If you want a sandwich get to this locally owned sandwich shop that's a cut above any franchise. Large menu with vegetarian, gluten free choices. If you go at lunchtime there will be a line but it moves fast with 6+ people making sandwiches. Parking outside the store can also be sketchy at lunchtime. Limited seating inside but half a dozen picnic tables outside if weather permits. Call in your order for fast, friendly service.

Excellent place for a sandwich, or sub. All the ingredients are fresh and you can tell. I got the Greek sandwich and it was good. I also got the meatless and that was better. The place is very busy and loud but the line goes very fast, people are always in and out real quick. Service is excellent and the atmosphere is upbeat. Clean and lots of choices for subs, sandwiches etc….

Have been here countless times and have had a wonderful experience every single time! Delicious food, fast service, and a skilled/friendly staff! This is a very popular place, so just be prepared to order and expect it to be busy.

I got the Isabelle. Soft, fluffy, fresh bread, but I felt it just needed a pinch of salt. Quality ingredients. The meat and veggies are so so fresh! I got a large which is well worth the $14. They don't skimp on the filling. The cafe itself is very busy, but the atmosphere was nice and there is plenty of parking and some outdoor tables. Overall, very, very good sandwich. Will come back and try more!

Wow, I've opened a place. It really feels authentic. I couldn't decide which sandwich to get; so many options there. It's a bit old-fashioned, but it's got local charm. My favorite is pickle cucumbers 🥒 Definitely I gotta try another one and return again.

My patients have been telling me about this place for months, so I finally got the chance to try it out for myself. My sister got the meatball sub with cheese, and I got the meatball sub without cheese. There is a good amount of parking outside. Today, there were Girl Scouts selling girl scout cookies, and there was a high school promoting blood donations at their school. This place has pretty much all the good foods that you could want. They have breakfast, but it stops at 11am. They have prepackaged salads in the fridge, cold soups, pickles, and drinks. They freshly make the subs and sandwiches. For sweets, they have shakes and some prepackaged cookies at the front, but I wish they had more fresh sweets to offer.

The sandwiches here are great. The Linden Special had the right ratio of meat to toppings and tasted great. The sub rolls are great and you can’t really go wrong getting any kind of sandwich on them.

it was mobbed. They have a deli that offers a variety of sandwiches and wraps. I had a pastrami wrap that had the meat and Cole slaw. They put a type of mayonnaise on it. The pastrami was a special of the day. To top it off I added a pickle. They are located outside of the main shopping center. You have to look for it to find it. I would return to explore their menu.

I'm seriously addicted to the Isabella. I eat it at last once a week. Consistently fresh with the ripest tomatoes, and tons of yummy basil. Not to mention the most amazing prosciutto I've ever had ....it melts in your mouth! Every time I come here this place is busy. Do yourself a favor and call ahead! (Although the line moves pretty quick). PS their breakfast sandwiches are pretty great too !

Always so good. I've been getting the bella with no prosciutto, add balsamic, on a baguette for years. Hits every time. The employees are so nice and helpful!

It seems like every weekend my sister-in-law has been getting sandwiches from this location. They are the best sandwiches that I've ever eaten. Everything is always fresh and I tend to order the guacamole on my sandwich and is extremely fresh and makes the sandwich well worth the trip. I highly highly recommend this place for takeout sandwiches.

5 stars simply isn't enough for this place. I've been 100 times and it's by far the best sandwich shop around. The menu is enormous, the staff has been there forever working for Greg and they're all excellent and amazingly efficient when it gets chaotically busy. Because it gets so crazy, ordering ahead is absolutely the move at lunch. Ashamed to say I've never had their breakfast options but if it's like anything else on their menu, it's excellent I'm sure. Run, don't walk to Linden store.

Food is great good size subs. Service is good. Ambiance is good out side. I wood go more tore when they open because they get biased

i love the linden store. whenever i'm in the area im there. it's very easy to call and order ahead and i haven't ever waited in line. Even though it's crowded you never feel pushed or pulled. I'm greeted with a smile and they don't rush you out. i love the linden, isabella, and chicken salad. There are tables outside and no one seems to mind they are in a parking lot. The most challenging is parking in the lot at lunch time. This is a well oiled machine of a place and i love the ambiance too.

Order online for pick up on minimum day for the schools so it was crazy. sandwiches were great and order was on time.

Absolutely delicious sandwiches! My friends and I all ordered a different one from a different part of the menu and they were all perfect. The vegetarian options were great too! Definitely can get pretty busy especially on the weekends, but the service was as fast as possible. Great local spot!

Best sandwich shop in Boston and maybe all of New England! Love the meatball, avacado special, tuna, turkey. We like the baguette. Amazing service.

A cute and well known sandwich shop located in the center of Wellesley. I have been going here since college and it has been a favorite of mine every time I'm back in Wellesley. They have a great selection of wraps, salads, sandwiches and chips. They also have great pickles! The staff is friendly and kind. There is indoor and outdoor seating and they do take Apple Pay.

This deli is fanatic and easily one of the best I've ever been to. The line was almost out the door when we arrived at lunchtime on a weekday. They are well staffed and very efficient so the line moved rather quickly. The turkey sandwich I got was so delicious and they have a good drink selection as well. The staff were so friendly and at ease despite how busy it was. I highly recommend getting a sandwich on one of their fresh subs. There is some sitting room inside and outside there are picnic tables. I definitely will make a point to stop by next time I'm in town.

A nice local sandwich shop, located in the center of Wellesley. The sandwiches are delicious and huge! They have a wide variety too, I got a Buffalo chicken wrap and my partner got the Isabella sandwich ( prosciutto, moz, basile, tomato). They have such friendly staff even though they are always busy. They do make them quickly, so the line moves fast. They have plenty of parking so not to worry. Also it says they don't accept apple pay but they do.

Loved everything about this sandwich ship. Fast, Friendly, and tasty. I want to get soft serve ice cream next time! There were seats along windows but we decided to take them to go. Great place!

Have been frequenting tbis FAMILY store for over 40 years. Always the best sandwiches filled with the freshest and quality cold cuts, bread and fixings. Watched the sons grow up following into their father's footsteps. Just a joy to stop by and a delight in feasting on the best sandwiches ever.

These folks make some unbelievable handmade sandwiches and you will love everything on the menu. The ingredients are fresh and the service is remarkably fast. There's usually a line but it moves quickly and you can order online to skip the line if you're in a rush. Most customers take-out, and there's a small dine-in counter. Finally, there's plenty of parking.

Good buffalo chicken wrap. Regular sub bread was lackluster but the baguette looked good. it was very busy but a little pricey. Lots of people buying milkshakes which also looked good.

The best sandwich shop. My favorite is the avocado special. The staff is extremely helpful and kind. They make your sandwich fresh and your in and out within 5 minutes. They even have breakfast! I recommend the bacon egg and cheese or French toast bagel. Indoor seating is closed at this time because of COVID but there are a few tables outside to sit at.

This place is incredible. They have 12 employees running around like crazy, helping people from all over, yet nourished for breakfast and lunch, including first responders. Their sandwiches are great, but I enjoy sitting at the counter and eating breakfast and drinking their coffee. Five stars!

Efficient service, good sandwiches, just don't come in person if you are concerned about COVID safety. All the people working here and most patrons do not have a mask on and it is crowded, perfect for spreading airborn pathogens. Everyone is literally shoulder to shoulder, not the best business or public safety practices. And this is fall of 2021 during the delta variant surge. There are many young people here in the unvaccinated group. Mask wearing is more about respect for others, so is this sign warning patrons that enter only if one is willing to risk regard for others? But again this is Swellsely's little bubble, evidence that privilege may be more effective than the vaccine. I will not be returning. Posting so you can decide before driving down to the store.

Yummy grilled cheeses every single time O go and now I love the super yummy meatball subs!!!

I'd call it Gods Work: The Resturant Literally EVERYTHING THERE IS TO DIE FOR! Especially those delish Meatball Subs. The oh so delicious CHEESE the Mouth wateringly good sauce and those MEATBALLS! THOSE MEATBALLS ARE GREAT!

The renovation has really helped this awesome place grow! I love the Isabella sandwich with mozzarella, prosciutto, and tomato. Best sandwich combo ever!!

Good sandwiches with fresh ingredients, specials sell out quick. Noticed that's the norm on the east coast at popular spots. Visiting from vegas a 24 hour town specials tend to last the whole day. Friendly staff.

Excellent sandwiches, but today I was charged more for my order than the menu board said, and the cashier said "the prices went up" when I asked about it. If the prices went up, then it's your responsibility to *post the new prices* before starting to charge them. UPDATE: When I complained to them on Facebook, they gave a response that basically amounted to "well, our menu says 'prices subject to change'" and then blocked me. With that kind of attitude, I unfortunately wouldn't recommend doing business with these folks despite their excellent food, and so I am changing this review from 2 stars to 1.

Popped in for lunch. It's a busy place!! Got the avocado special. The chip lite Mayo is off the chain! Overall the sando was banging except for the burnt bacon, 86 that next time, and this sammich is 100%. Will visit again soon!

Best place in Wellesley! I run on the thanksgiving sandwich and everyone I bring loves it! So many options, fast service, and overall a great New England Deli setting.

Just fair at best. Sandwich I had was barely edible and expensive. The service however, was very good many servers at lunchtime.

It's.......fine. Not sure what the fuss is about. It's a pretty standard boar's head deli sandwich shop. Could totally eat this and not be upset but I don't understand seeking it out. Can get the same thing lots of places. Live close by so have had it a few times. Pretty bland subs in general. Rolls are pretty good but not much meat in the sandwiches. Turkey is turkey....Meatball was meh, the Buffalo Chicken sub special which people rave about was just 2-3 small so-so buffalo fingers, bread and blue cheese. Innovative. People working there are very nice and seem to remember their regulars which is a big plus and probably one of the reasons people love it so much. Store layout a bit goofy. Sandwiches a little pricey for how little you get and how ordinary they are. Again, totally passable sub shop. Plenty of variety so chances are you'll find something you can eat. Just nothing to write home about.

Last time in there... I ordered the chicken parm sub special ... roll very fresh. Very little toe chicken in sandwich for 15 bucks..while waiting saw guy behind counter vigorously sweep carpet... open sandwiches being made on counter...was thinking dust must be floating around air onto meat? Grossed me out. The Italian sub, chicken salad are very good. They get an A for freshness, C for efficiency? Kind of bad layout where line forms on right... needs improvement. Price a little high sub , chips, drink a 25 buck lunch? Salads very good, last time I ordered one and asked for scoop of tuna for it and guy gives me a 1/2 pond container and charged me dearly for the weight of what is inexpensive tuna... Banquette looks way to go vs the large sub roll...

My mom and I stopped by today and LOVED our Turkey clubs. We got them with wheat bread and avocado and they were overall very delicious. Everyone was SO friendly and speedy. We will definitely be back!!

So... my experience here was really weird. They have signs that says "masks are optional" which is cool by me... but then NONE of the people working there are wearing masks and that's okay too by me but they were really chatting with each other and in front of the food Anyways the one star is actually because the sandwich sucked. Bacon was not fresh- they do this thing where the bacon is almost frozen (thinking precooked)... baguette was really tough like rubber.

Linden Store is hands down the best and quickest sandwich shop around...even though the hot side of the is lacking....the cold side sure exceeds expectations. Fresh rolls #1 Quality meats#2 and great recipes #3! Service is fast and frenetic....be ready to order. The ambiance is casual...you will always meet a friend there!

So glad we stopped by this great deli for lunch. The line was out the door for take out but we grabbed seats at the counter and were served right away. Delicious tomato stew and the avocado special sandwich was perfection. Their fantastic bread here is what really sets them apart. Also friendly service and a fun menu with tons of sandwich options!

If u don't like this place. Nothing pleases u. If u like delicious food,this is the place. There should be a Linden in every town. Steak ' n ' cheese. Is better than Genos . And the Chicken Stew is better than any booster

The Linden Store is a perfect example of a superlative food store which has its products always top- rate, its personal service ever- gracious and its selection options intriguing. They start with the best rated deli meats and cheeses, imported prosciutto, Boar's Head etc. , and use delicious rolls and buns. They build their 20 to 30 sandwich choices rapidly, generously and with consistent courtesy. They have excellent salads and a variety of homemade soups which put supermarket offerings to shame. During the COVID pandemic they do efficient curbside delivery. When things normalize in the future they have a dozen or more high counter stools to eat your scrumptious lunch. This delicatessen is the gold standard for all of Boston! And, on a praiseworthy note, it's a family owned and operated outfit, with an upbeat, cheerful employee staff.
