The Larder of Doylestown, PA has everything you need for baking and cooking for the holidays and all your special occasions. We love all the very out of the ordinary and also hard to get ingredients.

Great place for bulk spices. I assembled ingredients for a BBQ rub for way less $ than I would have paid at a grocery store and without the annoying small jars. The nice folks working there were very helpful.

Very nice store, very friendly and helpful. "00"flour from Italy, semolina flour,14% high gluten flour (not bleached and not bromated) great for pizza and crusty breads.great selection of herbs and spices and all your baking needs.a good variety of candy,they also carry cinnamon chips,the small ones,they are perfect for any cinnamon scone recipe.very well stocked bulk store.

I wish I could rate the Larder higher than a 5... they are beyond a 10!!! Fabulous selection of products. Great for special occasions as their team works with you to create a special gift for someone. They just worked to put together corporate gifts for over 30 people with short turnaround and shipped across the US. Everything made it on time. Just cannot say enough about Emily and her team at the Larder... well done!

Just moved to doylestown and we were thrilled to find the Larder nearby! We’re able to get so many items in bulk; everything from basics like rice and beans to chocolate, baking supplies, spices, and more. Prices are very fair and it’s awesome to be able to reduce waste and plastic. This spot is a gem.

Everytime I step into this charming store, it feels like a trip down Memory Lane! My mom used to take me to the Larder when I was a little girl, and now I take my own children! Holiday baking always starts with shopping for ingredients at the Larder. I can find everything I need to get into the spirit!

Love coming to this place just to shop around. Variety of candy, chocolate, bulk coffee, baking supplies, nuts etc. I do wish they had some candy with better ingredients such as dye free options or ones without corn syrup but overall great selections.

I love this place, great selection, I mainly go for the spices/seasonings and baking supplies, but everything ive ever had here has been great. My favorite part is I'm able to bring in my containers and fill my own containers! Can't say enough good stuff about the larder :)

I love The Larder, as I have been shopping here for close to 20 years. Everytime I go in, I am always greeted and asked if I need help. Today, was very different. First off, there were two people behind the counter, a young man and an older woman. I have never seen either one of them before. Usually, the staff wears green smock-style aprons with "The Larder" printed across the chest. These two people were not wearing aprons. When I got up to the register, I asked about a specific product's availability and was looked at like I was from another planet. I asked again and was given a quick, non direct, somewhat of an answer. Then after I paid, I said "thank you", to which both employees stood silent and turned away. No "you're welcome", no "have a nice day". That is definitely not the normal there. Also, I was not given a bag- I had to struggle carrying my purchases to the car. I hope the original owner is alright and was just off for the day. If today was any indication of how the store will be from now on, I think I will shop elsewhere. I hate to say what an unpleasent experience I had, as I have always enjoyed shopping here.

I love the larder for bulk foods and gift baskets. Back in the late '80's and '90's they were the only game in town. They have teas, coffees, spices, grains and candies. It's alot of fun to poke around - though nowadays you can get alot of these items more cheaply on line or at Wegmans (There WAS NO WEGMANS back in the day). The ladies who originially opened it (they've been around a looooong time) I think no longer own it. But the gals working there are always pleasant and helpful. If you are in D-town and need a gift basket of food items or just want some yummy treats for yourself, check out the Larder for sure!

This place is the best! My husbands grandmother introduced me to this place and she also taught me how to make bread. I love getting my flour and yeast in bulk since I live in NJ. I also load up on spices which are always fresh. Its also fun to try spices Ive never had. I would definitely recommend this place!

Always fresh spices, always an amazing assortment. Location is a bit remote, and my GPS always points me to the wrong location, but I always find the place. Entirely worthwhile making the trip! Call ahead to make sure they have what you want.

I love taking my friends to The Larder - from a wide variety of pastas, flours, nuts, dried fruits, herbs, spices, coffees, teas . . . and on and on and on . . And whenever there's something you need for a special recipe, you can find it there. They also carry gift cards and items, cookie cutters, etc. The women who run the shop are friendly and helpful, the prices are great - what more could you ask for?

After my favorite health food store in Plumsteadville went out of business I thought I'd never find a great place again until I remembered about the Larder. It had been years since I set foot throught it's doors since it's rare that I got down 611 that far. It was even better than I remembered it. It's a foodie paradise! Spices, candies, flour, pretzels, nut, trail mixes, teas, and coffees. They have a wonderful selection. They even have the cookies that you use to put ice cream sandwiches together. Their french vinilla tea is wonderful. And I finally found popcorn salt!

Fantastic candy store. Has all things sweet and not. Careful shopping here though, your eyes may be bigger than your stomach and you may end up getting too much.

I worked with Emily to create a candy bar for my friends wedding. She went above and beyond what I expected. The prices are very reasonable too! She did an amazing job finding the candy in the colors I was looking for. I recommend The Larder to anyone who is having a candy bar at their wedding.

What a gem of a store! The best place to get holiday themed treats or just the right amount of whatever is missing from the pantry! Don't get me started on all the snack mix. An absolute must for any baker or foodie. Eating healthy or looking for a candy fix, this place has it all!

This is a great local place to buy foods in bulk...rice, couscous, dry beans and fruit. My only concern is that they have no nutritional info or expiration dates on anything, but I've never had a problem with their goods.
