The food was amazing, flavorful, delicious, and well-prepared. I appreciate the use of local, wholesome ingredients and the fact that the restaurant has a farm nearby. We ordered the Fried Catfish salad special and it was more than expected , packed with flavor. The atmosphere is the cozy, quaint, and pleasant, especially the outdoor seating area. The outdoor space is family-friendly, and ideal for enjoying the weather. The prices are also reasonable. Friendly staff also makes this place easy to rate 5 stars, but we did have a large group so service was a little slow this time.

Google
The place is super cute, in the heart of a beautiful housing community. The menu has literally anything for everyone. We had two appetizers and split an entree. We each had a cocktail and the service was amazing, they even have local honey for sale(big plus). We will definitely come back.

Fantastic food! Great selections, great presentation—see pics!! Great flavor, full textured culinary experience with something for everyone.

Google
What a cool little place to visit and grab something to eat. Wife and I are always looking for New to us places and we weren't disappointed. Shrimp and grits was the best I've had in quite some time and the peanut butter cup coffee was amazing.

Google
What a beautiful location, and we were lucky enough to be here on a sunny but cool day, perfect for sitting outside! A little playground is steps away for the kids. Service was excellent, the food was fine and we really liked the fried avocados. We were here for brunch, and they had a decent selection. The atmosphere definitely makes it worth coming out for, especially on a sunny day.

Google
This was my first time here and it was great, server was sweet, sweet Tyler. I ordered the hangover burger, medium. And oh boy! Delicious! The best breakfast burger I’ve had like ever! The place was def a vibe! I’m from San Antonio so it def gave Southtown vibes for me and I loved it.

Google
Awful 😖. $14.5 for goat cheese, bacon, and onion Flatbread 🫓 that tastes like old flour. Seating inside is crunched. Not handicapped accessible no handicapped spaces or parking. Think dry Ritz cracker style flavorless bread. I was expecting something entirely different. This should be no more than $8.

Google
A small place on the edge of a burgeoning dining district, the Larder offers elevated, house-made classic sandwiches, burgers, and comfy entrees, as well as inspired cocktails that you won't find anywhere else. They have a great, and large outdoor seating area, and a cozy, yet inviting indoor. The staff exceeded my expectations and made me feel right at home.

Yelp
We were genuinely excited to stop at Hammond Ferry Larder on our long drive home from Surfside Beach to Montgomery. Between the playground right next door, open outdoor seating, and nearby walking trails, it seemed like the perfect road trip pitstop for our stir-crazy kids (and parents). Bonus: we saw they had drinks and a promising-looking menu. Total win, right? Unfortunately, we rolled in an hour before opening--my fault for not checking the hours. That would've been a disaster since my 4-year-old and I were both doing the "I need to pee" dance, but thankfully, the kind kitchen staff let us in to use the restroom while they prepped. We decided to hang around and wait for them to open, and honestly, the outdoor space made it easy to kill an hour. The kids ran around, we played on the playground, and when a sudden downpour rolled in, we took cover under their patio and even got to play a round of giant Connect 4. By the time 4:00 rolled around, we were wet, hungry, and ready to eat. And then it got awkward. We rushed inside excitedly... only to be met with a trio of staff who looked just as confused by us as we were by the vibe. No one greeted us, no host stand, just a blank stare until someone finally said we could sit anywhere. So we awkwardly claimed a table and tried to shake off the weird energy. Our server came over soon after, and we placed our order. I got the drink special--a gin Paloma--which was fine, nothing remarkable. We started with fried pickles (solid but unmemorable), and then moved on to our mains: cheese pitas for the girls, hot honey chicken sliders with sweet potato fries for me, and fish and chips for my husband. Sadly, things went downhill from there. My chicken sliders were just basic chicken tenders on toasted buns. The goat cheese added a little something, but the hot honey was nowhere to be found. The sweet potato fries were floppy and undercooked. The girls' cheese pita was... well, exactly what the menu said: pita with melted cheese. But it somehow still felt a little sad. The worst offender? The fish and chips. The fish was soggy, and the breading slid off like it was trying to escape the plate. The potato wedges were also undercooked. My husband ended up sending it back and opting for the warm chocolate brownie instead. The brownie was better than the fish--barely--but it was clearly just a microwaved store-bought dessert with a drizzle of syrup. In the end, the best part of our visit wasn't the food--it was the playground, the covered patio, and the generosity of the kitchen staff who let us in before opening. We were grateful for the rest stop, but the restaurant itself fell way short of expectations. for the family-friendly location and outdoor amenities for the kind kitchen staff and covered patio with games Points off for food quality (main dishes and dessert mostly disappointing) for the awkward service vibe at opening for lack of value and underwhelming execution If they improved food execution and tightened up the front-of-house experience, this place could easily be a 4-star gem for families on the go. As it stands, it's a pretty setting with subpar substance.

Yelp
Went on a thursday night for a friends birthday and it was busier than expected because we didn't know trivia was happening, also made it very loud but it's okay. Food was good but in my opinion a little overpriced. My friend's greek salad was 18$ without a protein which is a bit much to me. The papas bravas and fried pickles were really good. I got the crispy bacon swiss burger which was good but missing the sauce and the bottom bun was completely soaked and useless. The atmosphere is really interesting, inside is very small with a bar and a few tables with only one single stall bathroom and outside feels like someone's nice backyard with a ton patio furniture. Overall I probably won't go back personally, just not my vibe, but I'd recommend them still.

Yelp
The Hammond's Ferry Larder located in North Augusta, SC Food: We ordered the Fish (cod) and Chips and Ribeye Melt and washed it all down with a Mango Mule. The Fish and Chips was good, the house tartar sauce was good also. The Ribeye Melt was tender and flavorful... really good bread. Full transparency, the Portobello Mushroom appetizer left me with buyers remorse. I really loved my experience however it's a little pricey... for food that you could get anywhere else. Service: Great service! We were greeted by the host outside and seated. The staff were very polite and friendly. Ambiance: This is lovely small Tapas with limited table seating inside however outside seating is available. A full bar makes me smile.

Yelp
Well, that was an experience... 3 of us for dinner around 7PM on a Sunday night. Let's start by drinks that took nearly a half hour to come out. I ordered a hazy IPA and got a Hefeweizen. No problem. Wheat beer is fine on a nice outdoor night. Ordered both an appetizer and entrees since things were taking a while. Finished all of our drinks and still no food. No server either. Manager brought entrees out, and we finally were able to order a second round of drinks. Still no appetizer. Apparently it wasn't put in, so we cancelled it, and they brought it out in a to-go container, comped -- which was nice. Of the entrees, the flatbread had really good toppings if a bit of a soggy crust. Burger was very solid, juicy and properly cooked. Tots and sweet potato waffle fries all good too. Special wagyu pimento cheese sliders were cooked to a puck, missing toppings, and had a flavor suggesting the meat was less than fresh. Maybe my fault for a Sunday night dinner. I'd like to note also that the place wasn't busy. At all. Slow service, mid food, and a +$100 bill even after the comped app and discounted sliders. Look, I'll give it a second shot sometime, but if they're just rolling on autopilot due to Manuel's local reputation, they might want to rethink that strategy.

Yelp
We were able to be seated immediately, which in the past has been rare here. Our server was good and brought things we needed. I do wish she would've come over to refill water once. Food was nice and hot. I do wish the chicken was a bit crunchier. They were out of fried pickles so we couldn't have those, but the pickle vodka for the Bloody Mary was pretty good. I would've liked my coffee to be iced. Perhaps the menu should specify if it can be made hot or iced. Small, cute place. A bit of outdoor seating which is good.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this place while walking through Hammond's ferry one day but had to come back when we had time to eat and I am so glad we did. Such a nice little place nestled in a small community with unique menu items and a great atmosphere. There is option to eat in or outside, and if you have kids there is a playground which is perfect to entertain the little ones while you enjoy your drinks and wait for your food. The pulled pork Benedict was fantastic and so large it was extremely filling that I had to nap afterwards. The French toast my wife had was delicious and full of favor compared to French toast at other breakfast places. Everything tasted fresh and proportional to the price you pay so it was worth every penny. The menu was large enough for options for a variety of food types depending on what you are craving, but small enough that you aren't overwhelmed with option overload. Everything looked delicious and it was hard to make a decision so I will have e to come back to try out other options. Their specials are unique and limited so there's something fresh and new each visit. The service was great and felt family friendly for a variety of dining out occasions.

Yelp
I've had Larder for brunch a couple times but finally had it for dinner and wow. The server was great even though the kitchen was backed up. We ate outside since it wasn't too hot. Definitely recommend swinging by for brunch or dinner any time.

Yelp
They add a cleaning fee to bill Food .. good to taste Ambiance... ok. A little dark

Yelp
This is a small yet very nice restaurant. The service was excellent. The food was very tasty All servers were very polite and attentive

Kelsey L.

Yelp
All I have to say is wow. This place is awful. We waited over 2 hours for our food, and watched our server eat in the kitchen as we were waiting for our food. We wanted to order the ribeye but was told they were out. Then we asked about the chicken, and they were out of that too. I finally got a burger with a side salad and was told half an hour later that they were out of lettuce? How is that possible. I'm never returning. This place sucks and the waiter with the man ponytail is slow and lazy.
google avatar

Yelp
Excellent. Everything here is good. Chicken sliders were the biggest surprise, really flavorful.

Yelp
If you're looking for the perfect brunch spot, you should definitely check out The Larder. We stopped by after a walk with our dog, and it was busy but they were able to accommodate us. It is a lively outdoor dining environment where you can enjoy the weather, food, and company with friends. We tried a few menu options, all of which were good. They offer a vegetarian substitution for the burgers. My dog even got his own pup cup!
google avatar

Yelp
Fun, small, intimate. Not a ton of seating, but we sat outside, which was preferred, and it was nice. There is a playground right outside, which would be nice if we bring kids. The area feels like a small Charleston. The food, oh man, it was delicious! The grits were a great savory choice, it needs a little more flavor, just salt and pepper. The chicken biscuits was spot on, the chicken had a few tough parts. The seasoned home fries were great! The flavor had a little kick and had red pepper and onions. The breakfast burger was good, the bun was large and dense and it needed more bacon jam and cheese; overall good but needs tweaking.

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday night and it was decently busy. We had a large party and were able to accommodate us. The service was great and patient with our big group. I loved the spicy feta dip. I wouldn't say it was spicy but definitely very flavorful. The bread really helps balance the flavor. It was a big portion to share and I think we were barely able to finish it in our group of 8. For my main I got the ribeye melt which was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. It was definitely pretty heavy and I should've only had half. I loved the taste so much that I finished it all. Parking seems to be a bit hard here because it's just street parking. It shouldn't be bad on a regular night, but maybe saturdays are busy.

Yelp
The ambiance at this restaurant is one of the main reasons to go. You get a local feel with delicious food, and no rush to leave. My server Melissa was knowledgeable, made her recommendations, efficient and sweet! I would definitely come back to this establishment.

Yelp
Cute little place, great for sitting and enjoying lunch or dinner outdoors. I really love the fact this place is kid and pet friendly. There's a small playground for the kids and they bring water out for the dogs. We stopped for lunch and ordered kids chicken fingers first my son, papas bravas, the spicy feta dip and fried avocados. I wasn't too excited about the food, it had no taste, no salt, no pepper, but we did order a drink it was delicious!! I hate the food wasn't great, because the customer service (was great) and the outdoor setting make it a great place to hang out at with the family.

Megan B.

Yelp
Burnt bacon, toast, salty egg and overall not good service. No lemons supposedly and no napkins the whole time we were eating

Jace C.

Yelp
Food was not great. Two of us got the cajun chicken alfredo and on top of it being fairly bland it only came with 4 pieces of chicken. Less than you would get in an average chicken strip for a whole plate of pasta. Not worth $26 per plate at all.
google avatar

Yelp
This was the coolest place! It's a quaint little outdoor restaurant to grab food and drinks. It looks like there is only street parking I. The neighborhood and the place is surrounded by houses. They have a variety of items to include moonshine ice cream. We ran out of time and it was a bit cold out, so we didn't try the ice cream. They have some interesting sounding cocktails. We sat at on of their picnic tables and the servers were awesome! They turned on the outdoor heaters for us. We all got a salad of some type. I got the Mediterranean salad which was amazing! We got the tots and fried pickles as well. We were super happy with all the choices. I'd love to try their brunch. They also do trivia nights on Thursdays. That sounds like a good time.
google avatar

Yelp
Nestled in a cozy neighborhood is a unique Cafe experience at the Larder. Sunday brunch never disappoints. Great service & delicious food! The drinks are pretty great, too! I highly recommend the mimosa flight or any of the boozy coffees! I prefer iced coffee in the summertime! If you feel like you need to walk off some of those calories, the Greenway is just down the street!

Yelp
Cute spot with plenty of outdoor seating and some indoor. Located in at the end of a community it's such an escape from the rest of the city and a great place to grab lunch or dinner. Their menu is very limited with not a lot of choices so I went with the ribeye melt ($16) and a side of tater tots. I really enjoyed the sandwich and the tots were great as well. I tried their sweet potato fries and they are the best sweet potato fries I've ever eaten. Very moist inside while crunchy outside and not dry at all. I also like that the Larder has King of Pops and ice cream as well. Overall I think this is a good place to eat but it came out to be over $20 for just one sandwich after tax and tip. I feel like I can get just as good sandwiches for less at many other places in Augusta area.

Alexander B.

Yelp
I've only been to this place for brunch and can't speak for any other meals. But each time I've come, I've never been disappointed. The food has always been good. The service has also always been good. It's a nice little spot hidden away in North Augusta. If you want to escape the hustle and bussel of Broad Street and Augusta, for sure come here. Hopefully soon, I'll be able to try them for another meal besides brunch.
google avatar

Shweta B.

Yelp
We shared the spicy feta dip amongst 6 people, and I had the chicken & goat cheese sliders as my main with sweet potato fries as the side. The flavor of the feta dip kinda reminded me of Cheetos - it's not spicy though. It was good to share but not my favorite feta dip/I wouldn't have been able to have a lot. The chicken & goat cheese sliders were yummy and actually quite filling with the sweet potato fries. I enjoyed them - but the meal as a whole is a little on the dryer side because there isn't really any sauce, which is probably to be expected for sliders. Restaurant is small so it great for small groups - the service was great. Our waiter was super friendly and accommodating for our slightly larger group with letting us shift chairs, etc.
google avatar

Melanie S.

Yelp
Ended up coming here due to the wait for other brunch places nearby. They have a decent amount of outdoor seating. I got the chicken biscuit that had pimento cheese on it with a side of home fries. Home fries were well seasoned. Chicken with the biscuit was juicy. My friend got the breakfast tacos which she enjoyed but did need more salsa. Her hubby got the French toast (I think they change the flavors weekly?). While I didn't try the French toast it didn't look as custard-y as I'm used to. Overall the service was good and we enjoyed it.
google avatar

Danie R.

Yelp
They were busy, but the food wasn't great. Super inconsistent. Ribeye was good and hot while the tater tots on the side of them were old and cold. Skip the hot dog. Entirely underwhelming. The side salad was fine. The vinaigrette it came with was amazing though. Except the food runner said he was gonna grab me the dressing and some condiments for the tots and never came back so I had to track down someone to get it. App wise, we got the Caprese flatbread and tuna nachos. Not bad. Nachos were actually very good beyond the oily wontons. Pizza was fine, but it was on a pita bread (or so it looked/tasted) and also cold. It also took forever to pay. Like I didn't start writing this review until we were complete done eating and we still have not found anyone to take our payment yet. They were busy. But it wasn't good. It wasn't terrible. But not good. We were very hungry so we ate it all. Also we only got checked on once. We won't be back. (Still haven't paid, 15 minutes after eating...)

Yelp
Quaint neighborhood restaurant. Indoor and outdoor seating - we love when it's nice outside to enjoy the seating options outside. Great Trivia Nights.

Yelp
The Larder ... Mannnnnn where do I start. Service is ALWAYS A1. The staff is super nice. Attentive. No issues there.  The setting is very serene. I just love Hammond's Ferry.  Sooooo. A chicken biscuit for $16 already sounds like a bad idea. But Im like "Maybe this is the BEST chicken biscuit ever. They HAVE to at least give me a decent portion. Don't they?" Of course not. The chicken was probably equal to MAYBE half of a (small) chicken strip and thinner than my pinky finger. The surface area of the chicken was about half of my palm. (I am not a large man by any means.)  This was probably THE worst chicken biscuit I have had locally. (Taste-wise. I am NOT accounting for portion/value) Including Popeyes, Bojangles, Chickfila and Garys. Dry. Flavorless. And it's something that is so easy to do.  (BRINE YOUR CHICKEN.) You can taste subtle hints of cheddar in the biscuit but it was missing something. I did like the texture of it. Slightly crisp on the edges but soft.  My fiance compared it to a Cheddar Bay biscuit from Red Lobster minus the seasonings and garlic. Accurate description.  S/N: Home fries came with the chicken biscuit were half-done. Nothing special. Chopped up potatoes. No seasoning. Fiance had the Fried Blueberry French Toast. It didnt blow me away but I liked it. It's a single slice of bread, halved. Was very thick though. Was a bit sweet + powdered sugar. I liked the texture on this one too. Almost felt like a desert. She compared it to cake. We both rated it about 7/10. I won't expound on the eggs (not included, ordered à la carte for $1.50) but they were REALLY bad. She called her bacon, "bacon chips" and was not a fan. I ordered a side of bacon ($3 i think). It was a crisper than I like but I enjoyed it. (Some salt. Finally.) Purchased the mimosa flight. Server wasn't too knowledgeable about the flavors. And kinda just gave us whatever when they ran out of some flavors we requested =\. (Can't even critique the flavors bc I dont know what's what. But strawberry was definitely bad.)  Also didn't know what à la carte meant. She was super nice though. Pretty sure IF we come back it will be strictly for a change of scenery and ambiance. I did have plans to visit for the wings one day. Despite them being grossly overpriced. (12 pc. for $18) I did have a friend speak highly of them and they are labeled as "FAMOUS". Which is usually a red flag    I'll revisit this review when I revisit.

Kayley S.

Yelp
I rarely write reviews but I just had a bad experience here. I got the chicken biscuit and it said it came with hot honey, pimento cheese, fried chicken, and a biscuit. What I got was a burnt chicken breast doused in sriracha sauce and a stale biscuit. No honey and only a small bit of pimento cheese. I just wished the menu had said anything about sriracha because I really hate sriracha. Overall it was inedible and the waiter obviously saw I was bummed but I hate complaining and didn't even ask how the food was or anything. The other things we got were egg Benedict and the spicy feta. Would recommend the spicy feta. Eggs Benedict was so bland. The vibes were also off just as a whole.

Zachariah S.

Yelp
So I came early on and was not impressed . However they have made changes to their menu and quality. Now it's a place I would frequent. When it is nice outside they have plenty of outside seating which also helps with COVID concerns. They have great drinks and menu continues to have great staples and specials. The brunch has excellent chicken sandwich and Benedict. Plus great flight of mimosas. I would definitely recommend and continue to come myself
google avatar

Jamsie G.

Yelp
This place is amazing! It's small but perfect. We love to sit outside and play trivia! They have the best homemade pork skins with the best dipping sauce and you can't leave there without trying the Reuben sandwich! It's delicious

Yelp
Just in from airport where we sampled some of Phoenix's great vegetarian eateries. Back in the South. Challenged Kelsey to find a new place without fried food - which is so prevalent here. She wins...this one is on the list for good eats, great taps, and wonderful atmosphere. With great standards playing in the background, a little romantic hideaway. The Larder is a cute, local place. A few months later...not so good. Bartender too young and inexperienced to know how to wait on people at bar...took 20 min to get drinks (build your own gin bloody marry & whiskey mule no less...). Out of avocados on Sat morning. Out of croissants on Sat morning. And the other staff sitting at bar....too much. Questionable if we will be back between the attitude and lack of menu items...what happened?? Who's in charge?

Yelp
If you haven't tried this place yet, I encourage you to give this a try. I had no idea it was in the same area as Manuel's BREAd cafe and Divino and I've have really good experiences at both restaurants. It was actually hard to find a parking space especially since it was kinda packed when I arrived here Saturday after work. I had no idea that this restaurant sold moonshine ice cream.I actually got a chance to get Apple Pie Moonshine ice cream along with the RibEye Melt with kettle chips. It was absolutely worth the visit and I didn't leave disappointed.
google avatar

Olivia M.

Yelp
Good little small restaurant ! Service was fast and friendly. The infused ice cream is really good ! Will definitely return in the near future for other items
google avatar

Crystal C.

Yelp
Like other reviewers, we ended up here for brunch due to wait times at other places. The Larder has whimsical outdoor seating that is appealing and it was very sunny so the staff was bringing out umbrellas to set up, which I thought was really nice. It was a busy Sunday but we still got really good service. I got the breakfast tacos which were surprisingly good, but did have to ask for salsa in the side since there was not much in the tacos themselves. French toast was pretty creative...different from ones we've tried before. All in all, we will be back for sure...maybe dinner and a beer next time with the hanging garden lights on and a band playing!

Sarah F.

Yelp
I do love this place. If you are in North Augusta you should try it out. They have outdoor seating and always have water bowls for your four legged friends. There is also a playground in eyesight of the outdoor seating for the kiddos. Which is great because the wait for your food and adult beverages is going to take a while. Both have always been worth the wait though.
google avatar

Michelle A.

Yelp
I came in here to try it because I've had pretty good experiences with Manuel's Bread Cafe, and this is their sister restaurant. It definitely did not disappoint. It's a little more casual than its cafe counterpart and it is more of a seat yourself and enjoy adult lunchables with your choice of liquor affair. My friend and I sat ourselves and started talking. Time seemed to have gotten away and no one had come to attend to us. The bartender left from behind the bar and asked, "Has anyone come to help you yet?" We shook our head no. He apologized and brought us menus and said, "I'm the bartender, but I'm also the manager. I am very sorry for your wait and the first round of drinks are on me." Unfortunately, we are responsible adults that do not drink and drive, so we refrained from imbibing and opted to get sodas. We ordered a pimento cheese and the chicken and goat cheese sliders to share. The food was delicious and has a very farm to table feel. Even the chips seemed hand cut and fresh. I can't wait till it warms up so I can try this place with its outdoor patio.

Yelp
Some friends and I stumbled upon this place when our first choice for brunch was at capacity. At first glance, the atmosphere was nice and the people seemed friendly. The gentleman who refills the drinks was consistent and never let our cups get below half. Amongst all of us we had: shrimp and grits, bacon, home fries, eggs, Mary Jane drink, sweet tea, and blueberry French toast. The sweet tea, bacon, and eggs were good. The bacon was cooked well, and not too crispy. We found out why none of the other tables ordered French toast. The French toast is actually fried, dark crispy on the outside. The inside is EXTREMELY mushy. It is similar in texture to cake that isn't done baking. They do not offer regular make syrup so if you are allergic to blueberries this isn't for you As The bread itself is quite bland and nothing any of us would order again. Many of us couldn't even finish it. The home fries are simply small cubed potatoes with diced raw onions and tomatoes. There isn't enough onion or tomatoes to mention them honestly we counted about 3 each per plate. They are served with a spicy aioli but ketchup was also available. They weren't seasoned at all, not even with salt. The Mary Jane drink left much to be desired. It was like champagne with pink lemonade. And for a whopping $12 it certainly could have stayed with the bartender that made it. We were quite disappointed that the server suggested this. Again, no wonder we saw so many orders of mimosas coming out and none of what we ordered. The shrimp and grits was actually good before we found a hair in the food. While the staff was nice, they said it would be COMPT. Well I guess that doesn't mean complimentary because the $18 dish was simply reduced by $10 Vice being complimentary for such an unsanitary finding. So many things wrong with the place. The bathroom leaves the patrons wondering why the prices are so high and the restroom isn't tended to properly. Overall, we won't be back due to the lack of care for sanitary conditions, food quality, and price gouging.

Yelp
This is what a modern bodega should look like. Located within Hammond's Ferry, parking requires you to immediately to become a member of the neighborhood. You find an open slot on the street, walk up the sidewalk, passing homes and their front porches as you prepare to enter the best "local bar" in the area. The night I stopped in for supper a local artist was on exhibit. But art is simply an addition to a place that seems to have everything. Local wares on the shelves, regional beers on tap, and locally sourced dishes on the menu all make you feel at home yet takes familiar dishes and adds its own flair. I ordered the Fried Green Tomato BLT and substituted tater tots for the chips. I needed a quality stout on a brisk night and one on tap from down in Savannah was the perfect match. It came out quick, cold, and ready to be enjoyed. Now when the BLT arrived, my first response was in surprise at the sheer size of it. It is not a kid's sized sandwich. And that bread, you don't have to be a bread lover to appreciate the fluffy airy texture of it. The jalapeno bacon gave it the kick, that and the lettuce gave it the crunch, and then the horseradish tarragon aioli was the boot that kicked everything you've ever known about fried green tomatoes and BLT's out the window. The tots had that perfect amount of salt, enough to enhance but not counterbalance the starchiness of the potato. The outside, crisp with each bite tempting you to eat more than one at a time. The team here is top notch and the atmosphere is cozy, close (as in seating), and makes you wish there were a Larder in your neighborhood. I look forward to returning soon.

Yelp
What an awful experience. The server lost my friend's card on her birthday, during her birthday brunch. I hope she develops more responsibility moving forward.

Yelp
We went here for brunch but they also had the lunch menu. We ordered the Larder Benedict and the Ribeye Melt. The benedict had pulled pork on it which had an off putting porky smell. The ribeye melt was bland in flavor and quite dry; the meat itself was a good texture. We asked for extra horse radish, which made the sandwich easier to eat. The sweet potato waffle fries were good. For drinks, we ordered an iced latte and a Blonde Bloody Mary. The latte tasted watered down and the bloody mary was good and spicy. We think for the quality of the latte and the size of the bloody mary, they were overpriced. Service was good, there's plenty of outdoor seating and it is a quaint neighborhood restaurant, which makes it nice for a little family outing. We will most likely not return for brunch or lunch experience, but might return to try some dinner dishes. Sorry, we forgot to take pictures!

Yelp
A little on the pricey side for what they give you. The quality is sometimes on the lower end but great staff and menu options. Trivia on Thursdays is always fun!!

Yelp
This is my first time coming here and I was so disappointed. We usually go to Manuel's or Divino for brunch but it was so packed we decided to walk here and try out. We liked the service but it took forever to receive the lattes we ordered, to then receive it when we almost were finished eating and then, turned out they were so hot I couldn't drink mine. I will def give this place another try because of the service but I hope it does get better because it def lacked the essential.

Yelp
My family & I originally went to Manuel's for brunch after my sister's graduation ceremony, but it was too crowded and too hot to sit outside, so the waitress suggested we go to their sister restaurant, The Larder, which was right down the road, instead. &....we were not disappointed! I ordered a mimosa + the Asian Tuna Salad and they were both delicious! Everyone else seemed very pleased with their freshly made meals as well - from the teriyaki chicken wrap and the crab salad (both specials that day), to the beer selection & fried avocados! Overall, great, cozy spot with fresh food - definitely recommend trying this spot!

Yelp
Really quaint little place with a nice vibe. They have a small bar in the corner that you can sit at to enjoy some food and drinks. In terms of food we went with: Fried Pickles: good way to start the meal. Nicely breaded and fried for a nice crisp bite. Pickles really come through and the sauce is a good addition. Also, goes well with their house hot mustard. Po Boy: again nicely breaded and fried for a good solid crunch. Shrimp is cooked well and not rubbery. Has some greens that go well with the sandwich and their house made slaw adds another good dimension of texture. Overall, a pretty solid sandwich. Ribeye Melt: another solid sandwich. Meat is well cooked and the cheese is a good ratio to not overtake the dish, but helps to elevate the flavors. Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich: decent sandwich. Chicken was a little dry. Flavors were a little bland, but I did only try a bite of the sandwich, so could have gotten a bland edge. Butter Pecan Cheesecake: a little sweet, but has solid butter pecan flavor and some pieces of pecan inside. A good way to finish a meal. Espresso Martini: not on the menu, but really nice boozy dessert coffee. Good coffee notes and not too sweet. I also tried the Azalea, which had some good gin flavor and overall another good drink. Overall, this place a nice for a good sandwich with some fried pickles and a drink. Throw in a little dessert with you have room. Would definitely recommend this place.

Yelp
HFL is tucked in a nice quaint location in North Augusta near the new Green Jacket stadium. My family and I chose to dine outside in the patio which provided a lovely ambiance. We all agreed that the food was delicious and look forward to our next visit. Friendly staff with great customer service.

Yelp
The is my go to on Thursday nights for trivia. Great food and staff. The Chicken Goat Cheese sliders are my go to but there are plenty of other great things on the menu. Every neighborhood should have a Larder.

Yelp
Enjoyed cocktails on the Fourth here at The Larder. The service was great. She did a fabulous job explaining the specials and checking in without being a nuisance. Highly recommend for a relaxing, laid-back atmosphere.
