"This restaurant pays homage to the hotel’s founding patriarch. A variety of Shun Tak dishes – such as minced fish soup and pan-fried fish head – are served, to a backdrop of breathtaking harbour views and modern Chinese décor. It also supports the local economy by ordering ingredients and cookware from local fishermen, artisans and farms directly. A dress code applies for dinner." - Michelin Inspector

Work related dinner for a small group at the Legacy tonight. Great ambience and service. Fusion-like Chinese food with rather unusual ingredients like mantis shrimp, abundance of tangerine in most dishes from soup to dessert. Soup could do well with more seasoning while the red bean soup could be less sweet. The fish curd in western style potage parmentier and Chinese bak choi was creative but probably did not match. Overall a pleasant experience. Wine was great

For me, this is the best restaurant in Hong Kong. The cuisine is outstanding ! I come here every day whenever I’m in the city. Ingredient quality is always top-notch, and the cooking is consistently precise and refined. The restaurant has a stunning view over the harbour. There’s an excellent tea selection. The dim sum is a true highlight, especially the mantis shrimp. Everything on the menu is executed to perfection you can confidently order anything. Highly recommended!!!

A memorable dining experience at a Michelin-starred restaurant in Hong Kong. We chose this restaurant to celebrate my wife's birthday, and the experience was perfect. The service was impeccable and the food was outstanding. Overall, the experience was wonderful.

I visited this restaurant with my family and found the experience deeply disappointing, especially given the hotel’s recent claims of being ranked among the world’s best. Based on our visit, that distinction feels entirely undeserved. From arrival, the lack of service was noticeable. There was no greeting or assistance from the doorman or bell staff, and when we asked for directions inside the hotel, we were met with minimal engagement and simply pointed toward the elevator. The restaurant itself failed to make a strong first impression. The space felt cramped and overly casual, with tightly packed tables, which did not align with expectations for a Michelin-starred dining venue. Service throughout the meal was subpar. Several staff members appeared disengaged and unsmiling, while others operated in a rigid, transactional manner. The food was equally inconsistent. While a few dishes were acceptable, many were bland and forgettable, lacking the refinement expected at this level. Having experienced other Michelin-starred Chinese restaurants across Hong Kong, this restaurant does not come close in terms of service, atmosphere, or cuisine. Overall, the experience fell well short of its reputation, and I would not return.

We have been to this Michelin Star Chinese restaurant for a dinner earlier. That was a delightful experience! We are not living in Hong Kong, and have been long looking forward to coming back, and now we are here! This time we do A La Carte lunch. The seatings are spacious, with a superb and unblocked sea view! Can’t go wrong with their dim sum! The taro buds, Ha Gor, and Cha siu bao are firm favorites for us. The BBQ pork and crispy pork belly are so tender and juicy! The meal is finished with a mixed dessert plate which is a feast for the senses! It comes with the traditional Chinese sweets like black sesame rolls and white sugar cake, together with the mango and taro puddings. Just a satisfying chew of all delish ingredients! Everyone was very accommodating and attentive, especially our server, Alex. We already planned to take their lunch set menu on our next visit!

Well deserved Michelin One Star restaurant The delicacy is yummy and delicious using well selected ingredients, fresh, great cooking techniques, well balanced taste, end results is very well refined quality dishes. That lotus wrapped rice is stunning with great level of aroma. The dessert Pomelo Sago dish is best in town. Well tuned on thickness, creaminess and yet well balanced. The razor clam with bamboo shot is super fresh, giant fresh razor clam and super refreshing bamboo shot. Service is super attentive and giving us plenty of time between each dishes to enjoy the food. The 2nd seating was removed from our table based on our request to enable us to have the table all night long. The view is stunning and has the whole Victoria harbour in front of us. The atmosphere is superb, very romantic and suits couple for festive season like Xmas. The whole restaurant is well decorated, tuned with the right lighting to enable you to see the food clearly and dark enough else where to give you the romantic feel Given the above quality it comes with a high price but proportion to what you get. In short good value for money. Worth to enjoy dinner in this stunning restaurant

Have my birthday dinner on 8/Dec, 15 of us in one private dining room with Victoria harbour view! 😍 Pre-ordered tasting menu, the dishes are in proper portion, the food was incredible ! All dishes we tried was delicious. Our server Lydia was particularly attentive and make our dinning experience memorable! I will definitely be recommending this to my friends and family. It’s a bit expensive but it’s worth.

The Legacy House is the Chinese restaurant of the famous 6-star Rosewood Hotel in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong. The restaurant with a high ceiling is very spacious. One of the private rooms which can accommodate up to 12 guests has its own living room, dining room, balcony, and a stunning view of the Victoria Harbour. Servers are polite and professional. However, food quality of the Shunde cuisine is quite inconsistent. While the Stir-Fried Fish Noodles are bouncy and flavourful, the Deep-Fried Crispy Pigeon is dry and tough, and the Minced Fish Soup is too watery and a bit fishy. Highly recommend the surprisingly refreshing Braised Tofu, Lily Bulb, Fish Curd, Noble Bottle Tree Nut.

Just love the food here. Tasty and authentic. Impeccable service too. They also celebrate your birthday with nice treats.

Yelp
Incredible views, amazing food, but not really worth the price. This is a very different restaurant. The setting is extremely cozy, and understated grandeur. There is a lot to see here: the open kitchens where the chefs are steaming shellfish or rolling dumpling skins, the outdoor balcony where you can breathe in harbor views, and needless to say, most tables have excellent views of the harbor. The food is also very different. We had very good vegetarian appetizers that are very tasty and unusual (Marinated Cherry Tomatoes, Amber Jelly Fungus, Marinated Eggplant). They had mini geoducks cooked and served in shell. I prefer their spicy black bean sauce with the geoduck. And they also have surf clams cooked in their shell. Unfortunately, our clams were overcooked and tough. The soups we had were tasty, but ordinary. Stir-Fried Fish Noodle was dry by itself, but tasty with their complimentary spicy sauce or the white sauce from the Bok Choy, Taro, Sweet Potato Casserole. The noodles were actually entirely made of fish. If cost was not a concern, this was a five star experience. But for the price, I would give this a two star.

Yelp
A gorgeous, dark and moody restaurant. Beautiful design. Service was exceptional - they explained the menu and as I was dining alone they also brought a book for me to read. This restaurant was part of the Rosewood hotel which is a gorgeous property. However the food was just ok. To me, Din Tai Fung tasted just as good or better.
