Small but very comfortable and the staff was great. Short lines and my wife and I felt like we had the theatre to ourselves.

I love this old school theatre with it's super cool interior and classic exterior. if you want a kitschy cool spot to watch your favorite film, the landmark regent is the best pick in the area.

If you're looking for a venue where they show movies where it's not 150 seats in the house if not over 300 seats I should say you've got a great place here this is a place where you can enjoy the movie as well as your family in this movie theater I liked it a lot on it because of the event that was going on was perfect for it you're looking for a good place to watch a good movie this would be the place I recommend this place the landmark

One of the old fashion movie theaters. It's a great place to watch quality films. Well curated. Parking can be challenging, but if it's Sunday and you're lucky enough to snag a spot - enjoy yourself at their theater! It's located near many different types of restaurants within a short walking distance. It is special to see a movie on the big screen in one of those old fashioned movie theaters. Hopefully, there will be enough regulars to keep it afloat.

We went to a 7 PM show at this theater to see Thelma. The theater was very clean and offered a variety of food and drinks. I hope people visit this theater so it will not close like the other 2 theaters down the corner.

I have to start this review off by saying if I saw a terrible movie here, maybe my review would be different?!? Had a lovely time at the landmark Westwood! I didn't buy anything at the concession stand but it looked to have all the options one would expect. I did use the bathroom. Two options. A couple down stairs and a bigger bathroom upstairs. Very clean. Very nice. The theater was fantastic. The picture/sound was of the best. The chairs are decent. They lean way back as you sit back and felt very comfortable. We sat in the last row of the first section. Now this movie is instantly one of my all time favorites. I don't cry that often, but this one ripped my heart out. And as Nicole Kidman says in those other less nice theaters...heartbreak felt good in a place like this.

I've attended movies at the Regency Bruin theater, but this was my first visit over at The Landmark. I knew there were a few theaters clustered together within the area, so I had to make sure I went to the correct one since Westwood is not my territory. The parking lot across the street was easy to access on Broxton, and it was just a quick walk across the street. Fortunately for this particular screening, they had us near the front due to committee purposes. I stayed farthest to the right in the 2nd row. Seats were leather, comfortable, and leaned back quite a bit. There was also a decent amount of leg room for those who needed it. Seating was also arranged where you didn't have to worry too much about a big head sitting in front of you to block the screen. Popcorn was average, but feels necessary when going to the movies, so they get you there if you're like me. I didn't see the restrooms downstairs, but the ones upstairs were actually really nice (three stalls). The picture and sound was clear as a bell, the aisles are well lit but not distracting (although I was closer up front so unsure if this can be said for those further back). They don't validate for parking at this theater, even though I was here for a special event so I doubt they would on regular nights (it was a $5 flat fee after 5p). Glad I was able to visit one of the other theaters in Westwood!

Went to see They Cloned Tyrone. Showed up an hour early. Movie theater never opened for the 2:10 showing. A small group of would-be moviegoers congregated near the entrance, hoping to get in. An hour later, I'm leaving disappointed. I drove 25 minutes in traffic to see this movie. It seems disrespectful to NOT OPEN the theater, and not even leave a sign. 1 star. Would have given 0 stars.

Bought ticket on Fandango, came here for the 1pm showing. No one was at the theater. Called many times but no response.

Great theater! You have to show your ID and your vaccination card to come in, great service in helping you find your seat. Tons of restaurants close by if you want to have a meal before or afterwards, we went on a Saturday night, was busy, so the lines for popcorn and sodas were long. Would come back but maybe during the week.

Attended a private screening, amazing customer service, clean, super comfortable, quality of sound and film exceptional. Definitely recommend this venue!

We rented this movie theater for a birthday party. I usually dont write reviews but my experience was so great that I felt it should be acknowledged! The customer service was exceptional. From the sales manager Julian, to the theater manager Nino, to the attendants that helped out during the event, everyone was incredible. The venue itself is also lovely, with a modern concession area and comfortable theater seating. Everything was clean and even during our event they cleaned continuously (and they were very patient with a bunch of kids and popcorn!). The sound quality was excellent and they even accomodated a slideshow of the birthday girls on the big screen. It was so special and I cant thank them enough for making our event so enjoyable and special. It is wonderful to experience a place that cares so much about its customers and delivers exceptional service. Thank you Nino, Julian, and the rest of the team for giving us such a memorable birthday!

COVID sort of put the crimp in our movie-going but as life has returned to normal, we have been going to movies more and more often. I was delighted when I walked into the renovated Landmark. So much nicer than it used to be. But then I saw the prices. A large popcorn, a small soda, and a tiny glass of wine was $29. It cost more than our two tickets. Horrible. But we have come to expect being gouged. Then we ventured into the auditorium. Even though previews were playing, it was pitch black so finding our seats was impossible. Others had the same problem. But with my phone flashlight I found them. When I fell into my seat, I felt like a child. They were absurdly low to the floor with the screen way overhead. And even worse, the seats tilt back at the slightest pressure and make a loud creak. Just awful. Whoever designed the theatre should be sent to jail. A terrible date night. A terrible theatre.

I saw "The Room" last night at the Landmark Regent. It was a wild experience. Patrons were allowed to throw plastic spoons around the theatre throughout the duration of the movie. Some patrons also threw a football around and ran through the aisles. There were lots of patrons shouting commentary throughout the screening (for ex. commentary pointing out the movie's shortcomings). I give the Landmark Regent a 5-Star Yelp review strictly based on the fact they screened "The Room." I wish more movie theaters invested in screening old, cult classic movies. Note: I saw a smoke plume rise from the left side of the theatre right before the movie started playing, which made me feel a little uneasy and unsafe.

Fantastic theater and great staff, love the late night Friday and Saturday screenings. Raiders of the Lost Ark was fantastic!

Darn, wish I'd taken a photo of the outside of this theater since no one has posted one.... This is one of the old Westwood theaters that has passed through many hands and is now the Landmark Regent. If you're think' it's one of them fancy Landmark theaters (like the one in Westside Pavilion), think again pardner. This is a funky old theater, but it has $8 prices for the matinee. We were there to see "Atlas Shrugged" (hadn't read it since high school and couldn't really remember much), and we were absorbed enough in the movie that we didn't pay too much attention to the tiny, old seats where your knees were pretty close to the seats in front. A varied crowd, about 50 people in the theater, and the picture and sound were decent, so no complaints. PS, okay, a little complaint.... the bathrooms are up an old, steep, funky stairway, and when you come out of the women's restroom, walk carefully past the door to your left on the other side because that's the projection room and sometimes the guy comes charging out of that door.

Great old classic spot to see a flick. Only problem is parking. They really need to cut a deal with a parking lot or something. Picture was great quality, sound on point... This is where the big studios hold many screenings and premieres. I am sure my ass was in the same seat as Brad Pitts.. That's what the theatre boy told me. Popcorn was fresh also..

I just have to say that I was pleasantly surprised on how accommodating and friendly the staff was to me. They made me feel welcome and when I needed help from security twice- they were quick to tend to me and have my back, so thank you so so much for this. I will definitely go back to this venue. I wish all venues would be as kind and accommodating as you all were. Ps. This place is cute inside as well. Great intimate venue location. Thanks again!

As this is managed by The Landmark Theatres, this is a great spot to catch the arthouse films that are in limited release, as I watched the Oscar-nominated "The Danish Girl"* this afternoon. Admission here is lower than most Landmarks and other LA theaters - $8.50 for the first show of the day then $10.50 for the regular evening admission. The screen is not that large even though it's a single-screen cinema, but there are lots of seats inside. The charm of going to a single-screen theater is that it usually has a huge screen, but that's not the case with this one. I'm comparing it to the Fox and the Bruin theaters just a few hundred feet away which boast much larger screens, that they are used for Hollywood premieres. They sell a combination of a popcorn plus a soda for $7.50 here, which is probably the cheapest in the business, and thank goodness Landmark still keeps concession prices reasonable. I'm peeved though that when I asked the staff member about parking that she didn't know anything beyond the $1.50/hour (2-hour limit) street meters, when I later found out that I could've parked DIRECTLY across the street in the parking structure for FREE for the first 2 hours, then $1.50 per 15 minutes. I don't mind paying for parking in this popular Westwood neighborhood but I kept having to check my watch during the movie to make sure I wasn't about to cross my 2-hour time limit on my meter. I would have much preferred knowing I could've just parked it across the street without having to worry (and for cheaper!). Please note that if you park in that structure after 6pm, there is a flat rate of $3. Best deal in town! * For those of you who have seen this transgender-themed film, if I was married to a man as handsome as Eddie Redmayne, I would NOT be encouraging him to dress up as a woman no matter how lovely he was...but I guess that was the beauty of his character's marriage where his wife helped him to be who he truly was inside.

Old-fashion looking theater on a one-way, short and narrow quaint street (Broxton Avenue) in Westwood Village. Broxton Avenue is especially quaint during Christmastime with the lights (check my photo). This theater is small and functional. The women's restroom was surprisingly nice. As for parking, there is a City of LA parking structure across the street. My cousin and I arrived around 4:30 for a 5:20 showing. We paid $6 parking. I believe it is a flat and lower rate if you arrive after 6.

Nice small theater. Only has one screen but they show good movies here that you can't always find at most other theaters. We came to see Free Solo. Great movie! Park across the street at the Braxton Parking Lot. After 5pm it's $5 flat rate (sometimes $9 though). They also have EV charging for free if you go down one level right when you get in. If you're a Red Vines fan you're in luck. If you like Twizzlers like a weirdo then your out of luck. Lol.

I organized a premiere at this theater and found it to be a nice venue and a pretty solid choice if you're looking for a good-sized theater for an event. It seats 390 - so it's a big venue - but if that's what you're in the market for, the prices are reasonable. The staff is for the most part extremely helpful - especially the assistant managers and younger staff members who do their job with a calm efficiency. Parking is not as hard as you might think - the public garage across the street is a flat $3 if you enter after 6 - a good deal! And the added bonus of having a farmers market right outside the theater on Thursday nights makes this a fun choice for a date night. We had a really successful event here and I'll definitely use the Regent again for another screening.

No lines, always a seat at any show! Discounts for students & seniors. Buy a popcorn bucket - you'll save money for a season! Always blockbuster movies because they host the Red Carpet premieres. There are no assigned seats; great for big groups! There's always a big crew of UCLA students. This place does get a few weirdos/potential child predator types, so choose your dear wisely!

My family and I came here to watch "Ant-Man and the Wasp" in this theater. (By the way, there are two after-credit scenes!) Here is my experience with Landmark Theatres: Staff: They were so kind and welcoming! Every staff member smiled at us and treated us with respect and professionalism. At the concession stand, you get free refills on drinks and popcorn. After getting out food we walked up to the staff who scan the tickets and they easily scanned them with again, a smile on their face. They were also really funny and put a smile on our faces. Once you are done with your movie, staff will stand at the exit and say "Hope you enjoyed the movie, thanks for coming!" My dad held a conversation with this one staff member and she was so kind; I wish I got the staff members names! Rating: 5/5 stars Food: The popcorn tasted really good and my family enjoyed it. My dad ate up his whole bag full of popcorn within the first 20 minutes of the movie and so did my siblings. I'm so glad that refills were free or we would have ran out of popcorn halfway into the movie. Lol. Rating: 5/5 stars Setting: The concession stand has two registers and a glass counter where you can view the snacks on display to pick out what you want. When we went to get our popcorn and soda, there was a shortish line. There was an odd smell when we entered the hallway to our movie. It sort of smelled like vomit but I just let it go because the smell wasn't that strong. The theater room was pretty small comparing it to AMC theater's room. Nonetheless, the seats were comfortable and easy to find. Once the movie ended, my family and I all had to use the restroom so we went. The women's restroom on the first floor had a line with about 14 stalls and one stall for those who are handicapped. I didn't go to the restroom on the second floor of the theater so I don't know what it's like. My dad claims that the restroom on the first floor was small but there was no line. Rating: 3.5/5 stars Audience: We went up the stairs to our designated seats and sat down. During the movie, a couple of people started to turn on their phones to message and play video games. This didn't last long because a couple of them decided to actually watch the movie but some of them still used their phones. Behind us were two seriously annoying little kids. During the whole movie, they kicked my sibling's seats and were talking loud during the whole movie. Next, they began to play very loud videos and laughing amongst themselves loudly. Once the manager came in they were quiet so they didn't get kicked out but once he left they continued. We were pretty angry by the end of the movie but decided to let it go later on after the movie. Thanks to the nice staff that is. Rating: 2.5/5 stars Calculated average of my following ratings: 4 stars! :) EDIT: The ratings didn't load so they were edited, no overall change.

This theater is seriously SO NICE. I don't know why I never came here while I was a student at UCLA. the seats are comfortable. Screen is huge. Theater is very empty so take your pick of seats. Prices are reasonable. I mean, they have movie premieres here! That's how good the quality of this movie theater is. The only downside of this theater is you have to find your own parking which is difficult in Westwood. Either street parking or try the parking lot on Broxton.

So they just remodeled the theater it looks nice but the most glaring issue are the seats. You cannot adjust the back of the chair and if you lean back the chair automatically reclines. After ten minutes in this chair my back was sore. No way I'll be coming back again, but the staff was nice and it was clean. I'm just baffled by their choices in seats.

Love supporting indie and smaller more intimate customer centric theatres. The bar is a nicety as well as having coffee to get you through movies. So sad they don't have nachos! I was able to catch Parasite here so love their selection.

Clean, futuristic aesthetic, and great customer service. I purchased my tickets online beforehand and reserved my seats. The theater was clean and the comfortable leather seats made it all that much better. Very professional and prompt ushers at the door. Bathrooms were also impeccably clean. Only thing is they should have a little more light and markers for the seats before the movie begins. Would definitely recommend if you like a small and relaxed place.

I've only been here twice, both for screenings of The Room. The second night I came was about a month ago. And man, was it hectic. The night before, James Franco had come to talk and I believe film some stuff for his movie based on the making of The Room. So I heard it was insane that night, especially since Wiseau showed up too. Movie didn't start til 2, huge crowd, and so forth. Well, I went the night after, and Tommy Wiseau showed up again. at 11:30 there was already a huge line formed. I prebought my tickets, so I had them printed out, and stood in line with my friend. I soon learned that there were 2 lines- one for people who were going to buy merchandise and meet Tommy Wieau- AKA "VIP". Not joking, we were outside in line until 1:15. Got inside and the manager there was chasing around some guy- for whatever reason. He apparently "knocked down a gate", if I heard right. The manager acted so unprofessionally and was practically causing a scene- saying that the cops were coming and that he won't start the movie until that guy left. Bizarre. Once that was over, Tommy Wiseau showed up and said that he will have a Q&A after the movie. He leaves, and his crappy TV show, Neighbors, starts playing. Everyone was livid at this point. By this time it was already like 2. Tommy steps out, does a Q&A, which was half entertaining, half "what the hell is wrong with this dude...", and he left. Movie was halfway through, and then the DVD just stops working. My friend and I were done at this point, we walked out, while people were yelling at us "it's not over!!" As we walked into the lobby I caught a glimpse of Wiseau pulling up his saggy pants. Studded belt and all. Such a weird night... By the time we got in our car and drove off, we saw everyone walking out the theatre, so I assume the problem wasn't fixed. Overall a bizarre night. I don't think I'd go back. I live about an hour away from Westwood, so just driving out here to this theatre is work, and a good chunk of gas. and after the several displays of lack of professionalism, I'm ok staying at home.

I have been to screenings of "The Room" before but last night's screening was absolute chaos. It's a midnight screening but it didn't start until 1:30. I brought a bunch of new people to see the movie for their first time and what should have been an enjoyable experience ended up being a terrible one. Tommy was awesome even to the point when he realized the movie was so far behind he hurried up the Q&A and tried to move things along faster. The staff, however, was a different story. The people at the ticket booth are rude and don't want to answer any questions. They seemed like they couldn't handle the pressure of a full crowd. They do however show this movie once a month. The theater manager held up the movie for at least half an hour literally chasing a guy around the auditorium who was intoxicated. I thought the manager was going to cry at one point. He was begging, literally begging the guy to leave. Once the movie finally started everyone seemed kind of over everything at that point but then about half way in the dvd player failed. We just walked out. I absolutely will not be returning to this theater under any circumstances. I will still attend screenings of "The Room" but not here.

Really great. I met Tommy Wiseau here and I had a blast. There was a signing and I purchased a script of "The Room" as well as a Blu-Ray copy of the movie, the soundtrack, and a tie. I even got to take a picture and participate in a Q&A with the man himself.

This is like a bargain movie theater without the bargain prices. I love that it hasn't been upgraded because it has a vintage feel and it makes me nostalgic for my days at UCLA. You don't have to worry about noise from adjacent theaters (there are none) and it's cool to be able to walk about to the theater rather than going through a multiplex. As other reviewers have said, the workers here are a little odd but I didn't find them rude. It's definitely not necessary to get here too early for a movie to start because it doesn't seem to get that crowded even though seats aren't reserved.

Yikes. Midnight Showing for The Room... My theater going experience was worse than The Room... We weren't let in to the theater until 12:30, movie didn't start till 1:30, DVD died half way through. No apologies, just a free movie ticket? Also I'm pretty sure we saw the theater manager near tears... Get it together, man. No one was trying to hurt you.. Your audience was rightfully pissed because we paid to see the god damn movie. I should be near tears, not you. I just wasted hours of my life for half a movie. I won't be coming back to this crap show of a theater. Yeesh.

I've only been here once and I will be back again but my first experience here was well less than perfection. I had pre paid for 'The Room' tickets and unfortunately the other person could not make it so I asked if I could get a refund on the other ticket. I was able to get a refund sort of but I stupidly paid for it on my debit card and I have yet to see that it actually got refunded and the manager didn't exactly seem thrilled to be there but this will make much more sense later. I then went to see Trumbo before the room screening and the only complaint I have is that they could turn the volume up just a bit. And then after the movie is when things went to fascinating shit. I work in guest services at Staples Center and Microsoft theater and this was a clusterfuck of epic porportions. First when I got out of Trumbo Tommy Wisseau was standing right in the lobby which is a bizarre thing to come out too on a head full of edibles. So I went to the other side of theatre and excited cause yeah. And then there were two lines and I choose the wrong line. Now what I don't get it is why would you have a screening ending just after 1130 and then do a midnight at 12 when you should know that you're never going to be able to start on time. At least that's what was advertised? Mr. Wisseau had his meet and greet before the movie if you bought merchandise. This took forever. And by the time I realized I was in the meet and greet line, but only if you bought merchandise the other line was down the block. So I waited in that line for over an hour while we waited for Mr. Wisseaus meet and greet to be done. This is a very small theatre so unfortunately they apparently could not do this away from the main lobby??? Finally I'm in the theatre and this thang starts at 1 a.m Except there was another half hour to go before the movie started because of the Neighbors short films and a music video which they really should have played first because Neighbors was about five minutes too long and the audience was exhausted by this point. So after all that that movie starts and then they stop it after the initial logo for the Q and A and pictures??? This should have been done after the movie but Tommy is Tommy and he is quite incredible bringing an audience back from the brink of an epic disaster of a screening. FINALLY, the movie starts, my edibles are rockin hard, and its the greatest audience reaction I've ever experienced in life. And then hour into it the whatever player they were using died and they had no back up??? And that was that. The poor employee (whom I just wanted to hug) at the door gave us all a comp ticket which I will be using for the next time this screens but that manager was way over his head that night and has very little experience at dealing with a large crowd. It was a very dissapointing way to end a night that I had so carefully planned out on my end to perfection and then not to have it be professional reciprocated on their end. Hopefully they chalked it up to a learning evidence or Mr. Wisseau is such a natural walking disaster artist that it should have been expected. Anyways, hopefully better luck on the next one.

WATCHOUT bedbugs bedbugs bedbugs bedbugs bedbugs !!! Greatest place on Earth to see a movie otherwise. I was bitten while watching a move in this theater. 7:45 last Saturday Maleficent. This is a nuisance because I have to repeat this complaint because the contact us system at their website is asking for a captcha but it doesnt show this option. not good for kids or anyone until they deal with bedbugs

Seats were hard. The middle armrest didn't move up, so no making the moves on your lady... The cup holder was in-front instead on the armrest, which is pretty cool. Otherwise, it's a theater. Oh, they let in too many annoying UCLA students... but I guess that's not their fault.

If only Yelp allowed 0 stars. This theater doesn't deserve the one star. Do you remember the Soup Nazi from Seinfield? Well, the guy at the front (Rod) seems to be inspired by that character. This theater doesn't have reserved seating so we arrived about 30 minutes early to see The Theory of Everything (we usually go to the Landmark on Pico which we love but for some reason they moved the movie to this location this weekend and it's the only place in LA playing it). Anyhow, back to our scene from Seinfield. When we arrived, no one was at the one ticket booth so we opened the doors to go inside. "We'll be selling tickets in 15 minutes!" he exclaimed in such a way that made it seem as though he was annoyed we were early (as well as the others standing around waiting to get tickets to the same movie). I asked where the restrooms were and while walking away, "Upstairs!" I'm sorry, is it an inconvenience for you to have customers? So odd. We went back outside and watched one by one as people walked to the door to receive the same treatment. Finally, a couple arrived and instead of telling them they'd be opening up to sell tickets shortly, he slammed the doors closed (while they were standing on the other side), locked them and walked away. They turned to us, "Was it something we said?" We assured them, as we did everyone else that were confused by the poor customer service, that it wasn't them but rather the theater staff. And if this place is in the business of selling tickets, the other strange thing was they weren't taking tickets at the door. People were all in the theater talking about the fact that they just walked in and no one checked to see if they even had a ticket. The whole experience was so bizarre I told someone else standing around confused that it was like an episode of Candid Camera. Surely, someone was going to jump out at any point and tell us we were being Punk'd (and yes, I know that's a different show - but you know what I mean). Now, for the inside. The movie screen is so small. Pretty old school. You'll need to sit closer that you may be accustomed. Next time, we'll just wait for a movie to return to the Landmark on Pico where you can reserve seats, the concession snacks are good (popcorn made with sunflower oil), and the staff actually seems to want you to be there.

Theater itself was fine. But I am currently sitting outside at 3am (after a midnight screening of The Room) because the lot where my car is parked is closed. We parked there because the theater's website told us to. Upon realizing the lot was closed once we got outside (along with a large group of people who were also screwed by this), I went back to the theater to ask for help from the staff. They just shrugged it off and said "yeah, they left about 10 min ago" and "people had this problem last night". You can't tell people to park somewhere and then not care when their cars get stuck overnight (because YOUR movie screening started much later than it was supposed to).

The Regent is a single-screen theater. The plastic arms of the chairs don't go up (booo), and they are small, giving little room for your arms. Also, the seating incline is not very steep, so you better hope that a tall person doesn't sit in front of you! Up was a very cute movie!

Aw, the Regent Theater. I have a thing for old theaters so just being here makes me really happy. The seats are comfy, they sell booze, and they give discounts to lowly UCLA students like me.

"Is this where arthouse movies go to die?" That thought crossed my mind as I entered the Regent, purchased my ticket from the attendant at concession stand, and wandered into the massive auditorium. Owned and operated by Landmark Theatres, the Regent has, on paper, the pedigree of a quality movie theatre, but it has certainly seen better days (read: needs a facelift). Having missed Park Chan-Wook's 'The Handmaiden' at the swanky Landmark in Westside Pavilion, I found myself in one of the Regent's uncomfortable seats for the film's 2+ hour runtime. (The film itself was s-s-strikingly beautiful, and I can't stop talking about it to friends. Definitely a must-see.) Since this is an older theatre, there's no stadium or reserved seating, but chances are the theatre will be empty enough that nobody will be seated directly in front of you. Since there was only one showing that day, the ticket cost only $8. That's not a bad price considering the area, but it's certainly not the most comfortable or impressive place to watch a movie.

Saw a special viewing of Bellflower, where the filmmakers held a Q&A to a sadly small crowd and the car from the flick (Medusa) got more notice outside from people who hadn't seen the movie. The movie was terrific, and I was glad Landmark screened it. The theater's old-fashioned marquee and storefront charmed me. The seats were fine, not ripped or trashed, and there's nothing to complain about as far as the screen. The bathroom was a nice change from the generic mall theater stalls, again harkening back (quietly) to a past era. Parking was way too easy and only $3.

I love this theatre! I've been here many times for screenings. This is not your arclight, no. Its older, filled with the charm of what it used to be like to go to the movies. I love that the restrooms are upstairs above the theatre itself. Come here if you are looking for an authentic film experience.

One of the best spots in Westwood Village. This theater is huge! And the decor and atmosphere are on par with some of the best theaters I've been to. I'm always amazed at the lack of people going to see movies here. With clean and spacious seating, and a balcony for god's sake, it amazes me that you can still get a student ticket for the "cheap" price of 8 bucks. That's far better than any AMC or other theater around LA. And another perk for the thrifty college student - you can buy a souvenir bucket of popcorn and get free refills pretty much for life if you want (if you're shameless enough to keep bringing back the 'ol plastic bucket it came in).

Alcohol - no but there are a lot of bars and restaurants near by. Food - standard theater fare. Popcorn hotdogs soda icee maps etc. Big theater. Los of seats. My company rents it out for presentations and early screenings of movies. Small bathroom so prepare to wait.

Nice little vintage location to catch a movie. I really do love the structure and the old feel of a movie theater. Definitely recommend. Many shops and places to catch a bite around here. Close walking distance from the campus.

Quite small. You've got plenty of options for theaters to choose from in Westwood. It's got a homey kind of feel. So if you want fairly comfortable seats, a small screen, and a somewhat heated kind of atmosphere, check out this theater.

I have never before experienced the pure chaos that was tonight. Went to a midnight screening of The Room and we weren't even let into the theatre until 12:30??? You've held this even before... How were you so disorganized that you didn't let people in until half an hour AFTER the movie was supposed to start. 25 minutes of extra material was played before the movie, material that was not disclosed when purchasing the tickets, so the movie didn't start until 1:30am... The manager purposefully held up the movie and seating people because of ONE DISRUPTIVE MEMBER. ONE PERSON. You need to learn how to handle minor disruptions and not hold up hundreds of people. The movie crapped out an hour in and that was it. No further explanation other than the DVD player stopped working. And what was our compensation for all that frustration, one free movie pass. Why would I ever come back to such a poorly managed theatre?

Just returned from a screening of Sisters Brothers. Skip it, but that's another story. The Landmark Theater is about 55 years old. So is the projection equipment and the popcorn. Avoid this dump if you can.

This theater is great: small, quaint, and awesome. The seats are comfortable: leather. The great thing is that parking isn't hard to find, which is something rare in this location. Full of UCLA students, but what do you expect for the area? Sometimes the theater is filled with too many "older" snobs who have problems with students in WESTWOOD. I'll come back.

Very beautiful old theater that harkens days when buildings had class. All its missing is real butter on the corn and better food, but that's just me being a finicky bastard.

My bf and I went here today to watch Conan O'Brien Can't Stop. Since it's in limited release, we could either go here or a theater in San Diego. The first thing that slapped me in the face was the reek of stale popcorn from movies past... decades of it. It's a cute theater, though. I was surprised at how nice the bathrooms were. I don't know about the guys restroom, but in the girls restroom there is a little vanity with 2 chairs. Pretty classy for a place that kind of reminds me of a psychiatric ward with its cushioned doors.

This theater is a dump, its filthy and I don't think its been updated since it ever opened. People are confusing this theater with the other Landmark theater on PICO, so that is why ratings are higher, don't get mixed up!
