4.5/5 round up to 5 - seats are super uncomfortable but Mat Franco has a great stage presence.
My bf and I were in Vegas in December and we wanted to find a show to go to last minute. Wednesday night- there were seats left for Mat Franco's show and we opted for preferred seating in the middle - around $190 for two tickets after service fee/tax/all that. We've actually never seen America's got talent, which is what Mat Franco is most known for, but we browsed through reviews and his magic show seemed promising.
In terms of magic tricks, I wouldn't say they're the most spectacular I've never seen. Granted, I still have no clue how it works but I've seen more "unbelievable" ones in other magic shows. However, what makes the show, at least for us, is that Mat Franco is super funny, engaging, and charismatic. He makes the show, in my opinion. Classic magic tricks, but he adds his own flair and personal story background to it.
The seats are not comfortable at all- bar stools mostly and they're packed quite tightly together. There are a few plush chairs, but I'm sure you pay a premium for those.
I would definitely recommend this show. If you want to get picked to go up, definitely sit in the front/in the front middle specifically. He tends to veer towards those seats for volunteers. Sadly, we didn't get picked since we were sitting further back but there's always next time. The theatre is also relatively small, so even sitting in the back wouldn't be too bad. For the closer up card tricks, there's also a camera view on the big screen.
We showed up 30 minutes before showtime (7PM) and we had no wait to be seated. They escort you to your seat and remind you that there is no phone use/photography/video during the show at all. They also walk around patrolling during the show and I saw them tell off multiple people so they're pretty strict about it.
