Just spent some time walking the Strip and honestly, there’s nothing quite like it anywhere else in the world! The energy is absolutely infectious from the moment you step onto that famous stretch of Las Vegas Boulevard, you’re swept up in the excitement. What strikes me most is how each hotel and casino has its own unique personality. The Bellagio fountains are mesmerizing, the Venetian’s indoor canals transport you to Italy, and the themed architecture everywhere makes it feel like you’re traveling the world in just a few blocks. It’s like an adult playground where imagination became reality. The people-watching alone is worth the trip you see folks from every corner of the globe, all here to experience something special. There’s this shared sense of adventure and possibility that’s really contagious. Whether people are dressed up for shows, trying their luck at the tables, or just soaking in the spectacle, everyone seems to be embracing the Vegas spirit. Sure, it can be crowded and overwhelming, but that’s part of the charm. The Strip pulses with life 24/7, and there’s always something happening - street performers, live music, incredible food, world-class entertainment.

The Las Vegas Strip truly comes alive at night! Bright lights, music, energy, and that classic Viva Las Vegas feeling everywhere you go. From street performers to world-famous casinos and dazzling shows, there’s always something to see and do. It’s exciting, over-the-top, and unforgettable, a place that has to be experienced at least once in your life

Google
The Las Vegas Strip is the ultimate destination for anyone seeking excitement and adventure. My family and I loved exploring the wide array of attractions, from the iconic fountain shows to luxurious casinos that set the stage for a dazzling experience. The energy on the Strip is unmatched, with something happening around every corner. One of the highlights of our visit was enjoying the incredible dining options available, offering a blend of flavors from all over the world. Whether it was the neon-lit streets or the glamorous hotels, every detail of the Strip was designed to impress. It's a destination that truly delivers a mix of entertainment, elegance, and unforgettable memories.

Google
The Vegas Strip is a fantastic area to explore on foot. There’s no shortage of restaurants, casinos, and shops to visit, and the vibrant energy is nonstop. Be prepared to walk a lot, but the sights are worth it—there’s something to see everywhere you look. It does get super crowded at night, but that’s when the view is at its best.

Google
We took a walk at 4 am and there was no one around. The canals were calm and it was quiet enough to hear the water in the fountains There was gambling and drinks available but no beating down sun And no people around except the guys cleaning the streets! It was cool and clean and fresh. The Brooklyn Bowl is a fun venue for music bowling and drinks and good BBQ sandwiches. The display of flowers of the Bellagio garden are beautiful the copper atrium roof the live piano player. My friends say area 15 is cool but I haven't been there yet. When you go ride the gondolas at the Venetian ask for Amelia's boat. Her voice is amazing!

Second time visiting Vegas and still as crazy as the first! So much to see and do, so many different people along the strip and some amazing food establishments. Vegas strip isn't just for casinos and those who like to partake, there is so much more if that isn't really your thing.

Google
The famous Las Vegas Strip! Strip actually is about a couple miles. Blocks are long. They have escalators to take you up top to walk over then go down to the street. Tons of people! Temps are blazing in the summer!! In the 100’s! Strip full of casino hotels. All kinds of food and drink places along the way. Also street performers. Beautiful at night!

The Las Vegas Strip is the most amazing place in the world, and we get to experience its magic every night as Las Vegas streamers. There’s an energy here that you won’t find anywhere else—bright lights, towering resorts, and nonstop entertainment around every corner. Whether it’s a brand-new restaurant, a wild street performance, or a hidden gem waiting to be discovered, there’s always something exciting happening. We love bringing our viewers along for the ride, showing off the best deals, the coolest spots, and the pure magic that makes the Strip unlike anywhere else on Earth.

Yelp
I'm one of the very few local people who actually loves coming to the Las Vegas Strip. My daughter used to tell me that "Mom, you're the only one I know who loves the Strip" and I thought well, if I don't like it, why would I be living in Las Vegas? I'm not a tree, I can move! But, yes, I love the Strip! I search for actual activities, free or paid ones, restaurants, concerts, shows, shops, and anything else that interests me. Even if I don't have too much time or money to spend, I still enjoy going out for people watching. Love walking around the Strip, not summertime, of course, but every other month of the year. I bring my friends with me very often. It amazes me how many people talk negatively about the Strip. I'm sure they don't know much about it! My favorite thing about the Strip is that it is visually stunning with all the hotels and casinos, the beautiful landscaping, and all the restaurants! Parking on the Strip is no longer free, but with a local ID, most casinos are still giving 3 hours of free parking. And with different Rewards cards, like MGM reward card (Perl status), parking is free in almost half of the city casinos, since many of them are owned by MGM. The parking at the Fashion Show Mall is still free! Also, TI Hotel & Casino parking garage is free too! Walking on Las Vegas Blvd, crossing the street is limited, unless you use the skywalk bridges. It's for everyone's safety and benefit. A lot of times, you can see blocked lanes, due to construction, or special events. Plan accordingly! Don't get stuck in traffic! There are more than one road in Las Vegas, so get around it!

Yelp
Pretty dead . Formula one event so completely fenced up . Not many people walking . Not what I remember from years and years ago when I was here . I did noticed a ton of new buildings . The Vegas lights are always cool. I got to have Gordos Tacos so that was plus !!

Yelp
The Las Vegas Strip is well known as the entertainment capital of the world. People from all over the world have visited. There is no other place like it! Do you want thrills and excitement? It's Vegas, Baby!! What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas! We all know that saying! The Strip is about 4 miles long, from the Mandalay to the Stratosphere. It is formally known as the Las Vegas Boulevard. There are so many hotels, casinos, restaurants, shops, and exhibits on the Strip to warm your heart. Practically anything you desire and fantasize about is available as long as you can afford it. So, bring all your credit cards, cash, sexy clothes, and have at it! Don't be shy! Vegas is open 24/7.

Yelp
Spectacular... This massive strip that's filled with so much attraction not to be missed and has grown and evolved in the good and bad. The bad crowd as usual, parking has been the biggest price gouging ridiculousness, getting around anywhere takes forever. The good...it's the fun place to do whatever you choose...gamble, shop, eat, browse and just escape as what happens in Vegas is your choice. The Bellagio fountains and Conservatory & Botanical Garden, Venitian gondola, New York New York rollercoaster, Caesars Palace, and yes the Las Vegas Sphere just to name a few and as driving certainly is the best convenience though parking has gotten insane the draw to view something unique and fun is certainly found here and as much exhausting it can be I do love walking the strip especially in the evening as it all comes alive in the most vibrant and lively show it's definitely known for. Thank you!

Yelp
I had a great time on the Las Vegas Strip there was so much to do so little time. I was able to explore quite a bit of the area and found some good places to eat and sightsee. This place is chock full of people and the energy is like nothing else you'll ever experience in your life. This is truly a bucket list place. There were businesses that sold drinks that weren't too expensive and I was able to get a good picture of the Eiffel Tower!

Yelp
You have to hit up the strip if you want to say you visited Las Vegas! It gets super crowded on weekends and at night especially, but isn't that part of the fun? If you're intimidated by the heat, come out at night or stick to walking inside the casinos for the air conditioning. I didn't realize I walked three miles until I got to the end of the strip-I was seriously entranced by all the sights and stores. It is super beautiful at night with all the lit up buildings and LED displays. The Sphere also has some cool displays (and advertisements). Best of all, you don't have to spend money to enjoy it, although there's plenty of places if you want to. I think the day time is more family-friendly. In the evening there's hustlers and people handing out escort cards, which isn't my cup of tea personally.

Yelp
The Las Vegas Strip is a stretch of Las Vegas Boulevard in Clark County, Nevada. It is known for its concentration of resort hotels and casinos. At night it is filled with bright neon lights that can be seen from a far. The best time to tour the Strip is at night, it's bright and alive. The ambiance is fantastic. There are night tours that you can go on with a guide. Even have helicopter tours. The city is beautiful to see up and above. Las Vegas is a safe tourist destination with no travel restrictions or advisories. Las Vegas has a noticeably lower crime rate than the average crime rate of other communities of similar popular sizes, but always be mindful of your surroundings.

Yelp
We had fun exploring different hotels in 1 day. If you're not into gambling like us, doing hotel/casino hopping is the way to explore the strip. We parked at the mall, paid $15 for an all day rate, and walked across the bridge. Mall parking is free but it was very impossible to find a spot. Instead of wasting more time, paid the valet. Visited 1. Wynn. 2. Venetian 3. Caesars 4. Treasure Island We walked for 5 hours and back to the mall before closing time 10pm.

Yelp
I have been going to Vegas since my high school days. So I have seen many of the changes that have taken place over the years. I remember driving to Las Vegas from L.A. for the first time in the middle of the night with some buddies and seeing the lights from afar. We passed the iconic Las Vegas sign and went cruising down the Strip. It was a scene from the movie "Swingers" where we were yelling "Vegas Baby Vegas" out the window while in awe of the bright lights from all the hotels. The Luxor was still being built when I first visited Las Vegas over 30 years ago. What makes Las Vegas fun is walking up and down the streets and checking out all of the different hotels. I feel like every time I go to Las Vegas, either a new hotel is being built or an older one is coming down. It is sad when you watch the videos of some of the old iconic hotels like Sands and Riviera being demolished. I miss the days when coming to Vegas was dirt cheap and you could get a room and buffet dinner for almost nothing. Today, the rooms are pretty pricey if you stay at one of the nicer hotels. I have probably stayed at close to fifteen different hotels on the Vegas Strip. They all have their perks and I have a few favorites that I still go back to. Las Vegas has changed over the years and has become more family friendly with more rides and entertainment (and sports venues) which I think has driven up the prices. Fine dining has become a thing too with celebrity chefs opening restaurants up and down the Strip. The Las Vegas Strip is about four miles long and is known for its concentration of resort hotels and casinos. The Strip has one of the highest concentrations of LEED-certified buildings in the world. The "Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas" sign and Mandalay Bay are at the southernmost part of the strip. The Strat is at the northern most part of the Strip. Beyond the northern part of the Strip is Downtown Las Vegas and Fremont Street. If you want to get a nice view of the entire Las Vegas Strip, take a trip up to the observation deck of the Strat at night. The Luxor Lamp has the strongest light beam in the world and Sphere is the world's largest LED sphere display screen. Las Vegas isn't always glamourous and has its downsides. There is a reason it is nicknamed Sin City. In the older days, every corner was lined with paid workers that would shove "adult entertainment" cards advertising escorts and working girls on the Strip in your hand. It has gotten a little better, but those guys are still there. You can drink on the Strip and sometimes the streets are littered with beer cans and trash. And it can get very very crowded. Vegas probably is not the best place for kids during the later hours of the night. If you miss seeing some of the old Las Vegas Strip buildings and signs from the old days, head over to the Neon Museum north of the Strip. The Neon Boneyard features many of the signs from old casinos and other businesses.

Yelp
What is the one place that you're u can experience that you can experience the music and magic all in one ? Just gave to remember What happens in Vegas Stays in Vegas . When you have reservations you catch the taxibthat will take you the drive to the stop the sites of the Parisian. Yelp
The Las Vegas Strip is connected to certain hotels like Caesars Palace, Bellagio, and Cosmopolitan. I really enjoy walking the strip in mornings, afternoons, and especially at nights. It's really good for walking, exercising, and exploring to different areas and hotels. It can be tiring as you keep walking through the strip, but it's actually fun though. Better than taking Uber or taxi in my opinion in terms of free roaming and budgeting. There tends to be a lot of people in the strip. So you may need to be aware of your surroundings. You can even find good spots to go to. Who knows? You probably found something and you want to go there. If you haven't been to the strip yet, try walking around!

Yelp
I'm Moving Living 420 Day Clark County Nevada Las Vegas Strip I'm in Las Vegas in County, NV. My primary residence is an 8 bedroom home on 3 acres of land and I rent out my extra Hello,My name is ***** ***** i am an attorney with Just Answer with over 30 years of experience. I would be happy to assist you with your legal questions. What town or city and the county do you live in? Customer Hi, I'm in Las Vegas which is in Clark County, NV Thank you.Have you researched the Las Vegas zoning code? Customer I've researched everything I could online and can't seem to find a clear answer for Clark County. I have found that answers that state that some counties do not allow more than X number of non related people living together and have found that other counties allow up to 2 people to live in a residence for every bedroom and 1 for every living room. But can't get a clear answer for Clark County Okay, but you must look up the City of Las Vegas Zoning rules? You can also call the city zoning office and ask them too. Customer I'm not in the City of LAs Vegas Customer Clark County, NV specifically. Customer I've called the county office and comprehensive planning, unfortunately the clerks there can never give me a clear answer either. Las Vegas must also have jurisdiction over your property too. Do you pay city property taxes? That is if Las Vegas has jurisdiction over your property. Customer Las Vegas has two counties... they have the area around the strip, which is considered "The City of Las Vegas" and they have very different rules than the rest of Las Vegas, which is where 90% of the rest of Vegas is, and that's Clark County. Customer My property tax is paid to Clark County In Clark County up to four unrelated people are allowed to live in a single-family residence by code. Customer Oh you found something, thank you. Can you link me to your source? This is in accordance with local zoning laws and regulations. Please note that these regulations can change, so it's always a good idea to check with local authorities for the most current information. This is what was found. No code was cited. Customer Do you have a source? Customer I found a source on this website that's saying different https://www.justanswer.com/law/25idq-unrelated-people-live-one-single-family-dwelling.html Customer I've found news articles that report HOA's are citing the "no more than four unrelated people can't live in a single-family residence by code" to stop houses in their community from having too many roommates, but I can't find it's a code that actually applies to Clark County as it just seems to be hearsay without any real source. Customer I'm trying to do my best to research everything, it just gets confusing when there's not something concrete in something that's official and I don't want to make a large financial investment until I'm 100% certain. Yelp
There's plenty of lights and entertainment on this strip. There is plenty of walking to be done and nothing is quite straightforward while walking. There's a few crosswalks but the majority of the streets are connected by overhead walkways. These walk ways can be quite a distance away, so have good walking shoes

Yelp
I have visited the Las Vegas Strip for business and pleasure more times than I can remember and it never gets old. The casinos, restaurants, hotels and attractions are some of the most grandiose and world renowned, all within a 5 mile stretch. The glitz, lights and glamour is also a sight to see. Some of my favorites that I have enjoyed is MGM Grand, Caesar's Palace, and Cosmopolitan. I usually stop by the Fashion Show Mall to pick up the latest gear on the trip and chill out for a cigar at Davidoff, Eight, Montecristo or Casa Fuente. For those late night munchies, In N Out, White Castles and Tacos El Gordo. Day or night, I enjoy myself, all the time.

Yelp
Review #1111 and it's been a fun ride. The Las Vegas Strip is one of the Greatest Places on Earth! It has everything you want or need at almost all hours of the day every day of the year. There are sections that definitely need re-done, and some are in the process of being improved which can make it tricky to navigate by walking, but the bridges over the cross streets definitely help keep things moving for vehicles and pedestrians. I do recommend walking at least a portion of the strip as it's perfect for people watching. You'll see things you may not see in your home city. There are lots of little shops where you can grab a quick snack. You can pop into a casino to cool off (or warm up depending on the season). There are other attractions and plenty of discount ticket booths for shows and other stuff. With legal marijuana, there are also plenty of places to stop and indulge, with bud-tenders waiting to assist you in your purchase. At roughly 4 miles from the south end (Mandalay Bay) up to the Stratosphere, it is possible to walk the whole thing, so make sure you have practice walking in Stiletto's before you go! There are plenty of places to stop along the way too!

Yelp
Obviously fun activity that you are bound to do, since this is way makes up Vegas but we are here for the kids to see it for the first time. I think they enjoyed their adventure and got to see so many visual wonders, like the dancing fountains, the TI volcano, all of the hotels, amazing stores, themed restaurants galore, the sphere, so much that a week is not even enough to truly see it all. Having come here almost ten times is not enough either. Every time we are here things change drastically and it takes an entire vacation to even crack the surface. You also get so many step in, we walked over 22,000 steps the first day here. The only thing I hate is so many bridges to go up and down at all times, and it is no longer a straight path up and down the strip and sometimes the escalators and elevators are closed, so you are forced to go up and down steps when you are hot and extremely tired after a long day venturing up and down the strip. It is really, the main reason to be here. A lot of fun and a lot of exercise.

Yelp
I live in Los Angeles. But I am madly passionately in love with Las Vegas. We have never stayed off strip because - why would you do that? This is the best - gambling, food, resorts... I love it all. When my flight lands in Vegas... I feel this weird crazy happiness knowing I'm only a few minutes from the strip. Yes, I married Los Angeles... but I am having a wild love affair with Las Vegas. The Las Vegas strip is my happy place.

Yelp
Where all the partay-ing took place Prior to the Pandemic And when we saw brighter days since gas was $2.99 or lower....where have those days gone?! Lovin' a Las Vegas trip to the Strip because all the major Hotels with free attractions existed here and that super fun monorail ride on top of hotel shuttles so you can actually roam about South Las Vegas Boulevard in 1 day without driving around if you would be up for that!!!! There existed many shops on the Strip, Souvenir stores, free shows....etc. Wish I was there right now. Parking was A Lot more convenient back in the normal days I heard.....

Yelp
Man, Vegas seems to be changing every two weeks, it seems. I come through maybe average once a year, and every time I do, it's like something is different or got updated. Even the name of the airport got changed. What I feel has gotten even more and more progressively challenging is the amount of people coming through. There's no such thing as downtime in this city anymore. Any day at any given week draws a crowd - worse on weekends. Case in point: fam came through on a Wednesday-Saturday run and the strip gets crazy CRAZY crowded. I can't imagine what it's like during the weekends. There's always some event going on as well: concerts, football games, festivals. And there's more to Vegas than just gambling. There are shows, TONS of eateries, shops and things to do for small as well as big kids. But that isn't all bad: more tourists means more revenue for the city. What city doesn't like that? So if there's any tip I would give anyone who's never been, it's this: plan accordingly and plan for contingencies for everything. If things fall in place, you will have a great time!

Yelp
Planet Cafe was awesome they had the best service. Quality and very professional staff. Our waitress was Daniella, she was the best. I highly suggest eating there.

Yelp
today i visited the las vegas strip. It was good and all until it was time to leave, there was nice people, and etc. There are 4 places where you can park, we wasted 1 HOUR trying to find out where it was until some nice security ladie help us. My ankles hurt so much i can not explain, there going to be very sour tomorrow, maybe i will get a massage, but there would be no need if the parking places all had the same name. They don't want to see my dark side. Also so much smoking i can not breathe also im going to pass out and eat after. Saw my boi drake the snake too.

Yelp
Go midweek. Weekends are insanely crowded, and it can be very hard to walk down the strip with all the peddlers, street performers and tourists from all walks of life. Everything is SUPER expensive and I mean EVERYTHING. What really bothered me the most was the combination of cigarettes, weed and really bad men's cologne smells to the point that is permeated my nostrils for days! I don't like how it is really difficult to cross over to the other side of the road as there are only a few overhead crosswalks and one or two crosswalks in the road - people do not follow the signals and saw several people almost get hit. The slots at the casinos are super tight and I never saw anyone get a hand pay or even slightly win big. There are many great restaurants to eat at, but they don't come cheap. Vegas is great (for about 24 hours) and maybe once every 5-10 years. I was ready to leave.

Yelp
What cha looking for??!! Party? Dancers? People doing funny things?? Lights? Man I could go on and on. Whatever you are looking for or what you may NOT be looking for you will find here...trust me! Tourist trap at its finest!!! Ahhh but you keep coming back lol. I have a great time in Vegas even though normally I don't gamble. I have hit a few slots just to dapple but never more than 30 mins. There is plenty to do off and on the strip. Funny to say but they actually do have things for kids to do as well. I wouldn't recommend brining kids but if you must there are things for them to do as well. Or shall I say hotels that cater to them. I have enjoyed sand dunes, ATVing, helicopter rides, Hoover dam tour, escape rooms, zip lining, horseback riding and so much more. Yes of course just about ever hotel has slots and tables but there is so much more than just that. There are food places galore. Most are catered to the not as healthy choices...such as Panda Express, McDonald's, N & out burger, and several other fast food. I did find some vegan/vegetarian spots but the two that I found that were so delicious are off the strip. I have to say I am in love with the Bellagio hotel but the flower display inside is beyond!! Everytime I have to make a trip to see it! That hotel also has all the luxury stores such as omega, and Hermès just waiting to take your money!! I have to stay there one day. But there are so many hotels on the strip such as the cosmopolitan, aria, MGM grand, caesars palace, psalms, flamingo, the Venetian, Luxor, Paris Las Vegas, the mirage, Mandalay Bay and so many more! There's something for everyone and each persons budget! All in all Vegas has a good amount to offer on and off the strip! People watching has to definitely be on the TOP of my list when it comes to enjoyment!! See you soon the city of "what happens in Vegas...stays in Vegas!!

Yelp
Omg it's been maybe 13 years since my last Visit in Vegas. And I was surprised that I saw a lot of Billboards now, I didn't like that part 'coz it mostly covering the good view of the Strip. We arrived at night time, and after checking into our Hotel we didn't waste time and rushed to the Strip right away. As usual, LAS VEGAS is always packed and I noticed lots of mini restaurants of food were added around. It's been years that we haven't been here and the thing I was excited to to see here again was that big Pirate boat and the show they do in front of Treasure Island. I didn't see it anymore, I guess it's long gone. But the rest of the Vegas Strip is still Amazing to visit!

Yelp
The Las Vegas strip is something that I definitely recommend everyone at least visit one time in your life that's my plan is just to do one time and not go back because it's 140,000° in Las Vegas and it's very expensive. But it was an awesome experience for sure to see in the field and just experience

Yelp
Can I be less than stellar for the strip?! I'm an F1 fan and this is beyond ridiculous !! This is an obvious money grab. The amount of money being spent is stupid. Whoever decides this is a good thing needs to meet with the planning committee and get their sheeeit together!!

So, this was our first time in Las Vegas as we were in town for my daughter's wedding. Let me just say that coming here, if you're staying on the strip anywhere, don't rent a car. Use the monorail and walk...it's easier to get around that way. Lots of stores, lots of personality, lots of things to see and do, and of course plenty of places to eat. Expect things to be a bit expensive, but it's all good. Good food, and some of the niche stores are pretty nice, albeit expensive. Next time we come, I look forward to covering the places I was not able to cover this go-round.

Yelp
The place is very nice, lots of lights but very crowded. Definitely a place I would go to again but to many alcoholics and smokers. Place is very dirty but a nice place to shop and walk. Go check out places outside Las Vegas Strip! You will not regret.

Yelp
On June 28th-30th my boyfriend and I took a short trip with our friends Rachael and Greg. We stayed at the Cosmopolitan Resort & Casino, got a relaxing Aquamassage, hair styled, fake tat, shopped at the Miracle Mile Shops, visited Aria Resort & Casino and several restaurants. We had an amazing time and let's just say we will definitely be back, it was a great memorable first trip to Las Vegas for me! I would definitely recommend paying a visit to one of the most famous areas in Vegas!

Yelp
6-27 to 6-30-2021 Vegas, with temperatures 100+ degrees kept many tourists indoors. Usually you'll see people on the sidewalks of the strip but with the heat, the only outdoor area with people were by the Bellagio fountains. Many parking garages were quite full so it appeared visitors were staying indoors especially at the newest Hilton World Resort. A word of caution: We last visited in September 2019 and since then all the big name hotels that we went to this time are plagued with urine run off in the parking structures. It was almost difficult to step out of your car without witnessing the after effects of emptying full bladders by parked cars vs using restrooms. Another thing that has changed are some casinos now have paid parking garages, not all are free like before. I learned that a tram runs from Treasure Island to the Mirage and also a walkway from Treasure Island to Fashion Show Mall. Possibly due to the pandemic some shops and restaurants close earlier than before. Just do a little research on Yelp to locate what's open for meals or snacks. Shows are beginning to slowly open up recently too. Others are booked over a week or two out. Like Waikiki, tourists are flocking back to Vegas as full flights are arriving and departing. Be prepared to wait in lines for rental cars, valet services, restaurants and checking into your hotel. Maybe the economy will begin to pick up and the bright lights of the Las Vegas strip will have full sidewalks of visitors by the time the next Bellagio exhibit changes and the temperatures take a dip to more comfortable weather soon. Viva Las Vegas...

Yelp
I think it's safe to say that for a good many people 2021 was rough, particularly for those of us who like to be centered on solid ground and surrounded with familiar things we can trust. The entire year to me felt like an earthquake in the middle of a hurricane making landfall during a mudslide. Constant movement, constant change, constant chaos, and if I'm being honest, constant fear of what still may come. We needed an escape, so my wife and I decided to follow-up on a wish list item we've had on the shelf for more than a decade. We finally decided it was time to visit Las Vegas. [ THE EXPERIENCE ] We are not gamblers, we're not night people (generally in bed by 10pm), we don't really go to clubs, concerts or live shows very often. So I honestly didn't think we'd have a good time in Vegas. Yet ironically we did because it appealed deeply to our ongoing desire to see new places and experience new things. The strip is entertaining from end to end with a wild variety of things to see from amazing architecture to people in costume. I mean, call me naïve, but it took me a day or so to figure out the ladies walking around in showgirl outfits were not actually showgirls! LOL We enjoyed all the people watch, the mind blowing malls inside themed hotels, and amazing array of places to eat. It was kinda like walking through a dream where the scenery changes drastically from one moment to the next. I was truly a kid at Christmas as each hotel was like boxes of new gifts inside a larger box. We walked the strip as far as we could before hopping on a bus back to our resort, and even that was entertaining as a confrontation broke out between a few riders over not wearing masks. Lord help us all! [ FINAL THOUGHTS ] I must admit I got a little nostalgic as I looked back on our time in Vegas while editing the pics. Sometimes you just don't know you are in a funk until you can get away from regular life just for a little while to visit someplace new. We didn't get to see everything we wanted, but we saw more than enough to feel an eagerness to return. Many visit Vegas regularly, and for them some things become old hat. But for us EVERYTHING was fresh, new eye candy... almost too much to take in and yet we still wanted to see more. Thanks for the memories Vegas Strip! It was EXACTLY what we needed exactly when we needed it! 2022 / 65

Yelp
Ready, set, go! Are you excited? Get your happy on. What happens in Vegas should be shared with those that you love. For it truly the only place that you can come together and indulge in almost any thing. One might think that this is one of the seven deadly sins. Right! No, I'm talking about the times that you will share among those that you love. Money, power, drinks, gambling, food, just fill in the blank will not bring YOU happy. It's the created happiness that you share among the friends and family that YOU will remember. It will bring you and yours back and back again. Let's explore what the Vegas strip has for you! Something in every crack and crevice exists to do in Vegas. Prior to COVID, one call to the right place and all your dreams came true. Late night pool parties, exclusive entry. Take the elevator to the very top, the doors open best views of the Vegas skylines. Drink Ik this hand, cigar in the other it doesn't get better than a sky view out side from the top. Perhaps you would like to walk the streets of Paris. Take the elevator to the top of the Paris and on the way out lock your lock and keep that key. Forever your happiness will be yours and for all to view here with all the other locks. Don't throw away that key. Keep it to unlock the next adventure. I remember dancing the nights away! The dance floors lift up and rotate. The ceilings will move all those laser lights. As you dance, the trance centers you and yours. Be as one as the rhythm guide you together. Float on the cloud that you make as the energy builds in the room. The beats are going, the DJ creates the perfect atmosphere for your soul to belong too. In our post COVID world, for a minute the strip during the shut down was a ghost town. The only souls out here were security guards and cameras. The casinos cannot be locked. They are twenty four hour places. Security guards along with their army of watchers kept the strip in order for when the guests could return to fun. Many many choices have had to be made in the name of healthy. They figured it out. One can bet ? The hotels have allowed gambling again. Safe gambling? Sure. A team of cleanliness angels walk behind us sweeping up. These angels ensure that you have a clean table and machine to test Lady Luck at. Sports gambling is back to, with the return of sports betting. The sports books are all opened back up now. Place those bets. Pick winner for those parleys. Cheers to the winners Drink another round to the losers, and place those bets again. Why do you come to Vegas for? Excitement, thrills, and the best eats from all over the world in one place. You will never leave unhappy. Come and discover your fantasy. Bring the family, Vegas is about the happiness that you share among one another. Treat yourself to your wildest desires. Now that I've spilled some of Sin City's best secrets it's time for you to come out and play.

Yelp
From near or afar, it's quite an architectural and man-made marvel supported by gambling, spa, eating and vacation money. So many themes, styles and attractions. So much to see.

Yelp
The Vegas Strip is one of the most interesting streets in America. I really enjoyed it. Below are a couple of takeaways in order to save money. 1, Don't take pictures with showgirls and Hollywood characters. They will ask you to pay some money aggressively. If they ask you to take pictures, please kindly say" IDGAF"! LOL. 2. Please buy beer, soda, water, and other essentials at Walgreen, CVS, or Target. The stores offer cheaper prices than stores at hotels. 3. Use the Deuce bus. You can buy the 24-hour valid ticket at the RTC app. 4. Popular free attractions such as Mirage volcano, and Bellagio's water shows are very short like 5 minutes. Check the schedule. 5. Early morning is not so crowded to walk around. Enjoy!

Yelp
Many of the family attractions on the strip have gotten smaller and aren't worth the prices they charge. Also when walking the strip a very large man deliberately bumped into and brushed up against my minor granddaughter. Then mickey mouse tried to hit on her and get her to go partying. The man took off. Mickey mouse got a attitude adjustment

Yelp
The strip. It's not for everyone but it is definitely unique to Las Vegas. There is so much to say about likes and dislikes that they wouldn't allow enough characters to be typed. My most important recommendation would be to watch YouTube videos about Las Vegas and take notes on your phone so you can refer to them on your vacation. YouTube has everything on where to stay, eat, drink, gamble, shows, and much more. I'll just touch on a few that stood out for me. Try to stay Center City. It puts you in the middle of everything and decreases the walking. ONLY stay Sunday to Wednesday. The other days of the week are outrageous. Everything, and I mean everything, is expensive. Make sure you save for the trip. Go to a Walgreens or CVS for your incidentals (water, beer, snacks) Way cheaper! Check the Hours. They are no longer a 24/7 town and places open in the afternoon and close early. You will not not even scratch the surface with 4 days. Just try to see the things you are most interested in and leave the rest for another time. Use ride-share. Taxis are a rip off. Public transportation is inexpensive but it takes a long time to get places and every minute counts when your time is short. Don't forget to leave Las Vegas and see Natures wonders (Red Rock, Valley of fire, The Mighty 5 in Utah. Etc.) These could be your Thursday thru Sunday adventures and are slightly more reasonable. I enjoyed my 4 days there and will go back in the future. Why? Because Vegas reinvents itself often. I just have to work some overtime and start saving again. I hope you enjoy Sin City.

Yelp
Came to see what COVID-Las Vegas Strip stuff is about. Wasn't worth it even if it was free. Depends on the time too. 11am isn't bad and the some of the streets have barely any people, but evenings near the Bellagio is just dumb energy. You generally want to avoid the crowds you see on LV Blvd during the evenings. Y'all ain't woke without a mask and screeching like a dollar store Cardi B. Use your common sense and space out, jesus. Restaurants that are out on the strip are PACKED. Also, too many not wearing masks. Our group noped out as soon as we saw the streets and decided to go back to our hotel for a netflix party instead. The Strip rn is pretty much done since most things are closed anyway. Better off waiting next year or go outside Vegas.

Yelp
I'm sorry. My recent trip was marred by the unsafe and unsavory people walking on The Strip. Kevin and Karens' flaunting no masks. Wanna be thugs being loud and disrespectful. I was told by my local friends to be careful. Yes, I frankly felt at risk. Left my jewelry and bling in the hotel safe. Unpleasant. And I'm from Oakland.

Yelp
Monorail is set up so you have to go through entire hotel to get to it - So a lot of walking. Played, drank and ate at every hotel on the strip, day and night, even at the Waldorf, and did not find any exceptional food, or drinks, and very few people winning on slots, so nothing felt exciting - highly disappointing. Pretty sure that was our last trip to Vegas.

Yelp
It's Memorial Day and my first trip down here to see what's it all like during COVID. Man its crazy to to see what few cars and how many bicycles are down riding the strip. Parked at Fashion Show and walked up to New York, New York and back. No smells and it was quite clean with clean sidewalks, no sticky spots from the spilled drinks. A few trash cans overflowing but not too bad. I counted literally 2 homeless people laying on the sidewalks the entire walk, that's all!! None of those people flicking nakie lady cards at you either. It was super peaceful. The Bellagio fountains were not on but the Mirage fountains were. Sad to see all the hotels/casinos boarded up. All the signs showing closed. Entryways to parking garages blocked off. Security guards wearing masks standing at some walkways/entryways to casinos so you can't get in. Some were able to stand in the shade, others like by the Cosmo had to stand in the sun, poor guy is gonna have a super sexy mask tan on his face. A new Target is being opened and America Eagle is new that I noticed, not sure how long that has been there, AE was open and required masks, they were provided if you didn't have one, Ross was also open. I miss Crack Shack and Eataly and there are other places I want to eat at so I'm looking forward to our city reopening again!!

Yelp
Last night the family and I took a drive down Las Vegas Blvd. It was a rare treat for us as we normally steer clear of all the craziness that goes on here. We approached it from the south end and began our ride. I loved the way the hotel windows were decorated with hearts made from the lamps of the empty rooms. Paying homage and giving appreciation to our healthcare workers and all other essential working people. The special message that was lit up on The Wynn and Encore was so beautiful and touching. The emptiness of the famous strip felt surreal and haunting at the same time. When you have lived here as long as I have ( 47 years), never have I experienced the strip closed. Seeing the empty streets, no pedestrians trying to rush across the street before the light changes, no noise, no street vendors shoving girlie pamphlets at you, no dressed up fake hero's or Hello Kitty's, and no trash! This is history for us! Don't get me wrong, I don't wish for the strip to remain this way as I know so many people need to get back to work. This is our lively hood and we need visitors to return, but ONLY when it is truly safe. It was such a unique and magical experience. I will always appreciate our drive down the strip during Covid19!

Yelp
With the anticipated opening of the US Economy, Vegas will be opening up soon but not all properties and casinos will open immediately... Hopefully the vibe will still be the same and people can still enjoy themselves.

Yelp
When I think of the Las Vegas Strip, I mostly think of walking the strip where the hustlers are out in force. I've been coming to Vegas for around 20 years, and walking the strip is gritty Vegas at it's best. They hustle you for girls, they hustle you for shows, they hustle you for buffets, alcohol, etc, nothing is off limits!! You also get a glimpse of the other side of Vegas, the side that they push down past Fremont Street, that's just reality. Driving the strip is another experience. I could harp on the traffic, especially on a Saturday night. But it's a great way to see all the Hotels/Casinos. I highly recommend renting a convertible while in Vegas, this way you can really see everything, it's a game changer!! I like everything about the Strip, even with all the changes, but that's Vegas, they been changing and continue to change with the times.

Yelp
Leave the Las Vegas Strip to the to affluent tourists. This small section of Las Vegas gets away with acting like a global metropolis like Toyko and New York. The prices in general are so outrageously high but the experience is far from places like Maui. There are only three reasons you should be traveling to Vegas. You've never been, you're on business, or you're here for a wedding. Why it sucks - The outrageous $40 a night resort fee. If you haven't been to Vegas lately you're in for some major sticker shock when they inform you that they're adding a mandatory $40 a night resort fee.. It doesn't matter if you use any of the "resort fee" services or not. The outrageous parking fees now being charged, in addition to the resort fees. Treasure Island might be the last free hotel parking on the strip. Everyone serving you on the strip expects 20% gratuity as the starting point. Even the cashier at the Bacchanal buffet demanded a tip..just for charging my credit card! You're also expected to tip the table servers. Top five scary things about walking the Las Vegas Strip. 5 - The strip is basically a 4 mile walk inside a huge cloud of marijuana smoke... 4 - Way too many women wearing VERY unflattering attire. 3 - Guys so drunk that they've urinated on themselves. Pretty common on weekends. 2 - Escort advertising everywhere. Escorts dressed like showgirls begging for pictures. Escorts sitting at the various hotel bars pretending to be lonely divorced conventioneers only to disclose that they're escorts when you get them up to the hotel room.. (at least that's what I've heard) And the number one scariest thing on the Las Vegas strip. 1- People bringing their KIDS to Vegas..

Yelp
It is starting to look like a place where all sorts can just go and do anything..Felt like a place to watch yourself..People are just getting ruder..

Yelp
Vegas is more than Shows-Gambling and strip club Not everyone does the gambling or go to Strip club, for them Strip is best to walk on. It is app 3 miles walk from Mandalay Bay (South end) to Wynn Casino (North End). The main strip starts and ends here only. Ahead of Wynn, you can take a cab and go to old Vegas where stratosphere and old Vegas charm still make you feel good. There are lots of 'To-Do' on the strip. Every night at 8 & 9 PM, there is a volcano show in front of The Mirage hotel. Every 15 minutes, there is a famous fountain show at Bellagio (Both are free). Wynn- Encore - Treasure Island-The Palazzo- Venetian-Flamingo- Caesars Palace- the Mirage-Bellagio-Paris-Aria-MGM-Luxor-Excalibur-Mandala Bay- these are best hotels and casino on the strip. My fav is Wynn, Venetian and Caesars Palace. Décor of these hotels are mind-blowing. Visit any hotel at any time. Shops get closed by 11 PM everywhere. The views along the strip are pretty spectacular. The strip offers one of the largest varieties of restaurants all packed in one area. Famous chef's such as Emeril Lagasse and Gordon Ramsay have all opened up several restaurants to dine in. Not just dining, there are shows available at all time and even at a discounted rate. You can seriously see ALL different types of the human race here. Extremely drunk people and the constant smell of marijuana -yup you can also find folks having these on strips. Be careful of people trying to offer you drugs, strippers & tickets! The monorail runs between all hotels and it's not free. What I found by roaming on the strip for 2 days is, there are 3 trams runs between specific hotels. Tram - Between Mandalay Bay-Luxor & Excalibur Tram - Between Aria-Park MGM & Bellagio Tram - Between Treasure island & Mirage All these trams rides are free. So in summer, you can plan accordingly. Don't worry about parking the Venetian, Palazzo, Fashion Mall and Treasure Island do not charge for parking. All three are on opposite corners of the Wynn. So park at either of these places and start roaming. Yes one can say it is overhyped, but again, its Vegas baby !!!
