"It was the 1920's on the left bank of the Seine River in Paris, known to Parisians as La Rive Gauche, when the cafés of Montparnasse gave birth to an art and literary scene that would change the world. This was a time when artists, writers, and creative thinkers reigned supreme, living la vie de bohème; from Ernest Hemingway to F. Scott Fitzgerald, Josephine Baker and Gertrud Stein — Henri Matisse, Colette, Pablo Picasso, Djuna Barnes, and the list goes on. These vanguard artists were the inspiration for our restaurant, and you will notice tributes to them throughout your dining experience. We celebrate their visions, while including our own."

If you ever wondered what it’s like to have your entire palate hijacked by sugar and salt at the same time, Left Bank Bistro has your answer. It’s like brunch walked into a French bakery and a Himalayan salt mine simultaneously—and no one said “non.” The Mixed Berry Parfait had enough berries to summon woodland creatures from the hedges, while the Crab & Avocado Toast whispered sweet nothings of sea and citrus… before getting slapped in the face with ricotta and aioli like it owed someone rent. And let’s talk about the breakfast potatoes—sorry, “house-made bistro frites.” I bit into one and genuinely thought it was a prop from a vintage diner. I’ve had firmer cushions on my grandmother’s porch swing. Someone get those fries a hydration plan. On the sweet side, the Pain Perdu (aka French toast with a superiority complex) came dressed for brunch like it was the lead in Les Misérables. It had whipped cream, maple syrup, and enough Grand Marnier to make me forget I was still waiting for a refill on my coffee. Everything is either sweet enough to send you to confession or salty enough to preserve a ham. Honestly, I respect the dedication. Would I come back? Probably. I like chaos in a brunch menu. Left Bank Bistro: where your taste buds ride a unicycle on a tightrope of flavor. Vive la confusion!

I've heard great things about this restaurant, so I was a bit disappointed by my experience. The interior is very cute, and I love that they play French music while you dine. However, it took about 10 minutes for our waitress to take our drink order, which only happened after I asked the hostess who our waitress was supposed to be. This would have been understandable if the restaurant had been busy, but it wasn't crowded at all. On a positive note, the food came out fairly quickly. The yogurt parfait was okay, but for $18, I wouldn't order it again. I also tried the breakfast sandwich on a croissant and honestly didn't like it. However, the cheesy grits were delicious!

Came for lunch & sat on the patio. Service was a little slow even though they weren’t very busy. Food itself was good, but nothing mind-blowing. Great little spot if you’re in the area. Chef came out at one point and grabbed some herbs they grow on the patio for his dishes. Patio is dog friendly. We got the turkey club (pretty good but I’d argue I make a better one at home). Fries were yummy. Salmon salad was very good and salmon was cooked nicely. Solid 3-3.5 star quality dishes (out of a possible 5), arguably a bit overpriced.

I had the most wonderful evening here. The atmosphere is extremely inviting and intimate. The food selection was great and everything I ordered was delicious and artistic. The cocktails and the service from the bartender, Gabriel, was top notch. I would definitely recommend coming here to anyone. If you're looking for a cute, upscale but casual place to eat, The Left Bank is your spot.

Very nice small spot. Good choice if you want a little more up scale breakfast spot to show off. I’d recommend. I had the Smoked Salmon Benedict and it was solid. Definitely would go back.

Well trained staff explained everything on the menu I didn’t know. Great food with combinations of flavors I would never guessed works so well together! Also, simple things like the butter presentation was cute.
