My daughter's Bat Mitzvah was held at the Legacy Club on 9/28/24. We had the most wonderful experience from start to finish. The new conservatory was the perfect place for our cocktail hour. The room has such a calm vibe to it with the glass windows and high ceiling. We got so many compliments on the food. Was a perfect party! Highly recommend!

I attended the Samaritan Hospice 45 Year celebration last week. The venue sits off the road and is visually appealing. The food service deserves 4 stars. Samaritan is 5 Star always. The venue had a carving station and neglected to have knives. The man carving was not very helpful when asked for help. It took them over 45 minutes to get knives out. The mic also went dead during the presentation. The event was nice but the venue could dot a few more i's and cross a few more t's regarding details.

I am writing to share my recent experience at your establishment during brunch on Sunday, October 12th, which, unfortunately, was quite disappointing. To begin with, the eggs benedict we ordered for $24 did not meet my expectations. It was served with a salmon croquette that was hard and dry, which made it rather unappetizing. Moreover, the dish lacked hollandaise sauce, leaving it with just a plain egg. Additionally, I ordered a glass of prosecco, which did not arrive until I reminded the waitress when our meals were served. The delay was quite inconvenient, and it was evident that the waitress was scarce and not attentive to our table, despite the restaurant not being busy at the time. Overall, my family and I were quite dissatisfied with our dining experience, and we do not plan to return. I wanted to bring these issues to your attention in hopes that they can be addressed to improve the experience for future patrons.

Attended a wedding anniversary party there last night. Absolutely beautiful venue, delicious food and kind, courteous and attentive staff. Loved the picture windows throughout the property, overlooking the beautiful golf course and grounds. Loved the modern decor--perfect for taking pictures at every angle. Loved the food--every bite of the meal was delicious, with an abundance of tasty desserts. Loved that the valet parking service had our cars ready for us when the event was over. The friendly and professional wait staff took care of our party and made sure that each guest enjoyed the visit. Chef's kiss for every detail being perfect. Would highly recommend.

The Legacy Club gave us an amazing experience for our wedding reception. We got married in a private intimate setting, but threw a big party 6 months later to celebrate with our friends and family. We booked the Legacy Club within about 4 months of our event, so the planning went fast, but the staff knew exactly what to do and helped us along the way. They made sure it was not overwhelming and we got exactly what we wanted. Thanks Tori and Jamie especially!!! The only downside of the Legacy Club for us was they were undergoing renovations and their new atrium space was not ready for our early October reception. Even though we were a little bummed we didn't get to use the Atrium space we were blown away by how beautiful the event turned out. To make up for it the staff even allowed us to use the bridal suite, which made the day of flow a lot easier as we had a nice place to be with snacks and drinks. We are not golf people in the slightest, but the grounds and venue were the perfect backdrop for photos. As a lesbian couple it was so important to us that we felt not only comfortable with the venue having us there, but that we were celebrated at well. The legacy club definitely hit the mark!

We were hired by our client to provide decor for a graduation party. Beautiful venue with friendly staff!

Google
We got married October 2021 and the staff at Woodcrest (especially our coordinator Tori) was amazing. The grounds are so beautiful and there are many locations for portraits outside. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about the food at cocktail hour. Also highly recommend including the after party option as it was so convenient to continue the party without having to travel after the reception. Overall an amazing day with amazing service!

Google
Awful experience with the head of events coordinator Thomas. I was supposed to have my wedding reception here and after being told the room was held for me and providing them with all of my details I received an email from Thomas at 10 pm telling me that I basically couldn't have my reception there. I returned his email the next morning and did not receive a response. My mom who was helping plan the wedding also called and left him two messages and received no response. Highly unprofessional and would not recommend.

Yelp
Came as a guest for a relatives baby shower. They had complimentary valet so that was the first thing we did. Entering the property you go through a gorgeous tunnel of trees on both sides, with the greenery of the golf course on both sides of you and a beautiful fountain to greet you on the right. The place is large and has several different event spaces. When you enter, there is a space to the left and right. We didn't know exactly where to go and there was no one inside to help direct us. I went outside to ask the gentleman at the Valet and he had no idea. When you continue to walk into the space, it opens up to the restaurant. Our party was past the restaurant space, in a side room. It had a gorgeous view of the property and golf course. The food was delicious - to start we had appetizers from bruschetta, to charcuterie to shrimp pesto pizza (fan favorite). Our meal was served buffet style and there were 2 types of chicken, 2 types of pasta and more! For dessert, we had freshly baked cookies (I had to control myself and just have one lol), an assortment of fruit and mini tiramisu's. From a guest standpoint, I had a great experience. The venue is gorgeous and the food was phenomenal. The staff were great, friendly and on top of clearing out plates and filling our waters. I can not speak to the value of pricing of the event space.

Joyce S.

Yelp
The vibes, the event space was very inviting and spectacular. The brunch food was amazing. Most people that attended the party, was their first time. They were very pleased, happy and raved about the place. I appreciated the extra special care everyone gave.

Yelp
Course is beautiful and very well maintained. One of the nicest golf courses in South Jersey and can't wait to play again.

Yelp
It smelled amazing upon arrival. The bathrooms were clean on both sides of the facility. The brunch food was "just"'okay I would swap out a few items for different ones. The customer service was really on point! Great grounds.

Yelp
At the legacy club at woodcrest the food is amazing, so scrumptious and flavorful. I got a cob salad it was presented so nice and incredible. The staff were really sweet and polite. The bathrooms were really pretty, they smelled amazing, some of the paint was pealed off. They had really nice thick towels though. There was no dust anywhere. (Yes I checked) They have plants and other fun things everywhere. Overall I would definitely recommend this place and 100% come back.

Yelp
Awful food. I've been to Legacy Club 4 times, the place is sooo pretty. But, the food, wait staff, and cocktails are terrible! The caprese salad was just ok, the lettuce wasn't dressed, the cauliflower was soggy, and I've never seen a restaraunt screw up chicken parm- this was terrible...tasted like jarred sauce over poor quality chicken. Not sure how this place is getting 4 stars. A true disappointment, the place has so much potential....get a real chef and wait staff... South Jersey supports great food!!! Two stars for atmosphere!

Yelp
I'm really shocked and the reviews for this course. Of all of the courses open to the public in the area Woodcrest and Scotland are the best IMO. Woodcrest really does the little things that makes you not mind paying top dollar to golf. They give you bottles of water, tees, divot tools, towels etc. The course itself is always in pristine condition and the pace of play is on point. It's a very challenging course as well. So if you don't golf often it may not be the best place to go. If I had to critique it, I'd say I wish they did a better job covering the course from the roads on the front nine. Other than that, I really do enjoy it. The clubhouse is extremely nice. The bathrooms/locker room are loaded with stuff to get ready or to freshen up after your round. Their food is really good there as well and they always have a good beer selection. Just a reminder, it's semi private. So Friday from noon on is members only. As well as Saturday and Sunday until noon. So if you're not a member you can't get the best tee

Yelp
Words cant begin to explain how thankful I am that my baby shower was held here. From the moment we contacted WCC the service has been nothing short of amazing. We first started our venue search back in November and were really disappointed in our findings. Nothing caught our eye or was extremely out of the way. Stumbled on WCC and the minute I reached out to them, I was impressed with how attentive the event planners (both Nicole's) were. They were so accommodating and were willing to go above and beyond for anything I asked for. The venue itself is beautiful with gorgeous golf course views. The hall is new, with a stunning floral wall and natural colors to help you decorate as you want! On top of how accommodating these ladies were, they were extremely responsive to all my emails leading up to the event. I don't think we went longer than a few hours before we had a detailed response. As impatient as I am, I appericated this so much! Come the day of the event, they added an additional table for our extra guests without hesitation. The staff went above and beyond to help us set up for the shower. From their willingness to held a hand to how well mannered and respectful they were, they left all of my guests and I in awe of the service. Rut, Edger, and several other servers were so sweet and accommodating that I really cant thank them enough. I cant forget about the food!! It was delicious! From the fresh salad to the perfectly cooked steaks and dessert, I was extremely satisfied with the food selection and taste. There's a lot that can go wrong at any event, there's also a lot of hiccups when there are so many people at an event and so much staff working it, but I can honestly say from the very beginning WCC was nothing short of amazing. To have 73 adults speak nothing but praise about service, how pretty the venue is, and how good the food was, it really tells you something! Thank you for the amazing service WCC and helping make our celebration that much more joyful!

Yelp
Unfortunately, our second event here was not managed well and the food quality was inconsistent. I had to manage organizing my decor items right before the event time which was unexpected and a bit stressful. I realize they were short staffed but we would have appreciated more attention to detail and better communication.

Krista M.

Yelp
Such irresponsible and reckless neighbors. My vehicle was damaged by a golf ball ( as we reside across the street). This has happened on 3 previous incidents. After calling for 4 weeks and being assured each time that the issue would be addressed , I came to the realization that it would in fact, continue to be ignored. This is willful negligence and irresponsible business practice.

Sara P.

Yelp
We had my sister bridal shower here. The most beautiful venue with wonderful views. From start to finish the event went perfect and Amanda and the staff were amazing and so nice! if you're looking to have your event here you won't be disappointed! The food was absolutely amazing too!! We can't wait to host another event here! Thank you for a wonderful day!

Ann N.

Yelp
Woodcrest county club was a perfect venue for my baby shower. The staff was very nice and helpful. Nikki (event planner) went above and beyond to make sure everything was done right for the party. She allowed us to drop off decorations prior to the event and coordinated with our other vendors. Due to Nikki assertiveness the shower went off with a hitch. All our guests raved about the food and the staff even provided to go cake boxes. We picked chicken parm and crab sliders, tacos, pasta and salad- all food was fresh , hot and very delicious!! I would definitely recommend anyone to have their event at woodcrest.

Sara A.

Yelp
My husband I got married at Woodcrest in 2016 and had a wonderful experience, so when searching for venues to host my sisters baby shower, Woodcrest was at the top of our list. The event planning team is easy to work with and very responsive, which made the planning process pain free. Nicole, who was the lead planner on our event, was organized and helpful. Our guests were so impressed by the room, the views, the food and the service. Woodcrest went above and beyond to ensure we had a beautiful party. I highly recommend for any event, big or small.

Yelp
When it was time to choose a location for my daughters Bridal Shower her bridesmaids & I looked at 3 different venues. As we left each place we said we liked the first one best which of course was the Woodcrest CC. It was so beautiful inside and out nothing else compared. But what really sold us besides the price and value was the Event Planner & Sales Specialist Nikki Hezlep, so helpful as she met all of our needs and so easy to deal with, Nikki also had some great ideas as far as setting tables up a specific way.

Yelp
Woodcrest Country Club was the very first venue we toured, and from our first encounter with George, we knew Woodcrest was it. George was very accommodating with our budget, making our dream wedding possible. In addition, he was hands-on in the planning process - from accompanying our tasting, giving recommendations on venders, and keeping in contact throughout the months. George has been in in this business for some time, and his professionalism showed us that we were in the best hands. George, the biggest Thank You for so much; from our first visit at Bar 1929 before we booked to the last handshake when picking up our décor, you were an absolute pleasure to work with. Nicole Howell, there is not a better coordinator out there. Her professionalism, organization and kindness made our planning process a breeze. She brought our vision to life, giving the Flynn Ballroom a romantic, organic, simplistic feel which was what we were going for. Her responses was always immediate, questions were always answered, timelines were planned perfectly. Nicole, for wiping away tears, for holding my gown, laughing with us, supporting our vision, and just being there on our wedding day, we couldn't have asked for a better human being to help us plan our special day. To the entire staff at Woodcrest - our guests are still talking about our food! From cocktail hour, to dinner/dessert selections, to everyone's favorite Martini Bar, weeks have gone by and we're still hearing how 'out of this world' their experience was. Your staff was beyond professional, incredibly accommodating and provided our guests the best service. There are not enough words to express how truly perfect our wedding day was. I would spend every penny to relive the day. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for EVERYTHING; your beautiful, renovated space/grounds, Bar 1929, to your Chef, staff, wedding team (George, Nicole and Nikki); you made our dreams come true. The most important aspect of our wedding day was to have everyone we love in one room. The BEST decision we made was having everyone in yours.

Yelp
Visited this place for a wedding. It is gorgeous. The ceremony was outside; It was spacious and the staff were attentive. Cocktail hour was one of the best I have attended. The food was delicious, staff were quick to refill trays and the bar tenders were nice. Cocktail hour: calamari, slider and fries station, cheese station and seafood station. The reception dinner was great. I had the sirloin with stuffed shrimp; the other options were salmon or duck. The hall is beautiful, well lit and on a beautiful golf course.

Yelp
What a beautiful place, Nicole did a wonderful job setting up my party and having everything worked out for me. i would def recommend woodcrest country club.

Clark M.

Yelp
Great first impression, friendly staff, first 5 holes wow you but the rest leaves you walking away wondering why you paid $100. Course is a perfect example of great bones, but average maintenance. Wish it was private again - I would probably buy a membership there assuming it would be kept up. Would rather play Glen Mills across the bridge if I am paying $100 for public golf. Practice facility - average... Grass tees were nice but very muddy. Couldn't hit driver (only 250 yards deep) Pro shop - above average Food - slightly on the expensive side - Comon guys it's public golf - $4.50 for an iced tea? Tee boxes - generally great minus about 5-6 holes Fairways - above average Greens - looked great... Some inconsistent rolls but good for public golf Overall B - has the potential but after going public some of the details are being overlooked it seems (cart paths, divot repairs, proper cutting of the rough)

Yelp
Course is in excellent condition, very well maintained ( only issue is yardage markers are faded , difficult to determine distance- all are white ) But I am sure they will address that .. I highly recommend this golf course..

Yelp
WOW ! went to a wedding last night and was blown away how great all the spaces are ! Cocktail hour in the beautiful bar was terrific, servers, food,EVERYTHING was soooo on point.Cant wait to try friday nights with music

Yelp
When I first drove in I thought wow this is cool. That was about it! I have no idea how much money the bride & groom paid for their wedding, but they paid too much! So odd how there was 20-30 minutes between courses - dinner wasn't served until 9 PM. The staff was nice but they were all over the place - not one specific person waited on us. The tables were so tight and the dance floor was minuscule, but there was tons of empty space in the room. Yuck!

Carol M.

Yelp
We just had an outstanding Holiday party at Woodcrest Country Club. We have had so many parties over the years but this one was memorable! My thanks to the event staff. The venue was perfect, the food was exceptional! Everyone loved it.

Kim M.

Yelp
Attended a Bar Mitzvah here Saturday. Can not say enough about using this as a venue. The food was excellent. Excellent. Wait staff and bartenders were attentive and fast. Rooms were beautiful, updated and clean. Everything was perfect. Perfect. A+

Elyce D.

Yelp
Not a fan. I can see a housing development built on this course one day. Went from private to public, prices are sky high ($100+), and conditions were sub par. I'll admit the layout and certain holes were amazing. Definitely can tell this place was once a gem. But time, low membership, low funding, and a lack of care has the place looking like the high school hottie after 3 kids and 2 divorces. I'm happy to say I went but I rather spend that kind of money at the shore courses or glen mills.

Alex R.

Yelp
Great condition, not crowded. Fairways immaculate; beautiful mature trees. Need a long drive, mostly curving to the left, which suits my game. Par 3's are very challenging and require landing on greens to avoid a double. A strong but fair test, not tricked up. Pricey at $125, plus must be a member to buy a beer.

Craig L.

Yelp
Go elsewhere if you want to have a good time and be treated the right way. Course was nice. When I spend 100 dollars for a round per person I like/ expect to have/ buy a beer. They would not sell us any alcohol. No where does their site say that! I took 3 guys out and not to be able to have a drink is a joke. Honestly for what I spent I should have gone elsewhere so we could have been treated like adults.
