The Eagle Las Vegas

Never been here before. Space has been fixed up. Can smell the new paint. Bartender was really friendly and he told me they got new owners. Not sure if it’s the same Eagle owners or not. New furniture it seems. Much better lighting from the pictures I’ve seen online. Still a bit lacking in off bar seating. Has a lot of space for standing and dancing. I’m a vibes kinda guy and the vibes the space gives me is pretty nice. No, it’s not similar to the Eagles in other countries due to Nevada being fussy about sex, alcohol and gaming coming together in a single space. So no sexy stuff on the screens. Or maybe it’s some homophobia on the state’s part because I can recall strip clubs having gaming. No jukebox. I’ll be coming back for sure.

Go support the Garage. Bad customer service, drinks are off, and charge me for using a cc a different price. Felt I was an inconvenience to the lady bartender for being there.

Not like the DC Eagle leather vibe I was expecting, but still the right place. Very smoky indoors (they allow cigars). $5 for a Heineken 0.0 seems steep (they're only $2 at Fun Hog Ranch). Tiny pool table is $1 in quarters (they have a change machine).

They are really trying to make a go at it as a real eagle this time. Go support them! Thank you to Jason and the team.

The Las Vegas Eagle is a local and long-time gay bar that has one of the best things going on for me as a singer and that is having two karaoke nights every week on Tuesday and Friday nights from 10:30pm to 2:00am. On these nights from 10pm to the 2am hour you get free well drinks if you are in your underwear and I have seen straight patrons come back and get into the spirit of the night as well. Fun time for all. Men and Women 21 and older are invited to join in the fun.

All you need to know about the Eagle is that it is super cheap and anything goes. I mean you throw a twenty on the bar and they will take care of you. Drinks are very stiff so be able to handle your booze. Underwear night on Wends is their most popular even though the majority don't strip down. You can do karaoke pretty much anytime. Just a chill place to play some poker and people watch, staff are very chill. Years ago I saw a drag queen beat a bouncer within a inch of his life for telling him to take off his heals :)
