RUN don't even consider this horrible place. Cockroaches everywhere, rats coming into your apartment, dirty on move in. The siding is almost gone with no repairs. The office doesn't care, as long as they get their rent. Every time I walked into the office, the two people who work there were on their cell phones. You never got to see the manager because she was "busy". Maintenace does not care. Work orders put in, wait weeks for a response. 8 to 10 people in one-bedroom apartments. Pay for outside electric??????? And your water will be off for at least one day a week with no notice. We left and will tell everyone we know, never think about renting there. Worst place I've lived: dirty with garbage and dog droppings all over, pools constantly closed, charged after move-out after person who did inspection said it's the cleanest they've ever seen, staff non-responsive, water constantly shut off without notice, loud music in the middle of the night, maintenance requests not taken care of (bedroom leaks not fixed for the whole time of living here, ~2 yrs) or take forever (we're talking months) — if AC breaks in the middle of summer, that's considered not urgent for management. If you can, avoid renting here.

At move in Raul states smoking is okay outside that multiple people do then main lady manager States they are a smoke free property months later but gym then smells like weed and when complained about they don’t do anything I continue to see tenants smoking on balconies, walking around the property etc daily, one of office managers cat roams around parking lots and backyards and then threatens dogs with taser multiple nights and denies after videos etc have proof after barking at it tenants getting drunk at grills by lake and starting problems but blames those who defend themselves back if you have kids don’t move here drunks chill on stairs that don’t belong and leave crap you’ll get blamed for they pick and choose sides MOLD ON AIR VENTS IN EVERY ROOM SINCE MOVE IN MULTIPLE COMPLAINTS nothing is done since hurricane damage side of bedroom has had noises in wall office says they’ll have someone out in few days it’s been 3 months still nothing

Worst place ever! first of all the “nice” employees will and I mean WILL hang up on you. My husband was making a complaint about how he saw some men drinking and trashing the place. Yet the employee told him that he doesn’t want to get involved and just to call the police. The police said that he can’t do anything because it is a private place. Another thing my daughter and I had to encounter perverts while walking our dog. This place doesn’t do background checks on anyone or doesn’t even do checks when someone complains. People here have no manners and throw the trash everywhere even the pool has glass shatters. My husband went to the dog park with my daughter and my dog, she got a glass piece on her foot and my dog got an empty modelo bottle and brought it to my husband. Also my daughter has never ever been exposed to the smell of marihuana before this place (she is 7 by the way) and now every time someone smokes she can recognize it. This place isn’t family friendly nor pet friendly.

I believe the bad reviews are from tenants who just want things their own way. It's an apartment complex, yes, you are responsible for what you signed for in your leasing agreement. Possibly you should have read it before you signed it before placing blame on the property. Maintenace has always been to my apartment at time scheduled. Jayme and Rosalia, are past AWESOME. They always have time for you, and if there is an issue, they make sure it's resolved. Jayme and Rosalia are always welcome to help you. I would suggest you give then the respect that you would expect for yourself.

The worst apartment complex in Sarasota. Lived here for 2 years, they changed management twice. Office never picks up any phone calls ; goes straight to voicemail. Apartments very small, old, and not worth 2K for 700 Sq'ft. Mold, cockroaches everywhere no matter how much you clean. They love to shut off the water to "fix the pipes" BS same problem kept reoccurring over and over! When you leave they keep your deposit and management never returns your phone calls, they claim they have no record of your deposit (again bs). Pool always closed never available for use. Dumpster always overflowing, disgusting! DO NOT RENT HERE, STAY AWAY!!

The Lexington is a long time icon in the area. Many of us have grown up and seen it there glimmering like a beam of hope. Great place to live nice golf on the backside. Come check them out.

The worst apartments in Sarasota. The property manager is absolutely terrible and basically a horrible human being who doesn’t treat anyone with any decency and throws her employees under the bus for her mistakes. The place is crawling with roaches no matter how clean you keep it. The toilets constantly get clogged because of bad plumping and sewage comes up the drains. And it also smells bad around the complex no matter where you go. I hated taking my dog for walks because it always smelled. Everyone else who has a dog here never and I mean NEVER cleaned up after them. I could never let my kids walk around the lake because there was dog poop everywhere you looked. Management did put up signs and warning’s but never actually enforced anything. One family would invite all of their extended family and friends to the pool and throw parties every weekend and crowded it so much no other tenants could use it and management never did anything to enforce a guest limit rule. Cigarette butts all over the pool areas. Honestly this place was almost $2k a month in rent in 2022 and it was definitely not worth it. Outdated appliances as well. A porch that sloped drastically because it constantly got flooded (and this is on the second floor). The maintenance guys were always helpful but definitely over worked, constantly putting bandaids on peoples plumbing issues because the management company wouldn’t pay for a real solution. Our toilet contents completely spilled down into the bottom neighbors apartment not once, not twice, but three times in the course of a year. And we had no idea it was happening. We would flush as usual and randomly the contents of that flush would come down through their ceiling, ruining their ceiling completely and making their whole house smell terrible. I’ve never lived at a worse apartment complex. The leasing agents were always very kind and tired to be helpful but the worker for a condescending women who thought she would never have any consequences for how she treated people. I hope that at some point she did. This is not a family friendly apartment complex. The 4 bedrooms are spacious but not worth it because of all the above problems. Especially the roaches and poop issues. Just gross. We kept our house so clean, never left food out, it doesn’t matter: They live in the walls and no matter how many times an exterminator comes it never helps. He pointed out wholes around the cabinets that could be filled because it was a possible point of entrance but again, management never did anything. So instead you get to wake up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and get freaked out by huge roaches crawling on the walls. Again, I’ve NEVER lived somewhere that was this bad.
