"Venturing to the other side of Harbour Island, I stumbled into The Landing just when they were beginning to infuse a new batch of Afro Head vodkas and rums by hand. Brilliant timing! I was quickly invited to partake in a little side-by-side tasting: off-the-shelf vs. handcrafted. The difference blew my mind. Truth be told, I have been back for their hand-infused vodka cocktails (especially the sweet revenge!) a few too many times since..."

Disappointed with the new hotcakes recipe. They're half the size, the dough tastes different, and the banana in between layers are gone. It’s just not the same! I used to look forward to them every Sunday brunch. The servers are kind and nice. UPDATE: THEY'RE BACK OMG maybe that one time they had a different cook but it's important to have a standardized recipe I hope they keep it goood! Try them hotcakes!

We stayed at The Landing for three days, and it has been very pleasant. The breakfast is very good, and the dinner restaurant is also great—very nice and beautiful but quite expensive. Both breakfast and dinner services are closed on Wednesdays. We chose the Gumelemi room, which is quite noisy from 5 PM to 11 PM, but this is clearly stated in the room description on the website. Our last day there was an electric storm so we had to stay in our room most of the afternoon and the reception phone kept ringing and there was no one to pick up. Also, I dont know if the storm triggers insects, but we found over 6 cockroaches running around our room, that part was absolutely horrible. Stephanie and her peer at the reception were very kind and eager to help. The beach is a 10-minute walk away, and they provide sunbeds with umbrellas for hotel guests, which is fantastic. We considered taking excursions, but the tour to Pig Beach they organized was almost $1,000 for 4 hours, so we obviously didn't do it. However, there are plenty of activities on the island to relax. Overall, we highly recommend spending a couple of days at The Landing to enjoy.

From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. It's walkable from the docks where you'll likely reach the island, even with bags. The staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly, and did everything to make us feel happy and at home. The 2 rooms we stayed in were both lovely, for different reasons. Jacaranda was secluded and quiet, like a cottage hidden in the trees - this did mean there was less natural light, but there's also an outdoor shower, which was different. Buttonwood got a lot of sunlight, but is a little noisier. Just a bit, mind - it's still overall very peaceful. You couldn't hear the traffic much from either room. The Landing have their own bit of the beach, which is on the other side of the tiny island. Don't worry, it's not far to walk (or take a golf cart, if that's your thing), and once you're there, it truly is a beautiful section of a spectacular beach with pink sand. The food at The Landing was also a real highlight. We had breakfast there every day, and dinner twice. It's recommended that you book in advance for dinner as it's incredibly popular. People come from all over to have breakfast and dinner there (they don't do lunch). The food and service were both excellent, and there's also a pretty cool cocktail bar which gets busy. All in all, we loved this place, and it was hard to leave!

This was our second time staying at the Landing, both for one week. We stayed in sea Sage last trip which was spacious and had a great veranda and view. This trip we booked Woodrose which was the tub of our dreams. My girlfriend took a pre dinner bath each night and was in heaven. The tub has a view of the harbour. We ended up extending our trip and moved to Frangipani in the captains house. This room was in a more lively area, but we enjoyed being in the center of it all and listening to happy families arrive to a wonderful landing dinner next door. The view was also incredible and close to the harbour from the veranda. ||The staff was welcoming and helpful. The housekeeping each day was thorough and much needed after days at the beach. Everyone is so friendly and lovely around the property. We truly have no complaints. The beds are the most comfortable we have ever found in a hotel. ||Make your dinner reservations in advance because it is the best on the island! Breakfast on the front porch is also a highlight. We plan to stay here each trip, it feels like home when you’re there. Breakfast at the landing and a quick 3 minute golf cart ride to the beach with pre dinner drinks on a veranda overlooking the harbour is a perfect day.

This is review of the restaurant. This is at least our eighth time dining at the Landing. As like every other time, we were rewarded with a great meal, great drinks and very good service. The wine menu also has tasting notes for most wines in the last few pages of the menu. They nailed in on the crab stack, crab capellini, tuna crudo and lamb chops. The goat cheese ravioli was also very good, but you really need to love goat cheese. We finished with the coconut cream pie, which has a shortbread crust. 5/5 experience. Sit on the outside porch if you want amazing sunset views.

The Landing is simplistic, yet clean, quaint, and inviting. The staff is AMAZING and immediately made us feel so welcome!! When our flight was canceled unexpectedly on our last day (after we had already left the island!), they welcomed us back and put us in one of their cottages at a great rate. Phenomenal customer service!||If you can, get a room with a balcony! It's so worth it! The view from the Sea Sage room gave you all the Harbour Island vibes. Our room was lightly cleaned and refreshed with fresh towels daily, including beach towels! The Landing has a designated spot on the beach with their own chairs and it was the quietest part of the whole beach! Even on one of their busiest weekends of the year, the beach could hardly be considered "busy!" We also got dessert one evening from their restaurant and they allowed us to take it up to our room which was great. ||You are near the government dock, so there is a fair amount of golf cart traffic and boats coming and going. If you stay in the Sea Sage room, you may be woken up by a rooster every morning, but that was our only minor complaint! ;)

Visited the restaurant only. And I'll keep this short and sweet. The food was good to very good. I have to say they're preparation and execution was on point. However, the overall service and mindset of the FOH staff was atrocious. It was so bad, we almost left after our first interaction at the hostess stand. They're lack of desire and appreciation toward guests was shocking (for an island dependent on the tourism dollar). High marks for the food but I'd never go back or suggest to others.

Loved our week here! Will return- incredible value on an expensive island. Restaurant was our favorite, and the bar has such an old world feel you cannot help but return each night. Felt like we are staying here with old friends after just a few days. Recommend for those who don't require a resort layout.
