Our toddler has attended TLE for months now and *loves* it. She talks about her teachers and classmates by name, tells us about everything they've done that day, and is excited when it's "a school day." Developmentally, this was the right choice for our child. She is outgoing, curious, social, and smart, and her days here have only enhanced those qualities as she's gotten more expressive, verbal, and even proactively good at sharing at home. We appreciate the intentional curriculum, ranging from the fundamentals like colors, numbers, letters, and shapes; to life stuff like days of the week and family members; to conceptual ideas, like community and tradition. We also like how much time they spend making art, playing physically (they have an indoor playspace), and even collecting things outside (like leaves) to talk about and use in their art. They have an app for parents, and the updates are almost real-time throughout the day and extremely helpful, as what we see of our daughter's behavior -- long, full naps and eating all her meals -- underscores that she feels comfortable there. We've found the owner, Cindy, to be an especially supportive, responsive, relatable, and personally engaging leader, and the team of counterparts she's built today are just as warm, personable, and caring. They've fallen into a great rhythm as a team and the overall vibe at dropoff and pickup is positive, smooth, and pleasant. They've even synced approaches with us on potty training to support that effort. We have looked at a lotttttt of daycare centers and ultimately just feel grateful for this one!
