"The newest food option at the Hotel del Coronado is the Laundry Pub, which has opened inside the property’s historic Laundry Building, first built in 1919. The casual spot serves pub fare like Nashville hot chicken sandwiches, buttermilk fried chicken paired with pecan and bacon waffles, and crispy gochujang-pork belly bites as well as a tap list highlighting local breweries. The family-friendly space also includes interactive games, including billiards, foosball, shuffleboard, and retro arcade games." - Candice Woo

Our experience at the Laundry Pub was top notch. We visited this pub twice during our stay on Coronado. The service was excellent on both occasions. On our first visit, the wings and drinks were very good. My server even whipped up a special fresh blackberry and mint tea that wasn't on the menu for me so I could have a "fruity" tea. On our second visit, we tried the burgers. The burgers were delicious! I can't rave enough about them. By far they are the best burgers we have had on Coronado Island with all our stays. The fries were perfectly cooked, crispy, golden and complimented the burger. This establishment is family friendly and there is a lot of free entertainment in the form of skeet ball, basketball hoops, foosball, pool, darts and more.

Had the best time. Nicholas was a fantastic waiter and food was great! Smash burger was perfectly cooked. Pork belly nuggets were amazing! Desserts were huge! Would highly recommend.

After a long day of golf at Maderas and Coronado, my friends and I stumbled into the Laundry Pub with minimal expectations, hoping for some decent food to end our day. Wow, were we in for a treat! This place blew us away. The wings were hands down the best I've ever had. I've tried wings all over, but nothing compares to these--crispy, flavorful, and perfectly sauced. They were simply unforgettable. I can't believe I didn't get a picture, not even sure what flavor we got but omg. Our bartender/server was the sweetest, making sure we had everything we needed and adding a warm touch to the whole experience. The bar seating was a bit odd and took us a second to get used to, but with food and service this good, it didn't really matter. We left feeling satisfied and grateful we found this hidden gem.

Make sure you get there early. The place is great place to spend time with friends and family. It has enough games (darts, arcade, pool, foosball table) to keep young and older busy; specially the kids. So if you are looking for a place to have a good bite and a drink while the boys are busy, this is it. Food is above average, for me it means, I have to go back and try more options.

Three Sheets to the Wind red velvet sponge, baked new york cheesecake, cream cheese frosting, vanilla strawberry syrup. Best cheesecake ever. The space is cool too with free pinball machines, pool, foosball, shuffleboard, Skee-Ball, and outdoor board games.

Great family atmosphere & free games for the kids. Would prefer more mulenu options however they are very flavorful & delicious. Shishito Peppers Appetizer is a must try!

Google
Great option for pub food if you are staying at the Hotel Del Coronado. We ate dinner here twice. The service was so good and super friendly. Piol tables, ski ball, and pinball machines, but it still.feels classy. A more casual option but I would highly recommend it.

Had a great meal..8 of us shared nachos, fish and chips, pork belly, Mac and cheese and the thanksgiving plate. All were delicious. But the holiday plate...that dressing! So much like my mom's! Delicious! Chef and service were fantastic!

Yelp
First and last time we'll ever come here! I normally don't make reviews about the service but it SUCKS here! The only time you'll see someone at your table is if they were taking your order or bringing you your food. other than that, forget it! Every time we needed something, we had to wave someone down. They didn't even look happy. We asked one server for more lemons and she pointed at our plate saying that it's there. Obviously we saw it and wanted more smh. If we weren't a party of 6 and the gratuity wasn't automatically taken,, we would've left them NOTHING! Why should tipping be automatic or given for s****y service? As for the food, the chicken burger was decent but it didn't come with fries so it was a little pricey (it's Coronado). The fish and chips was not the business. The fish batter was thick and it was not crunchy at all. If you're an out of town, I suggest you eat somewhere else. Better food, service, and prices down the street.

Yelp
Decent, if pricey spot to grab a drink. Pretty quiet on a fall Sunday, but I'm sure it'll be crazy when the tourists roll in. We appreciated the free pinball machine. The "kitchen" is a food truck outside which seems like a weird choice but does explain the very limited menu and so-so wings we got. **If you order a shot of Tito's on the rocks, they'll charge you $24 without batting an eye. You've been warned.**

Yelp
My son and I had a wonderful dinner here. After a busy day on Coronado Island, we arrived at The Del and were so hungry. Looking for a local spot that served a late dinner, we decided on The Laundry Pub. The food and service were really good here! They took our orders right away. Drinks came out shortly after. My son and I were brought out our meals quickly. Everyone was friendly and helpful here! My son thought his burger was delicious. I thought my fish and chips were amazing as well. Alex, our server, was great. He handled the entire restaurant quickly and with such friendliness. The service was wonderful. This is a great spot for dinner when staying at The Del. This restaurant, which has its unique history as the resort's laundry, has great food and wonderful service. We'll definitely be back when staying in Coronado!

Yelp
I just had dinner here last weekend when going to Hotel Del Coronado to look at the Christmas lights. It was very busy but that was to be expected on a weekend night during the holidays. They have a lot of games to play while you wait for your food or afterwards. We didn't get to play any as there were many families with their kids. I would like to return when it's not as busy. The staff was friendly but wait for the food was long. We had appetizers (buffalo wings, fries. Shishito peppers, and pork nuggets). The food was delicious!

Yelp
Amazing. Exactly what it should be and more. It's a casual pub feel, with excellent drinks and food. Service is exceptional - they truly care about your experience. We ordered a couple drinks that were excellent. 1919 Reviver was amazing for a unique and refreshing (but boozy!) gin drink. Didn't like the bubble glitter drink, suds & bubbles, and had to send it back. It was too syrupy and tasted like grape juice, too sweet. We also loved the rinse & repeat, more of an herbal licorice drink. We could not tolerate dirty laundry at all, and had to send it back. The red velvet cheesecake was yummy but massive. Only order if you have a group of 4-6 people. We took a few bites and couldn't eat more. Overall, excellent experience. The bartenders were amazing and nice about us sending back two of the drinks, and made us new ones we loved. This place is sure to fill up fast.

Yelp
Great food and cool relaxed atmosphere! The outside area was wonderful especially with children.

Yelp
Last night was great for a family dinner. Food was good and service was good. Today I went with two other people and had some beers and they threw a gratuity on without telling me 18% gratuity and the bartender didn't say anything. I was about to leave the guy $11 tip for three beers but luckily I looked at the bill. That is really weak and surprising. I would never go back to this place because of that. So shady!

Yelp
Limited menu, not on the healthy side but go when you want excellent bar food. Excellent staff!

Yelp
Family friendly, limited menu, laid back atmosphere. Tonight's our last night at the Del, so we wanted an early dinner so we could pack up and get ready for our 6am flight tomorrow. We didn't realize they didn't open until 4pm, but that's OK since we showed up a few minutes before 4. It's cool to see the old tracks the laundry would "travel" on up on the ceiling. Other than that, there's not a whole lot of indication of the history of the place. There are a couple of pool tables, video games, pinball machines, foosball, skee-ball, and basketball free throw games scattered about for guests to use. The drink menu looks fun for those who choose to imbibe. I wish they had some mocktails. There are a few things on the menu, almost all sandwich type or finger food type fare. Fries are an additional charge. The entrees we ordered (smash burger, shrimp hoagie, kids macaroni and cheese with chicken tenders, and cheese and bacon fries) are basic, but filled our tummies.

Yelp
We walked in after a day on the beach. The vibe was inviting and the staff friendly. The host showed us to our table and another staffer brought water. I ordered a smoky handcrafted old fashioned. All our drinks arrived hastily. My old fashioned was epic. I ordered a shrimp salad with greens -- it was so delicious! We had the short ribs with bao buns and crying tiger sauce, yummy. Two ordered Cuban sandwiches which they ate every delectable bite. One ordered the pork belly appetizer for her meal ... omg! We will go again because the food, waitstaff, background music, and atmosphere were outstanding.

Yelp
This was a cute promising place right at the Coronado resort. The space is huge, and there are lots of free games to play that would make it a perfect place to for families, except that it was the worst service I've ever encountered at a restaurant. I'm not sure if they are just grossly understaffed both on the floor and in the kitchen but the whole experience was frustrating from trying to get seated through paying the bill. First off we had a party of 8. We understood we were a larger party so we were open to splitting up, but the servers were no help and we had to wander around trying to find two tables. One of the tables was short a chair. When the table next to use finished their meal I asked the waiter if I could grab a chair so that our table for four actually had four seats and he was like, no they needed it for a party that wasn't even seated yet,and when they did sit down they only had three people. The waiter had no interest in trying to help us at all. Then they told us it was a long wait for food so we put in an order for food right away. When we had to add more food we could never find our server at either table. They just kept wandering around and most of the tables around us looks equally frustrated and confused that something so simple as attending to your assigned tables could be such a hard task. Fast forward over one hour later. We finally got our appetizers. The fries were cold. The nachos were tasty or we were just starving. Another 20 minutes later and we got our food. Well some of it. When everything finally arrived, they were missing one item. The first server said they would check on it and we never saw that server again for the rest of the evening. We asked another server who took our order and they also said they would check on it but never came back to the table. The third server we asked went out to the patio which I'm pretty sure is not where the kitchen is. Needless to say we never got the item that we ordered for our kids. They had to just eat fries for dinner. When it was time to pay the bill. They had to split the bill so each waiter got credit for their terrible service. We got one bill and paid that. We had to chase our other server down to try and get a bill since they never stopped by our second table again. Once we got the bill they tried to double charge us for everything and we had to get them to redo the whole bill. The food wasn't bad. it wasn't just a slow kitchen but the complete lack of any type of system or accountability by any server no matter who we were dealing with that made it truly the most awful service experience. Would recommend to get a drink at the bar and play free games, but don't try and sit down and have a meal it wasn't just slow it was a disaster.

Yelp
Today we experienced a very tasty and beautifully served brunch with our family. Every choice was delicious and service was consistently wonderful. Thank you!!

Yelp
Great service, awesome spot to hang out and play pool, skee ball, foosball, darts, and more! I had the Nashville chicken sandwich which I could only eat a third of and hubby had the shrimp hoagie. We also shared the fries and the dessert. Food was great! Ambiance was great and place is huge. We live on the island and had been wanting to try it out and it did not disappoint. So much so that we will be changing our event reservations for this spot! I hope it stays in business as I would like it to be a regular spot to hang out at.

Sabine F.

Yelp
The ambiance was amazing. We set at the bar and had a few drinks and a bite to eat. It is a great place to hang out and play pinball. The interior is very beautiful.

Yelp
This was a great restaurant to have while we were in the area. I had a delicious chicken sandwich and salad that I shared with my family. Other food my family got was the chef special fish and chips and the chicken and waffles. We all loved the food and thought it was made well and tasted good. I highly recommend the gem lettuce salad and the chicken sandwich it was very crispy and the salad had a lot of dressing on it. The service was great and the ambience was spacious with some bar games like pool. I think this makes it a great hang out spot

Jerie L.

Yelp
Loved the decor and comfy seating. Felt like a billiards room at a fancy hotel! So perfect that it is at the Del. We went early and got a free to use pool table. They need to put chalk and some other items near the table to make it better. Had good drinks and the fried Mac and Cheese. Overall we really liked the bar. They need more staff to be truly attentive .

James S.

Yelp
Fun venue with free classic games, billiards room, and bar. Food is delicious with good variety. Love the Smash Burger. Fantastic friendly service.

Daniel M.

Yelp
The place is great for Families! Enjoyed the games while waiting for our delicious food. 10/10 would recommend.

Sandra R.

Yelp
Let me start by saying the location is fun and fantastic. They have a bar top that historical and vintage photos which I really liked. The service members were very nice and friendly...but, the food. It is a pub, but pub food doesn't have to taste like old grease. We went with what was recommended. We had Chicken & Waffles, Cuban, Smash Burger, Mac & Cheese. Tasteless. Grease, and not upscales (for very upscale pricing). I think it is fine to throw darts and watch a game with a beer, but if your a pub connected to the Hotel Del Coronado your food should be good - in my opinion. Our bill for 3 people was nearly $200. Not a $200 experience for sure. Buyer beware.

Dylan M.

Yelp
Such amazing service and ambiance! Amazing free games and the best spaghett drink in town! Great food and great times!

Raegan N.

Yelp
We came here for the dinner this time when we were staying at Del Coronado hotel and I am so amazed with this place. The service is impeccable. The ambience is outstanding with all the games and the beautiful decor and its history makes it a wonderful place to visit and to eat at. Cody was our server for this meal and he was just fabulous! We started with the Shishito peppers with Korean ginger glaze, toasted peanuts, and sesame seeds. DELICIOUS!! And what a huge serving! Then we moved on to the beer brined pub wings and oh my God! We had the buffalo sauce and it was perfection. Pound of them too. I mean come on! Then I had the crispy chicken Nashville hot cycle sandwich on brioche bun with the housemate pickles and I was in heaven and not only was it crispy to perfection but a very large portion and it fed me for two more days! He had his usual boring burger with just the meat and some cheese on a bun so I didn't think I take a picture of that ha ha. When we come back to this location, we will most definitely come here for another meal. A+ all-around! Bravo!

Amber T.

Yelp
We only got the nachos appetizer so we cannot attest to the main menu offerings, but the nachos were mediocre. I'm a big fan of trying nachos and finding the off the charts ones, but these were just average. They were also very salty and I love salt, but there were some chips that were hard to eat. Ambiance was amazing. Ski ball was fun! Service was fast and great!

Doyer Y.

Yelp
Cool new Coronado spot at the Del. Wings and fries great. Cocktails on fleek. Even have to figusheeshee bubbles on the drinks. Pool tables, pinball for extra entertainment.

Caden W.

Yelp
Victor was very helpful, great place cool history the fish n chips were really good and try the three sheets in the wind for dessert

L L.

Yelp
I wish I could write a review about the food or drink, but after entering and being promptly seated, we waited for 20 minutes but did not receive any service, besides water. We are local Coronado residents and like to support our local businesses. We sat quietly and patiently, and no one came by to say, for example, we are busy, or short staffed, we will be with you in a minute. We were also seated in the middle of the restaurant, hard to miss.

Cali S.

Yelp
What a cool concept! There is nothing like it on the island!! In a historical laundry building dating back to WWI, you find yourself playing all the games and watching all the games- huge screen TVs everywhere, a private billiards room, pinball games, shuffle board, Skiball and more games! Not to mention they are all free and it's just such an experience. The chef- wow! He is amazing! Simple, Perfect, Delicious! He really put some good work into this menu!! The food is so to die for!! I enjoyed the smash burger and Mac and Cheese Bites! The dessert was over the top and there was candy inside!! The bar.. on another level! Each drink is named either a laundry theme or has some kind of historical meaning. The mixologist who I understand is the manager, I believe her name is Leah, she really created something special. I can't even explain the drinks. It's probably the most best cocktail bar in San Diego!! Wow! It's priced really low for the Del. It's also family friendly. It's classy. It's pure enjoyment and it's delicious! You won't regret it!
