The Lime Lite

This is my third time at Lime Lite and it was amazing as usual. The service is top notch here. They come around to make sure everything is fine and on time. There’s no time wasted among any of the staff! I had the wood grilled salmon and it was a great pair of smoky salmon and fresh cucumbers. For an appetizer we had surf and turf and it was the best appetizer we’ve had in Fresno. I’ve also had the Calamari strips which were great as well. The drinks here are strong and very well done. The lemon drop is so good! All in all this place is a 5/5 🔥

Always so consistent. Been here a lot and Never had any bad food or drinks. Great service every time! Killer food. Amazing atmosphere. Best spot in town, no question! I will be coming back for as long as they are around. Bravo!

Where do I begin? The food was delicious to me, it was the expensive wagyu beef. But upon serving it to me, the manager, named Clint, personally didnt like the way it was cooked. It was well done while i requested medium. He immediately forced a refire of my plate, while letting me keep my current plate. Some time went by, and the new one came out, still not to his likings. He went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. He did not charge us for the 2 delicious wagyus because it wasnt to his spec, that is customer service beyond belief. I also have to give a shout out to Clare, our waitress as well. She kept checking on us to make sure we were well satisified. All concluded with complimentary Desserts on the house! We will definitely be going back as we had a great experience. Thanks again guys!

Incredible experience from start to finish. Immediate seating (not busy and had a reservation), very efficient ordering, drinks, and paced meal service. First time here and we'll definitely be back! Photos are a lemon drop and old fashioned, seasonal spring salad with strawberries, fried garlic, and Green Goddess dressing, wood fired ribeye with mash and brussel sprouts, and the chocolate souffle.

Everything, from the atmosphere and cleanliness to the food and service, was great. The food was very good, dessert was awesome, and the cocktails were excellent. The customer service was exceptional! Our server, Esmeralda, provided outstanding service. All the servers that spoke with us were so caring. My mother in law said it’s her favorite restaurant in Fresno now! My wife and daughter mentioned a leaky toilet in the women’s bathroom, just FYI.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. The calamari, ribeye, and filet were all cooked to absolute perfection — tender, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The drinks were mixed perfectly, and even the beer tasted fresh and crisp. What really made the night stand out was the service. The host was incredibly personable and added that extra touch that made the evening feel special. Our server was just as impressive — knowledgeable about the menu, attentive, and genuinely helpful with recommendations. Overall, it was an excellent dining experience from start to finish. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this spot to others.

Went there on a date night. Lived the vibe and ambiance. Food was delicious, especially the calamari appetizer! The fried chicken was a huge portion, two people could share !

We are from out of town and this find is a gem! Absolutely amazing! Whether you’re eating at the bar, the patio, or at a table inside, the food and service at this restaurant is AMAZING!!!!! My husband and I both had the beet salad as our starter course, the ribeye for our entire, ordered medium-rare with sides Brussels sprouts, cashew green beans and broccolini. We opted out of dessert as we don’t normally eat sugars. Prices for our meal were on point. Less than $130 for dinner for our salads and entrees. Absolutely amazing dinner and our service from the hostess to the bar to our table side waitress were all fantastic. Highly recommend!!!

The service is good, the ambiance is something I'd never experience, it is so chill and relaxing plus the vibes are always welcoming. Now, the food is just another level of perfection. My husband and I always order something different from the menu each time we come, and we're always impressed by presentation & taste every time.

The service and food were absolutely on point for our 26th anniversary. A memorable night!! Clint & Hannah made us feel like we were their only customers there. The food was so delicious!! The Alaskan Halibut was so flavorful!! I definitely recommend the Calamari Strips for appetizer This was the best Anniversary dinner we ever had .

We just had a 50th birthday party for my wife here , and I want to say " Thank you ' to the amazing staff at The Lime Lite. First, they allowed us to show up before they opened and set up the room that we had reserved for 12 people. The Fig room was beautiful with music playing , and a private entrance. This venue was perfect for what we were looking for. However, what I enjoyed most was that our server Esmeralda was attentive , but not intrusive. She made sure our drinks were topped off ,and that everyone had food at all times. My family never felt rushed to order ,or felt hurried to eat. We had a nice family style dinner, and enjoyed every minute of it. Now , let me tell you about the food! Wow! For appetizers, we chose the surf and turf , calamari, and butternut squash raviolis. In my opinion, the surf and turf is something that I would go back for every day of the week. The steak was so tender and the sweet and spicy sauce was heavenly. There were thin slices of Fresno chile peppers throughout that made this dish pop. I highly recommend this as a must try! For entrees, my wife ordered the filet mignon which came with mashed potatoes and broccolini. Perfectly cooked, this steak was melt in your mouth good ,and the broccolini was flavored with garlic and parmesan. I chose the halibut which came with a roasted potato and broccolini hash. While the flavor was good, it didn't look that appealing. All of our guests loved the food, and had a great time! This was truly a memorable experience for us. The reviews on this place are well deserved, and I can't wait to come back to what I would call one of the best restaurants that I have ever tried. I was pleasantly surprised because from the outside, you would never know how good this place is. There really is no curb appeal here. The building looks old ,and there is no proper signage anywhere. It's almost like if you know - you know! Thank you again - you made our day so special!

dined here for a business dinner where I was able to choose a 3 course meal and was delighted. I got the wedge salad, which tasted fresh and hearty. I love blue cheese and blue cheese dressing so it was great, but I can see it being too much blue cheese gratings for the average person. I opted for the filet and was happy w the flavor and quality, my meat was cooked perfect medium rare, mashed potatoes were garlicky, flavorful, and smooth. Broccolini was cooked perfectly. For dessert, I got the Bread pudding which was decadent and just enough sweetness and it was wrapped in a croissant style bread which was a nice elevated touch Overall food taste and quality is exceptional. Pricing can be considered pretty high though so be sure to come ready to spend. This location Id say is good for a nice dinner/date/special occasion, but it would be pretty difficult to make this place a frequented restaurant. Service was quick and the staff were attentive and respectful. Food came out in a timely fashion and didn't have to wait long at all for water refills or table dish cleanup

Went here for a special occasion, even without a reservation we were lucky enough to snag a cozy booth. To my surprise, the interior felt unexpectedly upscale for Fresno. Warm, elegant, and inviting. On our waitress's recommendation, we started with the Surf 'N Turf, and it did not disappoint. An entrée-sized appetizer with incredible depth of flavor balanced between sweet and savory. The prime rib, their signature dish, absolutely lived up to the hype. Juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. My only regret was ordering three "meat-forward" dishes, leaving no room for dessert. I hobbled back to my car in defeat, overtaken by the inevitable onset of the meat sweats.

Tried this place for the first time when I came for a presentation so my dinner was paid for it. The fillet was a small portion but filling. The crab pastry on top of it was good. The wedge salad had a sufficient amount of blue cheese dressing, which made a delicious along with all of the fixings. The honey breaded cauliflower was unexpectedly delicious. The steak bites were good as were the bread at pieces on top of it, which we think might have been calamari or some type of fish. Service was efficient for a large packed room. Nice calm ambience for a presentation.

Been trying to make a reservation and can't even get someone on the phone. It's my birthday this month and I really wanted to try this place. Can't make a reservation for a party over 6 online or over the phone I guess.

Excellent meal with great service. Had the Tuna tataki for appetizer and it was fantastic! I had the scallops and my husband had the halibut. Both were delicious. I thought the prices were very reasonable too. Will definitely be back!

Came here for my son's B-Day. Grateful that they are open on Mondays. Seated right away, though they only had me for two people (reservations were for 3). Issue I had was when we were being seated, hostess crossed in front of us and was a near miss... no apologies. Perhaps oblivious. Server was excellent! She explained what was on the menu and made it sound delicious. My son ordered a filet and my wife and I had one to split. Very good! Drinks were OK. They need to offer espresso drinks. That would have went well with our dessert.

One of the best restaurant experiences in terms of food and service that you could ask for anywhere in the state, forget about just Fresno. From the initial experience with the manager, to our server, the plating appearances, the taste, the attention to detail and satisfaction, and the intimacy and mood of the setting, The Lime Lite checks all the boxes. It was so nice and engaging that I decided not to take pictures in order to remain mentally present for this experience. I made online reservations for my wife and I on a Saturday night, and the only availability was at 8:45pm, which was relatively late for us. The bright side was the restaurant was less occupied and that likely contributed to the service and attention we received. We started with the surf and turf and tuna Tataki, both of which were plated beautifully and full of layered flavors and textures. For our main course we had the seared scallops and heritage pork chop, both of which were cooked to perfection and I would highly recommend. For dessert we had the bread pudding, which was more biscuit/cake than "pudding" and not quite what we were expecting. But that certainly did not dampen our overall experience, and I eagerly await the next time we can fit an indulgence into our schedules.

What a classic, swanky joint! So glad my sister and I decided to pay this place a visit for a recent celebratory dinner. Treated like royalty from start to finish. Friendly service that didn't make us feel rushed and welcomed our many questions as first time guests. Happy to provide tastes of various wines to ensure we loved our choice. Opted to share their shrimp cocktail and wedge salad. Cocktail was delicious and well presented, although we found the sauce to be on the sweet side. Wedge was an extremely generous portion and definitely one for blue cheese lovers! Mains were Filet with Dungeness Crab Wellington (incredible!) and the halibut (a bit under temp and oily, with overly al dente broccolini). When the server then manager learned of our concerns with one of our entrees, they worked quickly to try to make it right by offering an entirely different dish at no charge. Not necessary by any means but certainly appreciated all the same. Lastly had their take on bread pudding. Different and delicious. I wouldn't hesitate to return to this place when we have another special occasion to celebrate.

Excellent dinner experience! It was fantastic from start to finish and felt like an elevated experience from the host to the servers to the atmosphere. You could tell everyone was a team - waters never empty, empty plates removed as if on cue, and very attentive to our every need. The food was delicious. We ordered a salad and their tuna special that night to start, both delicious. Filets for dinner that were juicy and tender. Brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes were soooo good. And then a birthday dessert of bread pudding (that was very yummy, despite the disappointment that they were out of the chocolate dessert). My only note is to skip the bar - Host sent us over while they prepared our table and the bartender seemed to be rushing us through asking for our order. I asked him if it was possible to make one of their signature cocktails a little less sweet by not including the simple syrup and he said yes, yet still put a sugar rim and seemed annoyed by my request and responded as if I was ridiculous to want that. All in all I would highly recommend dinner service and go back again if I'm ever in the area.

It was my first time here. I came on a Monday night around 6PM and was seated at the bar right away. The bartender was really friendly, checked up on me regularly, and helped me order. I ordered the Surf N Turf appetizer, Wagyu steak, and the bread pudding. Both of the tempura shrimp and steak were delicious with the sauce (I think it was ponzu sauce). The steak was cooked medium rare with a side of mashed potatoes. That was one of the best steaks I've had in Fresno. The bread pudding with ice cream on top was sweet and had me wanting more. Everything came out to around $115 without tip. The bartender recommended that I go back on a Thursday when they have specials. I'll be back for sure.

We had very high expectations from this place but were completely disappointed. Food was awful. We ordered 6 different plates, one went back to kitchen as it was worse than Chinese food in the mall. Other 5 were edible at best. No good flavoring, overly sweet and wet gravy like sauces meant to hide the dish. Too bad!!!! Service and drinks were great, but I wouldn't go back to a high end" restaurant for good drinks and expensive bad food

What a change, been a while since we've been here. Our food was very good. The staff were very good. My Old Fashion was one of the best I've had if not the best. I'm so happy with this visit. The Ambiance was just right. Close to home so I think we will be regulars again

The Lime Lite is FANTASTIC! My husband and I came for a Wednesday date night. Our server Hallie was excellent-- she was attentive, thorough and ensured our stay was great. Everything that came to our table was absolutely delicious! My husband does not like truffle-- but mentioned the lobster mac was the best lobster mac he ate, and even didnt mind the truffle! So so good! We ordered the center cut filet--medium rare and it came out to perfection! Hallie our server came by and described the bread pudding, she had me at baklava. Note-- make sure you make room for dessert because you don't want to skip this! So delicious-- all the flavors came together and a great way to end our dining experience!

The food was ok really pricy. The food came out like warm and there was a waitress that was kinda of rude but the food tasted ok.

Excellent service. Lauren our server was attentive, well versed, and friendly. We went on a Monday night and had a reservation on the patio area. The patio area is an open area to the outside but even at 100 plus degrees outside, it didn't feel like it in the patio because of the misters and fans. Food was great. I had the salmon and my husband got the prime rib. He did get it charred and the prime rib was more done than he wanted. Just so you know if they offer that option. Both were delicious. For dessert we had the bread pudding and key lime cheesecake. Lauren suggested a spritz of lime to make the key lime perfectly tangy. Parking can be difficult during the weekend, but we've never had to park elsewhere and we've been lucky with someone is leaving. We love this place food is great and service is always excellent.

Stellar service and food! So first off, I would like to deeply thank the host who accommodated my friend and I. I had made reservations using Toast through their website and it looked like they had possibly changed how they do online reservations. We arrived and it said it had been cancelled and I didn't cancel it. I showed my confirmation email and he was able to squeeze us in despite the fact that they were all booked up. So thank you for that! We were able to have an enjoyable meal and amazing drinks. So yummy! I can't wait to come back. THANK YOU!

The Lime Lite has easily become one of my favorite local restaurants! I recently came in for my Birthday dinner and Josiah was our waiter again- fantastic waiter! We ordered: -garlic pub fries: not the crispiest and small-ish portion, but yummy 6/10 -butternut ravioli: can't go wrong with this one! Lots of Fresno's local restaurants have their own versions rn. 7/10 not my number 1, but it's up there. -Chilean sea bass: SO yummy! Thoroughly impressed. Fish was cooked to perfection- tender and moist. The sundried tomato and harissa tapenade were to die for. 10/10 -Parmesan crusted sole: loved it then, and love it now! 9.5/10 -LL prime rib: "good, kind of rare (ordered medium rare), however the mashed potatoes were good" -according to my bf. 8/10 -Wood fired ribeye: They were able to split the meal into two plates for my parents to share and it was still a nice sized portion! 9/10

Wow...thanks Lime Lite for a wonderful first time experience! Great service and drinks and entrees! We ordered the prime rib and halibut and sole. My sole was excellent as well as sides and the desserts were excellent too! We will be back and as often as possible!

This is late but this was a Mother's Day dinner. I never been a fan of where this place is located. It's in an awkward spot and the parking lot is small. We were seated in the patio and they were blasting the misters when it was nowhere near hot to have them on. They did turn them off and the patio does look nice. I was a huge fan of the lobster mac but there's no price on the menu until you check out. I ordered the fried chicken and was not a fan that it was bone in which doesn't say on the menu. I still ate it since we had a later reservation in the night and it would've been inconvenient for the kitchen to make something else and the food be out in 20 minutes.Our service was pretty normal with other restaurants. At the end, we found out the mac and cheese was over $40. Just a heads up for people if that's too much to their liking

The service has never been anything other than great. The food has always been up to par, especially the lobster mac & cheese. I love that the ambiance is low key, no bright lights and always clean.

My boyfriend and I celebrated our anniversary here and we had a wonderful experience! We ordered the Lobster Mac for our starter -- the pasta was cooked well and it was a nice blend of cheese and creaminess along with the well-cooked lobster bites. I had the Center Cut Filet -- the filet was so tender and it paired nicely with the crab wellington. My boyfriend had the LL Prime Rib -- the prime rib was slightly undercooked to his liking, but the prime rib was still full of flavor and overall the dish was still amazing. Our server, Hannah, was attentive and sweet. My boyfriend and I were given a complementary dessert of their bread pudding in celebration of our anniversary, which was such a sweet gesture that made our night. I highly recommend this place :)

OMG.... This place is awesome. The service was great. I drove a group here for dinner, even though they were busy Clint was able to seat us. Our sever Sara was awesome and very friendly. She made sure we were taken care of and often came by to make sure we were ok. I come to Fresno often and will definitely be coming back.

This place is DELISH! The female bartender gives great service too! Make sure to get their awesome ahi, it has so many wonderful flavors and textures-not to mention its looks like a beautiful masterpiece! I also got their pork chop and I finished all of it, sadly I had NO leftovers! The only thing I tried but didn't love was their key lime pie cheesecake, I didn't care for the crust and I left that one behind...

We celebrated my husband's birthday, it was our first time visiting. We had a reservation, we were seated in a timely manner. Service was exceptional, our meal and drinks were excellent. I don't like loud restaurants and the limelight didn't disappoint. The atmosphere is mature, cozy, very warm ambiance.

Lime Lite is the most consistent high-end restaurant in town. Never had a bad meal here. The filet was cooked perfectly and topped with the perfect amount of sauce. The whipped potatoes melt in your mouth and the broccolini is just right. Service is always a 10 and so is the ambiance with the Christmas decor. Love it here!

A favorite! Made a reservation for a Saturday night and glad we did. Have been hearing much about this place and sure enough, it was amazing. We came on two separate occasions. I enjoyed the vibes it gives me. Very chill and socially. Tried their specialities - prime rib, rib eye, pork chop, and Mary's chicken. All were very delish. For appetizers, we tried the surf and turf, fries, and calamari strip. Surf and turf were scrumptious. I really love the way it was prepared. It had became a favorite of mine. Drinks were amazing as well. Really love the midori sour. Services were prompt and attentive. Overall excellent food and service!

Came here as they opened on a Tuesday. Had a reservation but at 5 p.m. they aren't too busy. Very attentive and great service here. We sat on their cute patio which is more cheery and bright than the inside seating. Firstly, their bread is amazing. Warm with a whipped butter that tasted like a hint of rosemary in it. Honestly, this was the highlight for me. My husband ordered the burger and fries, which was good as usual. His fries had a lot of garlic on them, which I liked! I ordered the Chilean sea bass. The fish itself had a slight fishy taste. It had a nice harissa sauce on top which had a great taste and so helped hide the fishy taste of the fish. Unfortunately, there was no taste in the rice or vegetables on the bottom. If I am having a plain white fish it would be nice to have something along with it that had a big flavor punch. The plain sushi rice underneath was not for me. However, I have had the fried chicken here last time I was here, and it was good. All in all, this place is great for date night or a quiet romantic dinner out. Just wouldn't recommend the sea bass.

To go order review. Yesterday my husband and I celebrated our 8th year anniversary. Last time we had The Lime Lite was exactly the same date Oct 14 but in 2017 haven't really had the opportunity to go back since it's on the opposite of town from where we live and we now have 2 littles so it's been hard to randomly go on date nights especially on weekday/ work days. As I could recall our experience from 2017 was okay, I had a halibut dish that I enjoyed it and My husband, but boyfriend at the time had ordered a dish I can't quite remember but I did remember that his food wasn't the greatest and I felt bad. We've also had been keeping a generous gift card to this place that was given to us from our lovely neighbors almost 2 years ago. Came across it figured it was time to use it and what better occasion to use it than our anniversary. I called the restaurant a little after 6 PM and asked if I could place a takeout order the gentleman that I spoke to said yes and put me on a brief hold. Surely after kind lady took my order and said it would be about 15 to 20 minutes. My husband and I ordered from the specialty menu. I had the parmesan crusted sole which came with whipped potatoes, garlic sautéed spinach, lemon caper beurre blanc. My husband ordered the wood fire ribeye (rare) which came with roasted ponzu bacon brussel sprouts, truffle potatoes, garlic butter. My husband picked up and the order was ready around the timeframe. They said it would. When he arrived home, the food was still nice and warm and they also gave us complimentary bread. My order was delicious the fish was so good and had the perfect crunch. The lemon caper beurre blanc was phenomenal I could just drink it lol. The Sides were also perfect. The mashed potatoes or so creamy and soft. My husband also enjoyed his order. His ribeye was cooked perfectly rare and it was so tender. The only thing we weren't huge fans of were the butter that came with the complementary bread. It almost tasted as if it had ginger, which is a bit odd. But overall the food was delicious! Everything was perfect to celebrate such a special occasion!

We had a fabulous meal, for all the Tuna lovers like me the Tuna Start was out of this world. Wish they had a main dish of the same starter dish. Yum! The Halibut Yum and Wagyu stake yum! And to top it all off the desert they gave us for our anniversary amazing. From the servers to the manager they made our evening feel special and we plan on returning again

On November 8, 2025, my husband and I celebrated our anniversary at the Lime Lite. Everything about our dinner out was perfect. The manager, Clint, seated us immediately. Our server was delightful and took our drink order right away. My husband had a glass of wine and I had a delicious lemon drop. Once we ordered, our dinner came quickly and was nothing short of amazing!! Hubby had the pork chops with bacon fried rice, mustard green salad and glazed cauliflower. I decided to try the hamburger steak with whipped potatoes and cashew green beans. Everything was cooked perfectly and plated beautifully. This is definitely the best restaurant in town and we look forward to our next visit!!

My daughter discovered The Lime Lite through a work luncheon. She said the food is super delicious! She and her husband took us there for my (belated) birthday dinner. She had to make the reservation two weeks in advance for the patio dining room (indoor tables were all booked until 10:00 PM). I was a little nervous about sitting outside especially after seeing the area and the parking lot (sketchy area). To our surprise, the patio dining area was enclosed with glass with lovely white roses and trellises covered in green vines (blocking the view of the busy street). The space was very lovely! There were modern chandeliers and fans above us. The decor was modern chic with a rustic touch. The indoor dining areas were very dark. I was glad we were outside in the bright and cheerful area. We started with appetizers: Garlic Fries, Surf & Turf, and Lobster Mac MP. Our entrees: Heritage Pork Chop, Center Cut Filet ( 6 oz. & 9 oz.), and Wood Fired Ribeye. For dessert, I received a free mini Bread Pudding w/Vanilla Ice Cream, and the other three had the Chocolate Soufflé. Everything was very good, but OMG the Surf & Turf Appetizer was the Star! The flavor was just scrumptious! I also LOVED the Bread Pudding w/Vanilla Ice Cream (I'm usually not a fan of Bread Pudding)! We were all stuffed by the time we left the restaurant! The service was impeccable, too! Our Server was very friendly and attentive! The dishes and flatware were cleared right away, and new cutlery were placed for the dinner entrees. We'll definitely return, but my daughter and I will order the Surf & Turf , Cauliflower and roasted Brussel Sprouts appetizers as our entrees. Those three items were the standout dishes!

With an old-school chop house feel, The Lime Lite is an excellent place for fine dining with an amicable staff. The comfy booths and large chairs add to the motif well. The lines one side of the restaurant with old-school flair, serving up excellent cocktails and signature drinks. A Old Fashion, as a litmus test, is classic and strong with the proper Luxardo Cherry. The only thing missing was igniting the orange peel to release the oils. The chops are slightly a-typical with sides included on your plate. This very welcome change is far more luxurious than having to pay extra. The only item for concern was how thin the chops were, but it didn't deter from how delicious they were. Seafood items are fresh and prepared with much care. Flavors are balanced and certainly nicely vetted. The excellence here is the attentive staff working diligently. The menu and value could be tightened up a bit to elevate this fine dining experience.

Delicious food! Probably the best service, bread and butter and steak I've ever had!! I can't believe I am just trying this place now!

We love The LIme Lite. Clint, the manager, is always so welcoming and the service is great. Gracie was engaging and provided excellent service last night. The food is always superb!
