My wife & I went for Sunday Brunch and it was delightful. The Huevos Rancheros reminded of mi Tia's cooking back in California. Service was wonderful too. Drinka were great!

We visited on a rainy Saturday afternoon. We were the only ones there and it was fantastic. The bartender was friendly, the food and drinks were great, and they put soccer on a projector screen. Get the chicken sliders and the Negroni. The chocolate martini is 🤌🏻.

My partner and I had a wonderful experience here this past weekend! Great food, a little pricey but delicious. Wine and beer were good and happy hour really helped! Very quiet on Sunday but a nice vibe. Please support this small business if you can!

The menu features food that seems simple but tastes wonderfully complex. The Lexington Social delivers excellence in every aspect. The staff has a level of beauty that's noticeable. The food here deserves high praise. This spot offers apparent skill.

The Lexington Social offers an outstanding brunch experience. I went looking for a place to watch the US Open and left having found gold. One of the owners greeted us at the door, and excellent service ensued. Great food, great drinks, great prices. Would highly recommend for a casual visit.

The food was pretty similar to other bistro/tapas places. I have yet to experience their happy hour but will be returning at a later time to revisit this place. I did have a very attentive staff member and enjoyed the meal. Hope to revisit this place soon.

I usually come after work to purchase the frozen margaritas, but yesterday was told that I have to pay the regular price for takeout. When I explained to Gavin that I was never charged the regular price for takeout unless it was past happy hour times. He got upset and started yell, I will give you your money back. I told Gavin that I never had a problem in the store until yesterday and that I had never seen him there before. He stated he's been working there for over 10 years. I told him I would speak to the owner and that I wasn't leaving with my drink and corrected change. Well honey Gavin throw my change on the counter, and I left. I also informed Gavin that I would be back without my child so he could throw my money again. I he will learn manners on that day!

Great cozy spot for brunch with friends! Their Lexington burger was so juicy and tender, plus the price is amazing at $19 for the amount of food you get. The service is also great as the waiter was very attentive and kind to us. Love this place and will come back to try the rest of their menu!

Me and my hunny have been here so many times that we've lost count lol. It's your classic cocktail bar serving a little more than your average finger foods. The ambiance is really chill and casual with great service and just overall good vibes. The food is good but the drinks are even better. I've had their Parmesan truffle fries, their shrimp fettuccine and their mushroom flatbread which were all delicious. Our go to drink every time has been the pineapple mescalita. I promise you can't go wrong. Overall, me and my hunny will definitely keep coming back. Oh like most cocktail bars, they have happy hour which I believe is from 3-6 but don't quote me on that. Anyways, I hope this review helps.

Food was fresh and tasty, as were the drinks. Ambience was exactly what you would expect from a NYC gastropub. Service was very disappointing. I will not be back, which is unfortunate. I had high hopes for this place, but will spend my money in the future at restaurants that make me feel welcome and valued as a customer.

Overall a disappointing experience. Me and my friend were the only two in the entire restaurant for brunch and the food took almost an hour. In the meantime , we saw one of the two people working leave to go buy an ingredient for our food and they had trouble turning the coffee machine on/getting it plugged in which took a while to resolve. In the end, the food was mostly just fine. All the fried eggs were completely overlooked but the sauces were good. The meals were things I feel like can just be thrown together at home and were significantly messier, simpler, and smaller than what's shown online

Stopped here for a drink. The the mango frozen margarita was on point! I'll definitely return here to get more margaritas and try the food. They do have happy hour. Enjoy!

Really great happy hour margaritas and small food plates (tapas). Highly recommend the tamarindo margarita from the happy hour menu and the Mac and cheese with chorizo from the tapas menu. The last item I ordered was the mushroom flatbread and it really dampened my experience. The flatbread was not toasted, and almost damp. The mushrooms didn't taste seasoned and it was overall a terrible dish. Takeaway: if you avoid the mushroom flatbread, you'll have a great time!

I've been living here for over 2 years and have never been to this spot. To be honest, this place was amazing! The food was so good and the service was quick. The staff is so personable. We love Joselyn so much she was an amazing server. Definitely recommend this place.

This place is really good. We had the chicken sliders, mac and cheese, and the pulpo (octopus). Delicious! And we enjoyed some margaritas and Cadillac's (our server explained that it's a finer type of margarita). They have an excellent happy hour menu and quality food.

Came here recently after work. Had the tamarind margarita. Well made, it was the best item I had there, so good that I had two on a week night with early work the next day. Appetizers were subpar. Portions were definitely less than what I saw on social media. Brie cheese in a commenter's picture was twice as big as what we received. We were a party of 15+. Please make sure your check is correct, lots of service charges added when we went to the bar get our own drinks. Loved that the huge tv was showing soccer. Clean environment. Not the greatest experience but no the worst also.

What a disappointment! Six of us went for brunch on Saturday. The first impression is that it's a very dark and grungy place - the outside was messy with garbage cans and in disarray. The inside was ok but also dark and dingy. The website's menu on line is not the one at the restaurant so we had choices that no one was especially pleased with. For example, I ordered juevos rancheros which was basically one egg on taco chips sitting on a red watery sauce, and sprinkled with white cheese - tasteless. We all ordered different dishes and no one found the food appealing. The most ridiculous things is that they only had enough espresso for two cups of coffee, so the rest of us had to drink tea or brewed coffee (that was pretty bad). I can't figure why it has received good reviews unless people like a dingy bar in El Barrio. But never again for us!

Came here last March & liked it, decided to go for round 2 today & it was just as good! Don't have to wait for a table seated right away. Very cute & quaint inside. I noticed they have a HAPPY HOUR 4-7. BACON WRAPPED DATES w/ FETA cheese are AMAZING. So rich almost like a desert. The PESTO MARGARITA PIZZA was beautiful & the Mozzarella tasted so fresh. TRUFFLE FRIES are always good . Wasn't too impressed with THE LEXINGTONBURGER was served cold and definitely needs better presentation(looked like it was from a deli). The cheese on it though was noticeably delicious. But for the cost was disappointed. Service was good, was actually the same man I had seen last year. Looked like it was a one man show today on the floor and he was on top of things. Overall while in the area would definitely stop by again. Right next to the train and only a couple blocks from Mount Sinai.

Toilet paper salad I was served a Caesar salad that had toilet paper in it. Need I say more?

Drinks were pretty overpriced and the only one who knew what she was doing was the bartender. The younger staff(s) weren't very helpful, which made the service slow.

Came in for dinner on a Saturday night on a whim because my friends and I saw that it was a few minutes before happy hour ended. The waiter only allowed us to order one drink each before happy hour ended, which we would've ordered more had he let us but he reasoned that "anyone could order 10 drinks" just to get the happy hour price. (Which is only $2 cheaper than regular prices) The food was decent but you will leave there hungry because the portions are tiny! And not to beat a dead horse, but the waiter was not very accommodating to any changes we wanted to make to our meals. We were charged 20% gratuity in the check, which we realized was the reason that our waiter didn't care very much. WHO DOES THAT?? The restaurant overall was pretty dark, there was only other one party there during our whole time there and there were flies flying around out table. Will not be returning.

Wonderful local tapas spot in East Harlem. I've been coming here since it first opened and the quality of drinks has remained consistent. Most recently I stopped in on a Saturday during Pride Weekend. It was quiet and we were seated quickly. We had an order of the crab cake (one in an order) and though my socks weren't blown off, the margarita made up for it. We also had the lemon ricotta doughnuts next and agreed that we couldn't exactly taste the lemon. It was overpowered by the cinnamon and caramel sauce, but it was tasty nonetheless. It is a quaint retreat with reasonable prices, and all in all, I'll be back again soon!

For it to be happy hour my bartendar wasn't so much. Very Dismissive. When I asked to change my drink you would think I called her out her name. I took one sip and didn't like the flavor. She changed it for me but Bcus of poor customer service I just left it there, didn't complain, paid and tipped. But I will never come back. Oh and the food was ok. Not worth the trip.

A decent neighborhood spot, but quality of food is pretty average. --Mac'n cheese: really good; nice and cheesy and creamy without feeling overly heavy. --Malfatis (spinach and ricotta dumplings): the dumpling filling was pretty good, but the butter and sage sauce seemed to be lacking some flavor. --Albondigas: the meatballs were really dry and actually hard. It was a bad sign when I had to actually use force to cut into a meatball. --King crab croquette: decent but not that memorable. --Mushroom flatbread: good taste, but I was thrown off by the texture of the bread, which was not thin or crispy as I expected, yet it was not really bready-like either; it was almost like a hybrid bread-cake texture.

Yoo! This place is off the chain! Like, there's a chain...the Social is off it. As I was a little early meeting a buddy to head to the NYCFC match I stumbled upon the Social and was very pleased with service, food, beer selection, and environment. The bartender (can't remember his name, but he's Australian) was very kind and funny. Once my buddy came to the bar, who I didn't know was a regular, dapped up the bartender and the friendliness cranked up. He's in my top 5 bartenders in NYC. I can't tell you the other 4, you'll have to read my reviews. Any who, as I was waiting for my buddy and it 'twas happy hour and they had my FAVORITE sour beer on tap! Anderson Valley Gose is so tough to find and I was very happy to be graced with its presence. Also, $5 for a beer in Harlem, sold! I also ordered from the HH menu: -Beef Sliders with a chipotle mayo and cherry compote (HIGHLY recommend) -Garlic fries w/ lemon-mayo dipping sauce Food was out of bounds good. The chef works his magic in such a tiny space and produces straight magic! Overall, the Social is a dope spot for a quick drink after work or for your next date! Will defiantly be bringing my fiancée next.

Great little bar in the area and close to the train. If you need a good happy hour spot after work and close to the train, this is it! You'll quickly become a regular. Prices and happy hour are great! The food will surprise you. I haven't had anything that wasn't delicious so far. The fried shrimp dish, which happens to be on the happy hour menu, is amazing! It comes with this spicy mayo type sauce, and my god the sauce needs to be packaged up! The shrimp are fresh out the fryer and then on to your plate; Four plump shrimp ready for dipping! So good, piping hot and unexpected in flavor. I also have had the fish tacos, the chicken sliders and recently went for the Brussels. The Brussels are phenomenal, with a ton of cheese and bacon sprinkled throughout. My husband and I shared the prosciutto and cheese happy hour special. It was also very good. The bread was super fresh and was warm and sightless crispy. The cheese was powerful and so my husband wasn't a huge fan but I love stinky cheese so enjoyed it. It came with this honey dip for the bread, that had a tinge of A liquorish flavor, and that paired with the cheese and prosciutto was the perfect sweet and salty combination. Every dish is unexpectedly delicious and I don't know if it's unexpected because of the space, the location or just the general no fuss environment but I just didn't expect to be wowed by the flavor profile of the dishes served, and yet I am each time. I have been back several times since my first visit. The margaritas are also very good. The service is speedy and there are usually a good amount of tables to choose from. The music is at a good volume, so you can hear it but not so you are shouting. They usually have a game on, which is played on a large projector type screen behind the bar. Lots of soccer. I do wish the space was a bit brighter, but I think the dark vibe is with purpose. The space gives dive bar vibes but then gives the exact opposite in food options. I also think the bathroom could use a redo, but I'm a tough critic on restaurant bathrooms. In my opinion, your bathroom represents the cleanliness of your establishment. Keep a super clean bathroom and I assume your kitchen is just as clean.

Small intimate ambiance with the lights turned low. The most recent holiday is usually painted proudly on the large front window. I certainly enjoy having an easy and quick bar in the neighborhood. It can get rowdy when prominent football (soccer) games are on. The servers and bartenders are nice and attentive. I don't think I have had to wait very long for a drink here, even when busy. They have decent sangria but I generally just grab a white wine or whatever is on happy hour by way of beer. After living in the neighborhood for over a year, I've really tried to like Lexington Social more. Don't get me wrong. I love grabbing a glass of wine or a happy hour beer here. I will gladly nosh on the hummus. However, when I pop out of the subway I am never clamoring to head into the bar.

The food is amazing , the drinks too . I always go for happy hour , after work . It's romantic and cozy environment . It's small but it's so fun every time I go. Bartenders are awesome. Sometimes you get free shots of tequila . I will come back to visit for some more happy hours .

A neighborhood gem in east harlem I've been frequenting for years. They have great happy hour specials for wine and cocktails. The cheeses, flatbreads, and tapas are great for light bites before dinner. Don't forget the lemon ricotta doughnuts for desert!

PUMPKIN SOUP FOREVER. From the outside, I thought it looked just like any other bar. Then I went in, and it still looked like any other bar. But their menu is pretty groovy. I NEVER say that. I had their tres leches flan (good), and their ricotta donuts (good). Then Beth V. gave me a taste of her pumpkin soup, and I melted. Melted into the soup. Into the bread. Yes, my face was all over that. And then I got my own. Get your own.

Walked in and the owner/manager was in deep conversation with the waitress. We were told to choose a seat, so we sat by the window. The two continued their conversation. It looked business related, so I waited for a menu. Several minutes passed and still nothing. Finally, I made eye contact with the owner and asked for the menu. The waitress handed us the brunch menu. Apparently, they were only serving brunch. The owner overheard and brought me the regular menu and said that since it was slow, I could order off the regular menu if I preferred. I thought that was a nice gesture and very accommodating, but I stuck to the brunch menu. Ordered the French toast with strawberries ($9 for two half slices). It was good, fine. Nothing to complain about, but simple for the price. Orange juice was good, but also very small. The owner also came over to fix my wobbly table, so points for that.

This place is a hidden gem!! We have been here the past two Sunday's for happy hour and have not been disappointed. On Sunday's there is happy hour 4-close with MANY Options (wine, draft beers, margaritas, sangria) for $5-7. There Is also happy hour during the week! We have gotten the charcuterie board and of course deep fried donuts! DID NOT DISAPPOINT. Everything we so fresh and big portions. The atmosphere is so inviting and comfortable. During covid they have dividers with every table and take necessary precautions when entering. Our waiter Darren has gone above and beyond to give us a great experience. Cheers to a new Sunday tradition at this awesome spot!

One of the best restaurants in East Harlem hands down! The food is amazing... the drinks ... the ambiance... overall 5 stars... I definitely recommend this place!

Did not stay long enough to enjoy the greatness. I heard some nice things about this place, but the service left a bad taste in my mouth. Unfortunately, I was not given an opportunity to taste anything else. Around 6 pm, I dropped by the bar in athletic clothes (maybe I was too sporty for the place) and grabbed a spot at the bar to wait for someone. I noticed that the bartender had dual roles - bartender and server, which I thought was a little strange. You know, maybe someone called out or the service staff was running late. Ok no worries. I waited for a bit to get the bartender attention. Five - six minutes later (without any recognition from the bartender), I asked for a drink menu and one was tossed towards me. Ok, a little attitude but maybe the guy was swamped, so I gave him the benefit of the doubt. A few moments passed. A woman entered the restaurant and immediately was given a table, a menu, AND water. Meanwhile, I have not managed to get the bartender to take my order. At point, I was fuming a bit. Again, I am still giving him the benefit of the doubt, because he is the only person on the floor. Also, I still was waiting for someone to meet me. The straw that broke the camel's back. Another women came into the bar, she asked about the happy hour specials and then ordered a beverage. After making the beverage, the bartender/server immediately went to another table to see if the two folks wanted any more drinks. At that point, I had it, so I grabbed my crap and went to another place that was little more competent with its service. Normally, if the service has bad service, but the drinks/food are amazing, then I will give a place two to three stars. Unfortunately, I can only rate this place based the service that I did not receive. I will say that some of the tapas from other patrons' tables looked delicious.

Food was good but the service was awful. The bartender is a huge creep. He was aggressively flirting with all of the women in the bar and kept making jokes that he was going to swap waters for vodka. Tried to push people to take multiple shots. It was my first time there and I'll never go back because of how uncomfortable this bartender made me feel. This guy was pouring multiple "drinks on the house" for the woman seated next to me. Before she left he asked for her name and number which she didn't seem to want to give but then he kept asking her how he could find her on Instagram, even pulling out his phone to find her account. When she left he tried to kiss her and told her to come back soon. Advice to management: fire the creepy bartender.

Came here yesterday with a friend. Super friendly staff, very attentive. Had the ceviche and Malfatis, both were delish. red sangria was so good. Would definitely come back!

A surprisingly busy place in East Harlem. We came early for an happy hour on Friday night and found the place to be pretty full and quite noisy. All drinks were $7 and the margarita and rose on special did not disappoint. A good spot if you're in the neighborhood and want a festive spot for drinks (the World Cup in the background didn't hurt). We didn't try the food, but based on the other reviews not sure we missed out.

The food is incredible! There is a wide selection of cocktails, and the pricing is more than reasonable. But better yet the bar is one of my absolute favorites, mainly because of the staff. The employees here, bartenders and servers alike, have amazing personalities. They are all exceptionally kind, quite witty, and made for fun conversations that turned my "one drink stop" into an hour(+) because the conversations just kept flowing. First time I went to this place was for Brunch and it was worth every penny, it is always my first choice for a brunch stop. However, I really fell in love when I went there a little after dinner, the drinks were really good, and the bartenders can make basically anything you ask for. Great people, great food, good prices, excellent company. Highly recommended!

I have no idea how this place isn't completely packed - we walked in with zero expectations and were blown away. The food was fantastic, I had French toast and my date had the eggs Benedict - both cooked to perfection, and get this, the BRUSSEL SPROUTS were delicious (I have never, E V E R liked brussel sprouts)!! They have a giant screen for sports, happy hour specials, and the server was absolutely phenomenal. You need to try this place.

I was visiting a friend in the area & we decided to check this place out for brunch. We arrived early 12 something & had no problems being seated since the place was empty still. Once seated we started w some cocktails I Had the Sangria, very good nice taste stuck to this. My friends tried the Mimosa & Bellini good as well. Not a lot of options for brunch but the few they have are good options. I went with the Steak & eggs hard to go wrong with this I do not like Brussel sprouts & asked if I could substitute for something else the waiter had no problem doing this I got avocado. My steak was cooked well nice flavor, good roasted potatoes eggs I asked for over easy & they were not disappointed a little but was so hungry I didn't care the food itself was good, small brunch portion was good. My friend had the Prosciutto BLT good sandwich really good Truffle fries. Small restaurant, nicely decorated waiter was nice & attentive good service & decent brunch prices.

Beef empanadas are an affordable, delectable and filling meal in NYC!!! Staff is great, nice ambiance and big TV with pinstripes on... Get an extra sauce with your empanada. It's a god balance of spice and acidity.

Nice spot Uptown to get away for a little bit or after work social; which was exactly what I was there for. Their food options are pricey especially in comparison to the portion size but it was delicious, so not a complete win-lose. The place is very quaint so I would not organizing a social for more than 10 in a setting like this without having to complain about space or it being too tight to move around to meet & greet. It does get very loud. Waiter service is pretty good, as it should be because its not a huge place and it is conveniently located at the corner 103rd train station on the 6 line. They do take reservations for party/groups so call ahead. The happy hour is definitely a go to.

My BF & I have been coming to this place for years. It's "our spot." We live in the neighborhood and find ourselves stopping by at least once a week, sometimes twice. The staff is super friendly (shout out to Sam, who is friendly, efficient and just super awesome!) All the mixed drinks are delicious. I think at this point, it's safe to say that I've tried every drink on the menu. My favorite part is the 1/2 off bottled wine Mondays. It was originally Sundays but recently changed to Monday. I was a little bummed about that. All their tapas dishes are great too. Our favorite would be the ceviche, french fries & the shrimp dish. Check out this place if you're in the neighborhood. You won't be disappointed! My boyfriend and I actually joke that if we ever get separated somehow and our phones are dead, our meeting place is Lex. Not our apartment, but Lex. That's how much we love this place.

We ordered some shots. The bartender claimed to measure it out.... I've never seen a full price half shot in my life. What a rip off. Never again. We then asked him to measure in front of us and when they were amusingly short, he refused to fill up the shots the rest of the way. I'm not even mad. What a joke. Our waitress, Isabelle, was great so full tip there but she should find a new place to work where they pour a drink when you order one.

This place just opened up the other week and it's absolutely fantastic. We'll start with the atmosphere: The wait staff is friendly, remembers your order and what you like (this is our second trip) and in general is completely lovely. The music is great, sort of indie but old school as well. It's just loud enough that you can hear and recognize the songs, not so much that it interrupts your conversation. The design is great, wooden paneling and a cool tin ceiling. Moving on to food: the menu is small and well crafted. The hamburger is delicious and a bargain for size plus their amazing parmesan fries. The moule frites are some of the best I've had in the city; hearty and light at the same time. And the drinks are pretty reasonably priced. But as far as beverages go we've been sticking with beer. It's hard to argue with a $2 PBR. This place is something of an oasis in the neighborhood so on a personal level we'll be returning often just to keep them in business. If you're in the neighborhood this is a must-visit.

Food and drinks are great , servers are always nice whenever I go for drinks but Wilson is the man!! He's always friendly and take good care of my friends and I.he is amazing and smile no matter what and joke around with us .highly recommend to visit and experience it yourself.

I'm only giving it 4 stars because I didn't actually eat here.....but I did get my drink on! I was in this part of town hanging out with my peeps for the grand Puerto Rican parade weekend and the 116th St Festival. After walking blocks and blocks at one huge crazy fun block party crowded with people wearing and waving flags, I needed a drink pronto! On my way to the train station, on my long trek back to BK, I spot a happy hour sign!! Hellloooo $4.00 margaritas and Sangrias....come to momma! I was greeted by the awesome bartender Wissem who mixed up a delicious Sangria. They have papaya infused Vodka and Mango infused rum!! He also made an amazing Caprinha! He is a mixologist, balancing the flavors and adding interesting and unexpected ingredients. I met some awesome people at the bar and we had a great time. Everyone here was super friendly both staff and patrons. We were all chatting amongst ourselves as if we had known each other forever! This place has fantastic ambiance. I didn't want to leave :( but BK is a long way off! I'm coming back for the food!

A genuinely nice tapas bar nestled just a few steps from the #6 train. Kind of a strange area. The store next door sells cheapo plastic toys, depressing brands of garbage and queen sized bed mattresses for "ONLY $79!!". First off they open at 3pm not 4pm. Happy Hour is from 3-7pm every day. I'm not one for sangria but what they offer here is very nice, not too sweet. The bartender that was on was the real deal, cant remember her name, she whipped up a "motive for murder" for me and it was excellent. Incredibly fresh ginger taste, a big plus. I had the meatballs and shrimp tapas. Both were great. The shrimp sauce soaked up with the bread was excellent. A few drinks and this amazing shrimp dish seems to be the way to go. They don't serve octopus anymore.

I have been to this place about 5-6 times. It never disappoints other than the fact that they never have my favorite Tempranillo anymore. The brunch is really good and when we had bottomless mimosas we felt like we were on vacation. We'll be back.

The Happy Hour menu is decently priced for the area. I tried the truffle fries and bacon wrapped dates, OMG, delish. I'm not even a fan of dates, but when you wrap some bacon on it, I'm sold! I wasn't a fan of the Lexington Burger; the buns looked grocery bought and the meat was made too well, when we ordered medium. I did see a table who ordered the sliders, and I would have ordered the sliders instead; they didn't skimp on the meat! I opted to only order beer and was presently surprised how refreshing the sour beer was, especially in this heat wave. The place is tiny and intimate; I can see how overwhelming it would be on a packed day, but we went on weekday, and it was fine. I would patronize this bar again to support local business in my barrio.

Right by my subway stop after work, exploring my new hood, great specialty drinks and a full bar. I had the Halley's Comet and then mac & cheese, excellent, second only to my own. Nice cozy place, fills up very quickly after 5:00. Highly recommended!!

New spot which has an excellent drinks menu & a very interesting food menu. The cocktail list adds older classics like Corpse Reviver (my fav) to more standard fare all of which are made carefully with fresh ingredients. The food menu hits all my buttons, Steak Frites, Moules, Octopus, small plates, full entrees etc. I hope they keep it seasonal and I would love a happy hour for us commuters I didn't get to sample the food this time but i will soon, all in all a very welcome addition to Spanish Harlem. Well worth a try!
