Great coffee!!! The place has a fun and spacious vibe with a very friendly staff! The bagels are fresh and delicious from a local bagel shop and plenty of ready pastry options.

Google
Great place to hang out and have a drink. The tables are pretty small buts that’s about my only complaint. Clean space, clean bathrooms, friendly staff.

I stopped in to this coffee shop after leaving another before ordering and am so glad that I did! The staff were so nice and personable! It was quiet and clean. My lavender latte was delicious! I'll definitely be back!

I've been getting coffee here for a long time, i'd have to say they have the greatest most laid back attitude. The coffee is good. The whole thing is nice. It's a bathrooms are usually clean. The staff is friendly and speedy. All in all, it's a great place to sit out for a cup of coffee.

Excellent place to enjoy a cup of coffee (alone or in company), read a book or simply listen to music and the girl at the desk is spectacular. Thanks Lola! I would go back just for her!😍☕️🍰

Google
If you want a locals’ cafe, this is the one. Super friendly staff, great strong coffee, all the classic and specialty espresso drinks and tea, with a relaxed vibe, full of locals talking to each other, local artists’ work on the walls, lots of space and seats in the back, with more tables under umbrellas outside. All the food I saw was grab-n-go — pumpkin bread (delicious), pastries, muffins, panini sandwiches, breakfast burritos, bagels, non-dairy yogurt, and an impressive variety of canned drinks, from beer to coconut water. Wine too. Highly recommend.

I come here from Broomfield while my son is in soccer camp at CU. I work on my computer the whole time. There are so many outlets. The Chai is awesome and don't miss out on the bagels

Yelp
Latte was good quality and the vibe of the store was cute and very spacious. Service was quick.

Yelp
Love my lavender latte! Coffee was perfect, not too watery , not too strong but you could still taste the lavender. Cute coffee shop, plenty of people inside and outdoors if you're into people watching. Free wifi, efficient employees and tons of art around the place.

Yelp
Super cute, chill, coffee shop on pearl street. Came to do some work on a Wednesday afternoon. Enjoyed my lavender oat milk latte. The front of the shop was pretty lively, had a group catching up. In the back there were a bunch of others working on their laptops and one person knitting. All very Boulder.

Yelp
Visiting from Nashville and stopped in for a drink and discovered the seasonal strawberry match iced latte. Delicious!!! Heard good things about this place and glad we stopped in! You should too! Nice staff. Cute place.

Yelp
Strawberry matcha latte with oat milk was excellent! Cute spot in a walkable area of Boulder. Easy to pop in to!

Yelp
Popular place on a Saturday! Mainly college students doing homework. Lots of energy and a fun vibe to it.

Yelp
Cute and comfy spot to drink coffee, hang out, or get some work done for a while. The server was friendly and they have a good selection of flavoring, I do wish they had soy milk though (options were almond, oat, and goat).. but I get it can be a lot to carry for a smaller place. Prices were "normal" ($7 for a medium iced latte with nondairy + flavor is normal now I guess). Good WiFi. I'd go back there to work again!

Yelp
Tried this coffee shop a couple days ago and I absolutely loved the vibe. The seating area is spacious, yet cozy at the same time--definitely a place I would consider visiting on a cold, dreary day. Cozy coffee shop vibe?: Check. But how is the coffee? I'm always a bit hesitant to order black coffee (my beverage of choice) when I'm out, due to the bitterness and acidity levels, but the coffee was surprisingly smooth here. Granted, I opted for the light roast, but it's all in the way it's brewed. Considering this is Pearl Street, where things can be a bit overpriced, the prices here were quite reasonable. Plus the service here is pretty great--super friendly. I'd definitely come back if I'm ever wandering around the area.

Yelp
It's my eternal favorite - why? Lovely little patio and sitting area where you can enjoy your book or people watch as folks walk by. Best latte in town, served hot and foamy as I like it. I go often and that won't ever change. Keep up the great work

Yelp
I came here to do some computer work while in Boulder. I got their Andes Mint Matcha and it was so delicious. The baristas were personable, helpful, and kind. The ambiance was great, they have lots of diverse seating options and it was cool to watch how the customers flowed during my time there. Everything from families chatting, homework co working, a date or two, people reading, and other solo computer people. I fully recommend coming here.

Yelp
A lovely coffee/café bar where the baristas were extremely pleasant. People are very friendly. If you're in Boulder, you should definitely stop and try out the Laughing Goat!

Yelp
When living in Boulder years ago, this was a favorite hangout spot for me. The Laughing Goat is located on Pearl Street, just south of Pearl Street Mall. What I like the most about this place, besides their great coffee, is the reasonable noise level and the ample amount of places to sit. For their coffee, they use Kaladi Brothers Coffee. It's a favorite coffee of mine in the Denver area. I do not remember the last time I visited here. Not much has changed. They've remained consistent. I liked their live acoustic bands or performers back in the day. I'm not sure if they offer this anymore. If they do, I recommend checking a live performance out. If I still lived in Boulder, I would come here often. This was great to visit today and reminisce about old times past. Today I ordered a 12 ounce drip coffee, "for here" (staying in the establishment while enjoying your beverage) and a slice of banana bread. I love how they serve the coffee in a ceramic cup rather than the typical cheap paper type. Coffee was consistently good. It could've been a little hotter. Banana Bread was a bit disappointing. It was too dry. I prefer sweet breads moist. I recommend that management keeps an eye on stale pastries; to check shelf life for removal. They do offer a lot of pastries and sweet breads which is great. I like how the establishment is clean. Tables didn't seem dirty or in need of wiping down. I very much enjoyed people watching; seeing various people working on laptops or engaged in conversation. This is a nice community oriented coffee shop. The art work on the walls were pleasant to look at. The young man who took my order was pleasant to interact with. Overall, I very much enjoyed my return here. Wish this place was closer to my current home. I will definitely return here for my next Boulder visit.

Yelp
My friend gave me a hard time for only tipping the barista 15%. The interaction was so brief. He didn't ask about my day or even make eye contact. I didn't care, I was actually relieved. I wasn't feeling social anyways. At the same time I didn't feel the need to tip him more than 15% for less than 10 seconds of his time. Later that day I went to the grocery store with the same friend. At this point I had my coffee and was feeling more social. When we were checking out, the grocery clerk was so friendly. She greeted us with a huge smile and started asking us about our day. She seemed to show genuine interest. When she finished scanning and bagging our groceries, she smiled and wished us a good day. I didn't leave her a tip and my friend thought that was okay. Anyway, the Laughing Goat made me re-think the way I tip. They also serve delicious drinks.

Yelp
Very friendly staff and excellent drinks!! I was indecisive about whether I wanted a sweet or unsweet chai once and the barista offered to make me a different one if I didn't like it. I always feel very taken care of by the staff even when there is a line out the door. The only thing that I don't love is the lack of natural light in the back of the cafe. Unless you get a table outside or right by the window, it is pretty dark and sleepy in the cafe.
google avatar

Lucy L.

Yelp
Nice and quiet place to relax and enjoy coffee & tea. They also offer wine. Not everything is posted on the menu at the front counter so be sure to look around at their beverage offerings and signs for any specials. They have baked food and snacks too that are all individually wrapped.
google avatar

Andrea N.

Yelp
Haven't tried their coffee or tea, but got their chai last week and it was watery/not great. Actually got slightly better when it went cold, but wouldn't repeat. The place a cute though, and the crowded tables and clientele made it seem like a go-to place for students (and even professors?) in the area

Yelp
Loved this place! Needed somewhere to work from while on a business trip to Boulder. Staff was friendly. Lots of pastry options including gluten free options. Coffee was good, not overly sweet which I love! Lots of varieties of milks and syrups to add in. The space itself is large with plugs for laptops, tables, booths, etc. and an outdoor space if it's a nice day!
google avatar

Bradley S.

Yelp
The Laughing Goat, in Boulder, is a delightful spot! The coffee is fantastic, the ambiance is charming, & the staff is welcoming. It's a must-coffee place!
google avatar

Brandy B.

Yelp
I walk in and I start talking to the barista (she's asking me about my nails). Her co worker walks over & says "your card was declined". ...we both looked at him and she said "it's not her" {b/c I hadn't placed my order yet}. I feel a way, b/c this person did not ask my name OR what my "order" was. Besides his co worker being engaging; he could absolutely use some further training/etiquette as to how to approach customers and not assume A THING about them.
google avatar

Taylor L.

Yelp
my favorite place to telework in colorado. spacious but cozy, tasty drinks, great pastries, and friendly staff (bonus bc there's great internet as well!) plenty of room to spread out as much as you need or meet with others. I love this place!
google avatar

Minna A.

Yelp
Came here to work during the day, and ordered the Venetian cream. It was pretty good, a little sweet, but my biggest qualm was that my cup was FULL of ice. There was barely any liquid in it because the ice was filled to the brim!! Pretty sure I got more ice than coffee; I could finish the coffee in like two sips. I stayed for 3-4 hours working, and by the time I left, the ice still hasn't completely melted and I still had half a cup of ice left. I went to order a second cup of Venetian cream with no ice, and it was still at a pretty cool temperature. If you order Venetian cream, I would HIGHLY recommend getting no ice or asking for less ice!!!

Yelp
Great service, atmosphere and drinks ! Tried their Sherpa chia and added espresso just the right thing on a windy day!

Yelp
Nice choice for coffee on pearl. I had cold brew and my husband had an iced mate latte. He liked that enough that he ordered two! A lot of seating with tables inside so good for studying or working. A sign was posted limiting you to two hours. This does leave it ridiculously quiet if you're meeting with a friend for coffee you might be the only two talking in the place if my experience is normal. There's some outdoor seating which looked a little more social. This is a portion of the street where you can find street parking right out front if you're lucky.
google avatar

Kaylee S.

Yelp
Small portions, high price. Quality coffee but definitely overrated. Enjoyed Ozo more!
google avatar

Carol Ann F.

Yelp
By far the best cup of coffee I've ever had. Now I'm addicted and drive down once a month from the high Rockies to get my fix!
google avatar

Yelp
Best coffee in Boulder, chill vibe, great hours! Good food options too. Great place to hang out inside or out!

Yelp
The coffee here is roasted here is really good and when I drank my mocha it was perfect. Great vibe and atmosphere and prices weren't bad either.

Yelp
I visited as a tourist driving by this nice street with alot of eatery took some bite for brunch and looked at the yelp and found this coffe place. My wife and I ordered two coffee while waiting took some video and pictures of the place. And this guy sitting at the bar on a laptop claiming as owner reached out to me and told me why the fk am I taking pictures and video like a perv.. and the workers just looked.. like they dont want to intervene.. yo if you dont want tourist to take pictures and video put a sign not to take it. Never went into a establishment got this type of slandering from so called owner. Such a embarrassing experience.... who the heck are these pictures on yelp coming from??? heard this town has some racial discrimination issues going on hopefully this isnt the issue the way I got treated. This is unclaimed established..... unfortunate the owner doesn't care about these reviews...

Yelp
Good coffee at Laughing Goat. Iced Americano was kindly remade at my request. Iced Latte tasted great. Iced Chai latte was great too. Easy going vibe on a Saturday afternoon with friendly crew.

Yelp
Kaladi Coffee...in Colorado?! We have Kaladi's all over Anchorage. This place has the same logo. Apparently, the Anchorage Kaladi is the "original", it was founded by two brothers. One sold it to the other, moved to CO, and started up a coffee-roasting operation with...the exact same name. I'm going to go ahead and betray my homeland and say: This is better than any of the Kaladi locations in Anchorage. Why? - they have beer and wine. - they have concerts. - they have great, rotating photography/art on the walls. - they have FAST internet. Probably about 50-100X faster than any location in Anchorage. - they have TONS of seating and TONS of power outlets. Anyway, great coffee/working spot in Boulder.

Yelp
Cool, hipster coffee shop (redundant, yes I know) right in the heart of Pearl St in downtown Boulder. It's exactly the kind of place you'd expect to grab a cup of coffee in Boulder and it's an equally good place to people watch (indoors & out) as well as get a good cuppa. Their matcha latte and drip coffee are some of the best I've had in a long time and, while a bit pricey, what isn't in town? Also, bonus - they serve booze, so it *really* becomes a good place for people watching at any time of day. Staff is friendly and genuine. Place is a little long in the tooth, but the keep it clean. Good selection of local-ish food & snacks. Plenty of outlets. Not a whole lot else to ask for from a coffee shop in a college town.

Yelp
(YC2017, 98/100) Heard a lot about this place so I had to make a stop and check it out. This is one of three of their locations, and also their flagship location - the only one that features live music and spoken word! Unfortunately, I only had time to come by quickly in the morning but I had a pretty good experience. Right when you walk in, you're going to notice it's not really like your typical coffee shops nowadays. It has more a bar vibe to it. Tables & chairs are scattered everywhere and there is bar seating as well. I'm guessing this is strategic for the live music sessions. There is some weird goat decor in there though; like a little coffee shrine thingy - I didn't get that. There's some seating outside as well. Anyways, I ordered a latte and while it wasn't the best latte I've ever had, it was decent. Good microfoam, but had just a tad of burnt flavor. But I can't say enough about the service. The dude was super friendly throughout my transaction, and after taking a bunch of other orders after me, actually remembered my name 45 minutes later as was leaving and told me to have a good day. Sure, I can pass this off as impeccable memory, but I'd chalk it up to good customer service - simple, but so very important to start off their customer's days!

Yelp
It was a fine coffee shop to work at for a couple hours. There was no visible wifi password available. I went on a Friday morning and it was surprisingly busy. My drink was good; however, I initially grabbed the wrong drink because there were multiple drinks at the counter with no clear indicator as to who's was who's.
google avatar

Jaclyn C.

Yelp
I like their espresso, I guess they use Boxcar's coffee beans . I enjoy the ambiance and vibe of this place. Very cozy in the evening time. Good place to get coffee and read a book.. large enough space so I don't get anxiety being there for a long time. Baristas are good.
google avatar

Alice K.

Yelp
Great coffee & appreciate all of the COVID precautions Laughing Goat has taken. (No seating inside and distancing guidelines.) Note: I was able to get coffee in my reusable travel mug; the baristas are not allowed to touch your mug but will pour the coffee into a steaming cup and transfer into your mug. Love!
google avatar

Carli G.

Yelp
I love this place. Like all places in Boulder, the vibes inside are so perfect. Coffee: Great quality coffee. I literally have never tasted a bean with that kind of taste but it was delicious. It is rich and the prices are outstanding! I mean, 2.45 for a cup of coffee and 4.25 for a latte??? Outstanding! Energy: Energy was great. It was a nice warm and quiet environment, classic college coffee shop. People working and people having quiet conversations. The staff are very friendly, and everyone in there is respectful to the people trying to work as well. I truly did feel like I belonged and that no one was too obnoxious to the point where I couldn't focus. My only complaint would be no outlets on the tables... but that's about it. Overall... definitely recommend!
google avatar

Anneleisse A.

Yelp
Ordered an Americano which wasn't life changing. However, thought it was great that they had their almond and oat milk out at their self help station for you to self pour and did not look like there was an extra fee for this. Service was great as the barista was incredibly kind. Place is the perfect study cafe or a place to have a pastry with a warm drink!
google avatar

Yelp
I love hip coffee ships with lots of outlets, plenty of seating area, and free wifi. This is the perfect spot for when ya got that final to cram for, and studying at home is a no go because you'd wind up taking afternoon naps in your bed. Or when you're on travel (me) and your coworkers are asking you (me) where is that powerpoint you (I) promised three days ago, so you gotta camp out somewhere but wind up writing yelp reviews as a form of procrastination. This place has a good selection of coffees and teas, and they have a sweet guide for the constituent ratio breakdown for their drinks. I love a good, illustrated guide. See attached. I was boring and just ordered the Jasmine Tea, but it comes in a cute little colored tea pot. It's fun. You can also add a CBD coconut cube to any drink for a $1.90 + tax. Extra fun. All in all, if I were a local I would come here all the time. They have a sign requesting you don't stay over two hours though, so leave your sleeping bag at home.

Yelp
Amazing coffee! Highly recommend if you are in the Boulder area. Coffee was nicely brewed and not burnt.

Daniel L.

Yelp
Awesome cafe in downtown Boulder with great staff, a big space inside and seating outside, and good coffee. Food is a little perfunctory but oh well, plenty of other options in the area. A really nice place
google avatar

Nicole H.

Yelp
I was in town and needed some caffeine. It's a pretty large shop and on a Thursday around 6:30pm was only 25% full - other reviews say it is always packed but clearly it depends when you go. The sales clerk was nice and I got a small coffee. I was bummed my only option at this time was medium because I wanted a light roast, but it was fine. The coffee had a good taste and I always prefer local coffee shops to the big chains. It was exciting to see they have gender neutral bathrooms and also were hosting an event for the queer community.
google avatar

Anna D.

Yelp
Good mocha but GREAT chocolate croissant!!! I almost didn't get it until the barista recommended it. Cute coffee shop in downtown Boulder. Would definitely come back next time I'm in town just for the chocolate croissant
google avatar

Athena H.

Yelp
Yummy coffee! Great atmosphere for working or catching up with a friend! Nice patio outside and they have live music events as well!
google avatar

Kristina B.

Yelp
Ridiculous that they don't open on weekends until 8 am, maybe we will try another day, for now we headed down the road . We watched 4 other people come by and also attempt to open the door, screams "you should probably open earlier".
google avatar

J B.

Yelp
This is a fine cafe, with a generous selection of single-origin coffees, skilled baristas, and plenty of seats. As we collectively get vaccinated, I look forward to spending time here getting work done and drinking great coffee. Highest recommendation.

Pablo V.

Yelp
Super Friendly PLUS.... These guys know how to pull a perfect shot of espresso. Having been in the coffee business as a trainer, I know these guys know what they're doing! Every time I go in I get a perfect shot of espresso. Most people don't understand how difficult this is to do. I am sure their training is very rigorous and the barista's really care about the drinks.

Yelp
Best place for cheap, good coffee on main campus! Service staff are friendly and great at their job. Come here for your morning cuppa and afternoon tea!

Yelp
We tried the Laughing Goat as we like to support local/family owned businesses but I wasn't impressed. We were drawn to the coffee shop as it had strong ratings. We got the oatmilk cappuccino with butter pecan flavoring and the non-fat iced chai tea latte. The flavoring was suggested by the young individual taking my order. The butter pecan flavoring was over powering and I did not like the taste it left on my tongue after drinking it. The iced chai tea tasted watered down. Epic fail! I can honestly say I've had better and well balanced chai lattes. Maybe it's the chia concentrate, brand or mixture they use. But any who it just wasn't for us.
