Dinner at Sketch – The Lecture Room & Library was nothing short of exceptional. My husband and I chose this iconic space for a date night and to celebrate my birthday, and it turned out to be a truly memorable gastronomic experience. From the moment we arrived, the festive décor outside set a celebratory tone, beautifully complemented by the intricately designed interiors — every detail thoughtful, artistic, and immersive. The atmosphere strikes a rare balance: refined yet warm, luxurious yet inviting. Each course was prepared with remarkable care, intention, and depth of flavour — imaginative, nuanced, and perfectly balanced. Even the desserts alone (pictured here) were exquisite works of art. The service deserves special mention: warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful, making the entire evening feel effortless and personal. This is a place I would wholeheartedly recommend — perfect for an intimate celebration, a special date night, or a refined experience to be shared with family. It’s one of those rare restaurants that leaves you already looking forward to your next visit.

The service and ambiance make this restaurant unique. It is decorated in an elegant, yet eccentric manner. The entire staff aims to please from beginning to end, without any feeling of being rushed. My spouse and I did the A La Carte lunch menu and shared a mix between sea and land. Everything was delicious and the Milledgeville Brut dessert was unforgettable. We will definitely visit again when in London.

If you’re looking for a unique blend of art, culinary delights, and an atmosphere that feels like stepping into a dream, look no further than Sketch London. From the moment I entered, I was whisked upstairs into a world of creativity and luxury. Let’s talk about the Lecture Room and Library—a truly breathtaking space! The decor is a feast for the eyes, with a delicate balance of elegance and quirkiness that embodies the spirit of Sketch. The soft lighting, plush seating, and artistic flair make it the perfect setting for an evening of indulgence. Now, the real star of the show? The French fusion food! Each dish was a sensation, marrying traditional French flavors with innovative twists that made every bite unforgettable. I savored a beautifully crafted Duck Confit that was perfectly tender and bursting with flavor. Every course was a masterpiece, thoughtfully presented, and bursting with creativity. And let’s not forget the wine pairings! Alex, the sommelier, truly elevated the experience. With his extensive knowledge and passion for wine, he curated an exceptional selection that complemented each dish flawlessly. Every sip brought out new nuances in the food, and Alex was there to guide us through the journey with enthusiasm and warmth. He not only had a deep knowledge on wine but also cared about me keeping a conversation for a long time. His expertise made the evening feel even more special! To wrap up this incredible night, I found myself at the cocktail lounge, and oh, what a treat! I indulged in an amazing clear espresso martini, a delightful twist on a classic. The clarity and smoothness of the drink were nothing short of heavenly. It was the perfect end to a fantastically whimsical evening. In summary, Sketch London is more than just a dining destination; it’s an experience that engages all the senses. From the gorgeous Lecture Room and Library to the delightful French fusion cuisine, exceptional wine pairings courtesy of Alex, and the unforgettable espresso martini, every moment was pure magic. I can’t recommend it highly enough! Treat yourself and immerse yourself in this spectacular journey—you won't regret it!

What a culinary experience! One of the best meals I've ever had. The highlight being the incredible chocolate souffle. Perfect service and extremely friendly staff, hugely recommend!

Our visit to this restaurant was an absolutely wonderful experience. The food was exquisite, the interior was cozy and beautifully designed, and the service was truly top-notch. It’s honestly one of the best places I’ve ever been — every single dish matched my taste 100%. I especially loved the concept behind their menu. You can choose from different sets, and each one includes a selection of small dishes that are thoughtfully paired and complement each other perfectly. There is a wide variety of these sets, so everyone can find something they prefer and easily avoid anything they don’t enjoy. Highly recommended — a memorable and exceptional dining experience.

On entering Sketch it was evident that this was a special venue. Beautiful Christmas trees and decorations were in abundance in the foyer and continued around the place. Staff catered for our every need and Daniel Stucki even came to our table to welcome us. We opted for the tasting menu and every course was sublime. Our tastebuds were treated to exceptional cuisine. Sketch is not only a restaurant, it is a fabulous experience and we shall certainly return.

Google
Went there for New Year’s Eve 2025. Unreasonably expensive in relation to what you received. The rooms were not decorated, and guests were accepted who were not dressed appropriately. There was no interaction with the guests. The food was tolerable—perhaps worthy of one Michelin star—but certainly not three. We paid less than half two days later at the Ritz, which on an ordinary Friday delivered far more than Sketch did on New Year’s Eve. I wouldn’t call it a tourist trap, but my wife and I have dined at over 40 Michelin-starred restaurants, and this was not up to par—not even close.

Google
Entering the Lecture Room and Library is an exciting experience from the very first moment. Before coming here, you imagine it's a place with rigid service procedures. Far from it. The staff always work with a smile, interact with guests, and try to anticipate their desires. We felt like we were at a concert where all the elements contribute to creating a fantastic harmony. Thank you all for this wonderful experience. Francesca and Massimo

Yelp
Date night for the dinner and the live music. We both had the pre-fix menu with some slightly different choices. Every course fantastic - from the presentation to the palette. Service was friendly, helpful, and super efficient. The jazz band they had really added to the atmosphere. We loved the experience all around.

Yelp
Upscale dining in a very trendy, eclectic, and modern setting. The staff and food are worthy of the price of admission. Heck, going to the bathroom here is worth the price of admission! One must definitely have this on their "must do" list when visiting London. Their menu varies quite a bit so plan accordingly.

Yelp
What a cool experience! We dined at Sketch in The Gallery room on a Saturday night in May. You're greeted by a doorman, then a receptionist in the lobby-type area, then a receptionist in the restaurant, and then we had a food waitress to take orders, drink waitress to take orders, two busboys to deliver the food, and finally a manager process our bill. They're all dressed impeccably and quite friendly. I had the Sea Bass with Baby Artichokes and Prosecco Veil. It was light yet filling but could've used a bit more flavor. My friend ordered the Black Garlic Arancini and loved it. I ordered a martini and it was a bit small! See picture of it compared to my friend's red wine. I guess I expected a martini glass! We made our 6:30pm Saturday night reservation about a month in advance on Open Table so plan accordingly! I took off 1 star because the food is a bit overpriced.

Yelp
This review is for high tea in the gallery. OUTSTANDING. From the service, ambiance, food and drink, everything was wonderful. Come here if you want an afternoon tea experience you will never forget!

Yelp
Had the most amazing night here two weeks ago. Just go! The space itself is beautiful! We sat on the gallery room. Everything was exceptional. Food was delish! Service was top notch. Bathroom is fun ! Great way to start my trip in London.

Yelp
Lived out my modern Bridgerton dream with some afternoon tea. Unfortunately, there was no Simon to make it burrrrn for me This place was so cool. Got to listen to live violinists, while sipping my tea and eating yummy sandwiches, scones and desserts. Even the restroom was cool. ⁣ ⁣ If you're ever in London, and want a modern version of afternoon tea, I would recommend this spot. So yummy and fulfilling. Just make sure to reserve in advance. It gets quite busy. ⁣

Yelp
Second time to this trendy and beautiful restaurant in London. Food never disappoints. Everything was delicious and on point. My daughter had the burger and I had the steak. The pièce de résistance has to be the cocktails! I ordered a chocolate martini and it was absolutely perfect. I will be coming back the next time I'm in London and recommend everyone checking Sketch out. Pro tip- don't forget to check out the bathroom!! Definitely worth the trip.

Yelp
During my one-day layover in London, I knew I had to get a reservation at Sketch--and it did not disappoint! I only wish I had known beforehand that the high tea was unlimited, so I could have paced myself and eaten more. The finger sandwiches and cakes were absolutely delicious, and I loved all the different tea options. Our server was fantastic--super helpful in explaining the menu and giving great recommendations. And, of course, the ambiance was amazing. The seating was comfortable, the aesthetic was adorable, and you have to check out the iconic egg bathrooms. I've never left a high tea feeling this full before! It might be a bit pricey, but considering it's unlimited, I'd say it's well worth it.

Yelp
The vegan menu here is top tier- nothing seemed to be downgraded from the omnivore options. All of the food was refillable but they served so many options that it wasn't needed for you to enjoy a full meals worth. I had two types of tea and the cost was well justified. Servers were attentive and very knowledgeable regarding all of the tea and food options. Live orchestral music was being played by girls in matching dresses and the bathroom had can't miss decor. I really hope coming back for afternoon tea is in the cards for me. 5/5

Yelp
A long-awaited review for the coveted restaurant Sketch by a Michelin-starred chef! I tried this restaurant back in July in London, and was absolutely blown away. My friend & I made a reservation for two on a Sunday night in the Gallery Room. The entrance is un-assuming from the outside, just a plain white building with a small sign. But the moment you open the doors, you're greeted with extravagance and luxury ambiance. It is eclectic and fun, everything you would be looking for in a special dining experience. We were greeted by the hostess, who offered to check our coats in. Then they led us down a corridor, into the beautiful Gallery Room. Hospitality was amazing, we were always checked up on, and our food service was decently quick. To start, I ordered their signature drink, the Sketch Spritz. It was delightfully fruity, and I enjoyed it thoroughly. My friend & I split the Scallop Carpaccio for a starter, and these were the best scallops I've ever had. Whenever someone asks me what the best thing I've ever ate was, I immediately default to these scallops. They melt in your mouth, and are so fresh! The radishes guacamole provided differing textures, creamy but decadent at the same time. For our entrees, I opted to try the Sketch Beef Tartare, which came with its own little bloody mary! Topped with smoked eel and caesar sauce, it went so well with the refreshing icy bloody mary. My friend ordered the Triple-Baked Haddock and Scallop Souffle, and this was SO GOOD! Perfectly fluffy and buttery, and whatever sauce they use at the bottom was addicting. Chives add a burst of freshness, overall a solid choice. Obviously we couldn't skip dessert, and we each got one. I don't remember the name of mine, as they rotate their menu pretty often. But no doubt it was delicious. My friend went for their Sketch Chocolate 052, and both came presented beautifully. Now the coolest part of this experience was that they let you explore the other rooms after your meal. I had heard strange things about their toilets, so I ventured to the back of the room through double doors to check it out. Weird to say, but this is the COOLEST toilet ever! The toilets are little individual pods, It looks so futuristic, a great photo op. I definitely recommend this restaurant for a special, once-in-a-lifetime occasion! The price certainly reflects the quality, service, & experience, but well worth it.

Yelp
Another amazing meal in the Lecture Room & Library. The space is fantastic. The food was outstanding. Service was impeccable. They cheerfully substituted the two items on the tasting menu that I don't care for. Worth the price if you can afford it. I highly recommend!

Yelp
Food was delicious but the service was really bad. Beyond bad. Had to wait 30 minutes for the check, 30 minutes to take our order for drinks. Had the 9th Street and Avocado toast. If you're in a rush, avoid the place. If you can commit 2-2.5 hours then good luck.
google avatar

Yelp
Super fun Eclectic artsy cafe bar that's been on my must visit list whenever I'm in London. Don't miss the iconic Mr. Doodle bathroom pods upstairs. Amazing for lunch, tea, drinks or dinner. Absolutely adore this place!

Yelp
Came here for breakfast while visiting London and very much enjoyed the food and ambiance. Our waitress was friendly and helpful and overall we had a good experience. My only complaint was how small the table was, making it different to navigate our food and drinks. The waffle, eggs, green justice and croissant were all delicious.
google avatar

Marshall P.

Yelp
I would consider this overpriced and under-delivered. If you're into taking photos of your food and posting for others to see, maybe it's worth the expense. I was looking forward to the funky art and atmosphere - sort of a cool spin on a traditional experience. The entry way and bathrooms are unique and artsy, but the dining room is a bit plain relative to the rest of the space. The hosts were very attentive, proper, and set high expectations for the rest of the tea. But, then the service started to unwind a bit. Teas were mixed up and servers really bumbled a bit - forgetting who ordered what type and various items. The cocktails were a bit sweet and underwhelming, and the sandwiches and sweets were bland and a bit stale. Once on the table, the presentation is attractive, but in terms of service, flavors, and overall experience, it was a bit of a letdown.

Yelp
Such a fun place to do tea! Yes pricey, but it's an experience and it is worth it!! Everyone was so kind and the caviar boy was so fun! The bathroom is a must see-- make sure you bring your phone for the photo shoot. Everything is decorated and beautiful.
google avatar

Yelp
If aesthetics was everything, Sketch would win this prize. Unfortunately, a lot of the dishes at sketch miss the mark. The raw scallops weren't really that fresh, and it had a weird cream sauce that overpowered the scallops. The fish was decent, but it was doused in melted butter so hard to miss. All in all, a place for instagram photos, but that's really what they excel out with their exotic bathroom and dining room designs.
google avatar

Kelsey A.

Yelp
High tea here is an absolute dream. The decor, the ambiance, the food, and the drinks are perfect. Sketch has become a must-do in London for a special occasion, even if the occasion is just visiting!

Yelp
What a great place and experience! We wanted to try brunch, but the times just wouldn't work for us, so we opted for dinner. And I'm glad we did. The food was amazing, and the servers were very attentive. I ordered a drink that was not very pleasing and after expressing my concerns, it was quickly rectified. The standout dish for me was the Chantilly Lace (Lobster bisque). Literally the best I've ever taste and I am typically not a big fan. Everything was great. The design was quirky, over the top, different in every room. The bathrooms were out of this world...literally. Little capsule. It is a bit pricey, but the overall experience and service was worth the visit. If you're in London, it's a must try.

Yelp
The food is amazing! The service is great and we chose the Glade room, so it was seemingly calming and not noisy. Great space for a nice meal.
google avatar

Tiffany L.

Yelp
This is a great spot for decor and aesthetics, but the food can be hit or miss. I've been to Sketch for afternoon tea and had a great experience (I was totally stuffed at the end due to all the food). Most recently, I went for breakfast in the Glade, and it was so so. Nothing really stood out to be honest between the hash browns, English breakfast, green juice and acai bowl (which tasted like a regular yogurt bowl with toppings). The staff working there was quite friendly (we were the first ones there since we had a 9am reservation). If you're going for vibes and visuals, I would just do the main room for afternoon tea and skip the Glade. Also, you won't be able to use the famous egg bathroom if you dine in the Glade (you'd use another bathroom). All in all, 5 stars for ambience and decor associated with afternoon tea, but minus one star for breakfast in the Glade.
google avatar

Jacqueline A.

Yelp
This is the most exquisite experience in the service is so warm and welcoming . We had a waitress her name was Amy and all the waitresses were the same outfits in uniform and they look so cute. She was our waitress. Amy was very kind and welcoming, and we were telling her we were visiting London for the first time she had any recommendations and she encouraged us to go maybe check out some of the seaside areas. also, on top of that they have live music where they're playing pop hits, and also some Disney tunes which I was very fond of. The food itself is a variety of foods with sandwiches and then scones and then also some desserts at the end and you're allowed to request as much as you want so I ended up having a few of the ham and cheese sandwiches and we ordered about three different teas throughout our two hour stay there. My cousin and I were on a spring break vacation in the middle of April. It was our first trip to London so of course we wanted to book something where we did an afternoon tea.
google avatar

BananyaRamya R.

Yelp
I love love love love the decor. The table of 12 self absorbed Americans were annoying AF of course but the service was what I found The Most Intriguing. Baddie in the beige suit was brilliant. The little lady in the pod rest room was curious and a bit sad. Hated the food but I didn't go for it so no harm no foul.
google avatar

Cindy C.

Yelp
The fancy Sketch restaurant was even more beautiful in person. The bathrooms are their most popular spot, so definitely don't miss that. It looks even better than some art museums. We had to come here after seeing so many instagram posts over the years! This was the first afternoon tea that I've ever heard of being all you can eat, and you can get boxes at the end to bring stuff home. So that got me really excited... however, your second order will take FOREVER to come out. Sometimes they won't even remember that you wanted more of a certain item. And even after constantly reminding them, they still don't bring it out. So was it worth £80? Probably not. Also don't get bamboozled by the £1 at the end, they automatically add it to your bill but you can ask the server to remove it.
google avatar

Lauren S.

Yelp
We made reservations for afternoon tea and we're greeted very warmly by the hosts. The menu provides many tea options as well as the curated menu of tea sandwiches and desserts. We started with champagne and also had a cocktail during our afternoon. All of the food was good and we weren't even aware that you can actually ask for extras of any sandwiches that you'd like. We were absolutely stuffed so we didn't get anything more, but it's nice to know it is an option. Overall this was a great experience. There was a bit of confusion with our server so at times our tea orders weren't coming out timely. But overall, it was a great meal and I would recommend it to anyone in the area.
google avatar

Jessica N.

Yelp
Wow sketch is worth the hype! The holiday afternoon tea experience was very worth it. Everything was stunning. The presentation and service was great. They don't rush you at all. We tried at least 5-6 different teas. All the food was also very high quality and tasty. These are not plain old cucumber sandwiches. We had lobster rolls, smoked salmon sandwich, egg salad sandwich. Even cavier and crab salad. So for $150 per person they definitely make the experience very high end. We also had complimentary sparkling wine. They also had live violinists and a ballerina dancing to each room. Don't forget to take a selfie in their famous bathroom. Overall I would recommend this experience.

Yelp
When you enter through the dim hallway going deep inside this building, you feel like Alice passing through the looking glass and following the rabbit down the hole. The two separate dining rooms have different motifs, one with an under the sea Little Mermaid vibe and the other, a brightly painted whimsical Wonderland. You would think this place popped out of Lewis Carroll's head. The atmosphere is surreal and you feel like you're joining the Mad Hatter, the March Hare and the Dormouse for high tea. And there is a three piece string ensemble in the corner playing popular tunes on violin, viola & cello. The ladies did very good instrumental renditions of Coldplay's Viva La Vida and Justin Bieber's Sorry. We are here for high tea with friends and the tea selection is excellent. Since we could order as much and as many different teas as we wanted, I started with the black teas, first a pot of Earl Grey and then Darjeeling. All tea pots are individual and serves about 2 cups. Then I moved onto the Phoenix Honey Orchid, which was very mild and my favorite. Of course, I had to have it with honey, which came in a little carafe. My last pot was the Organic Dragon Well green tea. The tea sandwich and cake tiered tray is the main event. Each of the sandwiches, the Coronation Chicken, Cucumber, Salmon & Ricotta and Croque Monsieur are cut into finger length rectangles. The chicken and ham & cheese of the Croque Monsieur were excellent, but I was surprised I really liked the cucumber as well. Request as many more sandwiches as you like and they will bring more. But don't forget the sweet side of the tiers with multiple cakes. Then things got a little strange. Having consumed so much tea, I was first to seek the rest rooms, which were in an adjacent room. I thought I was transported to Woody Allen's movie Sleeper. Up the stairs into the stark white high ceiling room was a bunch of 6' tall white egg pods which reminded me of Robin Williams, Mork's spaceship from Ork. I had to ask the attendant in a maid's uniform to find me an available "egg". Someone please pinch me. At the bottom of the room was a round lounge area with 70's motif that the musician's took their breaks between sets. The service was impeccable with exceptional attention to detail, as expected from a high end restaurant. Overall, this was an amazing experience that I would recommend to anybody visiting London. Don't forget to point your pinkie finger as you raise your teacup to your lips.

Yelp
Save yourself $368USD for two afternoons tea experiences. Beautiful place but I would just go get a cocktail. The value of what we got compared to what we paid was not even close to comparable. We got 2 pots of tea, small sandwiches and desserts that were honestly just decent. The flavors were mostly all lemon, were overly sweet and just lacked variety.
google avatar

Katelyn K.

Yelp
Overall our dining experience was amazing, the staff was attentive, kind, and gave us great recommendations. A mistake on our part was over ordering appetizers - we should have stuck to just one (the artichoke) as our meals and the sides we ordered were extremely filling. Don't pass up the truffle gnocchi, it was delicious!

Yelp
Had to squeeze in at least one Michelin star experience while in London, so went to Sketch. The restaurant is stunning, artsy, and creative. Service was absolutely impeccable. As for the food, the courses just kept coming. There were three of us at dinner, which gave us an opportunity to try as much on the menu as we wanted. We opted for the A La Carte menu and tested all three options available - Spring, Insolite, and Scottich Langoustine - for the starters. For our mains, we ordered the Wild Turbot, the Welsh Lamb, and the Huntsham Court Farm Middle-White Pork. It's a 3 Michelin star restaurant, and while it was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, I wouldn't rate it 3 stars because I thought the food was simply ok. I've had more impressive Michelin experiences in London at Da Terra and Frog by Adam Handling. With all that said, if you're looking for a restaurant with quirky personality, wonderful service, and a background for great Instagram posts, this is the spot for you

Yelp
Absolute incredible! I came here for breakfast! Reservations required *! I sat in the glade room which is inspired from a 1900s greeting card. Absolute I'll beautiful! Breakfast was reasonably priced! Don't miss the bathroom absolutely one of the most beautiful bathrooms I've ever been in! A super aesthetic restaurant! Must see!

Yelp
I've been wanting to come here since 2017, the first time it was under construction when I came. Every time I came to London I wasn't able to, because when I come to London it's last second. I actually got to plan in advance to come to London this time around and made this my first stop after trying for years. The place is very cute! Very instagram worthy!! I loved everything about it. My husband and I went to the gallery for dinner (I'll have to try tea time next) The gallery room is so pretty, very elegant. I absolutely adored it. The staff was all so very friendly and helpful. All of them were dressed so cute. I loved their dresses and uniforms they wore. We had two people that served us. One was a woman who took our drinks and made sure our drinks were full and stayed full. She was absolutely amazing. Then our waiter who took our food order and took care of us. He was awesome as well. Kept our table clean and made sure we didn't need anything. The experience was all around amazing!!! The food... I love, loved the stuffed tomato and the rice it came with. If you love tomatoes, like I do, this is the appetizer for you, It's very good! My husband doesn't like tomatoes and he loved the rice with the what it was stuffed with. The onion rings, I didn't care for. It wasn't what I was use to, but I'm American and probably used to all the bad chemicals in our food. So don't take my word for it. My husband liked it, but said it wasn't the best thing in the world, nor the worst. The steak was so good and the potatoes it came with was one of the best I've had. It was juicy and tender and had flavor. The chicken was a little blend, I didn't care too much for the sauce but loved the veggies it came with. I'm from the south in America and we love our seasoning. So I may have different taste buds. Give it a try still, you may love it. The butter they had with the bread was sooooo good! I wanted to take some butter back home, it's one of the best I've had. Like Germanys butter. The drinks were so good! I got the light of love (something like that) it has lime juice in it and it was so good, the foam tasted wonderful as well. They do have coke and Coke Zero for the people who don't drink any alcohol. The bathrooms were so cool and pretty neat. I've never seen anything like it and it was nice little privacy in your own little egg bathroom. To my understanding, the gallery is the only room with this bathroom that everyone comes to see. So if you want to come to this bathroom, book the gallery room. The Glad rooms or the east bar won't have the bathrooms that everyone is wanting to see. Over all! Me wanting and trying to come here since 2017 had the best experience. I absolutely loved everything about it. It was one of the best experiences I've had, for someone who travels the world for a living. It was everything I hoped for. It was also so neat to see everyone come in dressed up and so cute!! I kept saying "omg I want her dress or top" great experience! I still need to try the afternoon tea and will update when I do. I'd definitely go if you are thinking about it.

Yelp
So first things first, I personally did not like the food. I had a portobello lettuce wrap burger wasn't good at all. But my friends like their food... the drink we had I don't remember what it's called. It was really good. But the place is self is gorgeous is such a place to go to for experiences and to get those photos! I think my favorite thing about this place was the bathroom it was super cool pods that I never seen before. We went and ate at the gallery. It's one of the four places inside of sketch. The server was nice. I wish it was more vegan options. They did have jollof on their menu. I was going to get it but I truly only wanna jollof food from actual African restaurant I would go back here, but probably to a different part so like a bar that's in there and not to get food

Yelp
Sketch you were lovely and worth all the hype I saw online. Came to London and everyone recommended getting a resy at sketch! Online it was fully booked, but we walked in and asked (during the busiest time of year) and they had availability. They keep spots open for walk ins, we were able to come in for high tea the next day! It was lovely, food was delish and drinks were beautiful. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Sketch has multiple separate rooms and culinary experiences offered so this review is specifically for the Lecture room and Library. You will need to have a reservation and a deposit is required. They ask about all dietary restrictions and are so accommodating. I am a pescatarian so they were able to adjust a few menu items for me. Once you walk in you are greeted immediately and taken up the stairs. The whole restaurant is artistically and visual stunning. There's so much going on and it is an experience from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. I know everyone knows the famous pod egg shaped restrooms but they actually have the most gorgeous Swarovski restrooms specifically for those that dine in the Lecture room. The service is excellent as the staff anticipate your every want and need. The food is experimental but still accessible. We enjoyed every single item that was presented in front of us especially the beautiful brioche buns with an assortment of butters. I could literally go on and on but this was truly the best meal of our trip. Highly recommend! From the minute you walk I

Yelp
Single-handedly the worst experience we had in London. Grossly overcharged for six of the tiniest cocktails (there were six of us) you can even imagine. Cocktails were put together with a lot of "flare" but were unbalanced and waaaaay too sweet for anyone to drink. This place is all about seeing and being seen but is utterly devoid of the substance that would justify the prices. Egg toilets were kind of cool though.

Yelp
This review is for the lecture room and library, and our dinner here was hands down the best dining experience of our lives! We were absolutely blown away and amazed for every second of our evening here. The service was the most friendly, fun, knowledgeable and attentive I have ever experienced. The ambiance left us speechless. The evening here was the highlight of our two week trip in Europe, and we had some amazing experiences. The hostess' tour after our dinner of the other rooms really left us feeling like we had the most magical and epic time. I know I haven't mentioned the food yet, it was exceptional and it alone warranted the 5 star review, but we knew going to a 3 Michelin star restaurant would give us perfect cuisine, but the service and impeccable ambiance stunned us and left us feeling like this truly was a highlight from our holiday abroad. Thank you, Sketch for a memory my wife and I will always cherish.

Yelp
Erm... I'll give them this: Sketch is beautifully decked out and makes for good photos. However, the ambience isn't quite as magical in person, and food is just absolutely not it. Granted, we came for a light lunch so didn't try a ton, but both the chicken and the club sandwich were mediocre at best. Chicken was bland, sandwich was almost stale. It's cool getting to explore different rooms in the restaurant, and of course the bathrooms are iconic. Again, the place makes for better photos than actual experience. If you're there in person, decor is still cool but you can tell a lot of the stuff it's past its prime--bit older now. Overall a place worth checking out once, but wouldn't go back.

Yelp
If you're looking for a quick answer on whether you should visit Sketch--YES, absolutely. Go. I rarely write reviews (maybe four in my adult life), but this experience was so exceptional, I felt compelled to share. The best way I can sum it up? Imagine someone describing Disney as "magical"--except this was more magical than any Disney visit I've had. From the moment we arrived--late and sweaty thanks to a chaotic Uber ride during a London heatwave--the staff were warm, accommodating, and gracious. They even called to confirm we were still coming and kindly seated us right beneath the AC to help us cool off. Then came Darren. Our server, and honestly, the heartbeat of our visit. Kind, thoughtful, and knowledgeable, he guided me (a tea novice) through the entire experience with the perfect balance of detail and charm. He explained the teas--what to start with, what paired best with each course, and which ones were traditionally taken with milk. His service was seamless, attentive but never intrusive. Every little detail was noticed, from topping off our tea to subtly rearranging items my friend had moved around. The Gallery Room where we dined was stunning--modern and whimsical, yet refined, and set to the backdrop of a live string quartet playing modern hits. It felt like we were living in a dream. Now, the food. The sandwiches? Familiar in concept, but wildly better in execution. Flavorful, well-balanced, and beautifully presented. The desserts, Wimbledon-themed and delicious. And the scones... I'm still thinking about those scones back in the States. Consider this your warning: they will ruin all other scones for you forever. (Also: clotted cream first, then jam--if you're asking.) Before we left, Louise, the Gallery Director, came to check on our experience. We told her how phenomenal Darren was, and she seemed genuinely touched and proud of her team. My friend even accidentally booked a second tea for the wrong day, and Louise personally fixed the reservation without hesitation. A few days later, my friend returned to Sketch with her daughter (a recent London college grad), and once again, Darren and Louise went out of their way to make the visit special--even adjusting work schedules so Darren could serve them. Her daughter, who's had her fair share of afternoon teas in London, said this was hands-down the best. This experience left such an impression that I'm already planning to return with my niece someday. If you want a truly enchanting afternoon with impeccable service and a sprinkle of magic, Sketch is it. *** If you're American, I'd like to share that the tipping culture is quite different in London. Typically, a 20% charge is added to your bill (you can request its removal if necessary). In my experience, the city is mostly cashless. My only regret was not having cash with me to offer Darren. When your check is run at the table, there is no option to add an additional tip.

Yelp
The afternoon tea experience was incredible! We came in at the beginning of December after booking online. One of the reasons I chose Sketch was because they have special menus for those who have vegan and vegetarian dietary requirements. I emailed ahead of time to make sure I noted that on my booking, and a staff member responded quickly and assured me everything was taken care of. When we checked in with the hostess, she brought us to a cute booth in the yellow dining room. I'm a little sad they changed the decor from the lovely pink I've seen in photos, but the new renovation is still beautiful. The waiter was with us shortly with a big smile on his face. He explained the courses we would get included with afternoon tea, and let us know we could order as much tea, coffee, and water as we liked. We were also able to order seconds of any of the pastries or sandwiches. For my first pot of tea, I ordered the Phoenix Honey Orchid Oolong, which was earthy and nice. But after trying a sip of my cousins Vanilla Black tea, I just had to order some for myself! I loved it so much, I need to buy it. The vanilla came through strongly and gave such a creamy flavor. As for the food, we were amazed from the first bite. We were given 2 appetizers, then brought a 3 tiered stand of our sandwiches and desserts. My favorites were the cucumber sandwich with a quail egg on top and the coronation chickpea salad sandwich, which I did get seconds of. Then we were brought scones (our choice of plain or with dried fruit) with cream and jam. Then we were offered more cake from their dessert table, and finished off with the lovely little macarons. We finished everything, but they did offer to box anything up. Now we have to talk about the bathrooms, which is the other reason I chose to dine here. Not only are they clean inside and out (I have tons of video to prove it), but they are art. The entire restaurant is art from the moment you walk inside- the ballerina that danced through the tea parlor, the string duo, the decor, and the cute drawings within the menu. It was above and beyond what we could've imagined!

Yelp
After The Gallery at sketch renovated to that hideous yellow, I debated whether I even had to go. I decided the bathroom alone is worth the visit and last minute booked whatever was available in the building The Glade has a veggie-based (with seafood options!) menu than can be enjoyed in a vibey Alice in Wonderland-esque interior. It's a prix-fix so you choose 2-3 courses from the menu. Overall, it tasted fine ‍ There's not much to say bc nothing stood out. Some dishes were def interesting for sure. I did enjoy the spelt risotto and its firm grainy texture was cool but that's about it. Can't rly recommend it but I do think it's a solid choice if your priority is the bathroom. Mine was for sure, and I was content by what was offered! for Two Dishes £37 for Three Dishes £42 핑크핑꾸한 갤러리가 촌스러운 노란색으로 리모델링되어서 갈까말까 망설였지만 화장실은 꼭 가보고 싶어서 여기로 예약함.

Yelp
This evening has been in planning for a long time, as I wanted to treat my teenage daughter to an afternoon tea while in London over Christmas. Well, we were not disappointed. From the whimsical interior to the [well-designed] menu with a good selection of teas (Vanilla Black being this party's absolute favorite), sandwiches (with a particularly delicious Croque Monsieur and Cucumber/Egg ones) and pastries (especially the Redcurrant and Lychee Eclair) to the overall atmosphere - it was a lovely evening. The service seemed a bit overwhelmed at times, but it did not deduct much from the evening. Definitely recommend it for those looking for a tea spot in London. Oh, do visit their restrooms - they are quite out of this world

Yelp
Review of high tea. I enjoyed the experience, but I don't think this can be the best high tea place in London. This is definitely one of the top places to go for tea in London, because separately another friend who was visiting London a couple weeks after me chose this place for tea. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the experience, however, as someone who doesn't love sweets, I think I would enjoy another tea place at this price point. Basic tea is 80 pounds and then you can add extra things. We started with a Cherry & Lychee Martini and Beesou Spritz. Both were delicious, but I was jealous of my sister's martini. I didn't get it, because I don't like gin, but the gin was very subtle. I'd highly recommend it. I really enjoyed everything savory, like the sandwiches and the scones. I wasn't entirely impressed with all the sweets and left them half uneaten on my plate. They were a little too sweet for me. It is a lot of food though and we saw a lot of people taking the final cake to go. The string trio was a really nice touch and I like how the tea pots only carry like 2-3 cups of tea in each so you can try a couple flavors. The most surprising part of this place is the bathrooms. My sister hyped it up, but didn't share exactly why they're iconic. I kept watching groups of people walk to the bathroom the whole time wondering what was in there. I just have to say, it lived up to expectations. I also find it hilarious that people take sultry pictures in there. Those bathrooms might be the main draw to eat here. We got here 30 minutes early and they were nice enough to seat us. I wouldn't be mad if someone suggested coming here, but with all the high tea places in London I believe I'd like another one better.

Yelp
My biggest advice is to not go toooo hard on the earlier courses (especially the tower with pastries and sandwiches) because we totally forgot there were still scones and cake to come! But the sandwiches, desserts, and tea are all you can eat so I think overall worth the value. My favorite was the mini lobster rolls and all the little cakes were delicious! The decorations are a big part of the experience too! I've heard it changes seasonally but when we went in June, our room had a pink and classy vibe, with a live quartet. And it's an open secret but don't forget to check out the restrooms - the craziest designs I've e seen for a restroom.

Yelp
From the moment we walked in we were impressed. From the beauty of the decor to the incredible service from the reception desk to our server and the other team members we encountered. We were also able to meet the Director Of Guest Experience, Angus. His passion for Sketch and his guests is felt by everyone who enters. We had lunch in the Parlour and hand a wonderful time. As we were talking at the table and enjoying our cocktails the music changed and a surprise performance happened. Our server Sophia was fantastic. She was friendly and attentive. She took incredible care of us and she gave us wonderful recommendations and really made our experience memorable. We started our meal with a Glow Shot and then moved onto a Burrata Salad while enjoying our cocktails. My friend ordered the Your Love which he really enjoyed. They also have my favorite tequila so I was excited about that and enjoyed it. We moved on to order the steak and salmon for our entrees and the steak was cooked to perfection. My friend really enjoyed his salmon. We are still talking about lunch and I'll be visiting again soon to celebrate a friend's birthday!

Yelp
The food was superb. The ambiance was a modern bridgerton equipped with color, Class and champagne. The service was beyond amazing and they catered to my young child and treated her like a princess. We will be back. Thank you sketch for a memorable experience

Yelp
We went for afternoon tea and it was a fantastic experience. It's definitely a more unique type of afternoon tea vs. the more traditional tea you can find at other spots in London, but we adored our experience here. Sketch is divided into several rooms for different meals and the afternoon tea is held in a beautiful parlor with pink velvet seats everywhere. There was a string quartet that played while we had our tea and they were very good! I felt that they gave us a ton of food and sweets for tea, including as much tea as we wanted. The desserts were my favorite but also loved the croque madame and coronation chicken sandwiches, so we got seconds. Service was helpful. This place is so photogenic so realllt just enjoyed the ambiance and finally making it to the place I've seen on Instagram everywhere :)

Yelp
I had very high hopes for Sketch and in the end had a fairly mixed experience. The venue itself is great. The reservations were difficult to secure, so book early (though I'm not totally sure why as it wasn't overwhelmingly crowded? I think maybe some of the rooms were closed at the time we went). There are 5 rooms, so be sure to at least glance at each of the various themes. We landed a spot in the parlor. This was fine-the pictures online do it a bit of a favor. Grabbed a spot on one of the couches, which overall was a very normal cocktail bar seat. Everyone had told us to check out the bathroom, which is an interesting little art installation (explanation is on the wall walking up). The drinks themselves were very fine. The prices are likely reflective of the overall experience so we weren't so interested in getting more than one. The service at first was great, super friendly and attentive. However, halfway through our experience they were inundated with ?a birthday party? of about 20 people at once, at which point we became essentially non-existent to them as they tried to sort this out, so getting the check was a bit of a hassle. The vibe of the parlor beside the seating was not my favorite. The DJ's choices were a bit aggressive for the amount of people in the room who were simply having conversations. Also, there are signs posted about being respectful of taking pictures in the area and being mindful of other patrons when doing so, so I found it a bit off-putting when I found myself in the background of the DJ filming what I assume was some sort of live social media moment. Overall, the hype is focused on the venue space and you can probably get this from the pictures themselves online.

Yelp
Wow- this by far was the most beautiful restaurant I've ever been to. There are several different dining rooms/experiences. All decorated differently- but equally beautiful. The entrance is enchanting. The bathrooms!!! We had breakfast, and the food was delicious and beautiful!!
