came out in less than 10 minutes, I was greeted hello and goodbye. Ambience: It's casual, well-lit and spacious enough inside with the seating area.

Yelp
I ordered the braised beef melt because it had a few vegetables. However, I was disappointed that they didn't have arugula. I really like the picked purple onion inside the sandwich. I like that they had sinks right outside the restrooms. Not sure why there were a lot of flies. There was free parking in the structure behind the restaurant.

Yelp
We stopped here for a quick lunch in December 2024. The owner (?) was super welcoming and friendly and waited patiently while I tried to make up my mind. I went with the Philly cheesesteak, while my husband got a smash burger and fries. We could not stop exclaiming over how tasty everything was. This place is the real deal. Crispy edges to the burger, fresh bread, plenty of cheese, everything was seasoned beautifully and the fries were perfection. If we had been staying nearby, I would have eaten here many more times. As it is, I've recommended to everyone I know in socal. The space is bright and fun and everyone in the restaurant seemed to be happy to be there...for good reason!

Yelp
The Kroft sandwich is TO DIE FOR but the rest of the menu that I've tried is pretty average. Ordered from here a handful of times, tried different things... honestly will just be ordering the Kroft and Brussels sprouts from here on out.

Yelp
This was my second visit to The kroft, and like the first; staff were friendly and the diner clean and spacious. I enjoyed the burgers much more this time and visiting again would order the pulled pork burger (which sits on top of two wagyu beef patties.) That was a burger worth traveling for.

Yelp
Yes this place is known for Poutine, I went for a Wagyu spicy jack smash burger with garlic fries at the counter and was given a cup for my drink and sat down for the wait. The place is new and nice appearance, though I think the AC was bit loudest thing there. The menu here has a varied menu, which I am tempted to try in the future. I shortly received my order. Everything looked and smelled great. I bit into a luscious burger, onion sweetness, mild spicy jalapenos dancing with the savoriness of the patty, mushrooms and creaminess of the cheese and sauce. If there is any fault on this burger is that I expected a milliard crust on the paddy. The garlic fries were great as well the garlic and parmesano applied liberally. Thanks!

Yelp
The patties are seriously smashed thin and have crispy edges. It was very different from any other burger patties I ever had. The fries were cooked perfectly crispy and most stayed that way under all of this. My only personal picky item was a little too much BBQ sauce for me. But, that is a personal preference and I'm sure most people will think it is just right. I will return to road test the menu.

Yelp
Ordered the Kroft a few times and there Chicken Parm sandwich is pretty tasty, one problem is that there fries don't handle well when delivered there always soggy and not crispy, there cheese curds are good and the chicken tenders are a great option, but you be the judge and try it for yourself.

Yelp
The lady at the counter was friendly. Food came out quickly. Smash burger was just average to me, but the fries were above average. The cucumber lemonade was a nice surprise. Unfortunately, they are not able to sell beer yet.

Yelp
As an Orange County transplant, I am SO hyped that the Kroft is officially in LA county! My tastebuds still remember the first time I ate at their Irvine location And I'm happy to report that all these years later, the quality is just as consistent as ever! The chicken parm sub & potroast poutine are my go-to's, but the brussel sprouts are pretty solid as well (if you need some greens to break up the cheesy carb fest). I've ordered via Door Dash & have picked up in person--both very smooth experiences each time! There's a parking structure & street parking available, but if you have time, definitely walk around the neighborhood after grabbing a bite!

Yelp
I just got the braised beef poutine here and it was delicious!!! I was skeptical at first because sometimes I'm not sure how I feel about more westernized food in Chinatown, buttt this one actually blew me away. I can't wait to try the other flavors out! They were also really fast and friendly!

Yelp
I got the spicy jack smash burger combo it came with garlic fries and a drink. The price was around ~20 bones, but because I used the yelp check in. The whole meal came under 15 bucks, which was a freaking steal. The burger is 8/10, astounding jalapeños and onion flavor which I really enjoyed, I wish the patties was a less crispy because the bacon in the burger was already tough to chew, it had a beef jerky consistency. Other than that, all the flavors from the toppings came together nicely and complimented each other really well. The fries are no slack either. You can see the garlic and parsley chunks on the fry. (See picture). After all this place is known for their poutine, so their fry game is gotta be up there. I highly recommend this spot. One thing is I wish is that they would stop playing sad EDM music...
